But thanks to the reviews though. I wouldn't know that you guys didn't realise what period this is in. But here's a new chapter.

Back then, Draeden never knew why training to fight dragons atop another dragon was necessary. Sure, because of the infighting it may come to that. But who in all the hells would have the resources to do that. Well turns out Draeden's family does. At the foot of the Fourteen Flames, sit the breeding grounds for the Dragons of House Draeterys.

Other than the sky, dragons would require the blessings of the world's flames to grow their own flame, size, speed and strength. As well as their characters.

The Breeding grounds were located deep in the Untouched Volcanoes that haven't been mined . That is where the dragons breed and lay eggs in, to make sure that they are close to the fires and heat of the Fourteen Flames. Special tools were provided and collectors were trained to retrieve the dragon eggs that are sometimes hatched at the most unusual places.

The dragons will be moved there when it is time for them to breed or lay eggs. After they are done, they will return to the skies as they should. Keeping them locked in confined spaces and in the dark will affect their strength and size growth negatively.

Next to the Breeding grounds are the training grounds where the dragons were trained to maximize their strength, speed, flexibility and of course, the bonds between the dragons and their rider.

It was there where Draeden and other House Draeterys dragonriders trained to combat other dragons. But since there is no one who knows how to fight dragons with another dragon, the greatest military minds that they have used 'what if' situations to train them to their best limits. But there is a lesson that is extremely important. Using what you have to your best advantage.

That is why currently, Draeden will use that knowledge to his best. And what Draeden had was the element of surprise.

Instead of spanning his three dragons out and make them take on the other dragons one on one, he focused all three of his dragons on the one dragon that is closest to them. And it was the rider and dragon on Vadar Vaethor's right. With a roar from Draxes, the three dragons all unleash dragon fire on the hostile dragon and its rider. They didn't have time to react as Draeden and his dragons began to unleash that hot dragon flames of theirs.

The scream started once the fire hit it's victims. The screams from the searing pain off both the dragon and rider made Draeden wince. But he didn't stop. Instead he increased the heat they were unleashing. Once the screaming stopped, he mentally commanded his dragons to stop and immediately executed his next step.

One would probably think Draeden would send Draxes, the largest of his dragons to fight the equally largest dragon of his adversary head on. Well, sorry to disappoint you then. Draeden wanted no risks as he cherishes all three of his dragons.

That is why Draeden sent Jahiryez and Baneryz, the two smaller of his dragons to face Vadar and his larger dragon. They were still half it's size, but their task was only to stall off Vadar Vaethor and his mount. While he and Draxes will try to destroy the other smaller and weaker dragon rode by Vadar's brother when compared to Draxes. The plan is Draxes will try to swiftly dispatch the smaller dragon, while Baneryz and Jahiryez stalls the larger dragon until Draxes joins them and they will tear it apart together to not leave any chances.

While Jahiryez and Baneryz faced off Vadar and his dragon, Draeden and Draxes immediately went to rush the smaller dragon and it's rider. Draeden sitting on top of Draxes descends upon the smaller dragon like a hammer on a nail. The smaller wanted to dodge the faster dragon but Draxes' aim was true when the swift dragon closed it's jaws around the smaller dragon's neck. But because of the smaller dragon's dodge and causing Draxes to swiftly manouvre, The bite was not as hard as to snap the entire neck off.

The smaller dragon let out a high shriek of pain and used it's front claws to try and claw Draxes to get away. But Draxes' armour-like-scale held except for a few bruises inside it's scales. Draxes returned the favour and clawed at the smaller dragon with it's sharper and stronger front claws while his jaw never letting go of the neck. At that point, both dragons were falling from the sky, as their front claws that are attached to their wings had stopped flapping and instead were trying to maul at each other.

Draxes' sharp claws managed to puncture the scale of the smaller dragon and it's hot dragon blood poured out of the wounds like a broken dam from it's puntured wounds. The wounded dragon shrieked in pain at the punctured wound. Draeden's heart clenched at the desperate shriek of the majestic craeture. But unfortunately it was an enemy.

Draxes released it's jaws and drew back for a moment only to close it's jaws on the weakened and wounded neck again with it's full strength it's jaws could muster. The dragon's neck was almost entirely chomped off by Draxes. The neck is still only connected by a thin string of flesh and scale while a flood of blood poured out of the shredded wound.

