My butt hit the mat as I panted before looking up to see Jaune standing in front of me and breathing heavily. I could feel the sweat run down my face as I breathed deeply before letting out a tired sigh. I would have never known that Weiss could be such a Drill Sargent regarding training. God, it has only been four days since I came to this world and I already felt like I was going to die from the training. I blinked as a hand crossed my face, and I looked up to see that Jaune was trying to help me. I slapped that hand away from my face, as I got up by myself before I went to get some water.
I wiped my face with a towel before I started to drink the glorious thing called water. I would have never known how good water could taste great before I trained my ass off to be the blue power ranger. I knew that the training would be hard, but Weiss was training us like we were going to war in a few days.
"Great job you two." I heard a feminine voice come from a few steps away from me, and I turned to see Weiss walking toward us I noticed the disheveled-looking RJ as he was walking behind Weiss. "You both have been doing great these past days, you two have exceeded the expectations I and RJ set for you two." RJ nodded behind her, before stepping forward.
"Yeah, both of you seem to be rather good when it comes to fighting with hands instead of weapons." Everyone looked to Jaune who slumped down, before RJ continued to talk. "Jaune you seem to almost have the perfect body for your animal spirit, you are strong, faster than the average person with zero training, and you think very fast." Jaune seemed to preen at the praise. "Jack, you are stronger than the average person, but you are slow when it comes to attacking, but you know how to fight dirty."
"I can fight dirtier than what I'm doing right now, but I don't want to hurt Jaune too badly." I said to him while Jaune looked scared for a second. Both RJ and Weiss looked uncomfortable about the admission but I couldn't understand why, before I looked over to Jaune, and I understood why. Jaune's eyes were covered in my blood, I had taken a knife and cut myself just before our spare so that I could blind him in the middle of the sparring session. I looked down at my hand which was still bleeding before I went to fix it up.
I guess that after seeing me throw my blood at a person they would be uncomfortable with me. Once the band-aid was covering my bleeding hand, I looked back to see Weiss and Jaune still watching me. Ever since I told Weiss the lie about the three teenagers and why I got into a fight with them, Weiss and Jaune have been watching me like a hawk. RJ was the only one who knew what happened and I still have no idea how he knew.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as Jaune asked Weiss a question. "How come you are the only one that gets to spare with RJ?" I turned around to look at them.
"It's because I'm the only one of us three that have seven years of experience fighting, and that's why I'm the only one fighting RJ." Weiss said before RJ cut in.
"And the two of you are great partners for each other." Jaune and I looked confused before RJ went into details. "Jaune you are too aggressive when it comes to fighting against your opponent, you need to be calmer. Like I have said before, your animal spirit doesn't get its strength from power but speed, so you need to be calm-headed. From what I have seen from Jack, he is very calm-headed and you can take to learn that from him, and while Jack can take note of your aggression." RJ explained to us.
"So we are basically each other's opposites." I asked and he just nodded. "Why does he get to be handsome while I'm ugly." I said jokingly, but Jaune seemed to blush up a storm. I looked at him confused before Weiss coughed to get our attention while Jaune was still blushing.
"On to more important matters." Weiss said before she looked both of us in the eyes. "We need to start coming up with team choreography fight moves." I let out a tired sigh.
"Can't we do that later?" I said, not looking forward to some more training. Weiss sent me a glare before I hide behind Jaune, and Jaune seemed to blush even more when I did so.
"No, we can't wait with it because we don't know when the Rinshi warriors will attack again so it's better to be prepared than unprepared." Weiss said in a rather lecturing tone of voice. "And I have already put this off for a while because we were new to this city and given your circumstances." Weiss pointed toward me, and I knew what she was implying. "So stop complaining and let gets to work." I groan before I did what she told me.
A few hours later and sore muscles I was finally done with training and was currently walking down the street. I was looking for a shady place where I could drink some alcohol or more particularly, vodka. As I was walking down the street, I couldn't help but feel like someone was watching me. I turned my head around to see a pair of wolf ears poking out of an alleyway. From what I could make out, the person with the wolf ears had long black hair, was light-skinned, had brown eyes, and looked to be about seven years old. It seem like the little girl hadn't noticed that I had noticed her before I turned and started to walk again.
