Interlude
Sieg followed behind the Glaives, his heart pounding as his Rider Servant struggled to keep his usual entusiasm and energetic demeanor under control.
The homunculus had not been fond of the predicament he found himself in, and even less so of the company he found himself in. The Glaives and their leader (from what he could tell) were not the most ideal of traveling companions, but they and their succor were the best chance Sieg had at surviving.
He moved at a cautious pace. Following the Glaive, with Seig expecting any second to hear the female Glaive leading the team to suddenly say "Hit the deck" or something of the sort as they have had so many setbacks since the escape from the facility some months ago that they bordered on asinine. Now they were a hair's bredth from meeting another of the Iscariot's blades and Sieg's anxiety and anger were interwoven at this point.
Though thankfully it sounded as if they were lucky this time and the Homunculous hunters were passing them this time.
Sieg did not fear the idea of combating the Iscariots, for he had done so on multiple occasions after his escape. Ever since his fusion with the Saber of Black's heart he had a seemingly endless amount of courage to spare, so he would often fight alongside his Rider Servant and the Glaives.
Seeing the Iscariot grow further more distant, the Glaive made a sigh of relief much to Sieg's own solace.
All he could think as a result was What's next?
AN: Didn't really plan on making this but decided at the last second, as in the day before posting, but wanted to give any idea of what the next small incident in the story would involve; also I have speaking to a reviewer of the story and wanted to assure those who have reading this expecting some scenes and interactions with Shirou don't worry he'll be having more of a role in the story once Elric and company return to Clock Tower.
