Chapter Sixteen: Escalation

*Visored Warehouse*

After getting manhandled by both Yoshiro and Grimmjow. In back-to-back fights no less. Ichigo realized he needed to seriously get his hollow powers in proper control. To have a better chance in the fighting to come. Then Shinji, the leader of a group of runaway soul reapers. Who all possessed powers like him, offered to assist in doing so. While he was a little sketchy at first about the offer. The substitute soul reaper knew that this was his best chance.

Now he was at the visored hideout training with them to do just that. It had been some time since his arrival. He initially had to get his inner hollow in control, to begin with. While it had been a bit tricky, he had managed to achieve just that. Now it was a manner of using his new hollow mask and properly harnessing this new power at his disposal. That proved the difficult part as now he only could keep his mask summoned for a few seconds at a time. Despite all the time he had spent training to improve everything. Ichigo was currently practicing against Shinji.

The orange-haired teen growled in frustration as his mask broke once more after only a few seconds. Shinji could tell something was clearly weighing heavy on Ichigo. The former soul reaper captain shouldered his blade and decided to address things.

"Yo Ichigo, Let's take a bit of a break. We've been going at this for a while." The blond spoke up with a slight grin. Ichigo didn't really decide to argue against it and merely found a good spot nearby. Shinji then took a spot next to him, after a moment's silence. Shinji decided to break it and get right to the heart of things.

"So, what's eating you up on the inside?" The blond asked curiously. "Don't say your hollow because I can tell it's something way more than that. So, speak up maybe I can help ya?"

Ichigo scowled for a moment before giving out a deep sigh. "That obvious huh?" As odd as it was perhaps speaking his mind about things regarding Yoshiro wouldn't be so bad. "Well, a lot of it revolves around a guy called Yoshiro Abe. He's someone who's practically an older brother in every way to me…" Ichigo went on to explain everything. He wasn't sure how long he talked, only that he didn't stop until he felt he said all he could.

During this whole time, Shinji merely kept silent and listened carefully. It was clear from the moment the teen opened his mouth. The subject was a good deal heavier than he had initially thought. Shinji mentally cursed Aizen more than once during Ichigo's rant. The crazy bastard was obviously responsible for screwing with the lives of these kids. Just like he had with so many others. He couldn't help but feel sympathy for both Ichigo and the Yoshiro boy. The latter seemed like a really good guy till Aizen got his hands on him. Shinji thought carefully for a few moments before giving his reply.

"Look Ichigo I'm not gonna sit here and say I know what you're going through. However, I will say this." Shinji looked at Ichigo with an unusual sense of complete seriousness. "Don't let your personal feelings get in the way of doing what needs to be done. Cause from what I can tell, this guy is determined to do what he feels he needs to do. Regardless of how much he does and does not like it. If you're gonna succeed, then you'll need to be willing to do the same. This's a war playing nice tends to get more people killed than saving."

Ichigo scowled and gritted his teeth; he knew in a way Shinji was right. Even if he didn't like that answer. Sadly, the substitute didn't have any means of properly arguing the point.

Shinji let out a sigh and stood up. "Why don't we call it a day? Go home and rest tonight and think about things. I'll see you in the morning Ichigo."

Seeing no point in arguing, Ichigo returned to his body and made his way home. His dad and sisters were out together by the time he got home. Which was fine, he wanted to be alone to think about this all. He went up to his room and walked to one of the walls. Hanging on it was Yoshiro's guitar he had left that fateful day.

"Take care of my guitar for me until I get back."

Those had been Yoshiro's last words to him that day and Ichigo had done just that. He had taken care of it in the time since, kept it clean, and hung it on his wall as a reminder of sorts. He never bothered playing it, he lacked the talent. Plus, it just wouldn't have felt right doing so. He reached and gently pulled it off its wall hanger. Sitting on the edge of his bed with it resting on his legs, he looked at it.

"What exactly am I supposed to do in this wild situation?" Ichigo asked himself in uncertainty.

*Las Noches*

Yoshiro was currently alone and engrossed in his inner world. In the time since Grimmjow's disastrous insubordination. He was still angry with the one-armed Arrancar. He hadn't really interacted with him much at all, he might forgive Grimmjow eventually but that eventually could be a long time. Especially with how long they could exist. Though most of his anger was reserved for the soul reapers. Regardless of circumstance, they had been the ones who made killed his pack mates. As the one who had led the pack back in the day. It was his responsibility to see that retribution was brought about in some manner. All he needed was the proper opportunity to do so. Sadly, that hadn't come up just yet. Aizen wasn't ready to send anyone out just yet after the former Sexta's stunt. Though it had been a while since then so it would be about time to make some move again.

"What a goddamn troublesome mess this all is," Yoshiro stated with distaste.

"Come now kit, such talk will do you no good." Zorro chimed as she stroked her wielder's hair as his head lay on her lap. "Things of this nature and size are always something of a mess. It's unavoidable."

"She isn't wrong master; most you can do is just deal with things as they come." Adelphie cut in as she sat nearby, also trying to ease her master's worries.

Yoshiro sighed knowing they were right, not that it did much to ease his mood. "I just hope all this stuff gets resolved soon. There's been too much loss for my liking as it is anyways. I'll just have to try that much harder to ensure it doesn't increase any further." Yoshiro was suddenly brought out of his thoughts when he felt an approach. "Looks like that's my cue to leave for the time being."

Returning to the real world around him, he sat up from the couch in the living room section of his palace. Seeing he was being approached by Apacci and Luppi. "What's up?" The blond could tell something was up with the pair and that put him a bit on edge.

"I just had a brief meeting with Aizen." Luppi began and Yoshiro couldn't help but tense up a little at that. "I was made to be the new Sexta." The effeminate Arrancar pulled down his clothes slightly. The right side of his hip shows the gothic six now adorned there. "Despite the way Aizen worded things, it was clear I had no real choice in the matter this time."

The Quinta growled in aggravation at that one. He hated it when someone forced those cared about into things. Doubly so with someone like Luppi who was one of his two mates.

"I don't like this, It gives Aizen more direct oversight of you now being an Espada. Probably why he did it, to begin with." Yoshiro huffed.

"You think he's aware of your general thoughts about all the stuff going on?" Apacci wondered.

"No doubt, the smug bastard is too smart to not know. Not that he really cares, if one follows along with the general gist of things. He really doesn't give a damn about what else we all get up to." He gritted out before taking a breath to calm down a bit. "Sorry if I seem kind of bitchy, everything is just well…you know."

"We get it," Apacci began calmly. "Things have been kind of rough for you recently." Everyone knew that Yoshiro hadn't quite been himself since Grimmjow's idiotic stunt. She mentally cursed at the blue-haired bastard. She and Luppi would love to beat him down. For putting their mate into such a state, but Aizen made it clear that such things weren't going to be tolerated at the moment. "We got orders, Aizen wants us to gather," Apacci said getting back on track to what she came to say.

"Is that right?" Yoshiro mused to himself as he stood up and walked over to the two. "It's about damn time." He then paused and gave a quick kiss to the forehead of the two. "I know that I haven't been as good to the two of you lately as you deserve, that's my fault."

"Ok now don't get sappy on us." The deer-like Arrancar cut in. "Things are stressful for everyone right now. Whether they want to admit it or not. We are technically at war after all."

"She's not wrong you know?" Luppi stated.

"Both of you are too understanding towards me sometimes I feel. Regardless, thank you." Yoshiro replied sincerely. "We'd better go see what our great leader has planned for us now."

The three together then quickly used Sonido to gather at the meeting place. There were more than notable others already there. Starrk, his mom, Ulquiorra, Aaroniero, and Yammy. He noticed, perched up from the others looking depressed still was Grimmjow. Giving nods of acknowledgment towards everyone but Grimmjow he approached his mother.

"So, mom what's all this about by chance?" Yoshiro questioned.

"Lord Aizen will explain everything soon enough." Halibel simply replied at first. "How are you doing?" She then asked genuinely concerned, knowing her son's unusual attitude lately.

"Geez, you too huh?" Yoshiro snarked before giving a shake of his head. "Sorry, I'm ok I just want to get all this war business over with."

Before Halibel could reply Aizen chose to make his presence known. Striding in flanked by Gin and Tosen as usual. However, there was a new person with him, an Arrancar never seen before.

The new Arrancar had a thin and somewhat childlike body. He had light blond hair, parted to one side, with the tips fanning out from his face. The remains of his Hollow mask consist of a three-point tiara on the top of his head. He only had two teeth visible while he smiled, freckles, and bright purple eyes. He wore an Arrancar jacket with a hole in the middle of his chest, revealing his Hollow hole and the tip of a mark on his chest. The outfit also has large arm cuffs on the sleeves.

"I'd like to introduce you all to our newest comrade, Wonderweiss Margela," Aizen announced.