As I was walking down the street, I couldn't help but wonder why the girl was following after me. I started to walk faster before I turned into an alleyway, and began to climb the side of the building. I stared down at the ground for a few seconds before the Faunus girl came looking for me. I could see her looking around in confusion before I jumped down and landed behind her. The girl let out a terrified scream before falling down to the ground. I stared at her in much amusement before I knelt down to look at her.
"You aren't very good at this, are you." I asked her while still finding everything very amusing. The girl seemed to flush with embarrassment as she looked at me, and I looked at her. "What's wrong wolf got your tongue." I said, trying to get a rise out of her, and this time she glared at me for the comment.
"That's racist." She said in a deadpan tone of voice.
"So what." She looked confused. "Are you going to complain or cry about it? Or would you rather Ignore the racist comment because you know that it isn't true?" I asked her, and I could see her thinking it over. After a while of me just watching her thinking over what I just said, I decided to help her a bit.
"Let me give you an example." Once I said it, all of her attention went to me. "You have two people in this world, people who don't care what others think of them, and people who care what people think about them. Who do you think lives a better life."
"The people that care what people think of them, because they can use it to better themself and be a better person." She said and I just hummed at that.
"You are not wrong but the person that doesn't care what people think of them can also do that, and they don't feel angry when a person says something mean. So I think the person who doesn't care what people think of them lives a better life because of it. They are not bound by other people's thoughts about them, and they don't make Irrational or reckless decisions because of what a person said to them." A smile came to my face. "So are you bound by other people's thoughts of you or are you not?" I could see that she was mulling it over.
As I was looking at her, I could see my younger sister in her appearance. The same skin tone, the same black hair, and the same eye color. The only difference was the personality and height of the two, with this girl being taller than my sister. I noticed that she was blushing pretty hard, and it was from me staring at her for a while. "Do you have your answer?" She nodded.
"I will be a person not bound by other people's thoughts or opinions of me." She said, her voice full of determination. "No matter what someone says about me, I will not even look at them." I smiled at her.
"Great what's your name." I could feel my world was broken into pieces and she said her name.
"I'm Luna Silva."
"You kidnapped a child." Those were the first words that came out of Weiss's mouth as I walked in with Luna beside me. After hearing her last name, I decided to take her with me to RJ's place, while trying to figure out what was going on. That turned out to be a very bad idea because Weiss was staring daggers at me.
"I didn't kidnap her, I only took her with me to meet other people." I tried to explain it away, but it only got worst.
"You are literally describing yourself taking a child with you, without the parent's permission." Luna decided to try and be helpful.
"I don't have parents they were killed, I only have a big brother around seventeen, so technically, he kidnapped an orphan." I have never before felt so scared in my life as of right now.
"You and me, back room, talk alone." I didn't have time to answer before she took a hold of me and left Luna with Jaune. Luna looked at Jaune and Jaune looked down at the child while they could hear the screams that Weiss let out.
"So what's your name." Jaune said, trying to start a conversation before he took a sip of water.
"Luna Silva." Jaune spat out the water so fast before he began to choke. Jaune started to bang his chest before he looked at Luna with wide eyes. "That's kinda funny because the other dude had almost the same reaction but he curse a lot more." She said while Jaune still was trying to wrap his head around what he heard. How could this Faunus child have the same last name as the resident asshole known as Jack? It didn't make any sense.
"T-that a-a lovely name." Jaune manage to say as he stuttered it out.
The girl seems the blush at the compliment. "Thanks." She said before she gave a big smile at Jaune and Jaune himself couldn't help but also smile. Both of them turned their head to the sound of a bang before they saw a still-mad Weiss and a half-dead Jack walking toward them.
"I'm so sorry that our friend took you." Weiss said softly as she knelt down to the girl, and since when has Weiss ever talked softly to anyone?
"Why are you talking so softly to the animal and not your teammate." I asked her before she turned around to face me.
"Because she is not some idiot person that goes around taking children with them." She said with a pleasant smile, so I took a step back in fear. "Now please go away and let the adult in the room talk to the probably terrified out of her mind, little girl." That kind of hurt my pride when she tried to wave me away.
"I'm not terrified since he looks like my older brother." Luna said as she pointed toward me before all of us froze in shock. "That only thing that is different is that he doesn't have wolf ears as my brother does." What in the actual fuck is going on. For the first time since I came to this world, Weiss seemed to be at a loss for words.
