Law of the Gods.

"In that case, I'm pleased to inform Lux that there will be no need for my student to be killed" - Irelia said with her eyes closed, as Lux kept her gaze on her.

"You may argue in his favor all you want, old friend, yet the other Gods know that the dangers of another one like Talon are too great to ignore them, and I'm confident you do as well" -

"He will be different" -

"Is that so? Then tell me, Irelia, look me in the eye and tell me with all the confidence and trust in the world, that he won't turn out like Talon did, that Morgana won't corrupt him like she did to Talon" -

Irelia wanted to deny Lux. She wanted to be sure that she would be able to stop him from falling to Morgana and the Enduring Sword yet… She couldn't. She knew that the lust for power that the weapon gave could prove too much against even the mightiest of warriors.

"I thought as much. I know you care for him, but if the possibility is there, we can't ignore it" - Lux then placed her hand on Irelia's shoulder.

"We can't, but…" -

"But what?" -

"You said that they would only kill him. Should he get out of control, right?" -

"Yes, that's what the others agreed upon" -

"In that case, I suggest you remove that agreement, since I won't allow him to become like Talon" - Irelia said with a sudden surge of confidence that even had Lux surprised.

"My, you're really putting all your trust in this human" -

"The Enduring Sword could be a valuable asset to us all, especially if the Lunar Wraiths do end up breaching our reality. Should we combine the strength of a well-trained user of the weapon alongside the Heaven's, we could easily turn the tides against them" -

"As expected from Irelia, always thinking ahead" - Lux said with a smile - "In that case, I suggest you go searching for Jax, he might be able to help" -

"You're joking right? Jax has been in exile for hundreds of years, no one knows where he is" -

"No one but the Lunar Goddess" - Lux answered with a mischievous smile - "And by association, the Lunar Empress" -

Irelia gave her a simple yet somewhat irritated look, as many others thought that Jax, the wielder of one of the most powerful weapons in Heaven, was dead, and that caused quite a bit of revolt amongst the Gods.

"Don't you think that hiding his location and not telling others is what caused the current detriment in the Heavenly Kingdom?" -

"I'm well aware of that Irelia, but understand that he himself asked me personally, since he felt like he needed more training to better protect Heaven, and didn't want to be disturbed" -

"Jax never changes, always looking for more and more training" -

"He reminds me a bit of a younger you, Irelia. Didn't you say years ago that you wanted to be just like him?" -

"Th-That was years ago Lux. I don't see how that's important right now" - she answered with a slight blush on her face.

Before the two could continue speaking, they turned to look at the bright moon in the night sky. In a mere second, the white glow of the full moon turned into a ghastly and dark shine, a single moment that for the two, felt like an eternity. Their previously jokey and happy attitudes changed into a serious gaze.

"The night has been getting colder for a few months now" - Lux said as she got up and faced the night sky - "The Lunar Wraiths are slowly breaching the barrier to our world" -

Irelia wasn't used to seeing Lux in such a state. They regarded Lux as a bright sun amongst the Gods, but this face of her was one that only a few people have ever seen. Now, she wasn't only serious. She feared what could come to pass, a full scale invasion from the wretched Lunar Wraiths.

"Irelia, I suggest you and your student begin moving at the first hour of the morning" - she said in a serious tone - "You'll need to reach Jax as soon as possible" -

"With pleasure, just hand over the location and we'll be there soon enough" -

Lux then materialized a map on her hands, with exact coordinates to the location of the wielder of the God Staff before being surrounded by a golden light.

"Good luck, dear friend. I hope that we see each other soon" -

Lux disappeared from the spot, and she left Irelia alone with the map and an obvious goal: find Jax, the God Staff. His training, combined with hers, would give Ritsuka the skill to fight the Lunar Wraiths should their invasion come to pass.

However, she also knew that it would take a long time before the Wraiths could fully breach the barrier between the worlds, and there was the chance that Fujimaru would've already fulfilled his training by then, which brought Irelia back to the promise she made to him.

Once his training is done, he will return to his world.

They couldn't afford to lose such an important asset like the Enduring Sword, which meant that no matter what, he couldn't go back to that 'Chaldea' that he called home. He needed to stay by their side, prepared for whatever might come to pass.

"I'll have to say it to him when he wakes up…" - Irelia said as she turned to the village, all of them now sleeping peacefully, including her student - "He might not like it, but it's what's necessary to ensure our victory" -

/Far away from the village…/

A lone warrior laid under a waterfall, meditating and contemplating the current state of the world, one that was slowly losing its balance. One that, if not properly mended, would soon fall.

"It's been a long time, hasn't it, Jax?" - a voice spoke from outside the waterfall, distracting the warrior.

"Indeed, it has…" - he answered simply, not leaving his position - "What do you seek of me, Diana?" -

"I doubt I need to explain, old friend" -

"You want my help to deal with the Lunar Wraiths, don't you?" -

"I'm glad we're on the same page, but it's not the only thing I wanted to ask of you" -

"Hm?" -

"Centuries ago I saved your life from dying at the hands of Sylas, and since then you've been in my debt. Well, I've come to claim it" -
