A/N:
One review asked if Bella would have been as confident without the switch, and I guess that depends. Technically, without the switch would be the canon Saga, so that would be a no, but say I had written this story but without the switch, I'd still have to say no. Perhaps eventually because I like confident leading ladies and I would have built her confidence gradually.
Let's jump to the next chapter :D

How will Bella cope with suddenly being a 104-year-old mind-reading vampire in love with her singer? And how will Edward cope with being a human in love with a vampire?

Chapter 87
Bella exited the shower and the en-suite bathroom to the guest room the Denalis had provided for her and Edward while they stayed with them, and she'd barely taken a step into the main room before he was behind her, kissing her neck where a few droplets remained.
"Bold choice of you," he said softly. "Walking into our room in nothing but a towel. How'd you expect me to keep my hands to myself?"
She let out a small laugh. "Didn't it cross your mind that I, perhaps, didn't want you to keep your hands to yourself?" She turned and locked her arms around his neck. "It's my last night as a human. I think we should take advantage of that."
He smiled and leaned down to kiss her, which she happily reciprocated. "You won't mind that our cousins will definitely hear everything?" Once they'd begun exploring their newfound sexual hunger again after they switched back, the only time Bella had shown any insecurity was when she knew there were others in the house, but now, she shook her head.
"The only thing I want to care about tonight is you; us. Being with you like this for the last time before we throw ourselves into the fray. Before everything changes."
"I can't argue with that," he said and took her in his arms so he could lay her down on their bed. Since the towel was the only fabric on her body, it took very little effort for him to get her naked, but he refused to rush. In less than twenty-four hours, she would experience the worst pain in her entire life—a pain she'd only tasted after James bit her—and he wanted to provide her with as much pleasure as he possibly could before then.
He took his sweet time, touching and kissing every little inch of her that he could reach, paying extra attention to the spots he'd discovered was her most sensitive and enhanced the pleasure he provided.
Unlike in their other universe, when he'd been human and found it disheartening that she couldn't feel his touch to the fullest, he reveled in how she reacted to everything he did with moans and gasps and soft sighs. She was already flushing red before he'd even begun to undress himself.
"Edward, please, you're driving me crazy," she breathed out and he finally relented, ridding himself of his clothes and joining her on the bed and allowing her to wrap her legs around his hips.
When they became one, he was taking in every second of her expression. "I'll never tire of that," he whispered in her ear, which made her shiver and tighten her grip on him.
They were wrapped up in their own little bubble where the two of them were the only ones to exist, and they remained in it as they approached the end together.