Everyone else in the room studied the new guy for a moment his appearance didn't really give off that menacing look. Granted looks can be deceiving as the saying goes. So Yoshiro reached out with his senses to gauge Wonderweiss's strength. "His level is that of an Espada, not quite Vasto Lorde level but high all the same." Yoshiro mused to himself as he studied the new Arrancar more. He suddenly began to note his personality.

"Is it just me or does this guy seem a bit touched in the head?" Yoshiro thought.

"Absolutely," Zorro noted.

"If he isn't that I don't know what to call it then." Adelphie tossed in.

"Now then, it's time we make our next move against the soul society," Aizen spoke gaining everyone's attention. "Our next move will be to acquire Orihime Inoue and bring her to our side."

Yoshiro practically felt his non-existent heart freeze for a moment. He needed answers to this. "Lord Aizen," He began with an even and surprisingly calm tone. "For what purpose do we require Orihime specifically?"

Aizen almost seemed to smile smugly at the question before answering. "Simple Quinta, her powers are of great interest to me and they could be very helpful to our cause. Thus, this mission will have two parts, a team will distract those guarding Karakura. While Ulquiorra will acquire miss Inoue. Quinta, I will be putting you in charge of the distraction team. Your presence will have the greatest effect on those in Karakura after all. Bring whoever you wish to, you all leave soon enough."

"Understood Lord Aizen," Yoshiro replied before turning to Luppi. "Grab Yin and Yang for me, please. Also, you'll be coming along too if you like."

"Wouldn't dream missing out." Luppi chimed as he left to grab the twins.

"How about me?" Wondered Apacci.

"You'll welcome to come along as well," Yoshiro answered and looked at his mother. "Mom, I'd like you to be ready here in Los Noches as a reserve unit with Mila and Sung-Sun. In case of resistance being tougher than expected, not likely but better to be safe."

"Of course, I'll go grab the two of them"

Yoshiro then looked up at Grimmjow. "You're coming too Grim, you'll be useful even with only one arm." The Quinta barked a bit gruffly and turned away. "Now then I need to chat with Ulquiorra."

"Yes?"

"Fuck!" The blond yelled in surprise before bringing his voice down. Ignoring the snort of amusement coming from Apacci. "I hate when you do that, whatever. Look we need to talk about your job in grabbing Orihime."

"In what regard?" Ulquiorra questioned in his usual manner.

"Okay look, here's the deal." Yoshiro began his full focus on Ulquiorra. "Orihime is a sensitive girl, she's been through a lot of shit in the past. And I'm not referring to what's happened in the last few months. Just don't try to be overly violent with or around her. Be mindful of her feelings and emotions, I know that you're not the most emotionally inclined person. Just try to be here, for my sake, as my friend. Orihime and I go way back, she's pretty much a little sister to me."

Ulquiorra thought momentarily about this suggestion. While normally he wouldn't care too much about the suggestions of others. Yoshiro was a different case. The Quinta was the only person whom he could call a genuine friend. That and he was also his pack leader. That meant a good deal to hollows.

"Very well, I shall aim to temper myself in her presence."

Yoshiro smiled gratefully at the pale-skinned Espada. "Thanks, it means a lot." His attention was then pulled to the rest of the group as they arrived. "Right then, let's get going."

*Karakura Park*

Hitsugaya, Ikkaku, Rangiku, and Yumichika were all gathered at the park doing training with their zanpakuto. The rest of the protection team was off doing training elsewhere. The attack that had been led by the blue-haired Arrancar named Grimmjow, while ultimately repelled. Had shown that many of them needed to further improve for the harsher battles soon to come. Things had been quiet for a while, but that could change at any moment.

Then a shimmer was felt in the air which immediately grabbed all the soul reapers' attention. They knew exactly what it meant. They looked to the sky as a zipper-like sound was heard and a black void opened up. A group of Arrancar came walking out of it.

Yoshiro looked down at the Shinigami staring at him and his team. His focus was quickly drawn to a certain white-haired captain. "Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya been some time since I last so you. What a sight for sore eyes you are."

"Yoshiro Abe, what brings you and your followers here? What is it that Aizen desires?" Toshiro questioned as the others prepared themselves for a fight.

"You honestly think I would tell you that?" Yoshiro retorted as he made a brief search of the area with his Pesquisa. He felt everyone he was hoping for except for Chad. He must have been outside of Karakura or somewhere that was hiding his presence. Unfortunate but not a deal-breaker to his plans. "Brief change of plans everyone. Apacci, stay here with Luppi and keep the Shinigami entertained. Everyone else you know what you're doing."