Draeden watched as life left the dead dragon's eye as it fell. The rider screamed as his dragon fell down the sky. A sickening crunch and a ground shaking thump reached their ears as the dragon crushed it's rider as it fell on to the ground on it's back.

Without waiting for the dead dragon to reach the ground, Draeden and Draxes immediately ascend up to join Jahiryez and Baneryz in the fight against Vadar and his large dragon.

A while later, Draeden was relieved to see his two dragons still flapping their wings among the clouds and fighting their larger adeversary.

Vadar Vaethor had never been so troubled before. His dragon was really struggling with the two red and gold coloured dragons. Even though they're smaller, half the size of his own dragon they are a real nail in his boots.

A dragon would attack him on their backs and he would turn his dragon to face the attacking dragon. But once his own mount faces the attacking hostile dragon, another attacks his back.

This made he and his dragon to keep moving and unable to land a kill.

He is certain that if he kills the first, he will be able to kill the second since the two dragons aren't big enough and less stronger than his own dragon. With that thought he ordered his dragon tail swept one of the dragons. While the swept dragon is left to recover, Vadar and his dragon immediately pounce on the other dragon.

The other dragon bursts fire at Vadar and his dragon and they had just barely dodged at the last moment and flew to their right to continue their attack. But the red dragon with It's superior speed flew past under them and re-emerged and pounced on Vadar's dragon back. Vadar's dragon roared in pain at the red dragon's bite.

Before Vadar could react however, the gold dragon that they had swept away before had recovered and also pounced on their backs. This made Vadar's dragon roared in more pain. As Vadar was thinking of a way to lose the two dragons on his back. A large dragon, only a little bit bigger than his dragon attacked them head on. Vadar literally panicked as the large dragon closed it's jaws around his own dragon's lower jaw. Despite the fact that it had missed the neck of his dragon and instead bit the lower jaw, it had still rendered his dragon unable to open his jaw.

While his dragon's jaw was bit by the larger dragon, the two smaller red and gold dragon tried to shread Vadar's dragon's wing to pieces. His dragon wasn't even able to roar in pain in this rampage, as the larger red-gold dragon with black lines between the scales clenched it's jaws tighter around Vadar's dragon.

It was then in the middle that Vadar realised that his brother must have fallen, for the Larger dragon had just been combating his brother and his dragon. A fury burned in Vadar as he thought of the death of both of his brother. During the wrestle of the Large Dragons he realised that a rider was sitting on the assaulting larger dragon.

Realising that in front of him sits the murderer of both his brother, he manoeuvred his already wounded dragon right towards the rival rider. Vadar drew his sword in his Dragon saddle and faced the Rival Rider. He realised that he must be Draeden Draeterys. With the three dragons that have the colours of flames.

Draeden soon found out the presence of Vadar and managed just in time to unsheathe his bastard sword to block Vadar's overhead strike with his right hand on instinct while his left hand held his grip on the reigns of Draxes. This left Draeden at a disadvantage as they fought on Vadar's right with his right sword hand while Draeden fought on his left but his sword in the right hand.

After the initial failed attack, the armoured Vadar thrusts his sword towards the unarmoured Draeden who had not wore any armour due to his quick departure. Draeden using all his speed and flexibility managed to swipe the stabbing sword a side. The swirling and the clanging of Valyrian steel emitted from their duel as they traded blow after blow. Draeden could obviously be seen struggling as he fought his foe on his left side with his right hand.

Sensing his rider's struggle, Draxes twisted his head while his jaw still locking the lower jaw of his rival dragon to turn the dragon right so that Draeden could have a moment of rest. As Vadar lost vision of Draeden and broke the duel from the twisting of the dragons. He impatiently and roughly turned his already seriously injured dragon to the right once again just to face off his rival. But this time Vadar was shocked as Draeden had already changed his bastard sword to his left hand while his right hand clenched his dragon saddle's reign.

As the dragons roared during their fight, so did their riders. The two riders roared as they clash their steel once more. They were now falling as the dragons were no longer flapping as they used their front claws that attached the wings to claw at each other. But still, that did not stop the intense duel between Draeden and Vadar.

Vadar was surprised at how well Draeden had used his left hand. The movement, speed and strength of the left hand was equal to Draeden's right as Vadar tested his rival's left hand that was supposed to be weaker. He had heard the young dragon could dual wield, but he did not think that Draeden could wield his left arm that good.

Frustrated, Vadar put more strength and widened his attacks that didn't even bother to consider his defence. Draeden made good use of the situation and deflected Vadar's attacks and pressed his own assault on with speed.

