The request begins in Ace's treehouse in the Poke-park where he's busy carving a pumpkin that looks like a gourgeist lower body until Lana comes in to speak with him.
"Ace, can I speak with you ?" Asked Lana.
"Sure Lana, what is it ?" Asked Ace.
"You know, that today's halloween ?" Asked Lana.
"Of course, I know today's halloween, but frankly Lana, tell me what's going on ?" Asked Ace.
"All right, you know that my sisters Harper and Sarah want to visit a haunted house ?" Asked Lana.
"I could use the haunted house of the haunted zone so that Harper and Sarah have a haunted house..." Proposed Ace to Lana.
"That's just it, Harper and Lana want to see the haunted house of the Poke-Park, since you know the haunted house experiment in Alola with Ash was not as we expected." Admitted Lana.
"Yes, I know, Ash told me a bit about this..." Admitted Ace.
"So is it okay Ace that Harper and Sarah visit the haunted house of the Poke-Park ?" Asked Lana.
"Sure Lana, I don't mind !" Answered Ace.
"Thanks Ace, I'll meet you back with May and Max for the Halloween Party in the Poke-Park." Said Lana.
"All right, see you tonight, Lana." Said Ace.
That night :
Ace was dressed as a vampire and he finishes May's Chimecho costume while his mother Caroline finishes applying painting for Max's mad scientist costume.
"Hold still, Max, I almost finish with the painting of your costume. So Ace, how are you on your sister's costume ?" Asked Caroline towards her oldest son and child.
"I'm just about to add the finishing touch, mom. All right, May, I finished your Chimecho costume." Said Ace.
"Thanks Ace, I must say, my disguise is quite faithful to the Chimecho's of Team Rocket of Hoenn, what do you think, Ace ?" Asked May.
"Quite faithful, little sis !" Answered Ace with a little smile.
"Ace, May, Max, your friends are here for your Halloween Party !" Said Norman.
"Good, time to go trick or treat, May, Max, you coming ?" Asked Ace.
"Behind you, big brother !" Answered May.
Meanwhile the rest of the Pokemon Heroes Team waits for Ace in the entrance of the Park/Ace's Gym Arena.
"Well, where is Ace ?" Asked Iris.
"Do you think he's..." Asked Gary.
"I'm here you guys." Said Ace.
"Ace ! There you are ! Happy Halloween !" Said Joe.
"Hey guys, happy Halloween, good to see all of you are here" Said Ace.
"Happy Halloween Ace..." Said Zoey while hugging Ace.
"Happy Halloween to you as well, Zoey." Said Ace while hugging Zoey.
"May, Ace, happy Halloween, you two !" Said Amethyst.
"Happy Halloween to you as well, Amethyst." Said May.
"Happy Halloween, Ace !" Said Candice.
"Happy Halloween as well, Candice." Said Ace.
"Hi Ace, Happy Halloween !" Shouted happily Pinkie Pie.
"Happy Halloween, Pinkie Pie but why are you dressed up like a chicken ?" Asked Ace, curious about Pinkie Pie Halloween Costume.
"I love to party and I love Halloween like every other ponies but i'm a bit chicken during Halloween..." Explained Pinkie Pie.
"Don't forget me, everyone !" Said Acerola.
"Acerola ! What are you doing here ?" Asked Lana.
"I asked Acerola, to join us to our Halloween Party, i'm pretty sure her expertise about Ghost-Types Pokemon could be helpful to the team." Explained Ace.
"If you say so, Ace..." Said Clemont, not sure about the fact that having a Ghost-Type pokemon expert in the team is a good idea.
As the heroes explores the haunted zone of the park, Ace begins to suspect something's not right, especially after watching two strange pokemons : Phantum and Gorgeist.
"Ace, what's wrong ?" Asked Zoey worried about her boyfriend.
"I don't know, I think I just saw two Pokemon and something tells me they were Phantum and Gorgeist." Admitted Ace to his girlfriend.
