Chapter 24: Aftermath and Ending

After the events in Tazmania, much was to follow. So what exactly happened after the events and where is everyone now?

Taz would continue to work at Hotel Tazmania for a few more years until eventually leaving to go live in California and work for a movie studio out there. He would have a successful career and continues to have a pretty good career to this day. In the process of his career, he met another Tasmanian Devil named She-Devil in which they fell in love a dated for several years until they eventually got married.

Hugh and Jean would continue doing whatever it was that they would do until they retired sometime in the mid to late 2010s. They still live in Tazmania today and even made their way into a documentary on Tazmania in 2006.

Molly would stay in Tazmania much like her parents and became a highly successful music composer. She would often do original motion picture soundtracks for many iconic movies and even had a wide variety of music she'd compose. One day in 2007, rumors began circling that she was dating Wendal T Wolf. The rumors turned out to be true when Molly posted a picture of her and Wendal getting married in 2010 on one of her social media pages.

Jake did well education wise when he got older and even went into special programs for stuff that he had interest in. He was originally gonna try to work for Nasa or any space program available, but he was unfortunately not excepted into them. However, he did win Heather's heart sometime in the late 2000s or early 2010s. Since then, they've moved to California much like Taz and not much else is known; but it's believed that they got married and started a family around the same time.

Acme found themselves in hot water after what Dingo had done. Turns out they'd offer to help folks in various situations in any way possible, then charge them huge amounts of money. Not just in Tazmania but wherever an Acme Branch had their headquarters set up. This had been a common practice since the late 1970s without anyones knowledge besides the chairmans who ran over the years. Of course though, the chairman who forseed all Acme's denied knowing anything when he was eventually brought to court and blamed it solely on Mr. Marcelo, Agent Townly, and Dingeri Dingo. He even had some powerful lawyers to make sure he was innocent. Mr. Chairman may have been claimed innocent at the time, but his reputation as well as Acme's would never be the same. His Tazmania Branch was kicked out of the island and at least 30 other countries did the same thing shortly after the Acme Tazmania Fiasco as it's been called. Despite being claimed not guilty, Acme would continue to find themselves in trouble as more and more was revealed about them and many began to tell their stories about their experiences with Acme and the damage it did to them, between 1996 to 2002. Then 2003 came and it was the final straw. The Infamous Blue Monkey incident that year was what nearly pulled the plug on Acme as a whole. Long story short, Mr. Chairman planned to turn everyone into monkeys (for who knows what reasons) but ended up turning into a monkey himself before getting arrested. Acme was forced the shut down immediately after incident and everyone involved (who were still around) were arrested and served an unknown sentence. Some say Taz was involved, but Taz himself believed that he was being framed as he stated he had no involvement whatsoever. Between 2004 to 2005, Acme was on the verge of closing it's doors as barely anyone trusted them. However, a private company bought Acme in 2006 and all those who worked with Acme before were replaced with those involved with the private company. Spies were no longer a thing, there were no more corrupt chairman, and it seemed like Acme was going back on track. As of 2022, it looks like they have officially redeemed as there have been no major innocents involving them since 2003. Despite their bright future, their past is undoubtedly dark.

Francis was arrested after the Acme Tazmania Fiasco but was soon bailed out by his father Felton. He believed that he was able to get away scot free, especially since he faced no consequences for what he had done and achieved his manhood. However, that wouldn't last long and would come back to bite him in the ass hard. Sometime in the middle of 1996, the Tribe of the Mudpeople found out about what Acme had been really doing. Truth was, Dingo had lied to them about remastering Tazmania. He knew if he had told the tribe what he was really doing to Tazmania and the population, he likely would've had a bigger problem to deal with as the Mudpeople would have not taken it too lightly. Plus, Dingo wanted to maintain a good relationship with the Mudpeople for Francis's sake and so they didn't find out the activity he was involved in. Kind of ironic in a way considering some of the activities the Mudpeople did at times. To be fair though, what Francis knew and did that they didn't was certainly the worst thing a tribe member had done. Anyway, when they was found that Francis was involved, many members were hoping that Felton would punish Francis for the stuff he had done, but that wasn't the case. Felton believed Francis should go unpunished as he had at the very least, earned his manhood in the process after some years of trying. This really rubbed the Mudpeople the wrong way, especially when Francis showed no remorse for what he had done. 1997 was certainly an unpleasant year as no one wanted to hang out or be around Francis at all. Didn't help that Francis constantly bragged about what he had done and that he'd do it again. Felton was also effected by this, as many didn't wanna hang around him for letting his son get away with the stuff he had done. Their reputations were sinking fast and by then, both of them pretended like nothing had happened which only fueled the angry tribe even further. What could push the situation over the edge? Well, on New Years Day of 1998, after celebrating, Felton made an announcement that he was going to put Francis to higher ranks for "good behavior". Immediately after this, both Francis and his father were physically escorted and ejected out of the tribe by everyone in there and completely locked out. Not much is known about Felton's wearabouts from this point forward, although some say he and Francis moved to Australia, with Felton himself getting a new name and remaining mostly anonymous. As for Francis, when he turned 18, he moved out of his father's place to go for the best colleges in the US. Unfortunately, none would except him due to his antics in Tazmania years before. Francis would be unable to find himself certain jobs too due his ever growing ego and began having really bad anger issues. Eventually he became homeless in 2004 and would struggle from then onwards. He could be seen in various photos in the background of many that took place in Boston, MA where he would live for some time between 2004 to 2012. Sometimes he would even be begging in some of them. In a now deleted video from 2007 that was on the internet, Francis would explain who he was and his entire story. Still showing no signs of regret for what he had done. After this, he stopped appearing in social media for a while until New Years Eve of 2017. Two people took a selfie in Times Square of New York City and a familiar face was seen sitting down with a cup full of change in the background. Some believed it was Francis and judging by his face and the stuff he had, it was likely him. However, he hasn't made an appearance in social media since then (yet) and his wearabouts are unknown.

