A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.
1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.
2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).
3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.
4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 44: Broken Bells Part 3
"The Wall?" Dianne asked, "Who exactly are you? Is it safe to assume that all six of you are Stand users?"
"Yes," David said, "At least one of you is a Stand user judging by the tiny creatures following us. But I'm assuming the other four of you possess Stands as well?"
"Yes," Bono said, "Let us cut straight to the point. Are you all followers of Dio?"
The Wall laughed at Bono's question.
"Followers of Dio?!" David cried out, "He's the reason we were stranded in this damned city. Allow me to introduce my friends to you, it appears I've been awfully rude to you. I've already introduced myself, David Gil Moure, but these are Tankian Surj, Jim Heatfield, Beedul Rigby, Elliot Collen, and Vitas Grachev."
"I see," Bono said, "If introductions are underway, let me introduce myself and my friends. I am Bono Edge and these are my friends, Karmiel Edwards, Sebastian Bache, Greta Kiszka, and Dianne Donovan."
Vitas bowed his body forward upon hearing everyone's name, "It is a true honor to hear your names. My mother raised me to respect the names of everyone. For if you insult someone's name, you insult their very being. Rest assured that I will not insult your names."
"Thanks…" Dianne furrowed her brows at Vitas' interesting respect towards them, "Hey, if it isn't too much to ask, would it be okay if I touched you all? Anyplace would be fine. Just raise your hand forward and I'll just need to touch you."
"I'm too tired to listen," Heatfield said, "Can I go back to sleep, David?"
"No, not now, Heatfield. We will treat our new acquaintances with respect. We will hear them out. Now then, Dianne, was it? Would you mind telling me why exactly you'd like to touch us?"
"Ah," Dianne stammered for a split second, "I have a Stand ability that allows me to tell if the last person I touched is lying! I want to make sure I can trust you!"
"Is that it?" David asked, bringing his hand forward, "That's simple."
Dianne sighed in relief that her lie worked as she reached for David's hand. But to her surprise, David pulled his hand away just before the two came into contact.
"However," David said, ignoring Dianne's shocked expression, "I would like to see this ability of yours first. If you're trying to test out whether to trust me, I would like to test out whether to trust you."
"O-of course!" Dianne brought out Voltaire next to her, "This is my Stand. Its wings open up wide when someone tells a lie. Now allow me to touch you all."
"Interesting," David said, "With such an ability, there can be no traitors nor can there be any deceit. However, I am still not convinced. That girl next to you, her name was Greta, was it not? I want you to touch her. Use your ability on her. And Greta, I want you to lie. I want you to take my name. Introduce yourself as David Gil Moure. We'll see how the Stand reacts.
Shit! Dianne thought He's calling my bluff! I can't open up Voltaire's wings. I'm sorry, Bono, Karmiel, Sebastian, but you'll have to think of a way to get me out of this situation! I'll stall for as much time as possible!
Hiding her inner conflict, Dianne responded to David without hesitation, "Of course, such a simple way to prove my ability. Greta, would you be a dear and hold out your hand to me?"
"Ah, yes," Greta wasn't sure where Dianne was going with this but decided to play along. She stuck out her hand and watched as Dianne turned to face her. She slowly raised her hand before grabbing onto Greta's.
Greta looked at Dianne's face and saw the panic in her eyes. She then realized that they were in a dire situation. Dianne's bluff had been called and now they would pay the price for it.
"Well?" David asked, "Aren't you going to say it?"
"Of course," Greta said. She couldn't think of anything to do. The Wall would find out that Dianne was lying and probably lose all trust in her. They might even attack and kill them. It was a six-on-five battle, surely they'd lose. Regardless, Greta said what she had been told to say.
"My name is David Gil Moure."
As expected, Voltaire's wings didn't move.
David laughed, "I am not surprised you lied to me. Don't worry, I don't harbor any resentment. Now, I believe you asked us if we were followers of Dio. You've heard our response, now we would like to hear yours. And no lying whatsoever. Elliot here can shoot out dense air at the same speed as bullets."