"Ace, it's the haunted zone, you know that there are many ghost-types Pokemon in here..." Explained Zoey.
"I guess you're right, Zoey, how about we join the others for the party ?" Asked Ace.
"That's the spirit, Ace, let's go !" Said Zoey, happy to have cheered up her boyfriend.
As the heroes continues exploring the Haunted zone of the park, they watch as Harper and Sarah plays two of the attractions of the park : Dusknoir's Speed Slam and Rotom's Spooky Shoot-'em-Up and after enjoying a sweet break in the pastry zone, they goes in Ace's gym arena until Ace spots the same Phantum and Gorgeist he spotted earlier.
"Ace, are those the Pokemon you saw earlier ?" Asked Zoey.
"Yes, the same Phantum and Gorgeist I saw earlier." Answered Ace.
Phantum spots the heroes and then the villains : Paul along with Lock, Shock and Barrel along with Oogie Boogie (The Nightmare before Christmas) and unleashes a wave of energy sending the heroes and villains into an illusion.
"Well, we definitely not in the Pokepark, anymore..." Remarked Ace.
"Or in Kansas, for those who knows Dorothy's quote in the Wizard of Oz..." Whispered Plucky while breaking the 4th wall.
The heroes continues exploring the graveyard.
"Then we are going to try and get out of this !" Kim said while trying to run until he's stopped by Ace.
"Kim, no ! Don't do that, it's an illusion, you can't act by impusivity !" Reminded Ace.
"Ace's right. You know Kim, I sometimes wonder if you're a kid instead of the Miraculous Hero of the Monkey." Said Iris.
On cue, wild Gourgeist appears and blocks the heroes path.
"See what I mean by acting by impulsivity ?" Asked Ace towards Kim.
"Gimme a break, Ace !" Answered Kim.
"Huh, Ace, you have an idea, because those Gourgeist sounds like not the friendly-types Pokemon." Said Gatomon, feeling scared about the fact that the wild Gourgeists watches the heroes with a creepy grin.
"I think I might have an idea, Mylene, you still have your Raichu with you ?" Asked Ace.
"I have, why, Ace ?" Asked Mylene.
"I need that your Raichu uses Thunderbolt on those Gourgeists, don't worry, those Gourgeists are an illusion, they won't feel anything painful." Explained Ace.
"Understood, Raichu, uses Thunderbolt !" Said Mylene.
"Understood." Raichu uses Thunderbolt and the Wild Gourgeists turns back as pumpkins.
"So what now, Ace ?" Asked Kim.
"We continue exploring the illusion and see what the villains of Team Rocket Ultimate are up to, let's move, team !" Said Ace, the heroes nods and continues exploring the graveyard until they found 3 crypts.
"It looks like 3 crypts, that means 3 ways different." Thought Ace.
"So ?" Asked Tai.
"We split up in 3 teams, each team will choose a different crypt and see what the villains of Team Rocket Ultimate are up to and find Phantum and Gourgeist.
Team 1 : Cat Noir, Carapace, Ryuko, Vesperia, Purple Tigress, Caprikid, Illumina, Lucario, May, Max, Amethyst, Dawn, Sophocles, Mallow, Maylene, Candice, Barry, Tuff, Cosmo, Cream and Cheese, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Dizzy Devil, Furrball Pussycat, Fifi La Fume, Calamity Coyote, Kenny, Leona, Zoey, Ray (Beyblade), Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Yolei (Digimon), Stan, Sandy, Maxwell, Pashmina, Penelope and Shaolan Li.
Team 2 : Ladybug, Rena Rouge, Pegasus, Bunnyx, Pigella, Rooster Bold, Silver Claw, Ash, Misty, Brock, Gary Oak, Tai, Matt, Sora and Davis (Digimon), Sora (Kingdom Hearts), Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, King Mickey, Yoshi, Kirby, Sonic, Tails, Amy, Lillie, Kiawe Twilight Sparkle, Pinky Pie, Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, Shirley Mcloon, Hamtaro, Bijou, Boss, Oxnard, Pepper, Sakura, Kero and Madison Taylor.