An over-pasted Vadar realised his disadvantage and immediately reeled back his sword arm from his last wide attack to encounter Draeden's quick attacks once again. But before Vadar could block Draeden's attacks again, he felt a cold sensation breaking in his lips and teeth, the cold sensation ran through his mouth and soon punctured the back of his throat. He soon realized that it was Draeden's bastard sword that stabbed through his mouth and into his throat that went out behind his neck.

Draeden watches as life leaves Vadar Vaethor's eyes. Vadar's body soon realises that the condition he is in and releases his sword from his grip and slumped backwards. Draeden immediately draw back his sword after that

Meanwhile Jahiryez and Baneryz finally tore through the late Vadar's dragon's last string of flesh on its front limbs that connected the leathery wings. Draeden, still on the back of Draxes mentally told them to break off from the falling dragon. They immediately complied and flapped their wings to keep themselves up in the air.

The watch as Vadar's dragon fell down from the air. The dragon screeched in agony while Vadar's body was dangling on its back.

After a while a loud thump could be heard down there, and Draeden and his dragons decided to descend to check on his parents.

Vaella barely dodged the large wingless dragon as it fell from the sky. The wing soon followed its body as they fell down slowly due to the expanded wing.

Vaella looked at the scale of the dragon and was relieved to see the colour of green instead of the colour of Draeden's dragons.

Said rider and dragon descended from the air and landed on solid ground in a clanking thump. Draeden sat straight-backed on the back of his dragon, he looked never more regal and great to all of them as he had just saved their lives.

Looking closely. Vaella could see the damages done to the dragons. Draxes looked relatively unscathed as is expected of the dragon with the most battle experience. Jahiryez and Baneryz were looking quite injured. Although their armoured-scale protected them from any puncturing wounds, although they still suffer blunt damages delivered by that large and stronger dragon.

But they would still live, their bruises will heal in a few days and the dragons have special healing abilities that would fasten their healing.

"We need to retire back to the Fourteen Towers immediately! More will be coming here after they have heard the commotion. Get on the dragons we need to hurry." Draeden said urgently to them on top of his dragon.

They needn't to be told twice as Vaella and Aella climbed atop Jahiryez while Marion climbed on Baneryz. Alaynna though, her expression giddy like a little girl, ran up Draxes' wing to sit behind Draeden in the same saddle.

She pressed her body on Draeden's back, her full breast squeezing against his upper back while Alaynna rested her head on Draeden's shoulder. They sat like a couple in love...at least to Alaynna.

Draeden, who was being rushed by the fast winds and still recovering from the rush of battle while keeping his eye out for any unpleasant surprises, didn't even realise that Lady Alaynna had snaked her hands down below his waist from behind while sneaking a few kisses to his nape and sniffed his pleasant smoky scent from the battle.

They soon reached the Fourteen Towers and were relatively not bothered as the other dragons and their riders were busy killing each other.

In the courtyard, two dozen dragons were seated there to defend their home should anyone dare come and try the Fourteen Tower's defences.

Among those dragons were Aella, Vaella and Marion's dragons. Aella's two dragons, the one with silver and pink scales is called Maerus, named after her brother-husband, while the other with Silver and Gold scales was called Vaelor, named after her sister-wife, Vaella. One of Vaella's two dragons was blue mixed with orange scales called Parzys. While the other has red mixed with purple scales named Blaurys. As for Marion, he had a dragon whose scale was as black as coal and possessed an intimidating green eyes. The dragon was called Aelarr. Except for Aelarr who has no armoured-scale, the other four dragons have half-armoured-scales that cover the entirety of their underside.

Draeden was the first person in almost a century to have hatched fully armoured-scale dragons since his great grandfather when he had hatched Draxes.

The now 97 year old Draxes was the first in a millennium while the 17 year old Jehiryez and Baneryz was the first in a century. That had made any armoured-scale dragons precious since fully armoured-scale dragons were rare. In fact only three remains which are Draeden's.

Draeden along with his parents and Lady Alaynna atop of the dragons, descended on to the cramped courtyard since men were running around and the dragons occupied a lot of space.

As Aella dismounted, Maerus and Vaelor immediately went to nuzzle their head on her in concern. Aella was almost crushed by her dragons in the process of their affectionate nuzzling.

