Renard continued standing there. Gun held in his right hand as he looked at Nick who was staring back at him.
Sean then started looking around the room, seeing all of the destruction in the room. There were bullets all over the floor and many bullet holes plastered all over the walls. There were specs of blood in some areas and splatters in others.
He looked at the floor it was riddled with bullets. Guns are all over the place, some are probably empty and others maybe not. There were bodies, countless bodies everywhere. Some of who he saw blood still seeping out of and some who probably left a pool of blood but he just couldn't see it from the angle he was at.
Nightstands that were fallen and damaged. He lingered his stare on one of the dead bodies which had a ladle sticking out of his mouth. His eyes moved to the other side of the room that had bodies lying there deceased as well. A TV was cracked & on the floor with a smashed TV stand.
The wall on that side didn't have holes in it but was dented in some places. There was a big blood stain on the floor in the area as well, with another one of the deceased head's being visibly split open from falling into the wall it appears.
Another wall that is covered in blood too.
The bed was full of bullet holes too. The wood that held it up was chipped from being shot repeatedly and it too had blood on it.
He then looked behind himself to stare outside. Looking at the car that was still on fire but the flames were dying down. He could see through it a little and saw at least four Verrat in it, but some were already becoming skeletons.
He turn back to stare at the hotel and saw the bathroom door broken into splinters along with some bodies in there as well.
Now his eyes moved over to Nick. He had been shot, twice it looked like. Had bruises on a lot of the skin he could see and had scratches here and there. Probably came from the broken window. He was covered in the smut of numerous things, his skin clung to the smut even more because of the wetness from the sweat.
His shirt was shredded and from what Renard could see, his ribs had some deep bruising and it was already showing on his skin because it looked like a light shade of purple was already setting in.
He appeared fatigued, cold, wounded, and almost battered looking. Yet, that look Renard could see in his eye was the complete opposite.
It was a faraway gaze. He looked calm and collected.
Renard walked into the hotel room fully now and took a look at all of the bodies once again. "I didn't know a Grimm could do all of this." His eyes still had a disturbed look to them. He couldn't believe Nick not only survived Viktor's forces but also killed them all.
Nick just kept staring at him, not responding to what he said.
"Where's Adalind?" Renard asked next.
"Safe." He said shortly.
"My daughter?"
"Safe from you."
Renard's face twitched like he wanted to say something to that but decided to let it go for now. "Why'd you do all of this?" Renard asked. Nick could tell he had trouble fathoming some of the decisions he has made upon his arrival in Vienna with Adalind. That being one of the decisions as well.
"I have my reasons." He said again shortly. "Going to shoot that?" Nick asked coldly, nodding his eyes toward Renard's gun.
"I don't know yet." Renard said. Nick didn't say anything at all, just continued staring coldly at him in this animosity, tension-filled room all of a sudden. Renard looked down at the dead body of Rispoli. "Most of these people were Verrat."
"I know." Nick answered. He began slowly rising to his feet, the arm not bothering him as much as the leg shot. He grunted quietly but stood finally. Renard didn't move at all, gun still in his hand at his side.
The room fell silent now.
Nick thought about how this man constantly was a problem in his life sooner or later. Slept with Juliette.
Always playing chess with his and his friends' lives repeatedly for whatever he was up to.
Nick knew a minute or two ago that he was just thinking about how he didn't have much left to fight. But that changed now. No way he was going to die or lose to Sean Renard. Not a chance even in the coldest depths of hell.
"You really believe you can get them out of here?" Renard asked, breaking the silence. Nick just stared ahead at him for a moment. He picked up this cloth or piece of ripped clothing that was almost the same color as the black jeans he slipped on earlier.
He turned to stare back at Sean. "I've come this far." He said as he leaned back against the wall and began wrapping the piece of cloth around his leg bullet wound. It stands out but at least it doesn't just demand immediate attention now.
Renard stared at him the whole time he wrapped his leg. Either to make sure Nick wasn't trying to surprise him again or because he was possibly in some awe of all this. "Even if you do get them out of here, this won't be over."
Nick finished tying up the cloth he was wrapping then looked back at him. "Aren't you the leader of the whole 'live tomorrow to fight another day' group?" Nick said to him, using some of his words against him. Nick knew this wouldn't be over until Viktor or somebody from the Royals died, but the whole point of coming here was for Diana & to help Adalind get her back and then deal with the rest after.
Compartmentalizing the problems was always going to have to happen.
Nick could feel himself blink a little lazily. The blood loss was starting to get to him now second by second.
No words were spoken yet but a vibration sound was coming from the floor. Renard's eyes peered down and saw it was coming from Rispoli's body. Nick had a feeling that was either Viktor calling or Renard's phone that Rispoli most likely had.
Nick bent over even though it was a slight struggle and pulled out the phone from Rispoli's pocket. It had some blood on the back of it but Nick looked at the caller ID now. Just like he expected.
"It's for you." Nick said and he tossed it at Renard who caught it, he didn't seem too happy about having it thrown at him though and Nick loved that. Besides, Nick knew he and Renard were at a point where only one person was going to walk out of this one alive.
The only issue Nick somewhat had with that is him being Diana's father. That meant she would have to grow up without having her biological father. If it came down to it though, Nick would do what he would have to and he wouldn't feel as bad about it in this case. Renard did give her up as soon as the going got tough. "Hello." He heard him say as he answered the call.
"Sean?" Viktor question. That wasn't who he was looking for at all. "Where's Marcus?" Viktor's voice already showed you he knows what happened but just needed to be confirmed on it.
"He's dead." Renard answered and Nick knows that meant Viktor just asked the obvious first question of what happened to Rispoli. Wasn't going to be too hard to judge what Viktor would or was saying through the phone just by the answers Sean would be giving. Nick knew the shots to the head must have been bothering him a little then because it wasn't too much noise going on right now so he should have been able to hear Viktor through the phone but he couldn't.
"The child?" Viktor questioned.
Renard kept staring at Nick like he did when he first arrived at the hotel. "I don't know where she is." He answered and Nick knew the big questions were coming now.
"Adalind?"
"I don't know where she is either." Renard answered.
Viktor's frustration could be heard through the phone. "What about the Grimm?" Viktor said darkly and with some hatred.
Renard didn't say a word now & Nick was wondering if he was pondering something to say or if was Viktor still talking. Nick had a feeling he was pondering something to say. Which means he was probably about to lie about something knowing him.
"The Grimm got away." He said and Nick's eyes lasered focused on him now. Why would he lie about that? Sean Renard lying & turning on someone again though? No surprise.
Nick did hear a very loud, angry roar through the phone this time so that shows you how pissed off Viktor was to hear that information.
"I suggest you assist me in finding someone then because I don't believe I have to stress to you how paramount of a development this is for you. Considering two of them want you dead and the other is your child and also the most important reason for this, If you weren't a fool the Grimm would have never escaped, that Hexenbitch would still be here along with the Royal child." Viktor's voice was a mixture of the usual cold but nonchalant along with a lot of pent-up anger.
"I'm on my way." Renard just said simply because he wasn't amused by Viktor's statements.
"Why didn't you tell him I'm right here?" Nick asked truly.
"You won't be able to get to Viktor by yourself anymore. But I can."
Nick almost laughed out loud. "Oh, so now you're against Viktor?" Nick laughed in incredulous disbelief. Renard flip-flops every other day now it seems.
"I told you, I did what I did for Diana, my mother, and myself."
Nick scoffed. "Thought you said Adalind too?"
"Oh yeah, her too." Renard didn't even try to seem too convincing with it this time. He took notice of the look Nick was giving him. "Things change when she aids in screwing me over." He stated that like he was a true victim.
Nick was going to go on a rant about how she 'screwed him over' because he did it to her and their daughter first but he already was struggling with breaths as it is so why waste them on him.
"And what's stopping me from killing you right now." Nick said and he truly still was thinking about it. If he did have a way to take out Viktor though, it would really help Adalind and Diana if a big issue like that was taken care of.
Problem is that two letter word 'if'. Renard could just be lying. But Nick wasn't sure, Viktor and Sean weren't friendly that's for sure so it's possible he is telling the truth. But there has to be another something he could gain from this. Renard never did anything just for the sake of it, he was gaining something in this, and as sad as it is to say, it definitely can't be just to have his daughter back.
Nick felt the cold air take freeze on his body again & his wounds began to ache even more.
He also realized that if he was having these thoughts in his head, he must have already subconsciously decided its better for Renard to stay alive for now. He probably will be grateful for it now and regret it later with how Sean manipulates things but then again who knows? He may change his mind mid-thought later and just shoot him.
"If you planned on killing me, you would have already attempted by now." Renard said to him and as soon as he said the words Nick felt his stomach wanting to do it just because he said that.
Nick didn't say anything yet. Renard holstered his gun. "There will be a day when we are in this same position, on opposite sides." He took a pause. "And only one person will get to walk out of the door."
Nick raised his eyebrows for a moment. "Your right." Nick said as he bent down to search the body of Rispoli to find his wallet, taking out the Euros he saw in it. He walked over to another body near Rispoli's. "But on that day." He took more Euros out of the guy's pocket and put them into his. He then picked up the handgun on the floor and stood up to make sure the magazine had some bullets in then clipped it back in. "That will be your last day." He finished saying. Walking past Renard with a heavy limp.
He saw the blood still leaking off of his hand slowly and saw another dead body with somebody who was wearing gloves. He put the gun down on the bed as he pulled one of the gloves off of the dead body to put on his left hand to hide his bleeding hand wound as he did with his leg earlier.
"I'm supposed to act like I don't know where or should I say, Who, you are going to go see right?" Renard mocked. Nick still couldn't believe he was the one helping & saving a family from the man who should be the one doing it.
Nick limped past him again and painfully got down on one knee to get Adalind's mother's hat from under the bed. Rolling it up and shoving it into his now dirty jacket. "All you do is act so why not," Nick replied. Nick went to put the jacket on but labored in pain for a moment at lifting his right arm. His shoulder had a pulsating agony, aching to it more and more.
Don't even get him started on his ribs either. Felt as if there was a hell on earth, it was inside of his ribcage right now.
He slowly pulled the sleeve onto his right arm then pulled it up as far as he could with his left so it would even out when the put his left sleeve on. He finally managed and zipped it up with his left hand. That way he could cover his shoulder injuries and also the terrible state of his shirt. Mainly because it was pretty damn cold outside too.
He pulled the hood on now so that way his dirty & bruised face wouldn't be as easily seen.
He limped by Renard again and picked up the gun off of the bed. Now heading for the door to leave. Grunting in every breath he took as each limp put a soft jolt on his hurting ribs, but he could manage it. He had a feeling it probably was getting worse though because he started feeling the pain a little less in his shoulder so he was going numb slightly, which isn't good that's for sure.
Nick reached the doorway before Renard's voice filled the air. "Get them out safely." He said and Nick stopped in his tracks. He didn't plan on speaking if he was being honest. He felt a little irked at the fact Renard said that and sounded like he meant it but Nick couldn't get rid of the thought of how this all is only happening because of him in the first place.
Things like that are why Nick knows you keep Renard close to make sure you can try and see or figure out his plans. Keeping him at distance only gives him more opportunity. Shooting him seemed more appealing again.
Nick began to take a step forward when he remembered what he said earlier about changing his mind and shooting him. He just shook his head and finally walked forward. The thought keeps on turning in his mind but today won't be the day Sean dies, at least not by him.
But one day Nick knew- "Changed my mind." He said aloud.
Nick turned around abruptly and aimed his gun.
Bang!
Nick walked to the town car he used to arrive here with Adalind in the first place.
The snowfall started once again and the wind breezed against his face. Wasn't a strong wind, but a light one. The cold made his sore knee feel stiff & made the leg he got shot in feel a very sore pain that would sting depending on how he stood or limped.
He opened the car door & place the gun in the passenger's seat. Taking an extra while to even sit in the car. He was slightly annoyed, simple body movements he would normally do, he couldn't do without wincing from sitting down too hard or moving too fast.
He slipped a little on his way down to sit and ended up plopping down & his ribs were screaming in agony at him for it.
He closed the door and was glad both he and Adalind forgot to take the bone key out or he wouldn't be able to even use the damn car. He took one more look back at the hotel and then began driving away.
Nick would have just gone to Frau Pech's house right now so he could go be with her again...See her again, to make sure she was okay. He wasn't sure why the first words that came to his mind were "be with her".
But anyways...
He took a good amount of euros out of the few dead bodies so he could make a store trip. He remembers one that was in the direction of Frau Pech's house but not exactly.
The last time Nick saw Diana, she needed a new diaper and something tells him Adalind in the current climate of hell they were dealing with wouldn't be able to just find one. She probably could makeshift something but Nick wanted to help her in any way he could to make things easier.
Also, he still wasn't sure if Diana blowing him through a wall was a hostile act or her knowing he wasn't Renard. They both go hand in hand but still if she was receptive as Nick already believes she is, she should know by now that he out of all people, shouldn't be on her enemy list.
