So, here I am with another chapter for Shifting! Last one was weird and crazy which is half the fun! So I'll try to employ some shorter, crazy chapters. While I will still have some bigger ones or two partners, some random ones will still be showing up!

Aside from that, feel free to check out my other stories if you like!

Chapter 26: Halloween II: The Return of Turkey Face

Universe HW-48-666T.

Outskirts of Fayetteville, West Virginia. October 31st

Night had fallen upon the forest outside the small city of Fayetteville. A relatively peaceful community of six thousand, it boasted serene forests, pristine rivers and a locally historic bridge that spanned the local gorge.

But, even prosperous towns like this had stories and abandoned buildings.

For Fayetteville, it was the derelict meat processing plant ten miles outside the city.

The rumbling of a truck came from the old factory road, the pavement overgrown with moss and grass as a yellow moon hung above. Several snaking roots had started to bulge the cracking asphalt, making it uneven and desolate. Doors opened, the hinges well oiled as a well built high schooler emerged. Dressed in a white shirt and blue ascot, the jock grinned as the others quickly climbed out of the truck. Grabbing an old backpack from the vehicle, the young man hefted it over his shoulders.

"Seriously Chuck? I though we were going to Beth's party? What are we doing at the old meat plant?" Cindy inquired with an annoyed tone. Crossing her arms beneath her sizable bust, the slim and toned cheerleader had decided to dress as a sexy catwoman.

"Come on, Cindy. Get in the mood of fright and ghouls. Or are you too scared?" Rick teased, the young man already climbing out of the truck. Dressed in a dark blue police man's uniform with 'RPD' emblazoned on the front, his grin grew impish as he poked his girlfriend in the side.

"Hey! Watch the hands or nothing happens later, buster" Swatting her boyfriend's hand away, the brunette was satisfied as her boyfriend feigned shock. Dressed in a red jacket with angel wings on the back and matching shorts, the teenage girl was also sporting a weapon harness for a fake shotgun.

"I have to agree with Cindy, though. Just why are we here?" a lanky man asked, his ragged pants and green shirt adding to the mop of sandy brown hair. Pulling a bag of chips from his pocket, the teenager began to eat like an endless pit of hunger. "Zoinks…those are some good chips"

"Frank man, you're really pulling off Shaggy this year" Rick added while making a cocking sound with his fake gun.

"Would've been better if you had all gone with my theme" Digging more chips out, Frank continued to eat as the last female hopped out of the truck bed. Flourishing her black dress and pointed hat, Amber was the personification of a witch…including staff. Hugging her nicely, Amber had the looks and appeal to usually make young men stumble and fumble in admiration. With raven black hair that fell down her back, she finally looked up at the abandoned factory.

Broken windows and overgrowth crawled up the rusting metallic walls of the exterior, an endless connection of vines and strands that ravaged the property. Blocky and square, the structure was dark and foreboding. To the left, the unloading docks were overgrown as a lone, abandoned semi truck sat on eaten away wheels. Rusted and spraypainted with graffiti, it was obvious somebody had vandalized in the past.

"Creepy…"

"Yeah! So come on, let's get in there" Lifting up the 'No Trespassing' sign that screamed with rust and motion, Chuck walked past the old guard house and low retaining wall that had surrounded the property.

"What? No way! I'm not going in there!" Cindy shouted, the blonde girl attempting to take a stand.

"Come on Cindy. It's just the abandoned meat plant. Teens like us have been coming here for decades" Frank added as he walked past, the lanky man discarding the bag of chips.

Looking around as her friends started to leave her, Cindy rushed forward as the darkness of the forest seemed to swallow the night. Wrapping her arms around her shoulders, the blonde felt nervous as Chuck lifted up the padlock to the front door.

"Already broken" Smirking as he pulled the rusting chains away, Chuck pushed open the rusting doors as they screamed in protest.

"Gross" Claire commented as she pulled out a flashlight, illuminating decades of dust and neglect. Stepping further into the lobby, shafts of moonlight poured through broken windows. Illuminating the ancient reception desk, Claire momentarily concentrated on an old phone, the piece of technology still off the handle.

"I still can't believe this place has been here since the seventies. Look, they didn't even have a computer for the secretary" Amber pointed out, the witch walking slowly forward as abandoned hallways loomed to the left and right.

"Heh. This is boring. Let's check out the factory floor where they killed everything" Chuck suggested as he moved toward some double doors.