Team 3 : Anansi, Viperion, King Monkey, Polymousse, Miss Hound, Minotaurox, Ace, Iris, Cilan, Trip, Bianca (Pokemon), Elesa, Burgundy, Stephan, N, Luke, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, Shauna, Alexa, Viola, Verity, Sorrel, Gladion, Lana, Acerola, TK, Kari, Cody (Digimon), Jack Skellington, Luigi, Tiff, Knuckles, Chris Thorndyke, Fluttershy, Rarity, Thorax, Spike (MLP), Cosette Le Pew, Little Beeper, Gogo Dodo, Little Sneezer, Cappy, Howdy, Dexter, Panda and Snoozer and MeiLing Li.
With Team 1 :
The heroes progress through the illusions and found a house made of sweets and candies, they begin to eat, mostly Sophocles and Mallow, and they saw Mallow and Sophocles fat. And they spot the Sorceress (Spyro) and Lock (Nightmare before christmas) with the Pokemons and the Miraculous.
"So how do you like my special sorceress candies, Pokemon heroes ? First bite is delicious then it's the icing to the cake. I found those Pokemon and Miraculous. Giovanni and Hawk Moth will be so overjoyed to learn this." Cackled evilly the Sorceress.
"You'll pay for this, give everything to us back !" Complained Mallow.
"Never, the orders of Giovanni is to capture Pokemon and Hawk's Moth orders are to capture Miraculous, they will be very happy with that catch of the day I made with the sorceress." Mocked Lock.
"Now I hate brats like you !" Complained Zoe angrily.
"A brat, moi ? Well, too bad your boyfriend isn't here to help you, miss champion of Sinnoh's grand festival !" Mocked Lock.
With Team 2 :
The heroes progress through the illusions and found a Banette and a Shuppet doing what sounds like a puppet show but unknown to them, the puppet show is a trap created by Harvey (Pokemon), Stromboli (Pinocchio) and Shock (Nightmare Before Christmas).
"So how do you like our puppet-a-show, Pokemon heroes ? You may be wondering who's been pulling the-a-strings ? Well it's-a-me, Stromboli ! I found those Pokemon and Miraculous. Giovanni and Hawk Moth will be so overjoyed to learn this." Cackled evilly Stromboli.
"You'll pay for this, give everything to us back !" Complained Misty.
"Never, the orders of Giovanni is to capture Pokemon and Hawk's Moth orders are to capture Miraculous, they will be very happy with that catch of the day I made thanks to the alliance of me, Shock and Stromboli." Mocked Harvey.
"Now, I hate halloween !" Complained Pinky Pie.
"Let's hope so... Smell you later, Pokemon Losers ! And we'll be taking that Phantum with us !" Mocked Shock.
With Team 3 :
The heroes progress through the illusions and found the Queen of Hearts with her card soldiers patrolling the zone.
"This seems empty and no members of Team Rocket Ultimate sighted, I have a bad feeling about this." Thought Ace.
"Stay focused Ace, they could ambush us any moment !" Reminded Artikuno.
"Off with their heads !" Shouted the Queen of Hearts while her card soldiers ambushed the heroes.
"Capturing Artikuno and the Ice-type hero..." Repeated the card soldiers.
"It will be hard to defeat all those card soldiers, Ace..." Remarked Nora.
"Give us your Artikuno, if you don't want to lose your head to the queen, Ice-type hero !" Ordered a card soldier until Ace poke him and the card soldier are turned into different ghost-types Pokemon.
"And what about the Queen of Hearts ?" Asked Nora while poking the queen, huge mistake, the queen doesn't like that !
"Off with their hea..." Shouted the Queen of Hearts until Nora shoots her a spider-web to the mouth to prevent her from talking.
"No more off with their heads, today ! Queen of Hearts !" Said Nora.
"So, you zeroes have defeated the Queen of Hearts ? Big Deal ! Because look what I have !" Mocked Oogie Boogie while showing the Wild Gourgeist trapped in a cage.
