As they stood their heels dug into the soft petals and dirt below, creating indents and crushing petals below them, part of them wanted to weep for the flowers they had so carelessly stepped on but the other half wanted to step on them more
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" asked a broken down robotic sunflower, he brushed another tendril against his horns making sparks go everywhere,
The strange flower seemed familiar but they couldn't put their robotic finger on it maybe it was just the fact that he radiated a strange signal
"Aren't you gonna answer me? I planned this for ages! Even before you were made" he started to get closer to them
They made a eerie static noise
"It seems like your voice chip is broken, oh that's so sad," flwy said while morphing his face to that of a snouted animal and making it cry oil.
He suddenly stopped "hey you're new here right? That means you need to learn how to survive all the creatures here"
his voice distorted as his face turned around as he got up close to them, his eyes all black except for the tiniest dot of blinking red but he quickly changed them back to white,
"Oops so- sorry didn't mean to do that, you're not mad are you" couple tears came out before he rubbed a robotic leaf along the side of their face
"Oh looky here what i found" he said as he rubbed a leaf along the metal plates showing off their model name
"H3N? oooh so fancy" he mocked them before looking at what model of robot they were "a showstopper bot!? That means you're the same type as rust bucket. But, Who would throw you away? You're still so new and shiny! Welp let's test that nice coat of paint and see if it does its job right and protects you"
A white soul with red parts seemed to come out of nowhere
"That's your soul the very culmination of your being and self" he created a couple of bullets then he attempted to hit H3N with it but missed
"Haha is that all you can do? That's pretty useless" H3N glitched out
"Shut up i'm the bad guy i'm supposed to be killing you so i can be all powerful"
They laughed even more
"Tha- thats the- the worst plan ev- ever"
"What am I doing? I can't play the villain right! I'm sorry! Im useless" he cried as he tried to cover his face with his petals
"Don't cry kiddo" they comforted for once in their own voice as they rubbed a hand over his metallic petals gently, he cried louder and pressed his face to their arm "shh, shh" they rubbed a hand comfortingly against the back of his head as he stopped crying and looked up
"I'm sorry for trying to kill you" he mumbled his quiet apology as hen kept shushing him "i- I just thought that if i did- did this and brought my fath- father your soul he'd acknowledge me as his son and not treat me like a nuisance, but i guess that's just wishful thinking"
He wrapped around their arm quietly as they got up and started walking towards the exit when toriel appeared,
"I thought I heard a commotion over here! Was that dreaded weed giving you some trouble?" She asked politely before noticing FLWY and giving him a stare of disdain
"It seems like weed has attached itself to you. Move away from it so I may not harm you, my child." She summoned a small flame as FLWY hid behind H3N.
"Do- don't hurt them-" they held FLWY close
"I said to move my child!" She commanded.
They walked out past toriel and into the ruins
"Get back here!" toriel yelled to them
They wanted to go back so badly to cry in her arms and call her mother, but they couldn't cry or scream, so they just went back and lay on the flowers before her
"What are you doing back here?" FLWY demanded to know.
They didn't answer, and just let out small squeaking, wheezing noises
"Please tell me you didn't just break yourself by rolling into the flowers"
"Leave them alone weed!" toriel swatted at FLWY as she went up close to them and patted them
It startled FLWY when they stopped the noise because their screen went dark and they just lay still
"You Broke Them!" He screamed
"It seems I may have," she said without guilt
FLWY was about to say something when he got interrupted by H3N screaming
"Are you okay?!
He seemed concerned
They stood up again, feeling awake for the first time; this time when their heels dug into the ground again, they felt the flowers under them as FLWY
Panicked beside them.
"Flowey?" They spoke an unfamiliar name,
"No, it's FLWY pronounced like flowy!" He stated angrily
Toriel grabbed their hand and started leading them through to the ruin's entrance
"This way
my child" she walked up the stairs
After they got into the room, they broke from her grip. They walked over to the star. They reached out with one hand and touched it.
Suddenly a light shone everywhere
"What are you doing?" FLWY asked, confusion visible on his face
They beeped in response before going up the stairs to toriel and entering the ruins