"You think we'll just allow you to do as you please?" The white-haired captain stated challengingly.

Yoshiro smirked and chuckled a little at that. "Frankly, I think it's funny that you somehow think you can stop us. You have no clue just how outmatched you are right now. Let's move."

Toshiro was about to move when he was suddenly cut off by an effeminate-looking Arrancar. With violet eyes, a mask fragment shaped like a hairclip, and three stars above their left eye. He growled in frustration as the others managed to escape.

"I'm afraid you don't have a choice but to stay here with me and Apacci," Luppi interjected with a smirk. "Our mate has his own plans he needs to see done and we're not going to allow you all to interfere. Apacci you don't mind if I take charge of things here?"

"Fine," retorted the deer-like Arrancar. "Just don't play around too much. You know Yoshiro doesn't like that. I'll keep watch in case anyone else shows up."

"You honestly think you can fight us all by yourself?" Toshiro questioned finding the notion a bit absurd.

Luppi laughed at the remark. "It's just like Yoshiro said," the effeminate Arrancar's expression turned vicious. "You have no idea how outmatched you are!" Luppi lunged forward catching Toshiro by surprise with his speed. Planting a punch in the captain's gut, sending him flying back. Toshiro was caught by his vice-captain, coughing a little.

"Dammit, he's far stronger than the last Arrancars we faced! That punch alone was evidence enough. Not to mention the other one hanging in the back. We already know she's a Vasto Lorde." The white-haired captain thought in frustration before speaking his mind. "Hold nothing back we can't afford to! Bankai: Daiguren Hyōrinmaru!" The others were quick to follow suit.

"Growl: Haineko!"

"Grow: Hōzukimaru!"

"Bloom: Ruri'iro Kujaku!"

"That's right, show me a good time." Luppi chimed playfully.

*With Yoshiro*

The twins had already split off to their respective objectives. Yoshiro and Grimmjow were traveling together. When they both stopped when they felt a presence coming their way. Sure, enough a certain orang-haired Shinigami made his presence known.

Ichigo looked at the two individuals with a scowl. The moment he felt his arrival he took off toward Yoshiro. He noticed Grimmjow was there too, though surprisingly was missing an arm. "Yoshiro! Just what the hell does Aizen want now!?" He roared at the Arrancar.

"Sorry, Ichigo but that's classified." The Quinta answered. "As much as I would like to stay around, I have other things to do. Grimm, keep him busy while I head out."

"Like hell you are Yo-" Ichigo began before being cut off by a strike by the blue-haired Arrancar. He quickly moved to avoid it. Scowling fiercely at the former Espada.

Grimmjow who had been gloomy ever since his punishment suddenly seemed back to his old self again. "Just you and me Kurosaki!" He spoke with savage delight.

Yoshiro didn't waste time as he moved on, focusing on his objective. Soon he felt an unfamiliar signature heading right for him. He stopped as the other person coming his way entered his field of view. It was a Shinigami, a short petite woman with black hair and violet eyes.

"So, you're the Yoshiro Abe person Ichigo has spoken so much about?" Rukia spoke cautiously as she gauged him.

"That's right and you're the one who killed Di-Roy." He practically snarled in return. Recalling the details, he received about Grimmjow's foolish endeavor. He had managed to keep his anger in check earlier but now it was starting to boil over despite his best efforts. Having one of the Shinigami responsible for killing his pack members all to himself. Was something he simply couldn't pass up. "He was my friend and a part of my pack."

"Irrelevant to me," Rukia retorted "You may have once been someone integral to Ichigo's life. Now though, you're just another Arrancar in service to Aizen that needs to be stopped."

"No, you won't stop me all you're going to accomplish. Is getting yourself ruined for the rest of your sad existence." Yoshiro said with a cold steely tone.

"Nothing has been decided yet! Dance: Sode no Shirayuki!" Rukia proclaimed as her blade turned completely white with a long white ribbon at the pommel.

"That's cute and all but," The blond Arrancar began as he suddenly appeared in front of Rukia faster than she could perceive. Yoshiro casually gripped the blade at the base while staring right at her. Snapped it clean off the handle. "You're nothing against me." The violet-eyed woman gasped in shock but before she could do anything else. He took the broken blade and thrust it through her abdomen. Rukia had no time to properly process what just happened before a harsh punch to the face. Sent her flying a good distance before crashing into the ground.

