Chapter 5 :

Shreya was taking rounds when she felt as if someone hold her leg and she was about to fall with a scream, but Daya hold her in his arms. All looks at them and they look into each other eyes. She saw spirit trying to touch daya but failed. She widens her eyes and looks at daya with questions in her eyes, but she was gets lost in those black eyes of daya. Abhi feels wired looking at them like this. Daya was looking deep into Shreya eyes and her heart was finally at peace by holding her in his arms.

Spirit grinds his teeth in anger and screams loudly.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

One of the Light Blast in the Bureau and it was dark in the bureau.

Shreya clenches Daya shirt tightly with her hands which were on his arms. Daya feels Shreya's pain.

Ye lights ko Kya hogaya? Said Abhi

Main dekhta hoo sir. said Rajat and was about to move when he feel someone holding his hand.

He tries to move but was not able to do anything. Abhi feels uneasy and it was same case with everyone in the bureau. The Bureau feels cool as ice, the things start shaking. Daya feels as if someone is touch him, he out abhi but there is no answer. Shreya was aware of this silent and the cool atmosphere, she was worried for everyone. Daya and Shreya stand up slowly they were confused as there was no response from anyone.

She also calls but there was no response, Daya take a step forward and she keep calling.

Bhaiyaaaa, Tarika aap sab log ho yaha pe?

Boss? Called Daya.

Tum sirf meri ho aur kisi ki nahi Jhanvi aur agar insab ki jaan ki parhwa hain to chali jau yaha warna.

Spirit whispers in Shreyas ears and she was terrified and again a sound comes of glass breaking.

Lights gets switched on. Nikhil was at the entrance with watchmen, all looks at him. Daya was standing in between, and all were around him. Shreya was back of him and was trembling.

Aap sab theek hain? Aur ye khidki kaise tuti? Asked Nikhil entering. All looks at window and Daya then looks at abhi and speak

Boss.. Tum theek ho? Tum mein se koi kuch keh kyu nahi raha tha?

Ye kya keh rahe ho tum? Main kab se tumse hi baat kara tha? Said Abhi confused at daya question.

Daya sir aap hame jawab nahi de rahe the. Said Rajat

Par main to.. he looks at Shreya trembling, he walks up to her unconsciously.

Tum theek ho Shreya? Itna ghabrai hui kyu ho? Asked daya

She looks at him and asa they feel pain again around they wrist. But her heart beats feel at rest. Abhi looks at them awkwardly and say.

Ye kya ho raha hain yaha? Daya looks at him and again at Shreya and then at all and try to say but was cut by Purvi..

Aap sab logo ko thand nahi lagri?

All were feeling dam cold.

Wahi baat hain . Bureau ke central AC system mein koi wiring ki problem hain isliye wacthmen batane aaya tha lekin humne aap sab ki chilla ki awaaz suni yaha bhag ke aaye to adhere tha pura. Aur aap mein se kisi ne kuch nahi kaha sirf Daya sir aur Shreya ki awaaz aarahi thi. Phir ye Khidki tutgaayi. Said Nikhil

Par Nikhil Rajat ne door khone ki koshish ki par door lock tha. Aur hum sab Shreya aur Daya sir ko bula rahe the. Wo nahi sun rahe the aur tum kuch aur hi bata rahe ho. Said Sachin

Par Sachin sir. Said Nikhil

Mujhe bhar jaan hain. Said Shreya

All looks at her, she again rephrase her sentence.

I mean mujhe bhar khuli hawa mein jaana hain. Yaha bohut thand hain.

Haa hum sab jaate hain said tarika.

Par jo Nikhiil aur daya sir keh rahe hain wo? Asked Rajat

Rajat sir please badmein baat karte hain abhi thand se kuch samjh nahi aara. Said Purvi

Haa chalo bhar jaate hain. Said Abhi

Everyone was still confused and looks at each other. AbhiDaya share a look. All move out and were standing at treace. Daya and Nikhil gets coffee for everyone, and all were having sip. Daya looks at everyone thinking something and says.

Tumlog bhi na aise chup hogaye jaise koi saap sungaya ho.

Par waha kuch to tha na Daya? Aise laga do alag duniya chal rahi hain. Said Abhi

Bilkul, tumhare aur Nikhil ke hisab se ek aur hum sab ke hisab se ek. Said Tarika

Sir koi bhoot to nahi tha? Asked Freddy

Ho sakta hain, aise achanak itni thad ka aana wo khidki ka kanch ka tutna aur ek dum se sab kaise chup hogaya the? Said Pankaj.

Shreya looks at them horrified; she can clearly see the fear in they eyes the different feeling which felt when she started having the spirit faceoffs. She did not want them to go through the same things which she had gone through.

