Looking back, everything felt so surreal. The attack against his family was the final nail in the proverbial coffin, whoever, the move towards the U.S. was in the making for months. Since the attack on my parents we suspected something was wrong in the so-called Light side, they seemed like the good ones but it was a mask and their ugly faces were waiting to reveal.

But even before the attack, we were treated poorly because our relationship, a triad was something to be celebrated only if the participants were all pureblood, however, with Lily being a muggleborn and Sirius and I being pureblood scions of two of the Most Ancient and Noble Houses, the majority of the people conforming the British Wizarding World treated us poorly and were down right nasty towards Lily.

So we decided to make plans to move to another country far away from the clutches of Dumbledore, Voldemort and their sycophants. The U.S. was the best option as they could move to Cánada or even South America if the need arose.

Why so serious?- whispered Sirius in my ear, making me jump.

No, you are Sirius and I was thinking about our next move, with the Grangers knowing about magic and the attachment between Hermione and Harry we can't move or stay without their input— with I sigh I leaned in his arms.

Some people didn't understand our relationship and thought that we were mere friends almost like brothers but what they didn't know was that our souls were connected since the day we met. Obviously we didn't know the extent of our relationship until we hit puberty and we had the talk with my parents (since the Blacks were crazy as fuck).

I felt that we were missing a piece of our puzzle and talked to Sirius afraid of his reaction. I was wrong and he had felt the same but he didn't want to hurt my feelings, lucky us the final piece was Lily.

It may sound cheesy but Lily and now our son are the light of our lives and when the threat of Voldy came, we made contingency plans so Lily and Harry could survive. Now the problem was not Voldy, the problem was Dumbledore and his band of idiots, we didn't know who to trust so that made our return to Britain impossible, that left Australia, Canada or the U.S. as our possibilities.

Maybe we should give them a call and explain so they can choose to come with us— said Lily entering the room with Harry babbling away.

Yes, Lily is right love, if we explain that there is a possibility that Mia and Harry are soulmates and separating them could be extremely painful then we give them a choice, stay and live their lives as normal as possible or come with us in a trip around many countries until they are old enough to go to a wizarding school—- said Sirius in his cheerful voice.

You are right, it is just that the connection between them is so powerful that I am afraid Harry will be hurt if the Grangers decide to stay and continue with their lives— I said in a worried tone.

Well no more worrying baby, I will call them and see if they can come to dinner and let us explain everything in much more detail than the other night. Personally I believe that the Grangers will go with us— said Lily.

We moved in sink, Lily called them and they agreed to meet us for dinner, I played with Harry and his room which accomplished two things, Harry gets to practice Quidditch and I get to hear him laughing something that calms me down and Sirius went to collect some book on soulmates and check on Remus.

—-TIME SKIP—-

And again Lily dear you were right and I was being ridiculous— I said kissing her nose.

Yes dear, you were worrying over nothing, the Grangers were pretty open minded once we got past the part where the babies are soulmates. I don't know how I would react if a daughter of mine was practically bound to a boy being only 1 year old—- said Sirius.

Now we just have to plan our next move, they were neutral and the only condition they had was that we gave them time to open a couple more offices here in the US— I said with a sigh— maybe I can invest in their business so everything runs smoothly.

What a wonderful idea baby, maybe our future is unsure right now but we can build it so our family don't have to worry— the kiss she gave me made me see fireworks (like every time she does it).

Hey where is my kiss? I helped too— said a pouting Sirius.

Oh! You are such a baby! Come here both of you, I love you both— said Lily putting out the light in our bedroom.
