Heart to Heart 62: Longing For Home
Participants: Spyro and Cynder
Location: Fountain of Hope
Affinity: Lavender
Introduction
Cynder: So this is Melia's homeland. It's quite beautiful.
Spyro: I honestly couldn't agree more. It honestly kind of reminds me of Warfang.
Cynder: (With something unknown to even her in her voice) I can see the resemblance.
Pass/Pass
Spyro: Is everything okay?
Cynder: (Trying to figure out what Spyro's talking about) Yeah, why?
Spyro: Just something in your inflection caught me off guard.
Cynder: (With a faint smile) You were always good at picking up on stuff like that.
Spyro: So what's up?
Cynder: I guess I'm just a little homesick
Spyro: Hey, I don't blame you, so am I.
Cynder: We've been in this world for months now. Is there even a way back home at this rate?
Spyro: (Throwing a comforting wing over her) I'm sure there is. With all the nonsense the Monado can do, something tells me it might be the thing to do it. No promises on that specific, but I wouldn't be surprised. We're going to get home.
Cynder: (As a tear rolls down her face, placing her head on Spyro's shoulder) Thanks, Spyro. I needed that.
Spyro: Anything for you.

Pass/Fail
Spyro: Is everything okay?
Cynder: (Trying to figure out what Spyro's talking about) Yeah, why?
Spyro: Just something in your inflection caught me off guard.
Cynder: (With a faint smile) You were always good at picking up on stuff like that.
Spyro: So what's up?
Cynder: I guess I'm just a little homesick.
Spyro: Trust me, I want to get home as much as you, but we can't let that distract us.
Cynder: That just hurts, Spyro. I get where you're coming from, there's a mission ahead of us. But, still.
Spyro: (Throws a comforting wing over her) We'll find our way home, we've just got a commitment to finish before we can.
Cynder: (Sighs and silently shrugs off his wing) Agreed. You have a point, but did you need to be so heartless about it?

Fail/Pass
Spyro: Something's wrong, isn't it?
Cynder: What gives you that idea?
Spyro: I can sense it in your voice.
Cynder: It's nothing, Spyro. Honestly. Must've stumbled over my tongue for a second there.
Spyro: (Realizes this is something Cynder just doesn't want to talk about) That must've been it.
Cynder: Wait, did that honestly work? Yeah, everything's alright.
Spyro: But you know if you need to talk anything out, I'm here for you, right?
Cynder: Always.

Fail/Fail
Spyro: Something's wrong, isn't it?
Cynder: What gives you that idea?
Spyro: I can sense it in your voice.
Cynder: It's nothing, Spyro. Honestly. Must've stumbled over my tongue for a second there.
Spyro: No offense, Cynder, but that was the worst lie I've ever heard.
Cynder: Crap. What makes you think I'm lying?
Spyro: I know you, Cynder. I can tell.
Cynder: I think your hearing needs a tune-up. I can tell when I'm lying too, Spyro.
Spyro: (Not wanting to start a fight, but knowing he's right) Okay. We'll leave it at that. For now.
Cynder: By the Ancestors, he's stubborn! What was it that I saw in him again?