Abh bas kijiye aap log. Said Shreya.

All looks at her, she then looks at daya and as they eyes met they feel pain again and then she takes a deep breath and Daya continue.

Sahi keh rahi hain wo, (He looks at Nikhil and cont) ek chote se maazak ko tumlogo ne bhoot ki khaani hi bana di. Said daya

Maazak? Asked Rajat

Haa.. tum sab ne maazak kiya to maine aur Nikhil ne bhi kiya bas Shreya ko hamare saath mila liya. Humne suna tha sab, wo Rajat ka daar waze ke pass jaana aur uska lock hona aur sari baatein. Hum bas chate the ki Shreya ka phela din Rajat ko ache se yaad rahe. Said daya winking at Rajat.

Nikhil looks at him with questing looks and abhi asks

Daya kya bol raha hain tu?

Wo theek keh rahe hain bhai. Aise hi hua wo jab aap sab log bhar jaane ka plan bana rahe the tab 2-minute ke liye main Nik.. Nikhil (trying to guess the correct names) aur sir.. I mean Da.. Daya sir se milke ye plan banaya tha. Right Sir? Said Shreya

Daya nodded..

Par tum to pura time hamare saath thi na. said Purvi

Wo jab maine welcome kiya tha Shreya ko tabhi baat kithi. Added Nikhil

All took a deep sigh and said

Main to dar hi gaaya tha said Freddy

Haa wo kanch ka tutna aur thand aur Nikhil ki baatein se to aisa laga jaise kuch ajeeb hua waha pe. Said Rajat

Haa wo thand and kacnh coincidently tota but situation pe perfectly fit hua. Said Daya

Daya tumne to jaan hi nikal di meri, main sabki chinta karne laga tha ek paal ke liye to aisa laga jaise kisine meri awaaz chin li hain. Said Abhi

Mere to haath pakad liya tha. Said Rajat

Mujhe to saas hi nahi aarahi thi. Said Purvi

Before anyone could say anything Daya interpreted.

Wo sab chodo ek kaam karo sab ghar jao aaj waise bhi koi case nahi aaya aur AC theek hone mein bhi waqt lagega. Main yaha rukta hu kuch hoga to bula lunga. Warna shamko restaurant mein milte hain.

Haa tum sab jao. Added Abhi

Abhijeet tum bhi jao. Shreya nayi hain tum raho uske saath kuch hoga to I will call you. Said Daya

Sure? Asked Abhi

Daya nodded and all started leaving, Nikhil stooped there.

Nikhil tum bhi jao. Said Daya

Nahi. Main aapke saath rahunga said Nikhil, all turned back and smiled, daya knew Nikhil had question for him. Still he nodded and all left.

There were people repairing window glass and AC at bureau.

Daya was standing near the beside window and thinking rubbing his wrist. Nikhil tabs his shoulder and handing him coffee mug, he says

Sir Karaka Ilaake mein ek khoon hua hain.

To hum yaha kya kar rahe hain? Chalo sab ko phone karke batao aane ke liye. Said Daya looking at Nikhil

Sir wo case solve hoagya, khooni ne khud aapne aap ko surrender kardiya hain. Isliye wo Karaka police station ke inspector handle kar rahe hain. Said Nikhil

Acha. Koi shaq ki baat nahi hain? I mean wo confession sahi hain ya koi pressure? Ya aisa ho sakta hain kisi aur ne kiya ho. Asked Daya

Nahi sir wo sahi hain. Self defense mein khoon hogaya aur hamari zarurath nahi hain ismein involve hone ki. Said Nikhil

Hmm.. said daya taking coffee sip, Nikhil was staring at daya when daya takes a sigh and continue

Mujhe pata hain tumhare dil mein sawal hain Nikhil. Said daya

Phir aap jawab kyu nahi dere. Asked Nikhil

Kya bolu jab khud nahi pata ki kya ho raha hain. Said Daya

Aapne Abhijeet sir se Shreya wali baat chupai hain, aap to unse kuch nahi chupate na? asked Nikhil

Shreya ke saath kuch hora hain Nikhil aur jab tak main usse nahi jaan leta main abhi ko nahi batana chata. Tumne maine aur Shreya ne kuch alag pal jive abhi tak bureau mein baki log alag pal mein the jaisa Abhi ne kaha. Said Daya

Sir wahi to main keh raha hoon. Aapne jhoot kyu bola? Asked Nikhil again

Kyu ki wo sab pareshan the? Sab ki halat dekhi thi na?maine wo sab dekhke kaha jo bhi kaha aur waise bhi ek CID officer ko bina baat ke un cheezo pe dhayan nahi dena chaiye jo nahi hain. Completed daya

Nikhil nodded as he understood Daya concern for everyone. But he again continued his question which were not yet answered.

