Howdy all! We are at a critical part of the story. You saw the last chapter...now witness its start!
The trip to Mobius was a short one for the wounded and now disgraced Dark Jedi Bastila Shan. As she dropped out of Hyperspace, she immediately opened an all hail to the planet.
"This is the Sith Lord, Bastila Shan calling to any Egg Legion chapters. I have defected from the false Sith Empire. I wish to join you."
Of course, due to it being an open communications, everyone on Mobius caught it. From Station Square to New Mobo. Fighters were scrambled. Personal were informed. A race was on to secure the Sith Lord. Sadly for them...Eggman was ten steps ahead of them. He sent her a burst transmission to a set of coordinates located deep in Downunda where his latest chapter was at.
Evading the forces of GUN was child's play for her. Thanks to the Platypus chapter, they were chased off and she touched down. Bill Platypus, secret informant of the DFF, brought her to a warp pad.
"Doctor Eggman wants to see you right away. You got the whole world up in arms."
Bastila said nothing. She just pushed past the platypus and onto the pad. She felt her entire body break down, a scream coming from her lips.

She reappeared, falling to her knees, her wounds reopening. Eggman was about to greet her until he saw her condition. Quickly, he had a gurney wheeled in. She was placed on it by his Egg Legions, a mask fitting over her face.
"Be at ease, my dear...when you wake...
Bastila's eyes slowly fluttered close, Eggman's voice echoing.
"You will be reborn."
Once she was sleeping, Eggman went to work. He had a lot of work to do and not much time. He had her right arm completely removed, sighing. It was a complete loss. Whatever battle she had been in had done considerable damage to her. A robot wheeled out an arm, Eggman looking at it before shaking his head.
"I need a more feminine one. There should be the remains of that Auto-Sally in storage. Get me the arm off that rusting piece of scrap."
The bot saluted, hurrying away. While the bot was getting that, Eggman began work on her face. He hummed a bit to himself, cutting away the burnt flesh and ruined eye. He disposed of them, the blood squirting. Ah, how could he forget that?
Several bots came in, did a quick test of her blood and found suitable packs to replenish the lost liters. He picked up his tools again, carefully removing parts of the skull and replacing it with metal and circuits. As the hours passed, he picked a cybernetic eye, returning to his masterpiece.
"Sir? The warp is ready to take us to the special zone for the Emerald." His nephew Snively said over the coms.
"We'll have to delay a bit, Snively. One of Revan's own has defected to us. I'm currently working on her improvements as we speak." The good doctor said, attaching the wires to the metal parts of her skull.
His nephew nodded, cutting off the feed.
The eye came on for a moment before dimming. Slotting it in, he watched his robot from before come in, carrying the old arm. He quickly made some improvements to the old arm, cutting it up and adding more length to it. Once it reached his specifications, he attached it to the arm socket that was put on. He attached several wires to it and went to switch. Throwing it, he gave Shan one hell of a wake up call.

Bastila was floating in the Darkness, peaceful and serene. That all changed when a sharp jolt made her awaken with a scream. She sat upright, seeing the overweight human nearby. He cut off the juice, walking up to her.
"Apologies, madam." He said, using Mobian. "But its the only way to connect your metal parts with your nervous system."
"What...what did you do?!" Shan snarled, getting up, the Force coming to her...albeit a tad unwillingly.
The good doctor went in the air for a bit.
"H-h-h-had to repair damage!" He choked out.
Damage? The Plasma Grenade! It had harmed her grievously. She dropped the doctor, helping him up.
"I'm sorry, Doctor...I forgot myself for a moment."
"Think nothing of it my dear! Now...what do you say I let you in on what I'm planning to do."
What Shan heard in the next few moments made her smile. Revan would pay most dearly.

Snively and Eggman had returned from the special zone. Eggman was smiling up a storm. Shan watched the human giggle in excitement, hurrying down the halls. Snively sighed in relief, taking off his helmet.
"Too close...good thing Uncle Julian had a back up to get me back." Snively said, panting.
"Finally! After years of prep work...it...is...done!" Eggman boasted.
Mere minutes later, the massive station was charged. Shan was not shocked, but impressed. She knew the power of the Chaos Emeralds, but for one to just charge everything up in such a short time. It was truly amazing.
Shan felt the ground beneath her tremble and smirked. The Death Egg it had been called began to take flight. The earth fell away revealing a ruined city. Shan ignored it, watching the first images of New Mobo be shown. Eggman cackled in glee. More and more ships joined the Death Egg, his 'Egg Fleet'.
Shan left the bridge once the last of the massive ships rose up, heading for her personal chambers.
"Lord Eggman, I will be using Battle meditation to aide in the upcoming battle."
"Excellent! Delay them...I have an uber plan to clean the slate." Eggman said, chuckling.
Shan nodded.

