Saul looks at the device made by Penny. "Oh crap this isn't good." Saul says.
"Something wrong?" Omega, standing behind him, puts on a confused face.
Sunblast turns and almost panics as he hides the weapon behind him "Ah! Oh… uh… Omega what are you doing out so late? Shouldn't you be back at the P.E.A.C.E. headquarters in Atomo City?" Saul asks as he tries to hide the device.
"I thought I would check up on you." Omega says. "Besides I can not return to Atomo yet. I am here in Atreno to make sure you don't get captured again and until I see you are ready to be on your own. So how's it going with working with G-Lo? I heard you had to deal with a villain issue earlier, but they got away and you have successfully put the villain into custody."
Saul clears his throat and says "Well, G-Lo and I had a pretty busy start today, we took down Dark Phantom but Ghoul got away" Saul says
"Ah, I see. Well at least you caught the mastermind, *cof cof* the second time*cof cof*. I doubt that the sidekick will be able to break him out, especially with that guy's temper." Omega tries to look on the bright side of things to which Saul appreciates.
"Yeah but from what I saw Ghoul is very loyal to Dark Phantom, we can't ignore that" Saul says
"True. But regardless, we'll make sure to keep an eye out for the punk. Besides crime fighting... Are you alright? You look like you just got caught with pranking the head of PEACE. You didn't... did you?" He asks worriedly
"No, and besides the head of Peace doesn't come to this place…never mind it has been a long day and I think I should get back home and get some sleep" Saul says
"Oh yeah... Okay. Well if you need to talk to someone, I'm one call away. Okay?" Omega gently patted his shoulder.
"Yeah thanks….wait..I have to ask…why wasn't I tasked to arrest Penumbra?" Saul asks
"No particular reason as far as I know. Why do you ask?
"No. It's just something G-Lo asked me…." Saul says
"Oh yeah? What'd she ask you?"
"G-Lo is perhaps questioning everything since the whole Miss Heed incident" Saul says
"Mmmm, probably. The girl is pretty impressionable. I guess I can just give both of you time to figure stuff out. It's... Gonna take some time for everyone, and I mean it, EVERYONE needs some time to recover from THAT headache." Omega says as he rubs his temples.
"Yeah…I just hope G-Lo doesn't overthink it or go deep inside the rabbit hole, and it is best for her to know this stuff sooner or later…anyway I must be going. I just want to get back to the bed I used to sleep in." Saul says
"Alright. Well if you have any questions, be sure to give me a ring, yeah?"
"Yeah no problem" Saul says as he still hides the weapon Dark Phantom used.
Omega leaves for the headquarters while Saul´s mind is filled with uncertainty as he checks the label on the weapon one more time.

Penumbra is humming while making dinner, she couldn't shake the feeling of what happened. Two years ago all they did was fight as archenemys, they lived together for a few months, he saved her from Miss Heed and now Penumbra and Sunblast just made love in her room on her own bed. Who'd have thought?
As she finishes making her casserole and is about to serve herself a healthy helping of vegan pasta, she hears a knock at the door. "Now who could that be? At this late?"
Penny walks towards the door and looks through the window, she sees Sunblast standing outside her door… as soon as he was within reach she swore she was ready for round number…Oh who cares about the number?!
Penny almost falls but catches herself as she goes back to the door. She dusts herself off and clears her throat.
Although Penny is thinking of redoing her and Sunblast "play date" she needs to be sincere, serious and will want to talk to him instead. "Ok just open the door and…gosh what to say…'' she mutters awkwardly to herself.

Outside Sunblast is nervous to think of how to bring up the topic with Penny. "Ok just talk to her about how to stop selling these weapons…at least for now." Sunblast says to himself as he is aware of how Penny does business with other villains.
Sunblast then knocks on the door again and Penny opens the door to reveal her smiling brightly.
"Sunblast! It's… um… good to see you again! Do you… um… want to come in for dinner? I made some casserole!" Pennumbra says, trying to start a conversation with him.
"Oh sure…yeah...I mean I just had a sandwich earlier but ok…" Sunblast says as Penny takes him by the arm, and leads him inside the house.
She then sat him down at the table and went to go get the pasta casserole. 'I wonder what he's doing here? Did he come because of what I said back then? I was in total bliss back in bed, so I didn't really put too much meaning in what I was saying. Oh well, let's see what happens…' She thinks in concern and embarrassment as she places the meal on the table, and prepares herself and Sunblast a plate.