Bono sighed, "I see. Well, I think you'd be happy to know that we are also enemies of Dio. We are trying to end his influence that still lingers in this world. We want you six to join us and help us eradicate the Joestars along with the Brandos."
"I see," David said, "Very well then, we will join you. But if you, Dianne, try to touch us, I will make sure that you and your friends will disappear from this world entirely. And one more thing, we may need more Stand users, right? You can have this." David threw an arrow at the ground near Dianne.
David's casual threat sent a chill going down Dianne's spine. Just what kind of abilities did David and the other members of The Wall have? She wanted to have them but didn't want to risk Greta's or any of the others' lives. But her fear and anxiety went away when she looked at the arrow.
"That's a Stand Arrow!" she grabbed it, "Where did you get this?"
"Doesn't matter," David said, "Let's get out of here before I change my mind and kill you all."
Greta called Van Fleet forth, and the airship flew overhead, dropping a rope ladder in front of them.
"We will be making our entrances first, if you don't mind," David said, "Heatfield, make sure to use Master of Puppets in case our new friends try anything. Our altitude will be of great use to us."
"Damn, I'm too tired to do that…" Heatfield yawned, "But I will if I must…"
David went up the ladder first, followed by Beedul, Tankian, Vitas, Elliot, and lastly, Heatfield.
"I'll go first," Dianne said to Greta after Heatfield had begun to climb the ladder, "If they attack, I'll use Voltaire to replay events. Greta, I want you to go last. That way you have the least likelihood of being attacked."
"I agree with Dianne," Bono said, "I'll go second. Karmiel and Sebastian will go third and fourth, and you'll go last. It's for the best. These men could potentially be great allies to us, we just have to earn their trust first."
Greta nodded as she watched Dianne, Bono, Karmiel, and Sebastian climb the ladder before going up herself. When she made it inside her Stand, Van Fleet began its course back to the mansion in Japan. The Wall were all sitting on one side of the airship, and Dianne, Bono, Karmiel, and Sebastian were sitting on the other. Greta sat next to Dianne, accepting her open arms as she was embraced.
"We're heading to Japan," Dianne said, "I suppose you didn't really care where we were bringing you, seeing as how you came up here without hesitation."
"Japan," Vitas said, "I do not think any of us have been there yet. We have all lived most of our lives here in Cairo. Egypt is a fascinating place, but I thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience another continent's culture."
"Yeah," Karmiel said, feeling uneasy at Vitas' lack of hostility compared to the other members of The Wall, "Japan's a pretty cool place… Hey, Dianne, aren't we going to pick up that Khan guy as well?"
"Hm? Yes, I think we could. By the time we get there, nearly four days will have passed since Greta and I saved him. It wouldn't hurt to check on his condition."
"Who are we talking about?" David asked, "Are there others besides you five?"
"No, not really," Sebastian said, "We found another Stand user on our way to Cairo, he was injured so we took him to the hospital. We're hoping to recruit him just as we've recruited you."
"I'm not sure if recruited is the right word," David said, "You're making it sound like we're going to work for you. Do not be mistaken, we are going to work with you."
"My apologies," Sebastian said, not wanting to anger David, "I was mistaken, you're right."
"You are a smart one, Sebastian," David said, "Either that or you know how to lie in order to get your way. I'd be careful if I were you, I'd hate to be the one to order your death."
Sebastian didn't say a word, taking David's threat to heart. No one else said anything either, they looked out the windows, waiting for Van Fleet to hit its destination.
...
Dianne and Greta were inside the hospital, Bono, Sebastian, and Karmiel had volunteered to stay with The Wall. One of Sebastian's homunculi rested on Dianne's shoulder, ready to alert her in case anything happened.
Using Amplifier, Dianne was able to transport herself, and then Greta throughout the hospital before finally finding Khan's hospital room.
"How are you doing?"