"Let's not? We've explored and looked around. Lets just go to Beth's party already" Cindy added with a sense of nervousness and climbing dread. Movement at the corner of her vision had the young woman jump, her small shriek adding to the tense atmosphere.

"It's just a rat, Cindy. You really need to relax…" Chuck grinned before pushing into the main factory floor.

"Just stay close to me alright? It just an old building and the guys just want their fun. We'll poke around a bit then get going" Claire smiled while setting a supporting hand on the blondes shoulder.

"O..okay" Gulping, Cindy nervously walked, following the others into the main factory.

The gloomy darkness was only punctuated by shafts of moonlight filtering through dirty windows at the top of the wall and Claires lone flashlight. Falling upon conveyor belts that were rotting away, the moonlight nearly hid the hanging meat hooks that lined the back of the wall.

"Could you imagine the smell of this place? All the blood and guts?" Chuck laughed as he pointed toward an elevated walkway and refuse chute. Feeing into a rusting vat, the teenager climbed the rusting stairs to look in.

"I bet this is where they ground up all the meat. Isn't that right, Cindy?"

"Shut. Up"

Laughing at himself, Chuck glanced down at his friends, especially the girls who all seemed to have a newfound sense of nervousness. "Say…have you heard of Jack Handy?"

"Who?" Amber asked, the witch nervously looking around as a few rats scurried.

"You know…the reason they shut this place down?" Strolling along the catwalk they groaned with protest, the impersonator of Fred was lit by falling moonlight as his face became insidious. "They say that he worked here. But went…crazy…" Walking down the steps on the other side, Chuck leaned against the meat vat, slapping the rusting metal with a palm.

Amber and Cindy jumped slightly, the noise causing a soft heave of their bosoms.

"You see, Jack Handy was a family man. But, Thanksgiving was coming. So, being the loving husband and father he was, he asked for the time off" Smirking, Chuck hefted himself onto the nearby conveyor line. "His bosses denied it of course…said he had to work. Well…old Jack didn't like that. So, on the day he had requested off…he snapped. Killed his manager and three co-workers. Then, to avoid the police, he jumped into this vat right here…got ground up. And they say some of his meat was shipped to a dozen different stores…"

"Bullshit man. You're just making that up" Rick said simply, the sandy haired male not buying his friends story.

"No! It's true! And If you say his name three times…he comes back. Jack Handy…"

"Come on, stop it" Amber pleaded, the witch not really liking this turn of events.

"Jack Handy…"

"JACK HANDY!" Slamming his palm against the vat once more, the girls screamed…only to have Chuck fall on the floor, laughing.

"OH MAN! You should've seen how scared you all loo-"

"Jackkkk Handdyyyy…."

"Seriously man. We know its bullshit. No need to keep going" Frank said with annoyance as the word repeated.

"Jaacckkk Haannnddyyyy…"

"Uh…yeah. That wasn't me" Chuck said, the young man admitted as he slowly stood up, wiping off his shirt.

Flickers of red sparks erupted from the meat grinding vat, the pulses random and growing brighter with each passing second.

"NOPE!" Turning and running, Cindy grabbed Claire's and Ambers hands, instantly pulling them along toward the exit. Fear in her eyes as red strands of lightning snapped and howled, the terrified cheerleader didn't even look back.

"Hey Chuck? I think we should get out of here" Rick suggested, the young man taking a few cautious steps backwards along with Frank who looked on in fright.

"Why? You two made some great special effects! I had no idea you two planned this! You even got the girls to run in fright!" Laughing boisterously, the blonde teenager approached the vat as demonic red light pulsed through the opening, stabbing through the roof in a sudden explosion.

"WE DIDN'T DO THIS! GET AWAY FROM THERE!" Frank howled as a massive figure finally climbed out. Landing a few feet from the now terrified Chuck, the monstrosity stood erect.

Towering nearly seven feet tall, the only clothing were some tattered black pants with a large, square brass buckle. Bare chested as rippling muscles like Zeus quivered with power, the being clutched a hatchet in his right hand. Moving upward, the head was covered by a pilgrim hat, the black material almost swallowing any illumination.

"Dude…You smell like rotting meat" Chuck commented nervously, the teen walking backwards as the man approached. Stepping into a shaft of moonlight, his face was finally revealed. Stitched together from random pieces of meat and flesh, the lips were more of a beak while avian eyes glared out hatred.