Sunblast looks down as he twiddles his fingers. He felt a wave of awkwardness and couldn't put the words to what he needed to say. He just slept with her, and now, he has to ask her to make a decision that will impact her life.
"Sunblast?" Penny asks as the superhero sputters and is out of his train of thought.
"Yes… Penny?!" Sunblasts asks abruptly.
"Your casserole is getting cold." Penny says as she nudges his food in front of him.
"Oh!..sorry..." Sunblast says as he starts to eat some pasta. As he chews nervously the hero thinks of what he wants to say to Penny. Despite him not wanting to eat vegan pasta. He is starting to enjoy it.
"Is… something wrong…? Is it because of what happened earlier or...?" She asks nervously as she looks away. Not daring to meet his eyes.
"No no….a little, but not really…it is very…nice you know...I mean I really do like you, and… it felt good.." Sunblast gets deep into the subject as he blushes.
Penny then quickly says "Let's just talk about something else…please" Penny says as she is trying to salvage the situation while blushing like a ripe tomato.
"Yeah…ok uhh how was your day? How's the weather…?" Sunblasts ask randomly.
"Pfffffffttttt…" Penny snorts. "From my day to the weather…? Really?" She smiles.
"Well..I just want to know how are you doing? Now that Miss Heed is out of your neck, and no longer targeting you, what do you think you'll resume doing?" Sunblast asks as he wipes his mouth with a napkin.
Penumbra stays quiet for a second until she says. "... Well, mainly my research for the cure for the Umbras… maybe actually going to a few events that the city will be holding for the development of the parks and clean up around some of the more populated streets… a convention or two…" she thinks as she lists out the things that she want to do.
"That is nice…" Sunblast says with some hesitation.
"How was your day?" Penny asks as she takes a bite of her food.
"Oh my day… I am officially Atreno city's hero again, and they assigned me a sidekick, her name is G-Lo. And our first day went really well." Sunblast says with nervousness on his face.
"G-Lo?... Biceps old sidekick?" Penny says with surprise and confusion at both his new sidekick and that he is looking uncomfortable.
"She was his sidekick, and it's kind of a long story about how she came to work with me. But I won't open that can of worms… again. Anyways, we had a somewhat good day. There were a couple of robberies in the city. We took down Dark Phantom, and his assistant Ghoul. Although Ghoul escaped." Sunblast says as he is still processing how he is going to speak to her about what he found.
Penny is shocked by this. "You… turned him in…?" she looks away from him "Wow, I did not expect for those two to start back up so soon after… well, everything" she tries to smile with a thoughtful look on her face as she ponders his words.
"Well you know me… always facing danger…" Saul says cockily with a smug face, then he remembers what he needs to do and his face becomes serious. "Anyway I wanted to show you this… here…" Sunblast says as he shows her the syringe.
Penny looks at it with wide eyes. "How-how did you find this?" She mumbles out as she carefully picks up the syringe that has HER name on it.
"Ghoul had it with him. He is using tech that they could never dream of making." Sunblast says as he speaks in a lower voice. "Look I…I know you have business with other villains, but… I am looking the other way for both of our sakes. Can you stop selling weapons to villains please…?" Sunblast asks with a pleading face.
She looks torn. On one hand, she wants to help him but at the same time, she can't. She makes most of her income by selling her weapons. How could she make any headway in her research if she doesn't have money?
"Penny I know this is hard for you, and…" Sunblast says.
"I can't!.. Look, I know this is… difficult for you to handle, but I need the funds to help find the cure for the umbras condition, it is not only for me but for the others and I am SO close! I really can't stop it now… perhaps when I'm done… I really wish I could comply, but there is nothing I can do right now." Penny says with some disappointment in her tone.
"Will it be any different if you don't sell weapons to villains who will attack Atreno?" Sunblast asks in desperation. "I mean you know what happens if your tech gets confiscated or even worse! P.E.A.C.E could arrest you… well they still want to but… look, you helped out with arresting Miss Heed, and it somewhat cleared your name enough for them to give you some space. Don't throw that away!" Sunblast says
Penny takes a deep breath and talks in a serious tone "Sunblast, I am willing to risk that. I have faced greater setbacks than that, you know it" she says with a bitter face as she remembers her past experiences with all that life has thrown at her for the past few years.
"Yes I am aware of your struggles, but I am trying to help you!" Sunblast frustratedly points out as he pounds his fist on the table. Penny pulls back with a shocked expression that makes Sunblast calm down a bit. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you..I..I really do suggest you stop selling weapons to villains that will pose a threat to Atreno." Sunblast says.