Yoshiro quickly appeared next to her with a foot raised and brought it down on her chest. Rukia had the air knocked out of her body and felt a few of her ribs break. Yoshiro reached down and grabbed her by her throat harshly and hoisted her up. "You know, this isn't normally my kind of thing but, you and your friends from the squads. Have done wonders when it comes to pissing me off." The Quinta stated with venom. He grabbed one of Rukia's arms and twisted it. Breaking bone and sinew until it sat at an awkward angle.

Rukia couldn't even scream in pain now, the most she could do was whimper in her agony. "It's honestly hard to believe someone as sad as you killed Di-Roy." Yoshiro spat in disgust and the Shinigami's weakness. Looking to finish things with her and move on. He reached up with a hand in one fluid motion. He ripped her left eye clean out of its socket. At this point, Rukia did find the strength to scream in pain. Not that it did her much good as she was immediately thrown full force away. Without any way of controlling things. Rukia crashed through the branches of some trees like a rag doll before landing on the ground. In a broken and battered heap where unconsciousness finally took her.

"Well, that was cathartic." Yoshiro mused as he took a few breaths to steady himself. He needed to bring his emotions back down into proper control for what he was going to do next.

*With Apacci and Luppi*

It would be a lie if Luppi said he wasn't enjoying this. The fight if you could really call it that. Had been completely in his favor, no surprise. He would be willing to admit that the soul reapers were stronger than most. However, compared to him as a Vasto Lorde, it meant little. The three non-captains lay beaten and broken on the ground. The captain still stood but roughed up and not exactly happy at the state of things. After the weaker soul reapers were defeated the two took their fight high above Karakura.

"You know if you want to give up, I won't hold it against you," Luppi spoke with mirth.

"Never Arrancar, I don't care what I must do. I will defeat you!" Toshiro retorted firmly.

Luppi let out a sigh and all signs of playfulness left his face. Replaced with a cold boring detached expression. "It seems I'll need to break you of your delusion more forcefully." Luppi drew his blade for the first time in the fight and held it out.

"Strangle: Trepadora" Luppi was engulfed in a massive burst of pink reiatsu. Toshiro felt the level of power suddenly coming off the effeminate Arrancar. He paled at its enormity. The pink reiatsu cleared revealing Luppi in his released form. Luppi gained eight enormous tentacles, each one of them connected at one of the corners of an octagonal apparatus fixated on his back, and he now wore a bone cowl on his head.

"Now then captain, let us continue."

Apacci was still keeping watch of things from below somewhat bored. "Huh, so he finally released his power. That fight will be over soon enough, no way shorty can hold up to Luppi now." She suddenly felt another presence arrive, she looked and sucked in a breath at who it was. "Urahara, long time no see."

"Ah, miss Apacci it has been some time indeed." Kisuke greeted politely, though the effect was nulled a bit. Since his blade was already drawn and released. "My, my, seems I was a little late to the party." He commented seeing the three defeated soul reapers on the ground. "So, what brings you here today?"

"You know I can't tell you that Urahara," Apacci answered uncertainty lacing her voice. "Don't try to force it out me, I'd rather not have to fight you. I still remember well how you helped me and the others out a few years back. Plus, you know well that I'm a Vasto Lorde. Not to mention my lady and sisters are on standby to step in if needed."

Kisuke couldn't help but sigh as he relented and returned his blade to its cane form. As much as he wanted to figure out what exactly was going on. Fighting the deer-like Arrancar would be a handful as it is. If Halibel and the rest showed up, he would be helplessly outmatched. That and he also didn't have the strongest desire to have to fight Apacci as well. "Well then if you can't tell me what Aizen's wanting. How about you tell me what Yoshiro is doing?"

Apacci contemplated this for a moment but before she could speak. A white blur smashed into the ground. Once the dust settled the form of a beaten and unconscious Toshiro lay there. Soon enough Luppi appeared next to Apacci still in his release form.

"This must be the famous Kisuke Urahara you and Yoshiro talked about before?" Luppi questioned.

"Indeed I am who may I ask are you?" Replied the former captain.

"Luppi Antenor, Sexta Espada, and Yoshiro's mate alongside Apacci." Kisuke raised an eyebrow in curiosity at that statement.

"Let's not get off track here." Apacci cut in. "I tell you Urahara, consider it repayment for a few years ago. Yoshiro is…"

*With Yoshiro*

Yoshiro had arrived at one of the other parks in town. Here he found what he was looking for. Hanging out together were Karin and Yuzu. Yoshiro felt a wave of nervousness build up within him. He took a deep breath and suppressed it, he needed to do this. Steeling his emotions for this little reunion he made his approach.