Dianne's words startled Khan, who had been resting in his hospital bed. Bandages were wrapped around his head and stomach.
"D-Dianne Donovan?!" he said, "And… is that my Amplifier?"
"Amplifier?" Dianne asked as she looked at the metallic Stand next to her, "Is that what you've called it? It's a suitable name."
"How do you have my special ability?" Khan asked, "Just who are you anyway?"
"You already know our names," Greta said, "And we know yours. We're here to ask for your help."
"Anything," Khan said, "I'll do anything for you, anything at all."
Dianne smiled, "I'm glad you're easy-going. We're creating an organization. An organization of people with abilities such as us. These abilities are called Stands. And we'd like you to join us."
"Stand? Is that what my Amplifier is?"
"Yes, this right here is a replica," Amplifier turned into red mist as it circled around Dianne, "My Stand, Red Nightmare, allows me to store and access other people's abilities."
"Incredible," Khan said, "What is the purpose of this organization?"
"To end the bloodline of two families, and end the cycle of innocent people being caught within these bloodlines' feud. Will you join us, Khan Miran?"
"I will."
...
Van Fleet landed next to the mansion, having completed its expedition to Africa and back. Twelve people stepped out of the airship. The first was six men, keeping ahead of the rest. The next were two women, not keeping their eyes off these six men. Next, three more men came out, helping a fourth one walk into the mansion.
"What a grand abode," David said, "Is it really just you who live here, or have you deceived us?"
"No," Bono said, "This belonged to my father, we're the only ones who live here."
"I see," David said, "I'm sure you won't mind if we situate ourselves."
"There should be more than enough rooms for all of you," Bono said, "Go ahead."
"Very well," David said, "We'll see each other soon."
The Wall ascended up the stairs, and disappeared down a hallway, leaving the other six inhabitants behind.
"Who are they?" Khan asked, leaning on Karmiel for support.
"They call themselves, The Wall," Dianne said, "Just don't talk to them or go anywhere near them… We're not sure what their real goal is, and we're not sure if we can trust them yet."
"I see… I'll need some rest, however, I should still be in the hospital… Had we not snuck out with Amplifier, I would have had to stay for two more weeks at least. I just got out of surgery yesterday…"
"I'll take him to a room," Karmiel said as he took Khan into the elevator.
"What do we do now?" Greta asked, "How do we get The Wall to trust us?"
"I'm not sure," Bono said, "That should be our next task. Before we can get any other Stand users on our side, we need to be on good terms with The Wall."
"Do we really need to do that?" Sebastian asked, "Why can't we just have Dianne acquire their Stands? I'm not the biggest fan of those guys, to be honest. I can use my stand to steal their hair. Then we can use their own abilities against them and kill them."
"No," Dianne said, "Out of the question. That's too risky. Even if the both of us use Piece of Me, I doubt we'll be able to steal any strands of hair from The Wall. They noticed the homunculi last time, what makes you say they won't this time?"
"Yes, I agree," Greta said, "I don't want to know what'll happen if they grow hostile. It's best to leave them alone for now."
Dianne yawned, "I don't know about you guys, but all this traveling's made me tired. Wanna head to bed with me, Greta?"
"Yes, of course," she turned back to Bono and Sebastian as she waved them goodnight. Soon, the two men were left by themselves. But within a few minutes' time, Karmiel came back from the elevator.
"Khan'll be fine, he just needs to rest and regain his energy."
"Thanks," Bono said, "We'll leave him be for now. What we have to focus on now are The Wall."
"Absolutely not," Sebastian said, "You heard Dianne and Greta, they don't want us to provoke them."
"I have a feeling that The Wall is already plotting our deaths. If we don't act now, It'll be too late. All we have to do is get part of their bodies, any part, a strand of hair, a drop of blood, or saliva might even work. If Dianne touches any of these, she'll gain their Stands."
"I agree," Karmiel said, "There's no way those guys will let us live. They're going to take over. We need to give Dianne their Stands. Even if it kills them."