Sir mujhe aisa lag raha hain jaise aap kcuh aur bhi chupa rahe hain. Asked again Nikhil

Kya matlabh hain tumhara? Asked Daya

Mujhe se bhi chupa rahe hain aur apne aap se bhi Sir. Nikhil stated.

Maine pucha matlabh kya hain tumhara? Daya irritatedly asked

Shreya aur Rajat ko dkehke aap uncomfortable hain na? aap alag behave kar rahe hain jaise ki Shreya ko aapse koi cheen raha ho?

Kya bakwas kar rahe ho Nikhil. Shreya Abhijeet ki bhen hain aur Rajat ki hone wali life partner. Said Daya irritatedly.

Hone wali, hui nahi aur waise bhi Shreya ko dekhke aise lagta hain jaise usse insab ke baramein nahi pata. Wo to kisi aur hi baat ko leke pareshan hain said Nikhil

Bohut hua Nikhil, Shreya ko yaha aaye hua do din hua hain aur tumhe lagta hain mujhe wo pasand hain? Crossed question daya

Maine pasand to kaha hi nahi sir. Smirked Nikhil and daya glared at him.

Waise bhi aapne suna nahi kya pheli nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hain.. aisa aaj bhi hota hain pheli baar milte hi pasand, pyaar hota hain sir. Said smiling Nikhil

Stop it Nikhil, tumhe nahi pata tum kya bol rahe ho. Said daya shouting.

Sir main bas kehraha hu ki cheezo ko complicate hone se phele sulja dijiye, Abhijeet sir aapke sabse ache dost hain aur Rajat sir mere aur aap hi to kehte hain na hum ek parivaar hain to.. Daya cut Nikhil in between

main apne dost ka bharosa nahi todunga kabhi.. itna to jane to hona tum mujhe Nikhil? Asked daya

Sir aap ye baat mujhe se keh rahe hain ya apne aap se? asked Nikhil

Enough mujhe aur kuch baat nahi karni. said daya

Theek hain sir main iss baremein kuch nahi kahunga jab tak aap khud iss baat pe gaur nahi karte lekin aap itna to mante hain na ki Shreya ke saath kuch theek nahi hain.

Nikhil.. shouted Daya

Maine suna tha jab wo hamare.. I mean aapke ghar pe thi. Stated Nikhil

Kya suna? Asked daya with concern

Sir wo neend mein kisi Arjun ko bula rahi thi usse dhund rahi thi aur keh rahi thi wo usse milna chati hain kehrahi thi uss Arjun se ki wo iss baar wo apne pyaar ko apne risto ke peeche na rakhe. Meri samajh nahi aaya wo kehna kya chaiti hain. Asked Nikhil with wonder look

Ye arjun kaun hain? Wondered Daya

Abh wahi to nahi pata. Agar Shreya se akele mein milke baat hojaye to pata chale ki chal kya raha hain. Said Nikhil

Par.. Daya was thinking something

Sir please aapne dekha sab ke saath kya hua? Hum CID officers hain sach ka jaana hamare liye zaruri hain hum waqt ka intezar nahi karte hum waqt ko apne hisab se chalate hain. Shreya hame kal mili aur abh tak itna sab hoagya. Main ye nahi kehraha hu ki Shreya galat hain lekin kuch to hain jo galat hain. Hame ye jaana zaruri hain ki baat kya hain. Hame usski help karni chaiye agar wo sach mein koi musibat mein hui to problem hogi. said Nikhil Daya looked at him

Sir phele mujhe tha shak Shreya pe, mujhe laga tha ki kuch gadbad hain jab wo hamare.. I mean aapke ghar se aise chali gaayi to, par abh aisa lagra ki wo kuch musibat mein hain jo sirf aap aur main dekh pa rahe hain baki koi nahi. Said Nikhil convincing Daya

Tum sahi keh rahe ho Nikhil. Main pata nahi kya soch raha tha lekin yahi sahi hoga agar koi hame sach tak jaane se rok raha hain to hame ye pata karna hi hoga wo kaun hain aur kya hain. Aur baat rahi Abhijeet aur baki sab se sach chupane ki to wo jab tak chupayenge jab tak Shreya ki pareshani ki wajha nahi janjaate. Said Daya

Nikhil nodded.

Sir kaam hogaya. Said one of the worked. Nikhil moved to lookinto the things.

Daya smiled looking at his brother who was making mindful arguments. Nikhil was always cheerful but due one sudden event he has become silent, Daya wanted him to open up to him and act according to the situation which he is doing.