"I have returned…finally…TURKEY FACE IS REBORN!" Shrieking out a gobble, the monster hefted the hatchet and lunged, immediately bringing it down on Chuck. Head splitting in half, fresh gore and matter splattered across the old factory floor. "Your meat…turkey…meat…" Hacking at the twitching body, the monster worked as Rick and Frank let out manly screams…then promptly ran out of the factory.

"OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT!" Rick cried out as the young man ran through the lobby to the front doors.

"Zoinks, Man! That thing killed Chuck!"

"Turkey-FACE!"

"What happened!?" Amber asked from the back of the truck, the witch showing a growing sense of fear. Only seeing two of the males, she huddled close to Cindy.

"IT KILLED CHUCK! SERIOUSLY! HE'S DEAD! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Rick howled as he climbed into the drivers seat. "Shit! Where's the keys!?"

"Chuck had them!" Claire howled as she looked back at the meat processing plant with terror. Perring through the darkness as more flashes of red light erupted from the factory, she squinted her eyes as the large figure emerged from the plant…holding the severed head of Chuck.

Warbling gobbles slid across the night, permeating the air with fear.

"DRIVE RICK! DRIVEEEE!" Cindy screamed as the terrified blonde tried to make herself invisible.

"Turkey…MEAT!"

"I NEED THE KEYS!" Howling in panicked fear, the representation of the Resident Evil hero couldn't think of anything.

*Pop…POP! Pop! POPP!"

Flashes of blue and yellow dust appeared right before Cindy, Amber and Frank huddling in the truck bed, adding more terror as Turkey Face started to march across the overgrown parking lot with his bloody hatchet.

A flash of pulsing light dropped four women into the truck bed, each wearing a summer bikini. A tangle of limbs, arms and scantily clad females with very large breasts fell haphazardly. Landing lewdly, Kagura was almost pinned by Erza, their bosoms pressed against each other as they momentarily stared into each other's eyes before moving away in rapidity.

"That asshole…Did he really have to kick Levy at me?" Mira asked as she struggled to push the groaning blunette off of her. Instantly feeling the chill of the air as the bikini did little to fight the lower temperatures, Mira hit a few buttons on her wrist mounted digi-struct device. A fresh glow wrapped her in gear armor, her weapons strapped to the back plate as the others did the same.

"Ugh…I swear I'm going to kill that fucker…whatever his useless name was…uh…ragman" Levy groused while rubbing her head. Picking up her LMG, she stood erect with the bayonet glistening under the moonlight as her personal shields gave a light shimmer.

"OH GOD! YOU'RE GOING TO KILL US TOO!" Cindy shrieked, the cries coming from the blonde girl and nearby Amber filing the air.

"Uh…what?" Erza asked with a cocked eyebrow, the red head studying the two females and terrified man huddled in the truck bed.

"FRResshhH Turkeyyy MEAAT!"

The insidious whisper drew the attention of the four, the women instantly bringing up their weapons.

"Holy fuck…IT'S TURKEY FACE! And he's back for revenge!" Levy shouted before leveling her LMG at the approaching man. Firing a stream of bullets that flashed and screamed through the air, the rounds ripped through the muscular flesh of the pilgrim hat wearing demon.

"I DON'T REMEMBER HIM!" Kagura shouted as she too, laid down a hail of gunfire.

"It was that thing with Holloween Jack and the Panda ninja! But who cares! MJ, get this truck moving!" Levy shouted as the beast collapsed, his hatchet falling from his grasp right near the guard house.

"Got it" Moving around the truck, Mira pushed the young man out of the seat, crowding the cabin.

"Who are you!?" Claire asked with a very confused and terrified shout.

"Doesn't matter! Just shut up and let me hotwire this bitch!" Ripping away part of the steering column, Mira went to work as her three friends stayed in the truck bed. Having done this dozens of times, Mira was very rapid in the effort as the large truck soon roared to life.

"Gobble…GOBBLEE!" Rising up as his wounds started to shrink and heal with sickening stitching, Turkey Face grasped his hatchet…and flung it toward the truck bed in a spinning arc of death. Passing the three heavily armed women, it embedded in Franks chest, spreading a spray of ichor over Cindy and Amber. Screaming at the fact the blood of her friend now coated half her face, Amber let out a terrified howl.

"Uh…Zoinks…man…"

"Meeeatt…" Clutching his hand as it glowed red, the distant hatchet pulled upward, taking Frank back to the monster in a pull of horrific energy.