He also planned on getting food because he was starved so he knows Adalind is. It then dawned on Nick how much he is thinking about her and her well-being now.
Incredible.
He knows he already concluded that he doesn't hate her anymore, he knows he didn't want her in distress when he tried to take her mind off things. But getting her food and caring for her well-being now? That was something small, yes, but the small things are what matter most sometimes isn't it?
The small things that don't have to be done but you do them anyway because you care for the person. In this short amount of time Adalind's already got him seeing her that differently? She wasn't even here and she still found a way to amaze him.
He decided to turn his thoughts now though, he was feeling too smitten with the others all of a sudden.
He arrived at the store now & he also made a note to himself that despite the pain, he'll be leaving the car there and walking the rest of the way to Adalind. Viktor could simply just realize which car wasn't in the parking lot of the hotel and have it tracked so this was as far enough as he should take it. Besides wasn't too far of a walk now anyways, not that it was in the first place but in his condition.
Before he got out of the car, he grabbed his gun from the passenger's side of the car and used his left hand to put it behind his back in his pants then let his jacket cover up the rest.
He readjusted his hood to make sure it was on good, he was already going to be getting some stares and didn't want to attract many more.
He also realized there was a complex right beside the store and he saw a burger place along with a pizza place beside it. There were a few other restaurants but that was perfect for his food solution. Something heavy but also quick.
He stepped out of the car now, getting ready to try and walk with the least amount of a limp as he could and to tough it out.
Each step he took burned but at least he walked relatively naturally so nobody would look at him too funny yet. Although his pants were a bit worse for wear and that was stating that lightly but he didn't have anything to change with those. Only could cover up the wound and hope for the best.
He opened the door and it was pretty empty in there. Nick realized he should be too surprised, it was getting deep into the night now.
The guy at one of the registers looked at him and Nick couldn't tell if it was fear or if he thought Nick was a crazy person for coming in how he looked. Dirty, bloody, and disturbing looking. Another guy came in there with a hood on as well & to Nick's quick study of the guy, he looked like someone who planned on doing something stupid.
Nick ignored it though and walked to find a small package of baby diapers. Only had five in there but not like they were going to be needing many. He saw some bandages that he was going to be needing for his injuries and grabbed that as well.
He then saw an aisle full of baby carrier baskets and he couldn't believe he hadn't thought of that before. Adalind has been carrying Diana in her arms ever since she had her and Diana probably would like to rest not in the clutches of someone all the time as well. She only wasn't when the Royals had her for the short time.
He walked down and chose a simple one, it was mainly, black with some grey here and there. The label is on the side.
He probably could find a better one but then he wouldn't be able to get the food then probably.
Nick liked the cushion in it despite it being simple, it was soft. Cotton-like feel to it. He placed the diapers and bandage box in it, now beginning to walk up to go purchase now.
The guy he saw earlier had a few things but kept having his hand in his pocket as he walked up first. His arm kept looking antsy. Nick then had a feeling about what was about to happen as he stood behind him. Don't be stupid. Nick thought.
The cash register guy looked like he had a bad feeling himself. The guy walked up there and place the stuff down on the counter. Before the guy could reach for his stuff the man was about to yank his arm out of his pocket and Nick knew what was going to be in it. Before he could finish though Nick reached his left arm out and grabbed a stronghold of the guy's arm.
The cash register guy jumped a little so even he could see that guy was going to try and rob him. "Don't" Nick said simply as he kept a hold on his arm. The guy tried to yank it once a little but Nick's hold didn't budge.
"Either pay or just go." Nick said simply. The guy gave him a face like he wanted to try something but he begin thinking better. Yanking his arm away as Nick let go and he ran out of the store.
Nick just shook his head and the guy's nervous look faded away as Nick stepped up to buy his things now. "Something tells me that wasn't your first." Nick said as he put his few things on the counter.
He groaned to himself at his ribs anguish flaring up again.
"Happened just two weeks ago. Thank you by the way." The guy said and his accent came out heavy as well. Nick nodded his head at him as he began preparing to take the money out of his pocket. "Sir, Um, are you alright?" Nick looked up to see the guy and could see the dried-up blood stain on his pants and how unpleasant Nick's face appeared.