"Y-y-your b-b-brother." Weiss somehow manage to say while she looked at me with paler-than-normal skin. I shook my head wildly, trying my best to deny any fact that I knew about this. "May I ask where your brother is?" Luna started to think it over as none of us could move.
"I don't know, he went missing about four days ago." All of us came to the same conclusion, the day I came to this world, her brother was gone. I was trying my best to stay calm, but I was failing at it and it seems like the same could be said for Jaune and Weiss. "Why are you all acting so weirdly." The Faunus girl said as none av us were acting normal.
"Is everyone okay?" I looked to where the voice came from, and just to see RJ. I took a hold of him before I sat him next to Luna.
"Watch her." I said before I grabbed both Jaune and Weiss before we ran upstairs.
"Her animal brother is dead." Those were the first words that came out of my mouth as I scream them out.
"First off would you stop calling them animals." Weiss snapped at me before she let out a sigh. "Second, we don't know if he is dead or alive." I gave her a dumbfounded look.
"Hello, I died, came back to life in this world on the same day her animal brother went missing." I said to her while she glared at me. "And that's not even the worst part, the worst part is that she looked like my own sister."
"Why don't you calm down." Jaune said trying to calm me down, I rounded on him and glared at him.
"You shut the fuck up gay boy, I'm having a mental breakdown." I scream out before I was slapped in the face by Weiss. After I was slapped, I fell surprisingly calm. "Why do I feel so calm after that slap." I question myself while both Weiss and Jaune shrugged.
"Now that everyone seems to be calm, let's talk this through." Weiss gave me a look before she went on. "Let's go over what we do know, what we know is that Jack died and came to our world about four days ago, and at the same time Luna's brother went missing." Both I and Jaune nodded our heads. "On the same day, the three of us met each other, we were told about Dai Shi, we became Power Rangers, and had our first fight against the Rinshi warriors and Rinshi beast warrior and we lost." Weiss said a bit depressed over her loss.
"You didn't have to go over the fact that we lost." Jaune said more depressed than Weiss was, and I couldn't blame him. "So everything happened on the same day, that can't be a coincidence. Whatever higher power is at works it had something planned for us and Luna's brother is a part of it." Weiss and I looked at each other before looking back at Jaune. "I think that we have to do some research about the order of the claws and Dai Shi and his Rinshi warriors." Weiss was the one to cut in.
"But only four people know about the order of the claws, RJ, and the three other masters living in the three other kingdoms." Weiss put a finger under her chin. "We have minimal amounts of pieces of information about this and the only person with the most information is RJ." Weiss finished saying.
"This is turning into a big headache." I said and it seemed like Weiss and Jaune didn't disagree with me. "What was the spirit wildcat thinking, taking three people that don't know each other and trying to make us fight against Salem and Dai Shi? And that is not even the worst thing, I, a person from another world was summoned to help you two in a world where everything is unfamiliar to me. This is turning into almost like a garbage TV show." I said while robbing my forehead, before anyone could do something more, we heard someone running. All of us looked at the sound to see RJ running at us.
"We have a problem." He said before he went to the TVs and turned them on. From what we saw was that Rinshi warriors and Mantor were terrorizing the people of the city. I noticed something, there were people with the weirdly colored outfit and weapons.
"They are Huntsmans and Huntresses." Weiss said in a worried tone of voice, and there was the word again with Huntsmans and Huntresses.
"You three better hurry." RJ said before all of us ran out.
Lisa Lavender is a news reporter for the Vale News Network and was currently running for her life with her cameraman behind her. She looked behind her to see the Huntsmans and Huntresses getting beaten into the ground. How could things turn so bad so fast, she turned to the right to hide behind a car with her cameraman.
"Where are the Power rangers." The monster shouted out as he held a lifeless Huntress body in his claws before throwing her to the ground. The monster suddenly turned its head to face her and Lisa could hear her heart drop down into her stomach. Lisa saw a blue flash before her eyes as it went for a dropkick at the monster but it blocked it. The blue person pushes off the monster before flying back to her and landing on the car.
"I told you not to rush in." The news reporter turned her head to see a woman in red and another guy in yellow. "You know the plan so don't try and mass it up." The red lady said before mister blue turned to her.
