"Very bold of you to ask me for favors, despite being heavily indebted to me, Enzo."

In the middle of a forest, very far away from the public, two specific people were in the middle of walking through said forest, though one seemed to be dressed for and enjoying the walk of nature, while the other was holding a map, looking very sweaty and exhausted, and looked very frustrated, that specific person was Enzo

"Fuggedaboutit Bayonetta, this is really important to both of us."

Enzo, after smacking away a few more mosquitoes from his face, quickly replies to what the adventurous clothed woman, who was named Bayonetta

"How so?"

Bayonetta raised an eyebrow as she sucks and licks on the lollipop that was in her mouth

"We're heading towards a very old abandoned village, and from what my buddy said, there should be a lot of valuable shit hidden around there, enough so to make me very rich and maybe pay off 10% of my tab to you and Rodin!~"

Despite Enzo experiencing a lot of discomfort from walking through the forest, the short fat Brooklyn man was very determined to find this so called 'Village' or probably run away in pant pissing fear

"And let me guess, I'm here to protect you from lions and tigers and bears? Oh my?"

Bayonetta did not appreciate the idea of just being used a bodyguard for the Fatman, though she will admit that being paid 10% of what he owes her is quite impressive, due to the size of what he actually owes her

"Not only that, but since it's an undiscovered village from a distant past, I thought it might jog some memories from your amnesiac brain of yours."

Even though Enzo might've sound and act like a greedy pig, he was not heartless and clearly thought of what could benefit and help the beautiful woman beside him, who couldn't help but pause her lollipop enjoyment and wore a small frown

"Distant Past…"

Bayonetta will always get random flashes of memories here and there, but they were always so quick and confusing, which made it hard to remember at all, but she does know that she does have a past, and unfortunately, that's all she will ever know

"Alright Enzo, you convinced me, this trip better be worth it, I might like nature, but I prefer a place with working plumbing and a bathroom."

Bayonetta quick shakes her head and focused on what they were doing, to which the Brooklyn man nods and tries his best to lead the way, after a while of struggling to get past the trees, and probably dealing with a few wild animals here and there, they arrived at their final destination

"Looks like we're here."

Enzo stated as he puts away the map, all the while Bayonetta took the chance to look around and see what she was specifically looking at, which was a regular size village, though seemed to be completely I'm ruins and broken down, not to mention overgrown and covered in plants and other vegetation

"Where is here?"

Bayonetta walks around and then kneels down, picking up a very old doll, which was barely staying together but was no doubt suffering from time and age

"Shishime Village, or at least that's what my buddies told me."

Enzo explain where they were specifically as he wasted no time ransacking and picking up anything that looks like it could be sold for a pretty penny

"That doesn't ring any bells for me, can you tell me more about this place?"

Bayonetta gently puts the toy back on the ground and walked around the area a bit more, hoping to see anything that could bring back some memories

"Well, from what I've been told, and what little research I could do, the 'Shishime Village' is a small normal home that famously known for being protected by the greatest Hero in history, who would always do everything to protect their home and help the people inside the village as much as they could, even if they were forced the save other places in the world, the Hero would always come back here, because it was their first and only home."

Enzo told the beautiful woman about the stories and history of the 'Shishime Village', all the while being excited to find something that definitely looked valuable and could make him rich

"Something tells me that this story doesn't have a happy ending."

Bayonetta then stood in front of a house, which looked like it was purposely broken and burnt down, resulting in crushing a family of sort with its structure, evidence of this is for her to see some shattered old bones still under the ruined home

"Yeah it doesn't, I don't know the specifics, but one day, the great Hero came back from saving the world again, and all they saw was the only home that they knew be reduced into nothing but burnt wood and bodies, and after that day, they never heard from or saw the Hero ever again."

As Enzo finished the story, he immediately saw something at the center of the ruined village and wasted no time getting a closer look at it

"That's, really sad actually…"

Bayonetta couldn't help but suddenly feel guilty for being at such a place with a upsetting history, which only made it worse when she found and picked up a old picture drawing, which was of a small but clearly happy family

"Eh, everything in history always has a sad ending to them, nothing new in all honesty."

Enzo shrugged as he then stood before and looked very closely at a 'Oni Demon Statue?', which is completely covered in dirt and plant life, but besides that was completely find and even in peak condition

"Whoa, look at this, not even a single crack or erosion on this thing, this will definitely fetch a very fair price."

