Within the passing weeks, disappearances throughout Hell became rampant. People were just disappearing. The population was slowly being culled. Selena learned that many new sinners turned to Neana for redemption. Neana was gaining followers. The hotel was full with the rebellion's troops and some stragglers from the street. More people believed in redemption.

Selena felt her holy magic strengthen in this small time. Not greatly, but enough to be noticeable. Zelen had visited not too long after the video went viral. Mostly asking how many more people could be taken into the hotel. Within these last few weeks, more and more hotel guests were disappearing for simple sins. Selena could feel the residual energy of Neana's portals. Charlie was excited, though initially confused by the sudden disappearances.

Alastor and Selena had returned to the garden several times within the passing weeks. She learned that he was fluent in French and that he had a rough childhood. Apparently, he had grown up poor, and his father died when he was a young boy. A hunting accident. This led to his mother working two jobs to keep them afloat. She always made sure he had a top notch education and could explore his interests. When he spoke of his mother, it was always endearing. He never had a bad thing to say about the woman. He loved her with all his being. Her death in his teens had devastated him. Leading him down the path that eventually led to his descent. Not that he regretted it.

Selena opened up as well. Alastor learned that she was taken by the church at a young age. They paid off her family's debts. She rose through the ranks quickly with her natural divine power and had even made enough arguments to change some harsher aspects of the church. She was called to join a one sided campaign and experienced her first time on the battlefield. Apparently, she single handedly won the campaign with an accidental display of her divine powers. During a skirmish that began to turn against her allies, her pain and fear of those she knew dying led to an eruption of divine magic. All that were injured were healed. She was deemed a saintess that battle. The opposing side surrendered claiming that her release of powers was a sign that they belong amongst her empire. That her kindness to heal indiscriminately was a sign of them belonging. He learned that she had a constant patient who she befriended that battle. She never went into too much detail about him though. It made Alastor curious as to why.

This particular morning Alastor was making breakfast. Selena was beside him humming along to a song on his microphone. Today, Zelen was supposed to be coming over to discuss the redemption of his fellow friends. The idea of him visiting never sat well with Alastor. He was always so handsy with Selena.

After breakfast, Zelen showed up at the hotel's front door. "Selena! Any more redeemers?" He asked with his arms out for a hug.

"No one else has been redeemed yet. Plus we're booked so everyone who has come by has been turned away unfortunately." Selena returned the hug.

"You make it seem like too many people is a bad thing!" He laughed and stepped out of the hug.

"It is when you have to turn them down 'cause you're maxxed out. I have to use my fox fires to help me keep up with the workload. It's been super busy, but that's a good sign."

"Speaking of, I have a question for you. Some troops we didn't send went missing. Any ideas?" Zelen seemed concerned.

"Well, I sense Neana's rifts all throughout Hell. There are a few centered over the redemption rebellion's base camp. There's a chance that if they started praying they were redeemed for minor sins." The closer he looked at Selena he could tell. The girl was worn out. They had many tasks to keep up with and with the redemption possibility she tacked on even more to her workload.

"Well once the news broke out and after I sent who I could here, a new religion had surfaced. Neana is definitely being worshiped in the encampments. And apparently through other parts of Hell. In my weekly reconnaissance, I noticed that several demons had taken to a new form of worship. I don't know what they're calling it, but it seems demons all around are worshiping the one god who seems to care for them. It's been quite surprising." He stared at the girl. "One third of the redemption army remains. It's hard to believe that so many people were here because of trivial sins. You're cleaning up Hell, Selena. It's an impressive feat. Of course, overpopulation is still a problem, but one step closer to cleaning up Hell. Congrats." He walked further into the hotel.

"Well, we do owe Charlie a large thanks. Don't forget; it's her idea to save Hell's souls." Selena had been blushing from the over praise. She walked further inside the foyer. The first floor was bustling from new guests exploring or interacting with each other. Most gave a quick "hello" to Zelen since they knew him from the rebellion. "So, Zelen," they walked," how long were you the leader of the redemption rebellion?"

"Oh, I don't know. A couple months maybe." He shrugged.

"Well to have earned so many people's respect and attention, that makes you one hell of a leader. Pun intended." She let out a light giggle.

"Well. That is definitely easier than leading a plan that no one believed in or intended to believe in." Zelen stopped his walk. "I think I'd like to talk with Charlie."

"Oh. Okay. Hold up. Let me go get her." Selena walked towards the offices. She wasn't entirely sure what Zelen had wanted. Selena disappeared behind a door and had apparently interrupted a meeting between a patron and Charlie. She informed her that Zelen wanted to speak with her when she was ready.

For the next hour, the two conversed about their favorite battle moments. Or spells. Alastor watched on as Zelen would occasionally move her hair from her face. He joined their conversation when the conversation steered into a more gruesome topic. Hilarious ways foes fell. Whether literal falling to the ground or the way they died. Alastor had them in stitches with some of the stories he told. Eventually, Charlie came out of her meeting.

"What's up, Zelen?" Charlie had joined the crew and grimaced upon hearing how Al had accidentally gotten guts sprayed all over his lawn.

"I wanted to know if there were any positions you'd be willing to give some of the rebellion army. It seems the remainder want to work at the hotel if they can't stay. Something about soaking up redemptions or something like that. I also would like to work here. A) to manage the ones who do eventually work here. B) because I'm curious about you all, and there really isn't a better way to get to know you."

"We need more workers! That is a fantastic idea! How many wanna work? I feel like a staff of fifty would be enough. We need help maintaining activity rooms, housekeeping, and shopping!"

Alastor started chuckling. "Charlie, dear, you need to slow down." He corrected his monocle.

"Right!" She started mumbling ideas. Not loud enough for the crew to understand her.

Selena laughed. "I'll leave you two to it. I think it's time I finally talked to Angel about his contract. We've been so busy that I hadn't thought about it." Selena waved off the crew and headed to Angel's room.