"And where exactly will I get the money that will be lost with that? Tech is expensive. Not to mention the bills to keep living in my house."
"You can invent other things. Maybe I can convince Omega for you to work with us instead of against us!" Sunblast says as he stands up trying to calm Penny down.
"Weapons for heros?" says with a raised eyebrow.
"Not all of your tech can be weapons. Like that barbell you gave me for Christmas" Sunblast says
"Uh, that is not exactly tech either." Penumbra smirks with a sharp grin. "And there is a reason why most super heroes don't use tech and rely on their powers or abilities, P.E.A.C.E. don´t invest that much on it."
"Ugh! Penny please for both our sakes you can't sell weapons to villains who'd target Atreno...that is all I'm asking for you to do, and you can sell your weapons outside the city limits, but not Atreno. Please…for me…" Sunblast says pleadingly.
"I may be able to stop selling to people in Atreno but I can't control where they go, Dark Phantom doesn't even live in Atreno city, as far as we know he may have been getting money to get back home." She reasones.
"Perhaps you can make an exception "Atreno restricted" or something like that." Sunblast suggests.
"Pfft, to villains?"This time she can't stop herself from bursting into laughter, she tries but she can't do it anymore.
"Unless they want to deal with me… okay, perhaps I can destroy the tech before anyone can find out about any ties with you…"
"Why do you want to protect me?" Penumbra asks, still giggling, she feels surprised after hearing all that. "I mean…you could just arrest me right now."
"I told you before Penny you are not a bad person…I see that now…" Sunblast says with a gentle smile.
"Ok. Perhaps I could adjust my sales plan to try to avoid these situations, but just not yet, give me a few weeks, and I'll reorganize my sales…just two more things…" Penny offers.
"What is it?" Sunblast asks in concern while Penny rolls her eyes and walks up to him and hits his left arm.
"OW! Hey! What is that for?" She placed her arms around him.
"I am not a damsel in distress Sunblast, I can handle my own shit."
"Yes….ma'am." Sunblast grumbles as Penny smiles and kisses his cheek "and the other thing?" He asks as Penny leans her head on his shoulders.
"What is your name?" Penumbra asks.
"Huh…I thought you knew…I thought I already told you?" Sunblast asks as Penny wraps her right leg around his waist. "What's the reason for asking it? We've known each other for more than a year. What sparked that curiosity? I mean I don't mind you calling me Sunblast" He says as he pulls her closer by her waist.
"Maybe the fact that I know almost every part of you but I have never heard your name?" She jests as she playfully runs her fingers on his arm. She then uses her nails to gently press down on his muscles as if she is testing how strong he has become.
"Well…" Sunblast coughs and continues "You might know…but I don't like my name that much…" Sunblast says as he is practically getting tempted by the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.
"Hmmm, c'mon, you know mine, it is not a big deal~" she says teasingly, almost whispering in his ear. "Besides..whose name will I scream?.. as I…release it for you.." Penumbra purrs out as Sunblast just holds her tight and he kisses her cheek.
Sunblast then gets the idea "Wait a minute..is this some kind of seduction tactic for you to use so I could let you do whatever you want?" Sunblast asks with a raised amused brow.
"No, I am just asking… but now that you say it, that doesn't sound like a bad idea~" She says with a grin as she kisses his neck.
Sunblast took a deep breath and said "It's…Saul…my name is Saul…and let's get one thing straight…we..only do this when we're together..and when…we both need a stress reliever…not to mention if..one of us gets lonely or if…you get lonely..and we can't let anyone nor the P.E.A.C.E find out about this."
"I don't really think it counts as sex if you do it alone, you know? that is masturba.." says teasing him until he covers her mouth with his hand.
"Just shut up, and let's get down to business." Sunblast is so full of tension, he growls as he lifts her up, causing her to laugh. He carries her to her bedroom. Saul notices that Penny closes her eyes and smiles as she rests her head on his right arm. There is no way she is going to treat him as a bed warmer. "And just to make things clear…" Saul says as he slaps her backside causing her to yelp. "I always get to be on top…" Sunblast smirkly says as Penumbra yanks his right ears and whispers.
"Whatever works for you…my…little man" Penumbra whispers as she guides Sauls mouth with his ears and starts making out as he takes her further to her bedroom.
Currie looks out of her small house and sees the two about to have some more fun. The former labrat rolls her eyes and stuffs two pieces of rat food pellets in her ears.