Sebastian sighed as he shook his head, "Fine. You guys can't do this without me, anyway, I'm not gonna let you all kill yourselves."
"Alright then," Bono smiled, "Let's go get The Wall."
Suddenly, Bono's vision was cut off. Almost as if his eyes stopped working. He blinked his eyes rapidly in confusion, "What the hell…?"
"Bono, watch out!" Karmiel just barely managed to push the blind Bono out of the way before a shot of dense air could burst through him.
"That was a close one," Karmiel said, looking at the six men standing above the stairwell, "The Wall are here."
"I am truly disappointed," Vitas said, "Sebastian Bache. Karmiel Edwards. Bono Edge. I had high hopes for you. I was listening to your conversation all along. All I had to do was strip away Jim Heatfield's hearing to improve my own. I could hear everything. It was a truly imprudent idea to try to betray us. Now, unfortunately, all of you must die."
"Piece of Me!" Sebastian created several winged homunculi from his skin, and had them fly above The Wall.
"I'll let you five have your fun," David said, walking back up the steps, "There's no use using Pink Floyd right now."
"Def Leppard!" Elliot sent another wave of dense air shots flying, killing nearly half of the homunculi.
"Just have to get a small part from each," Sebastian muttered, "Then you can use Ultra Violet to prevent them from killing Stand users. We can give the rest of their skin to Dianne to give her their Stands. This shouldn't be too hard."
"One of them's blinded me," Bono said, "Must be one of the Stand abilities."
"Damn, I'm useless," Karmiel said, "I can't do anything unless I ingest their blood, this is all up to you, Sebastian."
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing!" Sebastian jumped away from some dense air shots as the homunculi grew closer to The Wall.
Just a few more seconds! Sebastian thought They'll arrive in just a few more seconds! I can make it!
"My vision!" Bono said, "It's back, did the ability wear off?"
Another set of dense air bullets was sent flying at Sebastian.
"They seem to be targeting me," Sebastian said, "I think they realize that your guys' Stands aren't useful right now and that I'm their biggest threat at the moment. They aren't aiming for my Homunculi anymore either. I think they realize that it'll be easier to just get rid of me. Here's what I think we should do—!"
Sebastian was getting a bit dizzy, he struggled to stay on his feet.
"Sebastian!" Karmiel cried, "Your side!"
"My… side…?"
Sebastian looked down and noticed that a hole had been gouged out of his left side, presumably by an air bullet.
"Why didn't I feel it…?"
He was struggling to stay awake.
"I switched his eyesight for your sense of touch," Vitas said, "Finish him, Elliot Collen."
"Yeah yeah," Elliot said, "Tankian, what's taking so long?"
"Ready!" Tankian yelled as Shop Suey bit a sharp piece of the staircase's railing, making its user sharp and metallic. Beedul, on the other hand, had Blackbird shoot a feather into Heatfield's shadow. Blackbird vanished as it became one with Heatfield's shadow.
"We're ready to roll," Tankian said.
"Good," Elliot said, "I'll finish this one off."
Sebastian was not able to dodge the wave of dense air bullets that rushed toward him. Four of the bullets went through his body, gouging a hole in one of his thighs, completely severing his left hand at the wrist, destroying his right lung, and breaking through his left shoulder. Sebastian couldn't feel a thing but still collapsed on the ground, the homunculi in the air, falling down as well.
Heatfield and Tankian rushed towards Karmiel, and Bono's vision was once again taken away by Vitas.
"Just gotta hit Bono," Elliot said as he prepared another set of dense air bullets.
Karmiel summoned Uncontrollable Urge, hoping that he could somehow make his enemies bleed.
"This shit's so tiring," Heatfield said, "I didn't wanna do this… why'd you have to go and say all that stuff about not trusting us? Now we have to kill you all."
Karmiel attempted to move towards Heatfield but found that he couldn't move his body at all. He noticed strings coming out of his joints that led to the fingertips of two hands governed by a metallic sphere with a magician's hat and cape above him.