Vaella was met by the sound of her purring dragons. Parzys lowered her head, wanting to earn a pat from Vaella, which she got. While Vaella was patting Parzys, Blourys stretched her head as well, wanting to be patted by Vaella. Amused, Vaella indulged her.

Marion was greeted by the sight of his proud but loving dragon. She tries to look uncaring but the look in her usually menacing green eyes and the waggling of her tail that was similar to a house dog gave out her joy of seeing her ride safe. Marion shook his head in amusement and walked towards her to give her a good pat.

Draxes, Baneryz and Jahiryez were immediately tended to by dragon carers, after that battle they have a few bruises and wounds that need to be tended to.

Draeden gave them the attention they needed to comfort them as they received medical attention.

Gods know how they needed it in the coming struggles they were about to face.

The body of their uncle, Vaerys lay in front of Draeden and his parents. Before they had returned, the commander of The Fourteen Towers had sent a search party for all of them. Since Draeden and his parents had returned they only need to search for Vaerys.

And now here he is...

His body is only covered by a patch of cloth to cover his waist. His body is covered with many, many sword wounds. It was obvious that he went down taking all his adversaries with him as the search party not only found Vaerys and his three dozen of the last of the Blood Guardians, but also hundreds of their enemies.

Vaerys was not just a grand-uncle to Draeden, he was also his first teacher that taught him tactics and strategies, but also his mentor in swordplay.

His long sword and mace lie beside him. Vaerys was the one to teach Draeden to wield two weapons with both hands as it gives an advantage.

Now the former First Sword Of Valyria lays dead, killed by an unnamed band of brigands with a master. Draeden would yell and curse, but not in front of his grand uncle's body.

His mother Aella, sensing his inner turmoil went to give Draeden a needed hug.

"He shouldn't die like this. This is not a death for a warrior of his calibre." Draeden tensed his jaws as he said those words. Aella caressed his back and consoled him "He died protecting us Draeden, his family. But that is all in the past now. We must look into the future." Draeden clenched his teeth and shot back. "How could you say those words! Are we to not avenge him, your own uncle!?" Aella was taken back by her son. Draeden who immediately regretted yelling at his mother who bore and raised him, apologized. "I'm sorry mother, it's just his death is...so sudden. I didn't mean to yell at you or question you." Aella nodded and continued her caress after being stopped when Draeden raised his voice. " It's fine my sweet, I understand, we will avenge him. But we cannot let hate cloud our judgement." Draeden understood her reasoning, to not let our feelings guide us. But he just can't help it.

"You are young, I understand your emotions. I was like you when I was young. I too often let my own feelings guide me. But always remember that sometimes your personal feelings will lead to your destruction." Draeden nodded at his mother's wise words. Aella then turned Draeden's head so that he looked her straight in her eye. Then she asked him a very important question. "What will you do next? What is your goal? What is your ambition?"

Draeden answered his mother without averting his eyes. "I will make sure house Draeterys comes on top after this. I will bring our house to higher heights that no one has ever dreamed." Aella chuckled bitterly. She somehow felt and was sure that no one will come on top after tomorrow. " I know my sweet, I have no doubt you will lead us to a greater path...but what IS YOUR DREAM and AMBITION. Not for our house, but for you?"

Draeden averted his eyes at that and answered "I...I don't know." Aella chuckled softly at Draeden's uncertainty and said with utmost certainty to Draeden. "Oh my sweet boy, If you can dream for yourself then you will be an unstoppable force." Draeden didn't understand that, but he will try.

Vaella stepped forward and put a hand on Draeden's shoulder, "We will avenge Uncle Vaerys, we all love him dearly, but your mother is right, we must not let our hatred cloud our judgement or we will befall Vadar Vaethor's fate." Marion nodded and said "We will discuss the plans later, for now...let us mourn." Everyone nodded at that and circled Vaerys to say their goodbyes to him.

Draeden, his family...and the Lady Alaynna are in the meeting chamber to discuss the next move. "We need information, much information about what is happening outside, not only that but we also need information about their numbers, strength, position, strategy and most importantly, about their dragons." Lady Alaynna broke the silent fist as she stood behind Draeden instead of sitting in the chair far away from Draeden.

Vaella nodded but questioned, "And how will we get it, are you willing to help us? and after that what are you going to do next? To return to your own compound or stay here?" Lady Alaynna laughed and answered. "OH I am not going anywhere without my future husband, and most importantly, I will only give you information WHEN Lord Freeholder Marion agrees to the betrothal OFFICIALLY." Vaella and the others sigh. They can't threaten her to give information without angering her and her family, besides they need more allies.

