CONTINUED DIRECTLY FROM LAST CHAPTER

The sudden detonation vaporized the audience in the stands and sent Frisk, Sora and the rest of the graduates into a brief moment of shellshock and paralysis. When they were able to move, hear and breathe again, they saw a hideous, grotesque sight- red tentacles covered in eyes, toxic green fungi, and oozing black vines covering most of the ground in the auditorium!

Peter Pan, a natural leader and tactical genius, rallied the Imagineers to break out of the room and repel the threat with their lightsabers and Dreamforges.

"Everyone, get moving! It's not safe to remain here! We must find a way to get away, quickly! Follow me, and be ready for anything that comes your direction!"

Unfortunately, everyone's eyes were focused on High King Mickey, Donald Duck and Goofy, who were in the grasp of an especially big and disgusting tentacle.

Sora and Frisk ignited their sabers and tried to cut through the tentacle, but Mickey told them something that they were not ready for.

"Don't worry about me, haha! Go and save yourselves!"

"Yeah, we betcha we can get outta this mess!," Goofy said, reinforcing Mickey's statement.

Sora and the others had a reason to doubt this.

"You have a plan to get out of a situation that could be worse than death?," Frisk asked, shocked and confused.

"Heck yes we do!," Donald Duck shouted. "Now get your butts moving and don't look back!"

And with that, the tentacle dragged Mickey and his two companions through the floor.

Peter Pan led the way, and the Imagineers already knew what to do. They cut a path through the slimy foliage and left the auditorium, being greeted by the sickening sight of a world literally in flames.

"Come on, guys! We can't let King Mickey's sacrifice be in vain!"

While running for their lives, Frisk and Sora were joined by lots of other familiar faces- Buzz Lightyear, Perry The Platypus, Chicken Little, Kim Possible, Stitch and Angel, Luke Skywalker, and Iron Man. They were all headed in the same direction- back towards the Millennium Falcon, the closest escape route.

In the middle of all the chaos, Buzz Lightyear examined what was happening outside in the city, and merely looking at it made him vomit. He then told his teammates this:

"The scale of this disaster is immeasurable, the destruction occurring is beyond anything I could imagine or perceive. We must hurry, otherwise we'll be annihilated along with the entirety of Coruscant!"

Moments later, at the Millennium Falcon:

The Imagineer Order was in a full-scale evacuation, and most of Galactic City had already been destroyed, its trillion inhabitants reduced to dust and ash, like they were finger-snapped out of existence.

The Imagineers needed to go faster, or they would join the massive grievous group of casualties.

Luckily, Han Solo and his hangar of ships were fully prepared for the great escape. All he needed was for the forest critters to turn a few nuts and bolts on the hyperdrive...

Frisk and Sora reached the Falcon first.

"Captain Solo! We gotta go!," Frisk screamed.

Solo saw his fellow Imagineers rushing into the hangar, and shouted at Rocket Raccoon to finish his job with the ship's engines.

"Rocket! Turn that spanner on all five capacitor bolts! And prepare for takeoff once you're done!"

"No hay de que, no problem with that!"

The hangar's massive doors opened, and Imagineer spacecraft roared through the breach, heading into space and igniting their hyperdrives for faster-than-light travel, in order to avoid the massive enemy fleet in orbit around Coruscant, likely the source of the destruction.

The Falcon was one of the last to leave, though.

Frisk, Sora, Peter Pan and friends piled aboard, and it seemed as if the forest critters, (who were the current repair crew of Han Solo's famous spaceship,) worked MUCH BETTER under stress and pressure.

Rabbits, squirrels, skunks, deer fawns, and birds frantically darted around the interior of the Falcon, applying spare parts, tools and lubricants wherever they were needed, in all the right positions.

"Come on, let's go already!," Kim Possible yelled.

"I have to turn the engines on first, sweetie!," Solo snapped back.

The Millennium Falcon then started to hover, and it took flight, soaring into the blood-red skies and coming face to face with a horrifying sight in space: A whole bunch of Star Destroyers that seemed to be made entirely of flesh and chitin, with organic interiors and gun turrets crewed by undead creatures.

A swarm of TIE Fighters and Kree Empire starfighters swarmed out from the hulls of the bio-electric Star Destroyers, intent on destroying the Falcon and its companion ships.

"WHO'S ON THE GUNS?!," Iron Man asked, in desperation.

As it turned out...

...Stitch and Angel were manning the two quad laser cannons aboard the Falcon. It was a literal DOGFIGHT at this point!

The two genetically-engineered alien hounds (who were also in love, remember?) were competing to see who could shoot down the most enemy starfighters.

By their combined efforts, all the TIE fighters were dealt with. But in the process, Stitch and Angel had expended all the laser power pack ammunition on board the Falcon, (because they just kept spamming the firing trigger,) rendering the ship defenseless.

"Nice job saving our lives, good doggies, but did you really have to spend all the thingamajigs that power our lasers?"

Then Perry The Platypus chattered his teeth, something that was usually meaningless, unless someone could translate it.

"Oh!," Luke Skywalker said. "What's the platypus saying?"

Fortunately, Han Solo had C-3PO on a holographic online chat device, so he could decipher Perry's language.

"I thought the teeth chattering didn't mean anything at all," Sora commented. "Remember the Phineas and Ferb episode with the animal translator?"

"Hey, no breaking the fourth wall!," Buzz Lightyear growled, in response to Sora's comment.

C-3PO came online on the hologram, and was predictably, a bit irritated, since everyone in the Order had just narrowly avoided a terrible fate. He didn't feel like talking, but his masters required his services.

"Oh, you need me NOW of all times? Master Solo, and Luke, I should remind you, we almost got blown to smithereens!!! But a droid has to do his job nonetheless."

"You want me to translate what Perry is saying? Well then, let me see... he mentioned a Fairy Godmother who just might know WHY Coruscant was attacked and destroyed, plus WHO was responsible for the devastation, too."

"She used to work for the Imagineers, but now she's retired, and lives in a mansion in the kingdom of Dreamland, along with the rest of her fairy family."

"Anyone familiar with this Fairy Godmother?," Han asked his crew.

Then Chewbacca moaned, which translated to "Ask Frisk, they have the uncanny appearance of one kind of fairy."

Han ignored him, and said, "Anyone?"

He facepalmed when he realized that none of the Imagineers on board were acquainted with the Fairy Godmother. Maybe someone on another ship would be.

"You know what, let's just visit her, hear what she has to say, and pass it on to the rest of the Order. Then we rendezvous with the fleet. By now, all our colleagues have hyperspace jumped to different places in the Six Kingdoms, minus Freedomland, because of what just happened. We are scattered, and we need to get together again as soon as possible."

Frisk turned and spoke to themselves, and everyone could hear the point they were trying to make:

"Well, we dodged the apocalypse, but now pretty much all our family and friends on Coruscant are dead now. Running away to fight another day was our only option. So, do we keep running, or do we find a way to fight the monster that destroyed our homeworld? I guess we would need to find out what we're up against first."

Kim Possible then tried to comfort the new recruit.

"There's another good bit of information we have, too, Frisk. Remember when High King Mickey, and his advisors Donald and Goofy were sucked up by that tentacle?

"All three of them said they had planned for this day, and that they had a way of getting out of this situation. King Mickey might not be dead. We may be able to find him, so he can lead us into battle against this nameless evil that devoured Coruscant."

Regardless, Frisk was still pessimistic (can you really blame them?)

"I wouldn't count on it."

The next chapter, coming soon:
