Kagome Time
. . .
They had been spending lunchtimes together.
Kagome would be in her office, which was isolated from classrooms and Aizawa would knock on her door seeking some peace from his tireless class. She started bringing an extra lunch with her, since Aizawa was insistent on drinking coffee and energy drinks or whatever he scavenged from the cafeteria.
It was their little routine they developed over the past few weeks.
Together they would eat her home cooked food, sometimes he would complain about his students other times they would talk about their workloads, or share small tidbits about themselves.
She learned so much about him through his habits and just spending time with him. Like the fact he wasn't much of a texter, but he liked when she sent him updates throughout the day saying if she's okay.
He was a worrier, ever since she had a fainting incident not long after they agreed to date. Kagome should have expected him to be such a homebody but he really is the definition of an introvert.
He also loved head rubs, her fingers stroking his scalp and running through his hair was his weak point.
And today was like any other, as she worked on her laptop on the couch, with her feet up on the ottoman. Aizawa found himself with his head in her lap, napping his lunch away.
Aizawa highly valued the time he spent alone with her. It was peaceful and warm, he got food, Kagome's undivided attention, and most importantly head rubs.
It was sweet deal with the woman he was now dating.
He never really thought about what his ideal type of woman was before. But if someone were to ask him now, he would just say; Kagome.
She made the best homemade food all the time! She was a bit of a homebody like himself but she was independent yet fierce when needed. Kagome made him coffee every morning too, and he got his students away from him.
Was it too early to think that he was in love?
Now to be fair he did give his fair share of attention back! He spoiled her relentlessly with the best cuddles he could give. He learnt quickly she enjoyed the physical side of affection so he made sure to hold her hand or give her a quick kiss every chance he could.
One time he left a chocolate on her desk, and he swore she nearly cried in happiness. So he made a jar of chocolate that he hides in his desk so when they are doing work together he can slip her some.
Yeah some might think it's weird how he bagged the woman who he watched destroy a soul.
But what could he say? He liked independent and strong women… who make him coffee.
However some students always had to have a brawl at lunch and interrupt his Kagome Time.
Today was no different, as Midoriya and Bakugo had a spat and ended up disturbing his precious lunch date.
He stayed on the couch, hidden by the curtains surrounding the medical beds. But he could hear his students and Kagome very clearly.
"Honestly you two need to figure how not to harass each other." She chastised as she healed a particularly nasty bruise on Bakugo's face. Said boy was muttering and was glaring at anything that moved.
"We are sorry Higurashi-sensei, I guess we got a little carried away." Midoriya apologised, holding an icepack to his own bruised face.
"Well the next time you two brawl, I think you will have to heal on your own. Might teach you some humility." Kagome teased, as she healed another cut on Bakugo's hand.
"Alright you're done Bakugo." Kagome pushed the boy out her door, and turned her attention to the sheepish looking curly haired kid.
"What am I going to do with you?" She sighed with a smile. Her hand already healing his face. While the boys had minor injuries, there were a lot of cuts and bruises.
The fact she had to waste her energy on these idiots bothered Aizawa a lot. Once upon a time he considered expulsion to just get some peace and quiet, but now he could expel them and save her energy.
Gotta love fighting for a cause.
"Bakugo was mad I did better than him on the written test we did last week, so he challenged me." Midoriya admitted. "I honestly tried to walk away but he said I-" Before he could finish Kagome had a put a finger to his lips, silencing him.
"Never compare yourself, Izuku Midoriya." Kagome said seriously. "If you listened to every bad thing someone said about you, you wouldn't be where you are today." She sat down on the bed next to him.
"I've worked with you long enough and you seem to think that you're doing everything wrong, that you're not good enough. That Bakugo is better, Todoroki is better and so on." Midoriya looked to her with wet eyes, she had hit the nail on the head.
"I know what that feels like." She placed a warm hand on his head, ruffling his curly locks as he looked at his feet. "I had people compare me to someone else who had a similar quirk to me, and she was better at everything."
"She could heal better, her barriers were better, her combat was better, she was even prettier than me." Kagome reminisced, she was reminded of her situation with Kikyo. It felt like she could't breath correctly without being demeaned by Inuyasha. Her heart hurt at the reminder of her companion.
Aizawa listened intently, not hearing of this story before.
"But when you sit there comparing yourself it does nothing but serve to ruin yourself." She lifted his chin gently. "Stop thinking you're doing it all wrong. Your path doesn't look like anybody else's because it can't, it shouldn't and it won't."
"You're still growing Midoriya, you have time to grow into your quirk and yourself." Kagome finished her lecture, and stopped healing him. "I think you should think more about your position and what you have now. You are a special kid that I look forward to seeing become a pro hero."
Midoriya stared at his teacher, amazed by her words. She giggled at his awestruck expression.
