So for my first battle chapter the feedback was pretty positive, I was disappointed with the lack of reviews as always though. I am sorry about it though because I forgot to include something that would have introduced Atlas before he showed up at the end there, I also am not very good at writing big battles, so I am sorry...
Anyways, the next few chapters are gonna be very chill, cool down from that Chaos, and then we will get back into it in a few.
I really ask for feedback because as I know first-hand there are some amazing ideas in the minds of you wonderful readers, it is just so hard to make you put it in feedback form.
The next few chapters should let you all get to know Nyx and Atalanta/Alissa more intimately before the big event that is happening in about 4-5 chapters that is gonna change stuff a lot.
One of the biggest ideas I need is a suggestion as to when and where the next large battle will take place, and how it will start, because I have yet to plan that out, thanks.
As always there were a few foreshadows last chapter, if you picked up on them, congratz!
Here is a nice short chapter to get the ball rolling with the chill pill for the next few chapters, just lean back and relax while you can.
Enjoy!

Apollo shone brightly upon the battlefield; the clouds had dispersed with the destruction of Atlas at the hands of Atalanta. Speaking of her, she and her apprentice had taken themselves away from the battle and tended to the wounded boy that they had saved.
"How are you feeling now?" Atalanta asked, making her hands glow and hovering them over the wound to see if it is getting any better... it wasn't, as she had worried, he was still losing blood even with the bandage and tourniquet, it was getting close to the point of being potentially fatal if they don't get him some serious medical help soon.
"Not well, I feel a lot woozier than I did last time we spoke."
"That's not good," she said and turned to her left, "Alissa, we have to get him to the hospital here in New Rome."
"I know it is asking a lot, but do you think you can walk, boy-?"
"My name is Ray," He snapped, looking her straight in the eye.
Wow, Atalanta had not expected him to actually snap at her, maybe it was the blood loss... But in reality, it was her own fault for calling him boy. She looked to Alissa and she was smiling, the Elder Huntress didn't need anything more than the smile to realize that Alissa was thinking of something very inappropriate.
"Very well, Ray, do you think you can walk? With one of us for balance."
"Only if I can pick which one of you." He said with just a touch of something Atalanta wasn't quite familiar with, he was looking at them with those confident eyes, he wasn't afraid of them at all... In fact, he seemed to be quite comfortable around the two of them.
They were both very impressed with how confident he was around them, but Atalanta couldn't help but pinch the bridge of her nose and sigh... but the blush to her cheeks spoiled the act.
"Try to be serious? Please? We're taking you to the hospital, Alissa, help me get him up."
"Of course," she said and the two of them got him up and they both supported him to the hospital. They were both worried about him because he had lost a lot of blood, if they did not get him there soon, he would have to have a blood transfusion because of how much he has lost.

Waiting in the lobby Atalanta and Alissa started a conversation to keep themselves occupied, the Elder Huntress could have used her title to not have to sit in the waiting room, but she just didn't care.
"So why do you care so much about this boy?"
"You mean to ask why I care so much about Ray?" She swiftly corrected.
"Wow, so defensive? Why do you care so much about him, Atalanta?"
"Because we swore an oath this morning to protect and defend any and all allies of the hunt, and because it was the right thing to do."
Atalanta looked at her like she was starting to get very annoyed with this conversation, she was not comfortable talking about Ray because that there was nothing TO talk about. She was burst out of that thought when Alissa suddenly gasped.
"What now?!" The Elder Huntress exclaimed, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"You-"
"Excuse me, ladies, your friend is ready to see you if you care to come back?" Someone called from the desk, it was the nurse and that is when Atalanta realized how stupid the two of them probably look... Or intimidating, she supposed. They both had some blood on them, and Alissa had a large gash on the side of her face that had scabbed over by now but was still rather bloody. Atalanta had blood on her sleeves and not to mention that they both were in their hunter's uniform, so they probably looked like some Halloween dress ups from the high school.
"Come on Alissa, we can talk later tonight."