"I'm too tired to do anything…" Heatfield said, "Tankian and Beedul, you two can do the rest."
"I'd hate to make him suffer too much," Beedul said, "I'll at least make his last moments happy."
Blackbird rose from Heatfield's shadow and shot a feather at Karmiel.
"I'm so happy…" Karmiel said, "Why am I feeling like this?"
"Karmiel, what's going on?!" Bono shouted, "What's going on with you?! What happened to Sebastian?!"
"Die with a smile on your face," Beedul whispered as he looked at Karmiel, "That's the best outcome for you now."
"Die!" Tankian shouted as he swiped his sharp metallic arm across Karmiel's stomach, cutting him cleanly in half.
"One to go," David said. He had decided to stay and watch as he stood higher on the steps than Elliot, Vitas, and Beedul.
"Karmiel! Sebastian!" Bono yelled in panicked fury, "Tell me what the hell is happening!"
"Do not worry, Bono Edge," Vitas said, "Sebastian Bache died without feeling a thing, and Karmiel Edwards died feeling as happy as can be. I can take away your sense of touch as well if you wish. That way, your death will be a bit more merciful."
Sebastian and Karmiel are… dead?! No time to think about that now… There'll be plenty of time for grieving after The Wall are all dead! I need to find a way for Dianne to get their Stands, only then can we beat them!
Bono's vision suddenly returned to him. He figured that his vision had returned in exchange for his sense of touch vanishing. He looked over at Elliot, who was ready to send his final barrage of dense air bullets. Heatfield, Tankian, and Blackbird were also making their way toward him. There was no way out. But something caught his eye, something that suddenly gave him hope.
A winged homunculus, the last one that remained, was flying through the air. And Bono could've sworn he had seen six strands of air in its hands.
"Die," With a single word, Elliot sent the air bullets flying. Out of nowhere, Amplifier showed up, Dianne next to it, and pushed Bono out of the way, escaping the dense air shots.
"Just what the hell did you do, Bono?" Dianne asked, "What the actual hell is going on?!"
"Dianne Donovan," Vitas said, "You told Bono Edge to not try anything with us. You made the right decision, and for that, you may live. Leave Bono Edge to pay for his disloyalty toward your orders."
"Shut the hell up!" Dianne yelled, "You damn pieces of shit! What are you all doing?!"
"Just kill them both," David said.
Tankian swung a sharp arm at Dianne and Bono just as Elliot shot more dense air bullets. The homunculus was flying towards Bono as well. In the blink of an eye, Bono pushed Dianne out of the way, getting slashed in the side by Tankian, and getting hit by two of the air bullets. He leapt into the air and grabbed the hair strands from the homunculus. He looked over at Sebastian, who had a smile on his face as he closed his eyes for the last time.
Thank you, Sebastian… Even with your dying breaths, you did everything you could to fulfill your mission. Thank you, Karmiel… Even though you knew your Stand was useless, you still chose to hold your ground and fight, buying enough time for Sebastian's homunculus to arrive. You both fulfilled your duties before dying. Now I must fulfill mine before joining you.
Bono's eyes glowed as his bloodied body fell to the floor. The eyes of each member of The Wall glowed as well. Ten genie-like purple electric spirits came from Bono's body. Six of them entered the body of each member of The Wall.
"Your death will come at my hand if you kill another Stand user. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your lives run out."
Those words were repeated six times. Each member of The Wall froze.
Dianne rushed toward Bono, but it was too late, his injuries were too grave, and he was already losing too much blood.
"My apologies, Dianne," Bono said with a weak voice, "I have caused all of this… But The Wall will no longer snuff out any more lives. I am sad that four of my curses will remain unused, however, sixty percent of my spirit will remain in this world. I hope to see you again, Dianne…"
His voice trailed off as his eyes lost their light. The four parts of Ultra Violet that had not been used, rose into the afterlife.
"Damned idiot," Dianne muttered, tears in her eyes, "Just when I thought I could be happy again…" she noticed something in his hand, six strands of hair, belonging to the six members of The Wall. She grabbed the hair and felt six new powers within her control. She rose to her feet, "What you have done today will never be forgiven by me. But I doubt you'll all allow me to kill you. But the same goes for the other way around. As much as it pains me, I still want as much help as I can get in ending the Joestars and the Brandos. So I want—"
"I don't give a shit what you want," David said, "The only reason you're still breathing right now is because of Bono's curse. But you could still be of use to us. However, we will not be living in this mansion."
David and the other members of The Wall walked down the stairs and towards the exit of the mansion.
"Give us a call when the time is needed, but know that you have no authority over us whatsoever. We can't exactly kill you, but we are capable of trapping your soul forever. If you reveal any of our Stands to anyone else, we will come for you. Good day, Dianne, daughter of Dio."
Before Dianne could say anything, The Wall left, leaving her to fully dwell on the fact that Karmiel, Sebastian, and Bono were dead. She didn't hesitate to let the tears keep on flowing down her cheeks. The three people besides Greta she cared the most about were dead.
...
Two weeks later
Van Fleet landed near the mansion. Dianne and Khan exited the mansion as they greeted Greta. "How did it go?" Dianne asked.
Greta sighed, "Slowly but surely, I'm atoning for the people I've killed. Those two girls, June and Ally… their mother was killed by me. But they both possess a Stand now." Greta held the arrow in one hand, and two long strands of hair in the other.
Dianne took the hair and felt the two new Stands enter Red Nightmare's collection. "Where are they?" she asked.
"They're sleeping in Van Fleet. I'll wake them up later."
Dianne sighed, "One of these abilities…" Elastic Band appeared next to her and wrapped around her body, "I don't want a repeat of The Wall happening. That's why I'm two new things. The first, I'd like to assume the identity of my father."
Elastic Band turned Dianne into a spitting image of Dio, even down to the voice, "Those who know of Dio will cower and beg to be under his command. Those who don't will learn to fear me. It's the best way to avoid any other accidents from happening."
"I can't say I'm the biggest fan," Greta said, "But there's no changing your mind, I know that much. What's the second thing you'd like to do?"
Elastic Band disappeared from around Dianne's body, "Piece of Me!"
Two squid-like worms came out of Dianne's hand, formed from her skin, "I'm going to need to put flesh buds on every new member we get. That way, we can't be betrayed."
"Dianne! You are not doing that!" Greta was completely against the idea, but Dianne put her hands on her shoulders and looked her girlfriend dead in the eyes, "This is not negotiable, Greta. Today marks the true beginning of our journey to end the Joestars. As far as they're concerned, Dio has returned. In a few years' time, we'll have enough members, and we'll begin our first attack."
...
A/N: And that's chapter 44! This is also the end of the Broken Bells flashback arc! First thing, let's get the two musical references out of the way. First is Vitas' last name, Grichev, which was said for the first time this chapter. Grichev is the last name of the singer, Vitas. And second is Greta's maiden name, Kiszka, also said for the first time this chapter. It is a reference to the last names of the brothers, Josh, Sam, and Jake, all members of the band, Greta Van Fleet. As I've said before, I would've liked to have made this five chapters long, but then it would have taken up a lot of space from the final battle, and I wanted to flesh that out as much as possible. Had I been given a chance to make Broken Bells Part 4 and Broken Bells Part 5, I would have moved the battle between The Wall, Karmiel, Sebastian, and Bono in part 4, and would have used part 5 to explain the journey Dianne, Greta, and Khan took to recruiting everyone into the mansion. This would have shown the backstory of Jon L. and Stue Rod, whom we haven't seen in a long time. But it's fine, they never were meant to be important characters anyway. They just served as introductory villains. Anyway, with four chapters left in the story, it's time to get back to present day and see how it all ends. But for that, I'll have to see you all next week for Episode 45: One More Red Nightmare Part 1!
