ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Good Housekeeper
After the havoc caused by her brother Shane, Stephanie tries to rebuild the McMahon family name, but the DX family are weary of her intentions and Seth and the God Girls wonder who in the wrestling world they can really trust as they prepare to go to war with Bray Wyatt.
Chapter Nineteen – The Restless
21 Club
Sasha poured herself a glass of water not giving Seth the change to pour it for her. The God Girls were planning the Becky-Finn wedding with ATM and the DX family while Seth and Sasha decided to have breakfast together at the famous celebrity joint in New York City. As usual, the Damsels of Destruction were also dining at the Club this morning. The Damsels were given a heads up that Sasha was back in New York and they got eyes on the Rollins as soon as they saw them. There was tension at the table, Seth had promised ATM and the God Girls that Sasha would not leave to go join her father Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt. The two broods were also in New York City and they weren't alone, as Seth was soon to find out.
"Can I help you boys?" came the unfamiliar voice of Alannah Pirelli, mob heiress and God-daughter of the Rated R Superstar Adam "Edge" Copeland. As per her promise to Stephanie McMahon and Edge, Alannah made sure to be present everytime Shane was in New York. As expected, Shane wanted to confront Seth so he could spend time with his daughter alone.
"Who the Hell are you?" Shane asked Alannah Pirelli who was flanked by her mob associates.
"I'm Alannah Pirelli, your father certainly knows who I am Shane. My family runs New York and my boys are gonna run you out of here if you don't turn around and leave right now," Alannah said and her mob associates sized up with the Hurt Business. Bored with the interaction, Bray Wyatt simply did what he did best when faced with the prospect of a real fight: he used black magic.
Seth looked up seeing that the atmosphere had shifted and he realised they were being watched. If only he could figure out a way to get through to Sasha without getting her anymore emotional; she had been crying all night and all morning.
"Daddy!" Sasha cried out seeing Shane by the door talking to Alannah Pirelli.
Seth tried to quiet her down but she was getting hysterical again, which left Seth with no other choice and he took her to only place he knew where he could calm her down.
Fifteen minutes later…
Sasha exhaled across her husband's open chest as Seth watched the door, hoping they weren't disturbed by anyone who wanted to use the bathroom right now.
"All better?" he asked Sasha as her fingers twisted around his black curls and she gave him a beautiful smile.
"Way better," Sasha replied and she stretched her neck to reach his lips and she gave Seth a long kiss. He turned her towards the stall wall and kissed her deeper, lacing his waist with her open legs.
Moments later they were making love again but outside, all Hell was about to break loose.
"ARGHHH!" Jamie Albright screamed as the restaurant chandelier came crashing down in the middle of the building and the inside of the restaurant turned to black. The patrons ran out in fear but the Damsels of Destruction stayed put, unable to break from the hypnotic gaze of the Fiend.
"Where is she?" he asked the Damsels and they pointed ot the bathroom. "Go get Sasha and bring her out here,"
The Damsels didn't hesitate and they made a beeline for the bathroom but when they burst through the door to find Seth and Sasha, there was no one there for them to apprehend.
The bathroom window was open and outside of it, the Rollins were holding hands walking like a pair of doves, more in love with each other than ever. Not even the darkness of Bray Wyatt's black magic could affect them, the futher Seth kept his wife from Bray Wyatt, the better.
Seth kissed Sasha on the head as she leaned into his embrace as they walked down a busy New York street towards Migel's in Midtown.
"Are you excited about the wedding?" Seth asked her sweetly and Sasha sighed pulling a honey coloured lock of her hair out of her very happy face.
"Actually I am, as much as I hate the God Girls, I want Finn and Becky to be happy. After all, this means that I don't have to worry about Becky going after you anymore," Sasha said and Seth furrowed his brow.
"Becky was never after me, that was all just a rouse to get Bayley out of our marriage. That body switch didn't actually mean I slept with Becky," Seth said and Sasha ignored him.
"Seth, every woman is after you, you're just too blind to see it. That's why I don't trust those God Girl b*****," Sasha said spitefully and Seth bit his tongue. His task was to keep his wife away from Shane and Bray and he had done that; he'd work on her disrespect towards his beloved God Girls another time.
Times Square Cathedral
Finn smelled the lilacs that were freshly picked as ATM and DX went over strategy to keep Bray and Shane away from the ceremony that was scheduled to take place in a few hours. The God Girls were getting into the bridesmaid dresses while LC was showing her sister Carla how to use a cross bow.
"You're not going to use that thing in here are you?" the reverend asked LC.
"Stay out of this padre, you just lead the ceremony, I'll do my job and you do yours," LC said and Aurora nodded with approval as she too was ready to execute her Gift from God when Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt showed up. Hunter nodded in approval.
"This wedding ceremony is going to be fire," he said rubbing his hands together with excitement as the WWE roster started to take their places in the beautiful New York City church. When the unmistakable form of the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin showed up, Hunter and Shawn headed for them quickly. "Now Austin, we don't want any trouble. I know you had feelings for Becky but Balor's her man of choice and we don't want no drama from you. We got enough drama coming our way with Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt, we sure as Hell don't need you getting in the mix with them,"
Austin put his hands up innocently, "I'm here as a guest and I'll be on my best behaviour, so you can both relax," he replied and DX blew a sigh of relief, "Shawn, go get me a beer will ya?"