Marion was thinking hard, he didn't want his son to marry a woman that was old enough to be his son's mother. And a madwoman at that. But they do need their support. They can't risk making another enemy since the entire struggle between the Lords Freeholders was basically a free for all.

Aella was not concentrating on this meeting. Marion looked to his beloved sister-wife to see her chewing on her finger nails and thinking about something. 'She needs me, and I need her.' thought Marion. Before he could do anything however, Draeden stood up.

"I accept your proposal, Lady Freeholder Alaynna of The House Voraegon. " That shot many surprised faces to all the members of this meeting. Vaella most of all, despite the shrewd side of her wants to agree to Lady Alaynna, the mother side of her didn't want her sweet boy to wed that older mad woman. And the mother side of her won. She immediately protested" No, There is no way my son will wed this-" Vaella was interrupted by Draeden as he spoke once again.

"I appreciate your concerns mama Vaella, but this is a time where we need more power and allies. This marriage will give us both." Vaella wanted to retort, but before she could do that, Marion asked. "Is that what you really wanted my son?" Marion asked with his eyes directly looking at Draeden's. Draeden returned that gaze and answered. "For house Draeterys I do." Marion sighed and said"Very well."

Vaella sighed in disappointment. As for Lady Alaynna, well to her, Draeden's words were a romantic declaration to tell his parents who deny them their love that they will marry no matter what but using family duty as an excuse. Lady Alaynna almost fainted that moment, but she held on because knowing there were still blithering fools to eliminate before their marriage.

Alaynna grabbed a hold of herself and said "Then I will have the spies to report to The Fourteen Towers, you will have the eyes and ears of Valyria in your service in a short amount of time, but the letters need to be sent to inform them." With that Lady Alaynna bowed formerly and after rising up, she bent down again so that her face was facing Draeden's and gave him a fierce and passionate kiss.

Draeden was shocked wide-eye while Lady Alaynna violated his mouth with her tongue to taste his sweet and WONDERFUL taste. Vaella coughed with anger and irritation, Lady Alaynna pulled back, saliva still connected lip to lip. "I'll be back my love." Alaynna said to a still wide eyed Draeden and left the room.

A worried Vaella asked her son" Are you sure about this my son?" Draeden nodded and replied to her "I am mama Vae, I will do my duty for the future of this house." Vaella sighed but nodded "Sometimes I wished I never planted that sense of duty in you." Draeden smiled and resumed the meeting.

"For now though, I believe we should do nothing." That raised all of the eyebrows in the room except for Vaella. Marion bewildered, asked his son "Why?" Draeden slowly replied so that they could take in his next words. "All the houses in the city are currently now fighting against each other, As time grows, the fighting will increase and their numbers and dragons will diminish, so will their will and strength. If we strike now we will strike only the full force, if we wait and strike later, we will only face a weakened opposition." Many of them nodded in understanding while Vaella smiled.

"But we also need information to execute this plan, that is where our ally, Lady Alaynna of house Voraegon can help, she owns the largest spy network, we will need to use it wisely, while making sure that the houses are constantly fighting each other instead of allying together." Draeden added. As the weaker their enemies become, the easier it will get.

Vaella asked a question that sprang up into her mind. "And the army from the fortress of Tyria"? Draeden smirked and answered "I propose that the army wait at a distance from the city that is out of sight from any person. The other houses will be too busy to notice the army's presence, and when the time is ripe, we will summon them into the city and strike." Draeden looked around and asked his father and Lord Freeholder. "Father, do you agree with this plan"? All heads turn towards Marion for an answer. Marion answered with a nod of his head.

Draeden returns the nod. Marion stood up followed by everyone including Aella who was brought back to attention from the commotion. "Well then, at the meantime heighten the securities for any idiots who are stupid enough to try and take the most defended place in the entire city." The occupants laughed in agreement.

That is because the Fourteen Towers has the greatest defences in The city of Valyria. There is an almost impenetrable Barbican that houses the first main gates and connected the first of the three layers of walls with a bridge. All three layers of outer walls that are built with Dragon stone in the Classic Valyrian Fortress style. They are each 10 meters wide. The outermost layer of the wall is ten meters tall with many dozens of smaller Valyrian defensive towers with ballistas on top of them. Outside of the outer wall are wet moats filled with slippery mud and unsanitary water piked with rusty spikes.

Behind the first layer of wall is the 20 meter tall second layer wall. It also has dozens of smaller Valyrian towers with catapults on top.

And the last layer of the wall is 30 meters tall. Similar with the shorter two walls they also have dozens of similar styled towers but with Trebuchets.

Each entrance through the walls are complicated so that attackers can't find them easily. While being rained by archers and boiling tar from above If they were beneath the walls. Not to mention the strong gates built with Valyrian steel.

So it is quite stupid if you did attack the castle.

Aella had never been so mortified before as she looked into the fire for an answer to her anxiety, all she could see was fire. Not in the fire itself that she saw fire. But all she could see was Valyria on fire and the Fourteen Flames all exploded one by one...and soon, all of the fires under the entirety of Essos.

That means her family and beloved son will all burn. No! she could not let that happen.

Aella immediately sprinted through the corridors to find Marion.

She had to let the man she loves know of this, he will have a plan! He MUST have one!

Marion was in his study, going through the parchments that had piled up during the Grand Council. Having so many holdings and businesses have a downside which is the time you have to spend to manage them.

Marion sighed and as he put a piece of parchment on a neat pile of completed parchments.

He was about to pick up another piece when a troubled-looking Aella barged in. She immediately threw herself into Marion's arms after he stood up to greet her.

Aella shook in his embrace, but there were no tears. Only fear and dread was there to let Marion feel. He slowly and softly comforted her and asked" My love...shhhh...shhhh...shhhh what is it, my love." Aella still clung into him for a while and slowly lifted her head up to meet his purple eyes with a gold rim.

She shook as she told him what she had seen. "A city, melted down by the same fires that gave warmth to it, a whole land torn apart by the same flames..." She said with shaky breath but with no stutter. No, She can't stutter now. Marion asks her as he is puzzled. "What are you talking about?" Aella this time answered more clearly.

"Daenys was right, Marion. I saw it in the flames. Valyria will be destroyed. A DOOM!! It will send a Shockwave through all of our side of the world and destroy it! Our Sweet boy will die Marion!!" Marion was surprised at his beloved's words but tried to remain skeptical. "Hush It's just a vision, my love, they are never always true."

Tear was now running freely down Aella's face, she didn't know why it would matter in the face of full destruction. But she couldn't help it. She sobbed as she replied to Marion's denial.

"Why *sobs* do you *sobs* think the High Keeper *sobs* called the great *sobs* council, he knew...*sobs*. Marion felt a sense of dread that rose up in him and felt shivering cold. He whispered "The sealed caverns of liquid fire..."

Aella nodded while still sobbing. Marion was panicking inside but he didn't show it. But why would a seal cavern cause such a thing!? Marion was confused, perhaps Aella's DOOM and the sealed caverns are related.

Marion wished he knew how to undo this, but he couldn't. He then asked Aella softly. "Do you know what to do?" Aella, her sobs lessened and answered. "No, but I thought *sobs* you have a *sobs* plan. But I have *sobs* prepared for the Vaults."

Marion nodded and is still holding her while telling her softly. "Looks like you have more of a plan than me". Aella slapped his chest softly and said. "Shut up." Marion chuckled bitterly but continued. " We're still not sure if it is real, even if it is we don't know when it will happen."

Vaella nodded in his embrace and replied. "We should put Draeden, Vaella and your things in there first, just in case." Marion nodded but he stopped and tensed as he soon realised what was missing in her sentence. He pointed out immediately while pulling her even closer. "What about you, Aella?"

Aella smiled bitterly in Marion's chest and replied. " There is something I will have to do so that all of you may live." Marion immediately released her and cupped her cheeks and turned her head until her red eyes with a gold rim were staring directly into his own purple with a similar gold rim.

"No! I will join you! If we are to sacrifice for our family, we will do it TOGETHER!!!" Marion unconsciously raised his voice desperately when pleading to Aella. Aella smiled at Marion and intertwined their hands. " Are you sure, my love?"

Marion looked her in the eye and answered as truthfully as he could muster." I will travel and dwell in all the hells just for you and our family." Aella smiled wider and embraced him. "Then let us face it together, my love. For Vaella and Draeden."

Draeden is standing on a balcony high up in the main tower. It was a weird sight to say the least. A few streets burning under the beautiful evening sky was just a sad sight.

He was soon distracted from the view by the sound of a foot step. He turned around to see Lady Alaynna Voraegon. She approached him with her hands behind her and a genuine smile on her Mysteriously beautiful face.