"Allow me to tell you one thing, Ace, you and your friends have been disrupted the Team Rocket Ultimate plans for the last time !" Said Paul while glaring at the Pokemon Heroes.
"And now, nothing can stop us to bring back that Pokemon to Giovanni !" Said Barrel.
"Be quiet ! Barrel !" Reprimanded Paul.
"Make yourself useful, Barrel, and defeat Ace and his pathetic friends !" Ordered Oogie Boogie.
Barrel tries to hit Ace but Ace uses Ice Hammer which bashes Barrel and sent him blasting away but not before revealing a tiny hole which shows Ace's gym arena.
"I think I have an idea !" Said Ace.
"Really ? What is it ?" Asked Kari.
"We're gonna exit the illusion, brace yourselves. Ice Arrow !" Said Ace, using Ice Arrow, Ace shoots an arrow that crosses the Gym Arena and sent our heroes and the villains to the gym.
"NO ! Our illusion is broken !" Complained Lock.
"No matter..." Reminded Shock.
"We still have those two Pokemon for Giovanni !" Reminded Barrel.
"I don't think so..." Smirked Ace.
"What ?!" Exclaimed the 3 brats.
"Ice Hammer !" Said Ace, using this attack he blasts away, Lock, Shock, Barrel, Harvey and the queen of hearts.
"No matter, those you blasted away were just failures just like my Chimchar, Ace !" Reminded Paul with venom in his voice.
"That's right, where Chimchar fails to expect Paul's expectations, I will succeed bringing those Pokemon to Giovanni, so long, Ace !" Said Oogie Boogie before laughing evilly but unknown to him, Ace is smirking meaning he has a plan to defeat the 2 remaining villains.
"Ice hook !" Said Ace, a hook made of ice pierces Oogie Boogie and Ace begins to pull on it, much to Oogie Boogie horror.
"How dare you treats my friends and those Pokemon so shamefully !" Reprimanded Ace and rips Oogie Boogie body, revealing tons of insects.
"Now look what you've done ! My bugs ! My bugs ! My bugs ! My bugs !" Said Oogie Boogie while the insects composing the bodies are fading away, the heroes looks disgusted and in horror Oogie Boogie being defeated. One last creature manages to escape but gets killed when Ace stomps his foot in it.
"It's all right, you are safe !" Reassured Ace while delivering Phantum and Gourgeist.
"Thank you, Ice-type hero, we're sorry if we disrupted your Halloween party in the Poke-Park." Admitted Phantum.
"We didn't mean to scare you but we're glad that you saved us !" Said Gourgeist.
Meanwhile in Team Rocket Ultimate HQ, Giovanni was beyond furious !
"That Ice-type hero has struck again, how could this be possible ?! How many villains must I send to finally get rid of that meddling hero and his Artikuno ?" Vowed Giovanni in anger.
And with that the Pokemon Heroes team would like to wish a HAPPY HALLOWEEN !
Before we finish this chapter we have 2 post-credits scenes and without further ado, here they are !
Post-chapter scene 1 :
Ghetsis finishes up stitching back Oogie Boogie.
"Looks like we have a common enemy apart for my son that traitor N, this common enemy is : Ace, the legendary Ice-type hero, Oogie Boogie." Said Ghetsis.
"I won't stop until I destroy the Pokemon Heroes and that Giovanni will finally Ace and his Artikuno on a silver platter !" Vowed Oogie Boogie in revenge.
"In time Oogie Boogie, at least Lock, Shock and Barrel are officially part of Team Rocket Ultimate." Reassured Ghetsis while having an evil smirk.
Post-chapter scene 2 :
"And to think, Cofargrigus, I wrote fanfics about the Legendary Ice-type hero, and now we know that he's a Gym Leader in Hoenn. Perhaps it will be a good time to be another member of the Pokemon Heroes Team, what do you think, Cofargrigus ?" Asked Shauntal, one of Unova's 4 elites, fanfic writer and future member of the Pokemon Heroes.
