Invisible Ties

Chapter 28

authors note : Thank you my readers.

I appreciate you sharing how much you loved the therapy session. I really wanted the Scott kids to openly express themselves. And i assure you. Alaska will be no different.

"You heard what Trudy said Allie. You need to be honest and open with you're dad." Brooke insisted. Looking to her daughter.

Alaska took a breath and looked to her father.

"I used to miss and love you so much."

"But i don't anymore and i don't think anything you say or do is going to change that." Alaska admitted.

...

"It was then in that moment i saw my father cry."

"Hearing his children reveal how his choices caused damage to our view of him and the relationship we once shared had broken him." Alaska explained.

The therapist looked to the teenager.

"What happened then Alaska.?" The therapist asked.

Alaska sighed deeply. "My mother loved him. In a way i still can't grasp. She was willing to go through therapy with him as a couple."

"It seemed to be working. Slowly. With effort from both sides."

"For a few months. We got to found our way as a family again."

"And then everything changed. Peyton got out of the facility." Alaska began to explain.