They found their friend laying in the hospital bed with an IV in his arm administering blood, Atalanta was not very happy to see his condition, she had tried to prevent him from losing that much blood. She shouldn't beat herself though and she knew it, it was not their fault, he had been hurt very badly and the laceration in his leg had cut one of the larger arteries in his leg.
He was obviously joyed to see the two pretty women; they both came up to him and Atalanta asked how he was feeling now. Taking her hands and hovering them over the keg as they glowed, a content expression came over her face as she found out that the laceration had been stitched up and the artery mended. He was no longer bleeding internally like he had before.
"I'm feeling much better," he admitted to her. He looked much better now than he had then.
"That is good, very good."
"I never truly got the chance to thank you both, but I have to ask, why did you do it?" He hesitantly asked, looking down at the needle in his arm.
"Because it was right, it was the right thing to do, we are huntresses of Artemis... It is our sworn duty to protect and defend, and we did. There is no need to thank us." She said as she gave him an amazing heartwarming smile, she must have looked like an angel to him with her deep blue eyes and long, dirty platinum blonde hair.
"You are obviously young, what is a young boy like you doing out on the battlefield?" She asked him, looking him in the eyes and letting him look deep into her blue eyes. Those eyes held the wisdom of someone who had lived a very long time, been cut a thousand times, and knocked down a hundred more. But she had always gotten back up, and that is the quality of a champion.
"I have been an orphan my entire life, I got tired of the Orphanage and the way that old hag named Grelod the Kind treated us all... So one day I escaped, under the full moon and the next day I joined one of the cohorts, claiming I was 18 and a child of Apolo. I didn't completely lie, I am a legacy of Apollo."
"That is pretty sad," Alissa commented.
"Poor boy," Atalanta agreed, "We have taken many orphans into the hunt, I know what it was like for those children, I cannot empathize, but I can sympathize."
"Thank you," Ray said, "I really appreciate you helping me."
"Atalanta, what are we going to do?"
"Hmmm," she contemplated, "You're too young to be fighting, we take in young girls but at least they have the protection of the entire hunt... So why don't you come by the Moon Mansion, and I'll introduce you to Lady Artemis." She recommended, then realized that it probably was a mistake to have said that.
Suddenly he tensed up a little bit, "No, no, no, no, not her, anyone but her!" He dramatized, hr had heard the stories of what she does to men, and he was not going to be her next science experiment.
Atalanta signed, she should have been expecting him to have some apprehension about going to visit the goddess that is known for torturing men.
"Relax, you're going to mess up the blood transfusion if you tense up," she warned and her hands glowed as she gently waved them over the IV in his arm. He felt a warm sensation and the muscles in his arm where the needle was relaxed.
"W- The hunters, don't do those things anymore, surely you saw our Guardian? Percy? At least a few times, right?"
"Uhm, I suppose I have."
"Well Percy is a really nice man, and as long as you are the same nothing bad will happen to you, we aren't monsters."
"Yeah, you'll be fine." Alissa assured.
"Alright, I trust you, I will come to the Moon Mansion as soon as they discharge me."
"Thanks, we will be expecting you." They both said and left to go there themselves, they needed to go and regroup with everyone after the fight, they had not been back home since this morning and Atalanta needed to get a new shirt.

Alright there is the end of that one, very short, the first very short chapter in a long time. I wanted to end it there because I have something interesting planned for the next one.
Discord is a great place to share ideas and get to know me as an author, the invite is right here: 9hDzyzMkD3
Big shout out to my ever brilliant and faithful Beta Reader G0dzilla and my best friend Dmoney for help in developing Ray as a character. You will get to see more of him, Nyx and Atalanta in the next 2-3 chapters.
I know many MANY people have said something along the lines of this, but would you all like the story MORE if I made this a PertemisPernyx story? I have gotten enough people interested to warrant me asking, I know I said it would not happen but my goal is to entertain the readers.
I'll do it if you guys want it, but only if you start reviewing. let me know what you think, and give me an answer, if you want it the next few chapters are crucial for integrating it.
Have a great weekend!