Mira didn't wait, slamming her foot down on the accelerator. Dirt and old gravel spun, kicking up as she lit up the high-beams. Racing down the old factory road, she weaved past trees as moonlight poured down.

"I'm sorry about your friend" Mira stated, the woman slowing a bit to take a light turn.

"We lost Chuck too. Seriously! What the hell is going on!? And where did you come from!?" Claire shouted, the teenager obviously terrified.

"Multiverse travelers. Shift from universe to universe. And we have..." Mira looked down, checking the timer. "About five hours and change"

Levy peered out at the woods, her mood foul as the truck raced along the old road. "Can't believe I missed the whole beach thing! Dammit! So much drinking time lost!"

"I think we have bigger issues like that undying Turkey man that has a mindlocked psychic hatchet" Kagura reminded the shorter woman as the truck jounced onto the main road, narrowly missing another driver with a screech of tires.

"Says you…" All that drinking time…gone…" Wallowing at the loss, Levy studied Erza for a moment, then the two terrified and shocked teenagers. "You have blood on your face"

"Uahh…uahh…" Amber tried to say, only to have a terrified stutter emerge as she wiped some away.

"We…we need to get the police! They'll be abl—"

"They'll only get killed by that thing. Whatever it is just took a few dozen rounds center mass and it only slowed it down for half a minute. Levy, you seem to know this…Turkey Face?"

Rubbing the back of her head, Levy tried to smile. "Kinda? I mean, we shifted away before I could really fight it. And…of course, magic for us doesn't work here…again. Fuck, we could just have Kagura use her gravity and crush that SOB if that was the case" Pausing, the shorter woman then pointed at her two friends. "Seriously! You two don't remember this guy?"

"Doesn't ring a bell. But then, all the madness sort of bleeds together at this point" Kagura replied as Mira took another turn, the centrifugal force pushing her against the left side of the bed.

"Our friends…" Cindy wailed, the poor girl barely holding it together as the truck drove across the gorge bridge crossing the local river far below.

"Hey, your still alive, so be thankful for that" Erza tried to comfort…which only resulted in a fresh wave of bawling.

"Anyway" Levy continued, the crying dismissed. "We should try to evacuate the nearby area and figure out a way to kill this thing. Odds are it's going to keep hunting"

"Probably the best idea. Though, I'm sure dozens will still die" Erza stated nonchalantly while leaning back, her red hair flowing in the night.

"RUN! EVERYBODY RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" Cindy howled from the truck's bed with Amber, the witch and dressed catwoman trying to warn any passerby. Most were kids out trick or treating, others simple teenagers giving them the finger and just laughing about it.

"THIS ISN'T A TRICK! RUNNN!" Cindy shouted at a group, only to get a 'Fuck you, bitch' in response. Crying as the truck took a sharp turn down main street, it passed numerous shops and businesses decorated for the festive night.

Orange and black bunting, random skeletons and ghouls…the whole town was taking part as vehicle traffic crawled along the ribbon of blacktop.

"There! The police station is there!" Claire practically screamed out as Mira raced the truck through the small city, ignoring traffic laws and stop signs like they weren't even there. Screeching to a stop in front of several parked squad cars, Mira opened the door as Rick, Claire, Amber and Cindy poured out. Sprinting to the front door, the four teenagers yanked it open, almost bowling over an old man as they raced inside.

Covered in the blood of Frank, Amber was the first to reach the desk sergeant, her eyes a frantic mix. "THEY'RE DEAD! Chuck and Frank are dead! Killed by Turkey Face!"

Cocking an eyebrow, Officer Daniels already took on a disbelieving look. "Really? A serial killer on Holloween? You do know that making this stuff up could land you in lots of trouble, right?"

"We aren't making it up! I'm covered in his blood!" Cindy shrieked, the blonde girl frantic with fear.

Sighing, Daniels shook his head. "Do you know how many prank calls we get tonight? How many reports from old Misses Kentrick because she thinks half this stuff is real? Hell, an hour ago we sent out two officers because she reported a mummy breaking her flower pots. Ends up just some racoon rooting through her garbage. Now you kids get out of here and go play your prank on someone else"

"No way…NO WAY! Throw us in jail if you have to, but we aren't leaving until you believe us!"

Letting out another weary sigh of annoyance, Daniels leaned back in his chair. "Hey Jeffers! Got some kids that want to report a serial murderer is on the loose!" Getting a curse in response, Daniels hit the door release as another officer approached from behind the desk. "Go on, tell him what you saw. But once your prank is found out, all four of you are gonna get it"

"Thank you!" Amber pleaded as she led the group further into the station, the safety of the police putting them at ease.