"I know, I just want my rematch badly." Blue said.
"I know but keep to the plan, keep the people safe, and take out the Rinshi warriors as fast as you can." The red lady said before Lisa saw her summon a nunchuck. The blue ranger and yellow ranger summon their own weapons. "Hey, monster, you wanted the power rangers, now you have them." Lisa watches as the three individuals ran at the monster.
"You better film this." Lisa said to her cameraman.
The yellow ranger swings his bo staff to the side and hit a Rinshi warrior before swinging it around and slamming it into the face of the same Rinshi. The yellow ranger jumped backward to dodge an attack from two Rinshi warriors before swinging the bo staff hard enough at the two Rinshi warriors and sending them flying back into the air. He ran right at them while they were still in the air before jumping up and slamming the bo staff at them again and slamming them into the ground. A Rinshi warrior ran at him while the yellow ranger let go of the bo staff before letting it fall down. Just when the Rinshi warrior was close, the yellow ranger kicked the bo staff into the air before jumping after and taking a hold of it and swinging it at the Rinshi warrior. The Rinshi warrior was slammed hard onto the ground.
"I guess that I am a natural with the bo staff." The yellow ranger said before running at the rest of the Rinshi warriors
The cameraman turned to face the red power ranger as she was fighting with her nunchuck. She swung the nunchuck backward and slammed it into the face of a Rinshi warrior before she turned back. One Rinshi warrior ran at her before she snapped the nunchuck into the face of a Rinshi warrior before she swung it down at another Rinshi warrior's face. The two Rinshi warriors fall down to the ground from the hits before the red power ranger ran at the other Rinshi warriors. The red power ranger faked a swing with her weapon before doing a spinning kick. A Rinshi warrior threw a punch, only for the red power ranger to grab her weapon her arms, and do a shoulder throw but throwing the Rinshi warrior into the air. She ran at the Rinshi warrior before she did a dropkick to the Rinshi's stomach.
The Rinshi warrior was sent flying before the red ranger landed on the ground. "Why are you guys easier to fight now." The red power ranger said to herself before she shot out.
Lisa couldn't believe what she was seeing, she was seeing a real-life superhero fight against villains and their minions. As she and her cameraman were focusing on the fighting, they never saw the Rinshi warrior coming behind them with a spear. Lisa and her cameraman let out screams of terror as the body of the lifeless Huntress was thrown at them and hit the Rinshi behind them. Both of them turned around to see a few Rinshi warriors before letting out another scream of terror.
"Will you two shut the fuck up?" The blue ranger shouted at them before they close their mouth. "Thank you, now please stay behind me at all times." Both humans ran behind the hero as he was slowly walking up to the Rinshi warriors.
The Rinshi warriors thrust their spears forward at the power ranger as he jumped into the air to dodge the attacks. The blue ranger slammed his leg down at a Rinshi warrior's back as he was still in the air. Lisa could see that the blue ranger's leg was still on Rinshi's back before he kicked up into the air and punched it. The Rinshi flew at another warrior before slamming into it and knocking them both down. A Rinshi warrior tried to go for a slash but the blue ranger move to the side to dodge it. The blue ranger wrapped his weapon around the Rinshi warrior's spear before pulling the Rinshi warrior forward at him and delivering a punch to the face. He jumped back to dodge an attack from a Rinshi warrior.
"What are you two still doing here, run." The blue ranger shouted at Lisa and her cameraman before they did what he told them to do. "Bring it bitches." Those were the last words Lisa could hear.
I ducked under an attack with a spear before I kicked the legs out of the Rinshi warrior that attacked me just now. I spin on my two hands before I kicked the same Rinshi warrior in the stomach and sent it flying backward. I moved my head an inch to the side to dodge a spear aiming for my head before I jumped back a few steps. Two Rinshi warriors came swinging with their weapons at me while I use my own weapon to block their attacks. I notice that the two Rinshi warriors were aiming for two different places. One Rinshi was aiming for my head while the other one was aiming for my legs. Both swung at the same time before I jumped and spun in the air while dodging the two attacks in the middle.
As I landed on the ground, I let go of my weapons before taking a hold of the bottom part and hooking the other part around both Rinshi warriors' necks. I pulled with everything I had and slammed both of their heads into each other. Both of the Rinshi warriors fall down to the ground before I took a hold of my weapon in the usual way. I looked around to see that the Rinshi warriors that I was fighting were all defeated. I unsummoned my weapons before I felt something hard hit me in the head and sent me flying into a building.