Bull after being released from the hospital was fired from his job and put behind bars for a while. When he was released in 2007, he made his own site called Advice from Bull Gator. The site was various documents and videos on how to catch stuff. He was actually really popular on there and got mostly positive feedback. Job wise, it's unknown where he went to work but it was likely he went to go work something similar to his old job. While his fame looked bright, it was only a matter of time until his followers began to recognize him. It's unclear when he started to get recognized by his followers, but as soon as he was getting recognition for something he didn't want to be recognized for, it became clear that Bull was not likely to stay around for much longer. The last video he posted was in 2011 and the last document (a farewell to everyone) he made was in 2012. By the end of the year, the site went down (likely Bull deleting it himself since he wasn't in violation of anything at the time). Unlike Francis or Felton though, he completely disappeared. To this day, nobody knows what happened to Bull or where he currently is today. He certainly moved out of Tazmania after serving his time but nothing else. All you see is the inside of Bull's home in the videos he would post. While the site was taken down by the end of 2012, some videos and documents were achieved.

Axl would like his new job and found it much less stressful. It actually gave him a chance to show how good of a gator he could actually be. Taz did ask him one day why he decided to work with Bull. Axl explained that he didn't fully think the job through and believed it would be a walk in the park at the time. Luckily for him, he'd find a job that he'd be satisfied with for many years and would hang out with Taz and his family occasionally. Axl didn't have many friends or family to be around, so being friends with the Tasmanian Devil family was amazing for him. The family knew Axl wasn't bad either and knew he had officially redeemed himself since the Acme Tazmania Fiasco. After Taz and his siblings left the house, he would continue to visit Hugh and Jean. Sometimes even visiting Drew on some days. Axl continues to work taking care of many animals at the zoo to this day. Although, he is looking to retire by 2023 or 2024 after close to 30 years of work.

Besides Drew getting back his home, he also got back his money. He lives a pretty quiet and relatively normal life currently. He says he can now live life peacefully, knowing that Acme can no longer go after him or the rest of the family. Drew still holds a grudge against Acme and refuses to buy Acme products but he is at least glad that the company is not what it used to be. Despite Acme losing all former employees from when it was still in it's old ways, the scars it left on Drew would never heal.

Mr. Wellington would retire in 2021 but still has contact with Drew and they occasionally talk here and there. The lawyer moved to Florida as this year (2022) and has continued to stay there while still maintaining contact with Drew as well as the rest of the Tasmanian Devil family.

As for the rest of Tazmania and the population, not everything is known, but there is some info about some folks and certain locations. Hotel Tazmania went under new ownership in 2002, Constance moved to Australia in 1999, Mr. Thickly left Hotel Tazmania in 2000 to continue on his filming career, the Acme building was bought out by a paper company in 2001, and the Platypus Brothers would make a company of their own in 2003. Tazmania's government would be rebuilt in just a matter of a year since the Australian government provided help in making it functional again. Since then, everything has been much better and bribing was no longer a thing. While many folks in Tazmania could move on with their lives, one thing they'd never forget was what Acme had done. Understandably, it left tremendous scars on how they saw Acme as a whole and they have never let them come back or even let them sell their products in Tazmania ever again. Acme almost came back after they were officially redeemed, but many protested the idea, out of fear that there would be a repeat in history. So Acme didn't end up coming back. Due to the Blue Monkey Incident in 2003, the Acme Tazmania Fiasco in 1996 is often swept under the rug. But if you were to ask anyone who was around at the time besides Taz or his family, they'd tell you everything. And despite all of what Tazmania had gone through, they were able to carry on and continue moving forward.

THE END!

Thank you to those who have got the chance read the story! This was easily one of my favorite stories to have worked on! Dare I say it? My absolute favorite Fanfic to have worked on so far! Compared to the Zula Patrol Fanfic I had worked on in 2020, this was nowhere near as much of a production nightmare as that story was. Working on Taz-Mania: The Final Chapter was simply amazing because there was barely are any production issues, I had all the creative freedom to write, there was not much pressure, and overall I chose the best time to have written the story! I don't care if the story is or isn't popular in the end because, I had the time of my life writing this!

The Zula Patrol: Most Wanted on the other hand was a nightmare. Sure I had creative freedom, but there were so many problems due to issues I had with another user at the time. Because of what the user did and said about me, I knew my reputation was damaged beyond repair. This made the story hellish to work on, followed with bad writing and problems with it that would make it too long to talk about. After I was finished with TZP: Most Wanted, I never made another Zula Patrol story again and will likely never go back. Despite getting favorites from folks, the damage had already been done.

Although my writing certainly isn't perfect for Taz-Mania: The Final Chapter, I certainly had a better time writing that story than the Zula Patrol one. For those who got to read it, thank you very much and I hope you enjoyed it! It took about 6 months to finish the story, but it was well worth it! Also, check out the soundtrack if you haven't heard it yet!

Anyway, see you guys when I write another story! This is the final story of the year!