Draeden greeted her with etiquette as befit her title. "My Lady Freeholder, I see you are back again." Lady Alaynna's smile widens as she hears his greeting. She gave him a quick peck on his cheeks then his lips before greeting him properly. "Greetings to you too my love, why of course I am here, I can hardly breathe when I am not in your distance."

Draeden nodded and Lady Alaynna continued. "You should call me with something else more intimate, my intended. We are to be married soon, there is no need to be so proper." Draeden thought for a moment and called her "Layna, can I call you Layna?"

Alaynna nodded eagerly with a girlish grin and blush. She was delighted with the prospect of her love to address her in such an intimate fashion. But her lovely blush soon turned into worry as Draeden looks like he is troubled.

So Alaynna decided to ask the love of her life what was of the matter that bothered him. " My love, what is it, you look quite troubled. Are you worried about the struggles to come?"

Draeden nodded and answered her "Mayhaps, but it feels like there is something else amiss. And I don't like it." Alaynna nodded and held Draeden's hand tightly and assured him. "Together, we can conquer anything."

Draeden nodded, grateful for her consolation, he took her other hand with his free hand as well. If he is going to wed her then he might as well try to make it a happy one.

Alaynna was over the moon at his touch, OHHHHH, his warm and firm hold shot a pleasuring shiver through her. She then rested her head comfortably on Draeden's shoulder.

But that still didn't remove the unknown feeling of trouble from Draeden. But he still held Alaynna close to him letting her know he is grateful for her comfort.

Vaella watched as Draeden and Lady Alaynna entered the dining hall together, hands holding each other. Vaella didn't like the woman, but if Draeden is willing to try to make it a happy relationship then Vaella will also try to accept Lady Alaynna.

They took their seats on the table, Vaella nodded as Alaynna sat beside Draeden. Although Vaella was sat directly on the opposite side of the couple. Her mind was currently too busy to observe their actions.

She is planning to ask the FACELESS MEN to perhaps eliminate some important enemies.

Some Years ago, a group of assassins came to the Great Council to petition for their support and permission to build a base of operations at Valyria.

Many Lords Freeholders denied them entry because they believe their religion was a cult. They called the faceless men's god, The Many Faced God A Heathen God. Even though the Valyrian Religion accepted other religions, they believed the Many Faced God an evil god. But it was mostly an excuse to not offer help to them as they were too busy using their resources against each other.

Except for one Lord Freeholder, Marion gave them permission and offered them protection, a plot of land and building materials.

The assassins thanked Marion and promised them eternal loyalty to their house.

'Perhaps now is a good time to call upon them.' Vaella thought silently to herself. If they were to gain the support of the Faceless menthey would be unstoppable. They also have a vast network of spies, only second to Lady Alaynna's to 'smoothen' their work.

Vaella was brought out of her thought when both sweat drenched Aella and Marion entered the hall. Marion sat on the head seat while Aella sat on Marion's right, next to Vaella.

Vaella immediately thought that they had some 'fun' or 'quick tumble' before the meal. She smirked as she looked at them and remembered the few times they shared before meals.

Later that night, Vaella would realise that they were not doing what she thought they were.

Marion looked around the table and on the left side of the table saw Draeden on his left and sat beside Lady Alaynna, he nodded and hoped that their relationship will be as happy and loving as his own.

He looked to his right and saw his two beautiful sister-wives. He loved both of them. Aella came into this world with him, they were literally born to be together. Vaella, although not his twin, still loved her with all his heart. Although she was strict and serious at times, but at the right moments she was gentle and loving.

He realised now that he has such a loving family. He frowned a little bit, if what his wife said was true, then this family will be separated. He had to sacrifice himself with Aella. That is because 'Only death can pay for life.' Marion looked at Draeden sadly, he was proud of what his son has become. He IS the future of his house.

He then looked at Vaella, his sweet Vaella. She is intelligent, extremely so. With her help, Draeden will push their house to higher heights.

Marion was pulled out of his thoughts when Aella spoke. "A prayer to the gods before dinner shall we?" They held each other's hands and prayed. Aella instead of thanking for the meal, prayed to the god of magic, Vhagar for guidance. She hoped it would work, she would do anything for her boy and sister

After dinner, Draeden sat in one of the chambers, it was filled with various instruments. Draeden had always liked music, but he never had the time to learn and master a certain instrument because of his studies and duties.