Shawn covered his face with embarrassment before Austin and Rocky burst out laughing then HBK realised he was being ribbed.
"He just can't help himself, I'll make sure he doesn't get a "WHAT?" chant going during the vows," Rocky said.
"Thanks Rocky now take a seat please, we've got to keep a look out for Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt," Hunter said and DX left Rocky and Austin to find ATM and the rest of the DX family. The DX kids were sprinkled all around the church, keeping their eye out for anything suspicious as the ceremony drew near.
Remi and RJ Orton noticed Seth and Sasha Rollins heading towards the building, "Hurry up and get in!" RJ called to them. "This whole place is gonna be on lockdown in about fifteen minutes,"
Seth nodded seeing the DX kids planted all around the church and LC aiming her cross bow from the church steeple.
"Don't worry Seth I'm not aiming at you, your wife on the other hand might get caught in the crossfire if I see her talking to her Daddy or his demented friend," Lisa said and Sasha gasped in horror.
"Ignore her sweetie nobody's going to shoot you with a crossbow – very funny Lisa," Seth replied calming Sasha down. "Better hurry up and get into your bridesmaid dress honey, the wedding's going to be starting soon,"
Seth kissed Sasha's hand when they got into the church and Roman Reigns, Galina and the Good Housekeeper watched them from behind as they made their way into the church as-well.
"Looks like Seth got Sasha back to her happy place," Roman said but Galina was less convinced that Sasha was happy.
"That woman is as face as my grandma's nails but this is a special day so I won't say anything," Galina said and Miss Glee furrowed her brow at Roman's wife.
"You just did," she said with disapproval, "The Boss isn't fake she's in love, she's married to a man that would move Heaven and Earth to see her smile, a woman couldn't ask for more than that,"
Roman smiled, it was true. There was nothing Seth wouldn't do for Sasha, he loved her deeply and would do anything for her. They were both glowing with love beams and for Sasha it was also pregnancy glow and it was showing all over her. Finn Balor noticed them both as Sasha headed to the back to get changed into her bridesmaid dress.
"Whatever you did to put that smile on your wife's face, please keep doing it," Finn said to Seth who laughed knowing that would not be appropriate at all.
Sasha swooned into the vestibule where Becky was applying the last touches to her eye makeup as her mother tidied her veil. Miss Lynch's face darkened as Sasha came inside but she kept her composure so Becky didn't get upset.
"Hello Sasha, you look radiant. I hope you are smiling throughout the whole ceremony, there's a lot of family here and we'll all be taking pictures," she said and she left to find Becky's father who was talking to Rock and Austin outside in the church pews. It was just Sasha and Becky now as the other God Girls were talking to DX and ATM about Bray and Shane McMahon.
Sasha found her dress hung up on the side of the vestibule and quickly changed into it. Bianca had done her hair for her last night and Charlotte did her makeup this morning. She was ready to walk down the aisle with the women she despised but for now, she was the happiest woman on the planet.
"Becky, you look so beautiful," she said as Becky looked at herself in the mirror not saying a word.
"I really should be out there with the other God Girls but Finn wants to marry me today so I can't put his off any longer," Becky said finally and Sasha furrowed her brow.
"You do want to marry Finn, right?" Sasha said confused by Becky's statement. "Its not like you can't go back to doing God stuff after the wedding, unless Finn wants to start a family right away. I don't know if you guys have talked about your future, I'm sure you have. This day is about you and Finn, not about you and the God Girls,"
"Sasha, I wouldn't expect you to understand, so I'm gonna do the best thing I can do for the guests and the reverend and I'm gonna keep my mouth shut," Becky said and Sasha watched as Becky turned around the face her. "Thanks for showing up, despite everything going on between us, I want you as my bridesmaid,"
Becky hugged Sasha but Sasha felt conflicted. As beautiful as Becky looked, her voice didn't match her appearance. Sasha bit the bullet and dared to ask Becky the question she didn't want to know the answer to.
"Becks, do you want to marry Finn Balor?" she asked but before Becky could respond the other God Girls came into the vestibule and interrupted their conversation.
"Come on Boss let's get this show on the road!" Bianca said and the God Girls hugged Becky while Sasha looked back at her, still wanting an answer to her question. Becky held Sasha's gaze but no words were exchanged, as the music played, it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin.
As Sasha, Professor Alexander and the God Girls headed out, Becky was joined by her father who took her arm ready to lead her out to meet her future husband.
"You ready for this Becky?" her father asked her, "Honestly I never thought you'd settle down and get married. I thought you were happy being alone, I guess I was wrong,"
"I'm not alone Dad, I've got my Girls. I'll always have my Girls, no matter what," Becky said and her chin started to quiver as her father pulled the veil over his very nervous daughter and future Mrs Balor.