"Gobble…"

Turkey Face reached the main road, his rippling muscles sheening under the moonlight. Flexing with strength and power as he gripped his bloody hatchet, the creature glared down the road. Avian eyes burned with sheer hatred and bloodlust, his stitchwork face of random meats a horror show.

A car passed, honking its horn as the family waved, thinking it was a great costume.

Tilting his pilgrim hat, Turkey Face centered on the distant glow of a town, the lights giving illumination. "Meeatt…" Stepping into the middle of the paved road, he started to walk as his bare feet seemed to click against the surface.

Pouring headlights came from behind Turkey Face, bathing the road as blaring horn blasts rocked the night air. Slowly turning, the creature studied the man inside the cabin as his rage seethed.

"What? Are ya stupid er sumthang? Git out the damn road!" Honking the horn again, the overweight male shouted more profanities.

"Meeatt" Approaching the drivers side window, Turkey face sneered as the man gulped.

"Now listen. I don't want no tr—"

"Gobble!" Raising the hatchet, Turkey Face swung sideways, embedding the blade into the man's neck. Blood spurted from arterial pressure, arching across the road in a spray. Most landed across the muscular torso of the murderer, a slick running of red.

"Glrkkgul…" Getting pulled out of the cab, the man was quickly hacked to death, his body a chopped hell of flesh and bone.

Stepping over the corpse, the creature climbed into the truck, his smile an insidious patchwork of nightmares. Shifting into drive, he smiled. "Time for…THANKSKILLING!" Slamming the accelerator, the tires squealed and smoked as he headed toward the town of Lafayetteville.

The truck rolled to a stop, brakes squealing as fresh blood still dripped from the door. Stepping out, Turkey Face assessed the neighborhood around him. Children laughed and joked, wearing all manner of costumes while parents and home owners handed out candies and treats. Decorations of all kinds covered the neighborhood, a festive tone to the night.

Grasping his hatchet, he tried to determine who would be the first.

Several children passed by, each of them pointing and giggling at the scary man. Fortunately, they were to small to satisfy Turkey Face.

"Excuse me! You can't park that here. This is a closed street for the night! All traffic must be diverted to Elm street then Concord Avenue"

Turning, his avian gaze fell upon the middle aged blonde woman, her plumpness telling a soft life of prosperity. Wearing a pair of brown slacks and a white shirt emblazoned with the name 'Karen' she was already pulling out a phone to record.

"You better listen to me or I'll call the cops and get you canceled!"

Eyes glowering red, the beast turned fully while raising his hatchet. "Giblets!" Swinging down with all his might, he cleaved the arm holding the phone from her elbow, resulting in a horrendous spurt of blood.

"AAAAAUUUGHHH! MY ARM! YOU'RE GETTING CANCELED FOR THIS!"

"Silence…MEAT!" Swinging again as the Karen turned in fear and panic, he embedded the hatchet in the back of her head, silencing the scream as her body crumpled near a fire hydrant. "MEAT! MEAT! MEATTTT!" Hacking furiously at the corpse, gore and ichor flew as several nearby pedestrians realized this was a real attack.

Screams erupted from the area, many parents grabbing their kids and rushing toward their homes while others fled in panic. Buckets of candy were dropped in haste while people ran in manic escape. Lawn decorations of skeletons and monsters were trampled, the flight reducing them to ruin.

Giving one last bloody chop then peeling off part of the dead woman's facial skin, Turkey Face slathered it upon himself, adding to his rage.

"Now that's enough you sunovabitch!" Cocking his shotgun, the elderly man hoisted the weapon as he ran out into his yard, stepping over a forgotten treat pail.

Turkey Face turned, the insidious glare in his red eyes centering on the old timer standing on the next lawn. Dressed like an old farmer, his balding head shone under a nearby streetlamp. Starting to stand, he hissed out a breath of evil while starting to raise his hatchet.

'BOOM!' The shotgun blast ripped through the night, slamming into the hard, muscular flesh. Thrown backwards, his black pilgrim hat flew off, revealing a head of patchwork skin and stitches.

Rushing up, the man fired again point blank, the shot ripping into more of the flesh at close range. Lingering smoke and the stench of gunpowder wafted through the air, adding to the stillness as several terrified homeowners watched from their windows.

