We zoom in onto a forest and see a ,three year old, ashen-haired boy sleeping. He is wearing a orange shirt and blue shorts. He is dreaming about a very distant memory.
(Lincoln's dream)
A anthropomorphic owl is speaking to a white haired woman. The woman is crying and speaks "you can't take him away". The owl replies "we understand he is your son but people will want to take him away and use his powers for evil".
The dream then starts fading.
Lincoln wakes up and looks around. He gets up and mutters "I'm sorry long claw, I promise I'll keep my power's trained but secret. Though first I have to go somewhere safe". He proceeds to walk around the forest until he bumps into someone and falls on his butt. "Sorry" he says as he gets up only to see a man in his early thirties and a woman at the same age. The man is wearing a black jacket, blue pants and a red t-shirt. He has brown hair and is balding at the front of his head, a large nose and brown eye's. The woman is wearing a brown pants, a purple t-shirt with a lavender sweater above. She has reddish-pink eyes, a small nose, freckles that appear to be disappearing and light blonde hair that is tied into a ponytail.
She replies "I'm fine but what are you doing all alone in the forest without your parents and speaking of your parents, where are they". The young boy doesn't respond but a few tears fall from his face. The woman instantly understands that his parent's were a touchy subject so she asks "why don't you come with us to our house until we can give you to a local orphanage" but that's when the man speaks "honey, we can't just take him". She replies "what should we do leave him to die, we have to take him home, do you want him to die". The man reluctantly agrees "fine" he gestures to our white haired protagonist "come on".
A few minutes later they arrive at a house where they see toys on the ground and a boomerang on the roof. There were bikes on the side of the house. They enter and immediately they hear loud noises and yelling. The woman enters and yells "girls were back and we have a guest" and immediately five girls rush downstairs at the word guest. The girls hug their mother and a five year old girl say "who's the guest? is it pop pop?". The woman responds "no it's not pop-pop. It's a boy we found in the forest when we were going on our morning walk." Lincoln walks out from behind the man. Another girl asks "what's his name" and the man responds "we don't know" he looks at Lincoln and says "say, what is your name anyway". He responds.
"My name is Lincoln or my nickname sonic."