"Class starts in five minutes you should head back now." Gently she nudged him off her bed.
"Thank you Higurashi-sensei! I won't disappoint you!" He had a skip to his step as bounced out the door.
"That kid is something else." Kagome sighed. "You have your hands full with him Shota."
Aizawa moved from behind the curtain, yawning from his nap.
"You think?" He groaned, a migraine already on the horizon. Kagome laughed, putting away the icepacks and antiseptics. Aizawa came behind her holding her waist, he dropped his head onto her shoulder groaning tiredly into her white coat.
Kagome smiled softly, and patted his head.
"Come on you have a class to get to."
Aizawa mumbled about not enough energy to deal with the heathens, she chuckled at his antics.
if it was energy he wanted though…
He felt her hot breath on his ear, and a small kiss to his cheek. It tingled, as his headache dissipated and his energy levels rose considerably. He smiled into her shoulder, and looked at her. She was flushed slightly trying to avoid his gaze.
"Thanks, Kagome~" He teased, nuzzling her cheek in return before releasing her.
"Y-yeah well don't push yourself you jerk." She blushed, trying her best to ignore him. Aizawa snickered and made his way to his class.
What he didn't anticipate was that the minute he opened the door was the two students who had just been healed had not left the hallway and had been watching through the doors window.
His quirk activated, his eyes glowed red dangerously and his hair floated.
If his students weren't expelled then they would certainly be dead in the next ten minutes.

"I'm telling you that Higurashi and Aizawa-sensei are together!" Midoriya exclaimed. Bakugo and himself received a weeks detention from their "eavesdropping" but what they gained was intel on their teachers. To which Midoriya promptly shared with his class
"There's no way! Nurse Higurashi is a total babe why would she go out with Aizawa-sensei?" Kirishima exclaimed. He leaned in his chair unconvinced of the story.
"I don't know why but they were clearly very close, he sounded happy and they were teasing each other!" Midoriya blushed as he cried out. His favourite teachers, excluding All Might, could potentially be together! Why was no one else as stoked as he was?
"It doesn't matter if they are in a relationship or not. They have a right to privacy." Tenya stated.
"Puh-lease this is the most romantic and juiciest thing I've heard yet! There is no way I'm not going to be involved!" Mina announced, already invested in the budding romance. The girls all nodded in agreement, this was interesting!
"I wonder how long they've been together." Uraraka spoke, nervously twiddled her fingers. The very thought of relationships gave her butterflies. Making her think of a certain green haired bo-
"Well before the U.S.J. incident they never were seen together but after that they were together a lot. So it has be around there." Momo declared, invested in the relationship as well.
"Thats about six weeks then?" Tsuyu guessed. It was that fresh of a relationship! And the class atmosphere fluttered in delight.
"Yeah but what on earth drew them together?" Denki theorised. "Granted Aizawa-sensei is a cool hero but his… personality is not as good." He trembled at the reminder of their brooding teacher
"Meanwhile Higurashi is an amazing nurse and is so pretty! Kero~" Asui gushed.
The whole class could agree on Kagome, but the rest weren't as sure with Aizawa. Their homeroom teacher was always tired and had a bit of an attitude problem. So while the match was cute they couldn't understand why?
"Aizawa-sensei is a lucky man." Mineta spoke darkly, he was already excessively drooling. "The perfect tanned body, toned from the swimming and jogging she does every morning at 7:32am on the school grounds. Her heaving, bouncy brea-AH"
Mineta was promptly wrapped in Aizawa's cloth, cocooned and hung from the ceiling. Sharp red eyes glared fiercely at his student, his quirk activated and ready.
"If I didn't know better I would say you want a year's worth of detention?" He vexed, a dark, ominous aura oozed from him and Mineta feared for his life.
Class 1-A quickly discovered that while he was scary when angry, when you talk about Kagome the man was downright spine-chillingly formidable. Especially if you said anything but nice pleasantries about the nurse.
"Sorry sir, it's my fault everyone is a frenzy." Midoriya admitted, as he settled into his seat. His teacher glowered at him, unhappy with the state of his class. Aizawa had hoped to keep his private life out of students hands but his wishes were seemingly bing ignored.
"ARE YOU DATING NURSE HIGURASHI?" Mina bellowed with a wide grin, it was an ill-timed question that undid the healing Kagome did for Aizawa's migraine. He rubbed his eyes, and mumbled out about expelling them.
"Would it kill any of you to be quiet?" He nearly pleaded, however he knew if he didn't say anything and let it fester it would be worse by the end of the day.
"Nurse Higurashi and I are dating." Aizawa stated, his dead eye stare daring anyone to comment on his relationship status. "Are you lot satisfied now?"
"WHO ASKED OUT WHO FIRST!?"
Aizawa's migraine came back almost instantly as his audily groaned.
Just one fucking day without them being all up in his business was all he asked for.