"Yeah…That did this stinking commie in" Spitting on the corpse, the old man turned and waved to his neighbors. "I got him!"

"MISTER HALICHEK! WATCH OUT!" a woman screamed from her front door while frantically pointing.

Turning back around, the old man stumbled in shock as the murderer climbed to his feet while the bullet wounds stitched back together. Reaching down to pick up his fallen hat, the avian face peeled back in a deathly sneer.

"I. Am…TURKEY FACE!" Warbling out a sinister gobble, the beast swung his blood soaked hatchet with enough force to cleave the man in two, the halves falling away from each other to plop on the sidewalk with a sickening splat. Intestines and gore pooled, the horror unfolding as sirens warbled in the distance.

Satisfied with the killing, the beast marched forward, his aura of bloodlust and hatred terrifying.

A jar was thrown, filled with rotten eggs as a group of a dozen men and women dressed in pure black and skull facemasks run up with bats. "GHOSTFACERS! GET THIS BAS—"

Turkey Face grabbed the first cloaked member by the throat, lifting him up with ease. Feeling the struggling kicks against his bare, muscular chest now dripping with blood and gore, he snapped the man's neck.

"Oh…Oh shit!" Turning to run, another cloaked man started to sprint down the sidewalk screaming and crying.

"Gobble…gobble…" A voice laced with demonic lust, Turkey Face hefted the hatchet and threw it as hard as he could. Embedding in the mans back, it sank deep into the spine. Raising his hand that glowed a sinister red, the same glow surrounded the weapon as it yanked free with a sickening squelch of muscle and flayed flesh. Flying back into his hand, Turkey Face studied the now frozen remaining ten, each holding a blunt object or fake knife. Most were dressed like the murderer from 'Scream' but they were actually quite terrified at the moment.

"Uh…GET HIM!" The leader screamed out as he ran forward, swinging a crowbar. Striking the hardened muscle with a fleshy thud, the men and women started to beat and swing at the monster.

The blows were insignificant. Standing taller as his bloodlust grew, his nightmare voice sneered out a hell of words.

"Time to make some…stuffing!"

Twisting the hatchet, Turkey Face swung it at the larger belly of a black hooded woman. Sinking into the flesh and guts, he pulled it free as she screamed a horror show of agony. Intestines spilled free, adding to the horror as she collapsed in dying agony.

The sight broke the remaining group, most turning and sprinting for their lives as their screams of terror rose.

Silence reigned for the moment, Turkey Face standing around several bodies as the abandoned street took on a sinister glow. Slowly studying several homes, the monster could sense the movement of hidden families cowering in fear behind locked doors.

But…he had a mission. Turning away from the bloodbath, his face sneered in pleasure, the scars and stitching pulling upward. Gore sliding down his exposed pecs like a river, Turkey Face tried to contain his excitement.

Marching down the sidewalk for several minutes, the summoned maniac grinned maliciously as more built up areas of the city soon presented itself…along with more victims.

Craning his head left to right while curling his cracked avian lips in a snarl, the beast watched the flow of traffic, pedestrians and holiday celebrators walking about in the business district of this town. Eyes taking on a bright red as his bloodlust rose, he gobbled once more.

"TUrkeY…VISION!"

Laser light erupted from the glowing irises, a harsh heat of death and dismemberment that cut a hellish swath through nearly two dozen people. Cars ignited or were cleaved apart while several buildings became engulfed in laser heated flames. Screams and terrified patrons found themselves running, the nightmare of Turkey Face burned into their minds as he marched forward with his bloody hatchet.

Killing a prone man that had his leg severed, the chopping was sickening as the area became a scene of hell.

"Time for a new holiday…THANKSKILLING DAY!" Rushing forward toward a pudgy goth woman, he hacked her to bits as blood and ichor sprayed. "MEAT! MEAT! MEAAAAT!"

Gore splattered his pilgrim hat, souring the golden belt buckle in the middle as his eyes glowed once more at the appearance of a police cruiser. Screeching to a halt, two officers climbed out, immediately pointing their firearms.

"DROP THE WEAPON!"

"Gobble…gobble…Mash…POTATOES!" Roaring the last words, Turkey Face hefted his hatchet, the entire blade a slicken gore dripping with torn flesh.

"FIRE!" Gunfire ripped over the carnage strewn road and twisted dead, slamming center mass into the beast. Wounds ripped open, the passage of slugs flaying flesh.

Staggering forward as the gunfire momentarily ceased, the turkey man laughed, the sound insidious among the roaring flames engulfing several businesses.