I slowly rose from the rubble upon me while glaring through my helmet at the person that hit me. I looked forward to seeing the Rinshi beast warrior in a fighting stance before a hand came in front of me. I looked up to see Jaune, and I let out a sigh before I took a hold of his hand and he helped me up from the ground. Once I was on my two feet, I started to dust myself off before I looked at Jaune.
"What is Weiss doing." I asked him as we were slowly walking toward our mutual enemy.
"Weiss had ordered us to keep him busy while she makes sure the civilians get out of here safely." Jaune said before we both got into a fighting stance. Mantor ran at us before throwing a clawed punch at Jaune while I jumped away. Jaune caught the attack with both arms before the monster went for another attack but I kicked his clawed armed away. I sent out a flurry of punches at the Rinshi beat warrior while he blocked them before throwing a punch. I took a step back from the attack before Jaune kicked Mantor from behind and made him lose his balance. Mantor stumbled before he got his balance right and faced us again. Both I and Jaune split, and I ran straight at Mantor before I got punched in the chin.
"Urgh." I let out a pained sound before Jaune hit the Rinshi in the back of the head. The Rinshi beast warrior's head snapped forward from the attack before I punch it in the face. Mantor's head snapped backward before Jaune lifted his leg up and kicked the monster in the side while he was still behind him. Mantor tried to do a back kick at Jaune but I attacked his stomach which stopped his own attack from landing on Jaune. Mantor swung both his clawed arms and made both Jaune and I jump away from him to not get hit.
"You pesky Rangers will face my wrath." Mantor said in obvious anger as we were kicking his ass. Mantor ran at us and we ran at him. Jaune got ready for the attack that was incoming, only for it to be fake. Mantor spun around to try and hit me while I duck under the attack and kicked his legs out. I looked up to see Mantor getting ready for an axe kick to my head, but Jaune pulled him away. Jaune took a hold of his left-clawed arm before I did the same with his right before we pulled them back. As we were holding on, Mantor somehow pulled us with his strength and slammed our heads into each other. Both of us fall down to the ground in pain, it felt like my head was slipping open.
"I see that you two rangers are still weak to pain." Mantor said as he kick Jaune in the stomach and Jaune let out a pained sound. Mantor was ready for another attack on Jaune before something grabbed a hold of his leg. He looked down to see the blue ranger holding onto him before he saw the blue ranger's arm holding him change color to black. From what Mantor could see, it looked like Iron Dragon's Scales before he was thrown into a building.
"What in the ever-loving fuck is going on." I shouted out in distress from what I was seeing. Both of my arms were covered in what looked to be black Iron Dragon's Scales and I had no idea how to turn it off.
"It's a semblance, you oaf." I looked behind me to see Weiss walking toward us, while I still looked confused. "A "Semblance" is the manifestation of one's innate and personal power as an ability unique to each individual, with the effects varying greatly from user to user. It's like my family the Schnee, our Semblance is about summoning glyphs, and is unique in the fact that it is completely hereditary." Weiss said it like it was obvious and I just played along with it because I didn't want to seem stupid.
"That's good, I guess." Those were the only words that came out of my mouth before I heard an explosion. I could see Mantor walking toward us and the anger dripping off of him was palpable. "Come at me bro." I said as I pulled up my arms and felt rather confident in my new Semblance. I notice that I was no longer covered in black iron Dragon's Scales. "Weiss my powers are gone." I said to her in a whiny tone of voice.
"I explain everything later, right now let's try and stop the monster." I and Jaune nodded before we looked forward to seeing the monster getting bigger and bigger. "Let's run." Weiss said before we turn around and started to run for our life. I looked behind me as we were running before I need to jump to the side to dodge a claw slammed to the ground. I skidded across the street before I began to run again, with Jaune and Weiss not that far behind me.
"How are we supposed to fight him like this?" Jaune shouted out before he jumped to dodge a claw.
"We need a Megazord." I said before I jumped to dodge an attack, and started to run again. Weiss and Jaune looked at me before I went into more detail. "Megazord is a combination of the zord that turns into a big ass robot, that kicks the ass of big monsters." I said.