Sonic watched the Death Egg and Egg fleet rise up from the ruins of New Mega. For the past five years, things had spun out of control. The Sith were the start of it all. Then it was the council. They constantly attacked and wheedled the Sith until the Sith bit back and bit back HARD. The reveal of who Revan was destroyed the fighting spirit the FF had. Then it was Naugus. Leading up to all this.
"That bunker...damn it, it was just the top of the Death Egg! Eggman used these last five years to rebuild it!" Sonic moaned, watching the Death Egg hovering menacingly above
"Not just that, but the Egg Fleet too." Sally said, running up.
They saw the massive red carriers. They looked at Naugus and then at Geoffrey.
"King Naugus. Eggman is clearly out to attack us and the world...what do you want us to do?"
Here, Naugus grinned, missing the sarcasm used in Sally's voice. He agreed with her. He would attack the Death Egg. No technological terror could stand up to his magical might. He flew off, Sally covering her face with a scowl.
"Alright...just this once, the FF are back." Sally commanded, earning looks of shock from Sonic, Bunnie, and Antoine. "Bunnie, you and Antoine will take the Special. We'll join you in-"
"Begging your pardon, princess, but you need the council's approval for such an mission." Everyone heard a smug voice behind them.
They turned to see Amy Rose, haughtily standing before them. Sally's face became stone cold. She walked right up to the pink hedgehog.
"And what if I refuse?"
"Then you will be charged with Treason." Amy said, a smug tone in her words. "Let his majesty deal with-"
"Hey look. Naugus can't crystallize the DE. Guess old Egghead has a Chaos Emerald." Sonic said dully, making Amy look up.
True to Sonic's word, Naugus was failing to stop the Death Egg. With a twitch of her eye, she grinned.
"That's okay. He's just warming up. I'm sure we'll be-"
Something smashed into the shield of the city, cutting her off. Everyone looked to see the Egg Fleet attacking it. Naugus tried to attack them too, but once more failed.
"Its fine! He'll break through-"
Whatever else was said was lost due to Sally punching Amy hard. So hard the pink hedgehog lost a tooth. Bunnie followed that up with a drop kick that had sent Amy squealing through the air. Sally looked at Geoffrey.
"Your king would want us to defend his kingdom from idiots. Get the Air Force, Geoffrey. We go to war."
Geoffrey nodded, rushing away.

Eggman watched in delight as most of his Egg Fleet began their attacks on New Mobo and the rest went around the globe. He chortled, watching his fleet and feeling the power Shan had coursing through him. Already, they were winning. Naugus, which was a surprise, had attacked the Death Egg, but thanks to the Emerald and whatever Shan was doing, his Death Egg was protected. He cackled, seeing Naugus flee to attack the Fleet.
"Bah, look at him scurry around like a rat! All of my Egg Fliers are protected by Power Rings so fat lot of good those will do him!" Eggman chortled.
"Sir, the FF Special is entering our radar!"
"Prepare to fire all batteries!" Snively ordered, making the crew move.
"Belay that! Do not fire on the FF Special." Eggman bellowed, making everyone look at him.
They would never hit him. The chaos was constant, the Chaos being the Hedgehog. He asked for the status of Phase one. Upon hearing the status of it, he chuckled. He pressed a button, Snively seeing the hanger doors opening. Bringing it to his uncle's attention just had the man laugh merrily.
"All part of the plan!" Eggman chortled, leaving.
Once he was gone, one of the Egg Legions turned to Snively.
"Sir, he has fucking lost it."
For once, Snively was inclined to agree with the Mobian.

The FF Special flew through the heated air zone. Geoff had gotten their air force up and taking out the various robots that were covering the Death Egg. Sonic saw the Hanger doors open and frowned.
They were expected.
The special landed, the four stepping out...into an empty hanger.
"I don't like this..." Bunnie said, looking around. "This just screams TRAAAAAAAaaaaaaappppppppp-!"
Sonic and Sally had turned around in time to see Bunnie and Antoine fall through a trap door, a PA coming on with laughter.
"OHOHOHOHOHO! THAT NEVER GETS OLD! THE LOOKS ON THEIR FACES~! OH, OH...*AHEM* HELLO RODENTS! I'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU...AND SO HAS AN OLD FRIEND OF YOURS, SONIC. PROCEED FURTHER INTO THE DEATH EGG."
Behind them, the hanger doors slammed shut. Sonic looked at Sally.
"Into the breach then."
He scooped her up and took off with a boom of air.
STHSW
The pair traveled through the Death Egg. Sonic's eyes went wide. He knew this area! He had explored it several times over the past five years. He came to a stop, setting Sally down and seeing a door slide away to reveal-
"An elevator!? I went down this stupid hall four hundred thousand times and never saw this!" Sonic griped, stepping in, Sally right behind him.
The two descended down, Sonic tapping his foot, muttering 'I'm waiting' under his breath. The elevator slowed and came to a stop. The pair exited, Sally's eyes widening.
"Empty? Why would-" Sally began.
From behind them, there was a screech of metal and a large Silver Hedgehog appeared. Sonic's eyes went wide, not in shock or fear, but excitement.
"A Silver Sonic! Wouldn't be a Death Egg without it!"
"Sonic, focus! We don't-!"
"AH PRINCESS...I REALLY MUST THANK YOU. AFTER ALL, ALL THIS WAS POSSIBLE THANKS TO YOUR CHARITY. IF YOU HAD JUST ELMINATED ME WHEN I HAD MY EPISODE OR WHEN YOU HAD ME SURROUNDED AFTER I TOOK CONTROL OF SONIC...THINGS WOULD BE DIFFERENT."
Eggman's gloating was interrupted by Snively, informing him that it was fully charged. At hearing that, Eggman stopped his rant and headed for a large button. Sally commanded Nicole to track Eggman's voice, Sonic calling after her.
She rushed down a hall. A part of the wall pulled away and a massive gun turret slid out.
"Not so fast, your majesty." Snively snarled, pushing a button.
Sonic's ears picked up the sound of gunfire...and then saw Sally's goggles fall to the ground. He saw Red and tore Silver Sonic to shreds, rushing to her...just as a white light engulfed the Universe, her name escaping his lips in the soundless void that consumed all.
And it has begun. The Genesis Wave has been released and with it...a new world and Galaxy. Stay tune.