Karin was spending time with her sister at the park. Ichigo was off somewhere and their dad was busy with work. Karin couldn't help but feel something was off though, she could feel it in the air. Though she couldn't explain why though, then she caught something out of the corner of her eye. She looked and she froze up, she couldn't believe who she was seeing. He was wearing an almost all-white outfit with sunglasses but there was no mistaking who it was.

"Yo-, Yoshiro..it's...is it really you?" Karin choked out in her shock.

Yoshiro approached steadily and put away his sunglasses. Stopping a few steps in front of her. "Long time no see Karin, yeah it's me, sorry for being gone for so long." He spoke sincerely.

"Karin, what's wrong?" Yuzu questioned as she saw her sister suddenly acting odd. She looked in the direction Karin was staring at. She could sense something but couldn't really see it. "What are you looking at?"

Yuzu's response snapped Karin out of her shock for a moment. If Yuzu couldn't see him but she could that could only mean…

"Ah her spiritual awareness isn't high enough to see me clearly, I can fix that," Yoshiro spoke as he placed a hand on Yuzu's head and pumped some of his spirit energy into her.

Yuzu stiffened when she felt something touch her head and then an odd sensation rolled over her body. Suddenly a figure appeared right in front of her, with its hand on her head. She looked to see who it was, and her own shock flooded her. "Yoshiro…"

"Yep, it's me, and I know I've be-" the blond began speaking before being cut off when both sisters tackled and hugged him.

"We've missed you!"

"Where have you been!?"

"What happened to you!?"

The twins were hugging him as tightly as their small arms would allow. While crying as their emotions overflowed through them. As they bombarded him with multiple questions. This went on for a few minutes before they began to settle down a little. Yoshiro went down on his knee to be level with their faces as he spoke next.

"I'm so happy to see the two of you again, geez you two have grown in the last few years. Look, I know I have a lot to answer for and I will answer it. For the moment though, I need you two to listen to me. This's very important ok. Things are happening and Karakura isn't as safe as it seems. I need to take you two somewhere I know I can keep you safe from what's coming."

"What's going on?" Yuzu asked

"What's happening?" Karin questioned

"There's not enough time fully explain it now but I will once it's possible," Yoshiro responded.

"Tell me this at least," Karin stated, "are you a ghost of sorts now?" Yoshiro looked at her and simply nodded his head. Both girls' eyes widened in surprise at that.

"As for how all that came to be and more, I will explain. Once I get to you where things will be safer. For now, I just need you two to trust your other big brother. You know I would never lead you two astray." Yoshiro asked them kindly.

The sisters looked at each other for a moment before looking back at Yoshiro and nodding.

Yoshiro smiled in relief at that. "Great, just keep close to me, and will be out of here soon enough." Yoshiro did a quick feel with his senses and discovered Yin and Yang were successful. In getting who they needed to. He suddenly felt a presence come racing his way. He put himself in front of the twins for their safety and he saw who the new person was.

The person was a middle-aged man of average height and appeared quite fit for his age. He wore thin, frameless glasses and a plain grey suit with a light blue shirt and a tie adorned with Quincy crosses. He had narrow blue eyes and fair skin with white hair. He did not look happy at the moment. "Away from them hollow!" Ryuken demanded with his bow drawn and ready.

"Hate to break it to you Quincy but that's not going to happen. You're certainly not going to make me, and you know why?" Yoshiro mused as he and the twins were suddenly engulfed by the light of Negación. "That's why." Yoshiro felt that everyone else was also safely within Negación. He held onto Yuzu and Karin protectively while the beam carried them to Las Noches. Ryuken could only stare angrily in frustration as he was helpless to do anything.

AN: Long time no see everyone, I finally got off my butt and put out another chapter. Some of you may wonder why I glossed over a few things. Simply put anyone who knows the series and I assume you do if you're reading this. Know very well about the Shinji's group and whatnot in this section of the story. No need to write out what we already know very well. Same goes for Grimmjow and Ichigo round 2. Now Luppi's fight was glossed over simply because in canon Luppi smacked around the non-captains and pushed Toshiro until his limiter was removed. Luppi is a Vasto Lorde in this story, nothing was gonna stop him from curb stomping them here. It felt kind of pointless writing it out to me. Since the outcome felt like such a given. That's all for now, till next time!