Enzo couldn't help but be amazed at the condition of the kneeling 'Statue' in front of, holding up a finger and gently poke the nose of the 'Piece Of Old Art', though when he did this, the so called 'Old Stone Masterpiece' quickly opened its eyes and glare at him

"Hehehe, so you wanna pick a fight with me, huh? How FRESH of you!~"

The Oni Demon Man quickly raised his claw hand up high in the air, breaking free from the vines and plants that grew around his limb, and quickly brought it down towards the Fatman

"AHHHHH! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?!?!"

Before Enzo could get crushed by the large hand, in a instant, the Brooklyn man suddenly disappeared, resulting in the claw crushing the dirt ground instead, though despite missing, the Oni Demon Man could only smile widely in excitement

"You managed to save him from my attack, that's very FRESHLY Impressive, Woman!~"

The Oni Demon Man turns his head and looked at the beautiful woman, who managed to save the Fatman just in time before he was killed

"Hmph, looks like this place might be worth it after all~"

Bayonetta wore a very interested and curious expression as she puts down the Fatman behind her and turned her entire attention towards the Oni Demon Man, who quickly stands up to his feet and breaks free from the ground and plants

"Enzo, go back to the car, Mummy needs to teach this bad boy a lesson~..."

Bayonetta smirks, as she pushed up her glasses and placed the lollipop in her mouth and freeing her hands, which allowed them to reach into her purse like bag that she had on her side

"O-Ok! Kick His Ass Bayonetta!"

Was all Enzo could say before running off back to the forest, leaving behind the beautiful woman and the hulking devil, alone together

"So that's your name, my FRESH Rival, 'Bayonetta', heh?~"

The Oni Demon Man chuckles as he started to crack and pops some bones and joints on, getting himself ready and limbering his body so that it could more easily and not be so stiff

"Well you know my name, how about you tell me yours, Mr. Demon Thing?~"

Bayonetta made sure to not look away from the Oni Demon Man as she reaches and search inside her purse, the hulking devil laughs loudly in excitement

"This is so FRESH! No one has ever asked for my name before, how exciting!~"

Before the Oni Demon Man could continue to laugh at the thought of someone not knowing who he was, he was quickly interrupted by over a few dozen of bullets hitting his square in the face, which forced his head to bend backwards from the unexpected attack

"Well to be honest, I don't care enough to learn it anyway~"

The smirking Bayonetta had two pistols in both of her hands, which must be the same weapon that was used against the hulking, evidence by the smoke coming out of the barrel

"Hehehe, shooting metal balls at me, that is definitely a FRESH new attack I've never seen before~"

The Oni Demon Man then looked back at the beautiful woman, and she was slightly surprised and interested to see that he managed to catch all the bullets in between his teeth

"Mind if I give it a try?~"

Oni Demon Man then swallowed all the bullets, bend his head back again, and covered one of nose hole, this confused the beautiful woman and was about to question on what he was doing, but he quickly interrupted her by blowing hard out of his noses and shot all the bullets back at her, faster than before, this startled her and barely had time to react and dodge, luckily she managed to avoid every single shot, though the same could not be said for her clothes, as the bullets ripped through and completely tore off her clothes, but fortunately for her, before her nude body could be seen by the entire world, her hair quickly started to cover her entire body and turned into new fresh clothes for her, and after avoiding all the shot and wearing new sets of attire, she landed back on her feet, and aimed her guns back at hulking devil, who just chuckles again looked back at her

"By the way, my FRESH Bayonetta, you can call me Iihiko Shishime~..."

Once the Oni Demon Man, who was now known as Iihiko Shishime, felt like he was done messing around, wasted no time holding back anymore and just ran towards the beautiful woman with reckless abandon, to which she responded to his blind charging with even more gun fire, who just took it all without even flinching, once he was closed enough, he quickly brought a fist down upon her, but she effortlessly avoided it and started shooting under his chin, which did nothing, he then used his second hand slash at her with his sharp claws, who dodge again and shoots him at both sides of his head, which did nothing, and he then brought his hand, that was in the ground, upwards and tried to his her with a uppercut, but she dodged it and jumped over him, once she was behind him, she quickly did a roundhouse kick at the back of his head, to which she had another pistol at the heel of her foot and used it to shoot multiple times at the back of his, which did nothing, the whole bit of Shishime attacking and missing, and the beautiful woman attacking but it does nothing, it lasted for quite a bit, none really having an advantage over another, or at least not at the moment, once the Gunner dodged another attack, she was about to do another counter attack with her guns, but the hulking devil got wise enough and grabbed both pistols that were in her hands and crushed them completely

"I no longer view these toys as an attack anymore, so show me something FRESHer."