"What the hell?" Officer Simpson uttered as the crazed man slowly stood, his wounds stitching back together. Struggling to keep a handle on her horror, the blonde officer kept a tight grip on her weapon as her partner shifted his stance.

Eyes glowing a crimson red, they seemed like the coals of hell as the patchwork face once more twisted.

"TURKEY VISION!"

A laser beam sliced through the air, cleaving the police cruiser in half as metal screeched or became enflamed.

"Shit! We need backup!" Officer Simpson screamed into the radio piece attached to her chest and belt, both of them running down the street toward the next intersection.

More laser blasts ripped through a post office, instantly engulfing the structure as the warbling grew louder.

"Feast…FEAST! THANKSKILLING FEASSST!"

Chopping an already killed man dressed as a zombie, the manic creature garbled another howl as he continued his march forward.

Two women covered in soot and ash ran from the burning doorway of a bake shop, the flames spreading as the front window splintered from the heat. Screeching tires and warbling sirens encompassed the next intersection as four more police cruisers arrived, bathing the carnage in blue and red lights.

"GET BEHIND THE BARRICADE!" A strapping, blonde police man yelled while raising his shotgun. Other officers raised firearms, pointing at the approaching madness of Turkey Face.

"Run Debbie!" Alice Cooper screamed, the slim and trim brunette grasping the heavier woman's hand, pulling her forward toward the line of officers.

"I…I'm trying!" Heaving a breath, the forty five year old had lost that energetic youth as more sinister garbles rose.

Turkey Face screamed, spreading his arms while flexing his masculine pectorals. "THANKSGIVING IS A…A HOLIDAY!" Preparing to throw his hatchet at the next two victims, his patchwork face curled in a fresh grotesque smile, the coming kills exciting him as his eyes reflected the flames.

Screeching tires of a pick-up truck stopped at the barricade, the vehicle slewing to a sideways stop as Kagura took a knee in the truck bed. Holding Mira's Headsploder rifle from Pandora, the dark haired woman gave a hated scowl.

"Don't lose your head" Firing, the rifle barked a flash of light and noise as the heavy bullet tore through the night air. Crashing into the patch meat skin of the cranium, Turkey Face's head exploded in a paste of rancid meats.

Taking another step, the body collapsed in the road near several other corpses.

"I guess that works for a killing pun?" Levy pointed out.

"I would've gone with 'Head's up" Myself. Erza voiced as she cradled her rifle.

"Shut up, both of you!" Hoisting the rifle, Kagura jumped from the truckbed as several officers started to raise weapons.

"While we apricate the help, the police can handle this. Please step back and lower your weapons. All of you"

"Uh…he's not dead, you know? That just slowed him down for a minute" Levy commented while raising her pointing finger to the maniac. About to raise a flask to her lips, the short woman paused as her eyes brimmed. "OH SHIT! WE SHOULD'VE DISARMED HIM!"

But it was already too late as Turkey Face began to reform his head, the meat and brain matter slowly sliding back into place as his pectorals twitched with a glisten.

Sliding up to the police car, the four women mixed in with the police as the manic monster gobbled and screamed with his gripped hatchet.

"KaGuRAAA! YOU WILL BE MY GOBBLER WIFEEEE!" Screaming out the promise, Turkey Face took a step forward, crushing the head of a dead woman in the street.

Mira grinned, elbowing her friend in the side before regripping her lancer. "Hey, he likes you"

"I could've gone without knowing that" Kagura responded, the color draining from her face.

"Gobbler wife. You mean you plan on sucking him off?" Levy asked, only to get slapped upside the head by a very disgusted brunette.

"Keep saying stupid stuff and I'll pour out all your booze" Returning her gaze upon the monster, the few female officers were just as disgusted.

"Turkey thrust! Turkey Thrust! Be enamored by my muscle lust, Kagura!" Flexing his muscles, Turkey Face made a few more hip motions as his sinister smile became a perverted twist of avian skin.

"Fuck this! Kill the bastard!" Kagura yelled, the beast sickening to her eyes. Squeezing the trigger, ripping rounds slew through the air, slamming center mass as the four women and line of police unleashed a hailstorm of rounds. Tearing through his chest and limbs, the bullets ripped sinew and skin without a care as his body jinked and jumped.

Collapsing once more with extreme damage, the monster started to regenerate.

"Levy! Get some gravy ready!" Mira screamed out as the woman slid over the trunk of the car, already sprinting past the police officers.