"And how do we get our zord." Weiss asked but just when I was about to answer her, we all could hear RJ's voice in our helmets.
"Power Rangers do you hear me." All of us answered in the affirmative. "I think that the three of you are ready for the second step in your Power Rangers journey. It's time to go big."
"And how do we go big." Weiss was the one to ask.
"The three of you are like a chair and your team is in balance now." What the fuck does he mean by that.
"I think that I understand." I looked at Weiss in confusion before she started to talk again. "Jaune is the heart of the team because of his kind and honest personality. Jack is the brain because of his extreme knowledge about the Power Rangers." Weiss looked down to the ground before saying in a rather sad tone." But what am I."
Suddenly an idea came to me. "You are strength because it takes a strong will to make the right decision." Knowing that we turned around to face the monster.
"Animal spirits unite as one. Power Rangers, jungle fury." Weiss called out before our animal spirits came out from us and ran into the sky.
"Jungle fury, beast spirits mode." We called out as we jumped into our animal spirits before they turned into a Megazord. We were in a room with a white monk before we looked to see the Mantor in front of us. All of us started to move simultaneously and the Megazord copied our moves.
"You think you can beat me just because you three have a fancy new toy, then think again." Mantor said before he ran at us, but we were ready for the attack he sent out. We slipped under the attack before uppercutting the monster, and Mnator's head snapped up from the attack. As he was disoriented, we did a spinning kick to the face, and he was sent flying. He swung the claw at us but we blocked it with our forearms before closing in for a punch. He somehow hit our punch away but we spun on our feet and landed a backhand to his side.
Mantor back away from us before trying to kick us in the head but we blocked it, before landing a punch to the stomach. Mantor tried to knee us in the stomach since we were so close but we were able to step away from it. He tried again to kick us but we blocked it with our forearms. We went for a punch but the Rinshi beat warrior was able to sidestep it and almost hit us with his claw. Just before he was going to land the attack, we attack with a punch to the chest before we just backward. We followed that up with a kick to the lower part of his leg before delivering a punch to the face and a takedown. The ground exploded when we came upon it and it left the imprint of Mantor's body on the ground.
We had him pinned to the ground before we delivered a flurry of blows to him, but mainly focusing on his face. The more the attack landed on him, the more the ground started to break apart before we delivered a vicious punch and punched his head into the ground. We lifted our fists away from his face before he turned into stone and exploded into tiny pieces.
"Did we kill him?" I was the one to ask that question.
"And that's everything you need to know about Huntsman and Semblance." I nodded at Weiss's explanation as we walked into the Pizza place. After the fight with the Rinshi beast warrior, all of us make our way back to RJ. On our way, I asked Weiss about Huntsman and Semblance, and Weiss explained everything to me.
"Where the hell of you been." I looked down to see Luna glaring at me. "You left me with the weirdo old man." The Faunus girl pointed to RJ who slumped at her words.
"I'm not old or weird." RJ muttered to himself.
"Why do I need to answer to an animal." I glared back at her, and when she heard that she started to glare harder.
"Because you left me with an old man."
"I'm not that old." RJ shouted in anger.
"You are old enough." I and Luna shouted back at him at the same time. He staggered back away from us before looking at Jaune and Weiss while trembling.
"Jaune, Weiss, my two wonderful students, do I really look that old." RJ asked them, and neither one of them was looking at him which cause him to freeze in fear.
"I rather not answer." Weiss said before Jaune followed her lead and also didn't answer him. RJ fell down to the ground with a depressed cloud hovering around him.
"My students are evil." RJ said to himself.
"Suck it up old man" I said to him while my words hit him like a sword to the heart before I turned back to Luna. "And like I said, why does an animal need to know." Instead of answering me, Luna went for a punch to my stomach. A metallic bang could be heard before I looked down to see Luna trembling. The place where Luna punch me was covered in black iron dragon scales, and she took her hand away. Luna looked at her red hand before she started to cry her eyes out.
"Gi Hi Hi Hi." I started to laugh my ass off as she was crying before I got hit in the back of the head by Weiss.
"Stop being mean to the poor girl." Weiss said before she pick Luna up into her arms.
"Why do you always need to hit me, this has to be abuse."
"Because you are bullying a poor girl like Luna"