But he really enjoyed listening to music. There is no play tonight due to the civil war outside. But he liked to come here to clear his mind.

So many had happened in a span of a few months. Coming back from Qarth, attending the great council and now...whatever this is. The 17 year old Draeden was really troubled.

But he really needs to figure out something so that his family and allies are to survive this. But other than that, there is this feeling deep beneath him telling him that something is wrong. Something that no man can stop. And these two thoughts clashed in his mind. And they clashed harder in Draeden's mind when he's alone.

Unable to clear his mind, Draeden sighed and left. He made his way to his chambers, he was extremely tired after flying to Tyria and back to The City again. It certainly didn't help when he battled the Vaethor brothers and their dragons.

That is why Draeden was going to get a good, GOOD bath and try to get some rest and hopefully a good sleep. He asked some servants to prepare a wooden tub and warm water in his room as he is too tired and lazy to make it to the bath cambers.

It was already quite late. So when the water was warm, he immediately hopped in the tub. The water was filled with ointment and spices with wonderful fragrances. It serves to sooth both his body and mind.

He really wanted to sleep in the tub that was filled with that relaxing water, but as the waters got lukewarm Draeden reluctantly got up from the water and dried himself with a towel.

He dropped the towel after he deemed himself dried enough to go to bed. He climbed on his bed and was thankful to not see his betrothed on it. Alaynna had retired for the night in her assigned chamber after dinner. But before she entered her room, she made sure to give Draeden a deep and passionate goodnight kiss.

After that, which Draeden went to the instrument chamber.

He laid his head on his feather-stuffed pillow and closed his eyelids. After an eventful and tiring day, sleep took Draeden into its arms. Draeden fell into a dreamless sleep due to his weariness.

A few hours later, while Draeden was still in his blissful sleep. The fighting in the city had escalated and gone more aggressive.

Steel clang in the air while the women begged for the raping men to pull out from them.

It was a gruesome sight to see indeed. The streets were set ablaze as the widows and mothers were raped right on top of their husbands or children's corpses. The robbing and stealing had gone out of control with the greed of men.

The lust-filled soldiers searched for their next victims to sate their lust. While the envious soldiers try to kill each other to determine who will get to have a rough go at the victim women.

The proud men boasts about how many people they have killed, raped and how much gold they have taken.

The slothful and craven guards hid in their barracks as they witnessed all the chaos around them.

The wrathful people who had to endure the rampaging soldiers fought back with rage but were unmatched to the well-trained and well-equipped soldiers.

The soldiers continued their murder, rape and pillaging to fill their insatiable lust for gold, women and inflicting death.

But they will face the reckoning they have deserved. The fate of the Valyrians have been sealed the day they had sealed the lava within the volcanoes. They will be sent into the hell that they have created with their own greed.

Finally, outside of the city, after 13 years of accumulating the liquid fires to the brim. All of the Fourteen Flames erupted in fury at the foolish men. Whether guilty or innocent they will wipe out all in their path. The lands shook first to signal the lava deep in the volcanoes. The land shook so strongly that the mountains around the Fourteen Flames crumbled.

After a moment of ground shaking, the high and large mountains of the Fourteen Flames all let out a large 'BOOM'! and the liquid fires called lava flowed out while the earth continued to shake.

Other smaller volcanoes deep in the earth had all erupted as well. It shall cause a chain eruption to the volcanoes in the entire Peninsular of Valyria and soon, all of ESSOS.

Draeden was shaken awake by the large shaking of the tower. He immediately dressed himself up after rushing up from his bed. He went to search for his swords, but when he reached the sword racks they were not there.

His first thought was that they were kept somewhere in his room after the battle. He immediately rushed in front of a trunk. But when he opened it, he was shocked once again as it was empty.

Every single one of his trunks were empty as he opened all of them. He immediately went to the front of the wardrobe and opened it. He was mortified to see that all his belongings are gone.

Draeden's attention was soon taken to his door as it burst open to reveal a panic looking Aella.

I apologise if this was out later than usual, a lot has been going on recently, so i need more time to write it. And the future updates will be more than likely to be released late.

Well, the sins of men has finally awaken the wrath of The Earth. I have made a bit of myth to this. Hopefully, You will see it in the next chapter . I tried to list all the seven sins in the crimes of men though. Hope you guys like it.

I really wanted to write more about Vaerys. I have made quite a backstory for the man.

But unfortunately this is not a story about him. So, My Lords and Ladies, until next time.