"NO NEED TO ASK!" Grinning with her normal bits of crazy, Levy brought forth a jar from her digistruct device while running after Mira.

"GET BEHIND THE POLICE LINE!"

Both women ignored the officer, Levy already unscrewing the top of the jar.

"Quick! Pour it on him!" Instructed Mira as she grasped the bloody hatchet.

Levy poured, the thick, viscous liquid dripping slowly onto the bare chest. Starting to burn and pop, Turkey Face unleashed a blood curling scream as his regeneration barely finished.

"I. am…TURKEY FACE!"

"Heh…Gobble Gobble Mother Fucker!" Swinging down the hatchet with all the force she could muster, Mira cleaved the patchwork head of stitched skin from the neck. Glowing a harsh red, the hatchet burned bright as the blood of its master soaked into the blade.

Rolling away as the pilgrim hat came loose near a pile of broken glass and a severed leg, Turkey Face gave one final grin. "Thanks…killing…"

Officer Simpson and Sergeant Huston approached, guns drawn and pointed at the beast. Nudging the bare foot, the maniac lay still.

"Is it dead? What did you do?" Huston inquired, his shotgun never wavering from the corpse.

"Come on. Everybody knows that turkeys are afraid of gravy" Hefting the hatchet over her armored shoulder, Mira grinned as the city block burned behind her.

"Welp! Time to go get some snacks!" Starting to walk away, the four were suddenly surrounded by the police.

"I don't think so. You have to make statements, answer questions and face possible firearm charges" Maintaining a stern gaze, Sergeant Huston made no room for argument.

"Heh! Like you can arrest us. We'll be shifting in…" Levy looked down, her smug smile disappearing in an instant. "THREE HOURS! DAMMIT! We actually might have to do all this legal crap!"

"That's what you get for operating weapons in public" Kagura replied smugly as Erza nodded in agreement.

"Don't act smug! You fired first!" In fact! I have it on good authority you planned on marrying that monster!" Levy pointed as Kagura stepped forward.

"You just heard that from this Turkey Face a few minutes ago! What, you drunk already!?"

"Says the woman who's taller than me!"

"That has nothing to do with anything!"

Erza watched her friends argue, moving next to Mira. "Good thing we don't argue like that. Isn't that right, Strawberry?" Looking at her holstered baseball bat of barb wire and nails, Scarlet was all smiles.

"Am I the lone sane one? I am…I AM! Which means Natsu will choose me!" Giddy at the mental realization, Mira moved between Kagura and Levy before the two could kill each other. "Stop fighting you two! We have to co-operate for the sake of peace!"

"What's with you…Your up to something…GASP!" Levy fell back, her finger pointed at Mira. "You're planning on being the normal one to steal Natsu for yourself! Well, I won't let that happen! OFFICER! Take me to temporary space jail! I'll answer all your questions so I'm the normal one!"

Sergeant Huston looked between the four, momentarily wondering if he had traded one psychopath for four of them. Looking as the fire department and paramedics finally showed up, the blonde officer took another glance at the carnage. Shuddering at the sight, he figured none of them could be as bad as Turkey Face.

The next three hours of interviews, statements and the random summoning of a sentient watermelon that drank all the coffee in the station proved him wrong.

And when they finally disappeared in a flash of light before half the police force and a news crew, he knew the madness would only continue.

Two weeks later. Unmarked grave site.

"Think that's deep enough?" Lester drawled, the clanging whine of hydraulics and machinery disturbing the desolate site in the woods.

"It's fine. Just help me get this bastard in the hole already" Mark asked as he bent his knees. Hefting the body bag, his partner quickly assisted. Both grabbing the ends, the two men swung the corpse of Turkey Face into the pit.

"Alright. Fill it in and let's get out of here. That fucker may be dead, but he still gives me the willies"

"Good riddance. Maniac killed nearly a hundred people" Lester added as he started to operate the hoe once more. Pilling more dirt into the deep grave, neither man saw part of the body bag rip open, revealing the scarred visage of Turkey Face as his eyes gave a sinister, red glow.

"Gobble…"

So, another weird one! I did want to finish at Holloween, but work hours were crazy because a co-worker called in THREE times this week. It's gotten so bad I expect this fucker to call in. Luckily my boss is looking for a replacement.

Anyway! I hope you all enjoy and read my other stories too! "Bisca's Journey' and 'No Hope No Escape' could use attention!