"I'm fine." Nick shook his head to try his best to show it wasn't a big deal even though you can just take a look at him and know it was. The guy looked like he would just accept it wasn't his business.
Nick pulled out the amount it would cost as the guy looked at the baby carrier Nick was about to buy. "You know, just take that for free. You did save my life." He gave a small, nervous chuckle.
"That's okay." Nick said.
"I insist." Nick could tell the guy felt like he owed him something which he didn't but if it made him feel better, Nick would just accept his offer.
"Thanks." Nick gave him a little smile, to show his gratitude. Paying for the rest of the things he bought. Placing the bandage box and diapers in the carrier now and picking it up to leave.
"Do you need a ride or anything?" The guy called out to Nick.
Nick chuckled to himself a little. "That would be a bad idea for your sake." He walked out now and made his way over to the car. Grabbing Adalind's bone key out of it than opening up his jacket to put it in one of the inside pockets. Zipping it back up.
He now began walking over to go get the food now. Should be easy to carry as well. Burgers would be placed in a bag so he could just put that in the carrier too so he could carry it easier and carry the pizza in his other free, although gloved hand.
Before the guy let Nick get the baby carrier for free, he only could get either the burgers or the pizza, but now he planned on getting both. Who knows how long they will have to hold for Meisner to be able to get them out of there?
After he gets it though, the 12-18min walk to Frau-Pech's house would start and he planned to not be on the sidewalk or streets much. Wouldn't be a good idea to have his head out too much in his condition with Viktor looking for him and also for random people to ask questions.
He took a breath. Then began to walk over there.
Adalind didn't how to feel right now.
She was holding Diana as she sat on the couch in the living room area, staring at the non-lit fireplace.
Her mind was racing with so many thoughts. She was glad and grateful to have Diana back in her arms and that should make her smile, and put her at peace. Which it did...until she thinks about other things. People.
The call with Meisner went up and down. At first, she had to prove she wasn't under pressure from the royals to try and trick him. Then had to prove she wasn't lying, they had a little connection the first time they met and she was a little bummed when he didn't tag along but that felt like a century ago now.
When he finally believed her that she wasn't being forced to do the Royals bidding by any means, he asked her if she was okay and that was the nicer side of him she remembered.
She told him everything that had happened up to that point and she asked him if he could go help Nick but he gave her two reasons why he couldn't.
One, it wasn't the objective.
Two, he, nor was Kelly in the position to help at all apparently. Adalind began wondering if they were even in Vienna yet. Judging by his tone, whatever they were doing to get them out of there was always going to take a couple of days.
She wonders if that was a part of Nick's original plan or if that was a new development.
Either way, the call ended after him letting her know they would have to hold out for a couple of days and she wished Kelly was on the other side because she would definitely come help, Nick. But Meisner was a mission-first kind of guy and she can't blame him because she could tell his life up to that point was no picnic but still.
She was worried.
She finally had to admit it to herself, she wasn't worried about herself, not Diana in this current moment, or anybody else but one person. A person she didn't expect to ever have that feeling toward nor did she ever think she be also having a hopeful feeling with it.
She was worried about Nick. Heavily worried. But clinging on to a slight hope he would survive even though she just doesn't see how he could.
He sacrificed himself for her. Why would he do that?!
No one has barely ever even shown her a true genuine feeling and now here he was risking his life for her and her daughter. It made her angry that the father of her child has done the complete opposite. It made her feel warm inside that someone has done that just for her.
But it made her feel so awful inside at the fact that may be the last thing he ever does.
Why does it keep bothering her so much?! She already admitted she was worried but it just felt so much deeper. She wishes she had someone to talk to about it. Anybody.
But then she remembered how most of her life, she hasn't ever truly had anybody to talk to or be herself around. Her father never was around, her mother saw an image of what she wanted Adalind to be, not who she was.
Renard? Adalind just laughed at that.
At least he never pretended to be there for her, she was at fault for chasing that jackass around. All he ever did was put her down, tease her just to walk away and use her then discard her.
She started realizing how much she was alone most of her life.
She looked down at Diana. She was asleep but her face brought a smile to Adalind that she didn't even know she did. Another reason why she was always going to hold on tight to Diana, she would never let Diana feel that alone feeling and she wouldn't be alone if she always had Diana.
Her saying that made her think about Nick though.
It also sounded exactly like what he was saying about not wanting Diana to experience what he did growing up. She understood what he meant by that at the time but now she feels like she truly understands it to the depths of what he meant.
He felt alone his whole childhood is what he meant.
He had his aunt, she had her mother. His aunt loved him, her mother loved her she truly believes. But like her though? Adalind doesn't think she ever really did. They were never really alike, didn't stop her mother from trying to change that though.
That's why Adalind believes she did love her. In her own, selfish way. She cared enough to want her to be the best version of herself, even if it was the version only Catherine wanted her to be. It was something.
She went back to her previous thought though.
She was searching for something. She feels it whenever she stares at Diana. Weirdly, she would get this little tug whenever she's been around Nick as well. She just couldn't figure out what it was.
God, she hopes he was okay.
She wishes it wasn't so quiet either. Maybe her head wouldn't be swimming in this ocean of deep thinking if the noise was distracting her even a little. Reminds her of when she felt like she was about to hyperventilate out of panic in the car yesterday. Until Nick needed help wrapping his hand.
She was surprised he asked for her help, she knows he could do it on his own and she knows he would have liked to. Why did he ask actually? She remembers the conversation they had and that slowly made her calm down and she even relaxed her head enough to think clearly.
Her eyes perked up now.
Wait maybe that's why he asked for help. He was trying to get her out of her own head and it worked. That little sweet, clever...Ugh. She didn't even know what to say, he just amazed her in so many ways and he doesn't even have a clue.
How did she go from hating and living in fear of him to longing for him to be okay?
Incredible.
She really needed to talk to somebody!
She looked down at Diana who was asleep still. "I'm just going to talk to you since no one else is here." She said to Diana softly, staring at her adorable face as some slight drool came out of her mouth.
She couldn't help but giggle at how cute it looked. She would wipe her chin but she wait a little longer until she was sure her sleep was in full effect so she wouldn't wake.
"You want to hear how crazy your life has been in a few days?" She rocked her a little, whispering in a kid-ish voice.
"We are currently in the house of a woman who not only betrayed me but tried to take you away. While waiting for a man who used to hate me as much as I hated him and we are waiting for him to hopefully escaped the man who is your father." Diana made this little cute, small baby sound but still slept and Adalind smiled big for the first time in a long time.
"And I really do hope he is okay. Because It would hurt so much if he wasn't." She knows she was worried but she would just also feel terrible to have to go back and tell Monroe, Rosalee, Kelly, and even Juliette about how he died for her. Anyone close to him for that matter.
He couldn't die. But she had a terrible feeling that he probably was.
Who could survive all of that? There were so many of them she saw running into that hotel room. She still feels like shit for the fact she left. She knows it was what she had to do but it didn't feel right.
Didn't feel right to leave him to fight on his own, no matter how much he yelled at her to go.
Then she looked down at Diana. That's why she left and he was right to say that she needed to but why did it have to come to that!? She hopes he was alive because she would probably spend an eternity trying to make it up to him somehow.
She looked down at Diana again. "Your mom hasn't done a lot of nice things you know?" She rocked her a little more. "But this would feel like the worse if he doesn't make it back as crazy as that is to say." Diana stirred but her eyes stayed closed.
"But you want to know something even crazier? Yeah?" She felt tears brimming the bottom of her eyes. "The person who I've done some of the most un-nice things to. Helped me. Us. Crazy right?" She gave a sad, small laugh. "Now some would call him crazy or dumb. Maybe he was to do so. But mommy doesn't think so." She smiled at her again.
"I think that makes him amazing. Do you think so too?" She laughed a little because she knows Diana wasn't hearing her or could say anything back but it felt nice. Diana stirred once again but this time her eyes slowly opened.
Adalind let out another breath of a laugh, watching Diana wake up was just so beautiful and she didn't think she would have those moments. "I'm so glad your here." She said to her as she kissed her forehead and smiled more when Diana laughed back at her. Her arms and legs doing the most adorable waggle.
"I just hope we won't be here alone." As she said the words Diana's eyes glowed purple and Adalind's smile faded. "Diana?"
Diana's eyes moved to the side to stare in a direction but Adalind wasn't sure at what. Then a knock on the door happen and Adalind's face stoned in some fear and trembled slightly in panic as she immediately looked over at the door.
She stood up but quietly. Walking over light-footed as possible. She went to the window to peek outside to see who it was. Another knock came & it sounded a little weaker than the last one.
She slowly made her way to the curtain to see who it was as she barely opened the side of the curtain to look out.
Now seeing who it was.
