Chapter 4: The poisoned side of a love, and the shock of a new member!

It's been almost two months since: Reborn entered their lives, Takeshi became his friend and Gokudera became his (self-declared) right-hand man and his follower(?). Leyama also noticed Tsuna's change in behavior around Reborn. It wasn't something scandalous, it was just more... He can't say, but is it believed more delicate? Since Tsuna ran home, Reborn has been trying to 'lighten up' with Tsuna, even though he doesn't know what he did wrong. (but that doesn't mean he wasn't trying to find out, as Leyama and Reborn discovered that Tsuna was shockingly very good at hiding his thoughts and feelings after that incident). However, at the end of it all, Tsuna continues to treat Reborn as usual, only sweeter. Leyama found this strange, but Reborn ended up accepting it much better than he should have. But in the end, he just got used to it, but it didn't meant he trusted the infant. Even tought he wasn't strong or firmer like the eldest,he had as much affection and care as his brother. And the brown-haired boy was sure that their mother had become more protective, like a lioness that protects her cubs, being more present in the kitchen (perhaps to have knives in hands?). In short, he didn't like this change very much, and he didn't take it well. But, deciding that this isn't worth discussing with the mobster (unless, of course, he wants a hole in his skull) so he decides otherwise: to keep an eye on the two of them. Don't invade personal spaces or mess with their stuff, but be attentive to the conversation when they're present. It's easy, when he's not with Takeshi and Gokudera, since both (Gokudera) are fighting each other, and their arguments (Gokudera) are always very loud, causing Tsuna and Reborn to move away on purpose, since Reborn always is on Tsuna's shoulder, and the honey-eyed boy doesn't like loud noises, even if, in the older's words, it's very 'Nostalgic' to him. Leyama doesn't quite understand, but suspects it has something to do with his brother's strange past.

He also noticed that the pacifiers that both Tsuna and Reborn carry are the same, just with different colors and different states. Reborn's pacifier was well taken care of, always exposed and bright and powerful as the sun, and he suspects that this pacifier has something to do with how he is... Maybe it's a pacifier that gives babies powers?! He thought about that possibility, but he dismissed it when he remembered Tsuna's pacifier. He smiles as his brother seems to be enjoying himself, and he sees Gokudera arguing with Takeshi again (even though Takeshi doesn't participate) and smiles. He notices that Reborn was sleeping peacefully in his brother's arms as they walked home. Reborn seems to have had some sort of mercy, and left for the day without training. This was one of the most peaceful days of his life, and he was grateful with all his being. But something said that his peace would end, and he didn't like that. But he decided to ignore it, as usual, and trust the smiles of his friends. They arrive at the Sawada's house, and Leyama turns to Gokudera and Takeshi "Well, guys, I was wondering... How about we go get something to eat? I just need to get my money" Gokudera shines, and starts to say "That's a great idea, Judaiime! I heard about a cafe that opened recently that looks delicious!" Takeshi looks at Leyama smiling too "I've eaten there! The snacks are really good, and the drinks are really delicious!" Gokudera starts arguing with Takeshi over something stupid, and as usual, Takeshi is unaffected. Tsuna turns around and smiles at Leyama "Le-San, could you also take my wallet? Writer here, and I wanted to say: Thank you for waiting for this chapter to come out. Honestly, this was one of the longest I've released so far, as you can see. The reason for this is because I wanted to make a difference from the original KHR story.

Now, I think it's going to be harder to keep the story that way (Haha pain) but I'll try my best as I have big plans for a story that should be so simple. As KHR's first ARC, these first few chapters will be about building relationships and introducing the characters, so if it gets a little boring, I'm sorry! There are a few things I don't remember from the beginning episodes, but I'm here trying... Oof.

And about Tsuna as Sky Arcobaleno not having any action yet, it was kind of explained, but here for those who didn't understand:

Tsunayoshi ended up sealing his flames in his Sky pacifier, thus limiting himself to Hyper Intuition. Whether it's related to Vongola blood or not, I can't say right now (Hehe, mystery~) but I can say it's a maybe. But that doesn't mean Tsuna is weak, in fact, he's quite strong, but due to his flame limitation, he ends up 'weakening', thus staying at a more average level of power and skill. And about Hibari and Tsuna's relationship... I plan to do that in the next chapter. I think this time I'll put Tsuna to have a little real active action.