Iihiko spoke in a slight bored tone, she only responded with a smirk and let's go of the weapon

"As you wish darling~"

Bayonetta then started to dance and did a few sexy poses, which made Shishime raise an eyebrow in confusion

"AVAVAGO!"

Before the Oni Demon Man could question or just attack Bayonetta, she suddenly yells out a chant and all of the hair suddenly grew out and went inside a 'Magic Circle' behind her, before another appears behind her opponent, which made him turn around and quickly bare witness a very large demon like dragon climb out the 'Magic Circle', who was named Gomorrah, and lets out a loud roar at him before sudden eating him whole,

"Is that 'Fresh' enough for you, Sir Iihiko?~"

Bayonetta wore a teasing yet slightly sadistic expression, though her smirk quickly went down as she saw the Gomorrah struggle to keep its mouth, though it was pointless as their head was suddenly split open by the hulking devil that it tried to eat

"No it isn't Bayonetta~"

Iihiko jumped down and off the demon corpse, which fell to the ground and slowly disappeared, once he was free again, he menacingly started to walk towards the Inferno Summoner, which did make her take a step back

"ADRAMAN!"

Bayonetta quickly did another yet different dance and chant, this specific one quickly summoned a large demonic bird, known as Malphas, it let out a loud screech as it dived bomb towards Shishime, though before it ram into him, he quickly reached out and grabbed it by the throat, making it choke and struggle to breath, once he got a good grip on the big bird, he quickly slammed it on the ground and completely crushed it's entire neck

"TELOCVOVIM! CASASAM PIADPH! APACHANA NAPTA!"

Bayonetta decided that it would be more better to send more at once instead of getting each Infernal Summons killed one by one, this time she summoned a demonic centipede, Scolopendra, demonic spider, Phantasmaraneae, and six floating demonic arms, Hekatoncheir, they all roars and attacks the Oni Demon Man all at once, the Phantasmaraneae shoots a web towards him, in hopes to ties him up and restrict his movements, but dodges and grabbed onto the web string, he gave it a hard pull and send the flame spider towards him, once it was close to him, he quickly grabbed onto its body and used it as a shield against the demonic fists Hekatoncheir, though when they all punch the demonic spider at once, it exploded in a fiery way and sent all the lava like blood onto the floating hands, which burns and melted it away in completely agony, as that happened, Scolopendra took this moment of distraction to wraps it's entire body and quickly wrapped it around him, in hopes to strangle and crush him, but it was futile as he grabbed onto the demonic centipede and ripped it apart without hesitation, this made the Infernal Summoner frown at this

'One summon left, hopefully she can take him down.'

Bayonetta was about to do another dance and chant, but before she could, the hulking devil dashed forward and attempted to punch her, which both interrupted her and forced her to avoid the attack

"Your Pets Aren't FRESH Enough, So Continue Fighting Me, One On One!~"

Before Iihiko could say or do anything else, the entire area suddenly went blue and purple, which seemed to completely slowed down time, evidence by everything around them slowing down

"Sorry honey, I don't have, 'Time', to play by your rules~"

Bayonetta mocks the 'Frozen?' Shishime, as she quickly started to once again dance and chant again

"Here we go, MICM-"

Before Bayonetta had a chance to finish her summoning, she was quickly punched in the face and sent her crashing through a few houses, that were still standing, this not only interrupted her chanting, but also made time run back to normal

"I said one on one…"

Iihiko growls in annoyance, the Magical Lady groans in pain as she holds her broken bleeding nose, which quickly made her go wide eyes in realization

"W-Why aren't I healing?"

While being no stranger to receiving some powerful blows, this was the first time that Bayonetta got injured, and stayed injured

"Everything that I destroy can never be healed again~"

The Infernal Summoner looked up and towards Iihiko, who was getting closer to her and was no doubt ready to continue the fight

"Not even the world it's~..."

Once Iihiko explain all this, the beautiful woman quickly understood how deadly and dangerous this fight was

"I see, I guess I should be more serious from now on when dealing with you."

After Bayonetta got back to her feet, and having a moment to shake away the dizziness, she quickly used her magic to summon a long o-katana sword, which was called 'Shuraba', which definitely interested Shishime

"How classically FRESH, sword fight huh, I guess I can play along~"

Iihiko then looked down at his closed fist and open them up, revealing a lollipop that he gotten after punching his opponent in the face

"En garde~"

Iihiko held the lollipop in between his fingers and aimed it at his enemy, which actually insulted her and ready her blade

"This might be the first time I actually, genuinely, felt mocked before, well done good Sir…"

Bayonetta lowly growled before dashing forward towards him, using the mix of her own speed and slowing down time to make her faster, but not only was he still able to move and keep up despite all that, when she swings down her 'Shuraba' at full force at him, he was able to both block and completely stopped the attack, with a simple lollipop, much to her extreme shock

"I guess the stick is mightier than the sword huh?~"

Iihiko wore a very large arrogant smile, which definitely annoyed his opponent even further, as she jumped back and then add magic to increase the power of the weapon and quickly swing it back at him, which did have enough strength to effortlessly cut down everything nearby, like the ruined village and forest trees, but it was still wasn't enough, as he was still able to block it with the lollipop, this only further angered her, as she quickly started to wildly swing and slash at him, and with each new swing her, the power and speed she put into her blade continue to grow more and more and more and more, sadly, he was easily able to keep up with every single one of those sword attacks, blocking or deflecting each one with the tiny stick he held, this actually made her grow extremely frustrated from being made such a fool of, as she then suddenly yells in extreme rage, quickly charging her 'Shuraba' and full power and beyond and perform one last sword slash, which had enough power to both split the sky from above and the ground from below, and she actually landed the attack, slashing him completely across the chest after failing to block it, this momentarily made her believe that she has finally won, that was, until he sigh in boredom

"I don't recognize your attack, how disappointing."

Was all Iihiko had to say, before switching defense, with offense, he quickly swings his lollipop at the Magical Lady, who tried to block it with her blade, but he just effortlessly knocked 'Shuraba' out of her hand, and once she was completely disarmed, he wasted no time relentlessly slashing and cutting into her body, she tried her best to dodge or slow down time, but not only was she a bit exhausted from going all out earlier, but he just simply to fast and restless, giving her no chance to recover as he just continue to endlessly slice into her body, only stopping when she could no longer keep herself up and just weakly fell on her knees as she just forever bleeds everywhere and let the blood pool onto the ground beneath her, only having enough strength to look up back at him, who just smirks and licks the bloody lollipop, before simply tossing it aside

"I will admit, you fought better than that one other neutral person a few 1000 years ago, but that's about it~"

Iihiko then used one hand to grab her neck and gently lay down on the ground, while using her free hand to raise it up in the air, turning it into a tightly clenched fist

"Don't worry, I'll give you a FRESH death and send you to the realm of Heroes, you deserve that much for entraining me, hehe~..."

This made the beaten beauty laughs softly and just gently yet weakly rubs her hands on his strong arm that was pinning her down and caress his arrogant face

"S-Shame, oh well, at least I'll be killed by someone handsome, a-and not just another ugly angelic monster~..."

Bayonetta then sighs and just tiredly lays on the ground and completely accepted her fate

"Get on with it, I'm ready…"

Shishime completely obliged to Bayonetta's request and quickly swung his fist towards her face, which made her flinch and close her eyes as she prepared for the final death blow… But it never came, she opened her eyes again and noticed that the first was a few inches away from her face, this confused her, but then she saw the hand moved away from her face and then picked up a certain doll that was next to her, to which she recognize from when she first entered the village, she was then fully released by his choke hold, to which she took the chance to breathe again and cough softly, he then holds the doll in both of his hands, after the Infernal Summoner was able to catch her breath, she quickly sat up and took this chance to see what the Oni Demon Man was doing, much to her surprise, the once arrogant violent person, who liked to say 'Fresh' a lot, was starting to cry as he looks at the very old child's toy with such a devastated and regretful expression

"I'm sorry… I should've been the proper Hero you all deserve…"

Iihiko then fell on his knees with such a sadness and defeat, and while he did this, Bayonetta started to notice all of her injuries were slowly starting to heal, though she could care less about all that, as she just watch her once terrifying foe, into someone she couldn't help but feel bad for

"Oh dear…"

Due to the large amount of guilt, shame and solitude, the mind of Echo Of A Hero is completely broken and insane, leaving nothing but a Ex Forgotten Champion who craves nothing more than a good fight, let's hope that the Umbra Witch Bayonetta could help such a broken old and used to be great person ~
