Beginning A/N: Welcome back to Izuku the Tyrannosaurus! Okay, it's time to see just how our favorite quirkless green bean handles himself in a village of Amazons. But before we begin, I have to make a few things clear; I have written very few fight scenes in any of my stories, especially fight scenes that could be considered high quality. So, if the fight scenes in this story seem kind of "meh", that's probably why. So, please be respectful when you review if you have something to say about the upcoming fight scene, as any and all flame reviews will be ignored. And I am open to any advice you all can give on how to improve the fight scenes. But now, with that out of the way, let's see how our favorite T-Rex handles the events that are about to take place here.

Quick A/N: Oh yeah, also I changed the color patterns of Izuku's T-Rex form. He's still based on the character Red from Primal, but now his body is dark gray with a bright green head and dark green stripes on his head and tail. He also has bright green spikes on his head down to the base of his neck, and four dark gray spikes at the end of his tail. I will be going back to my previous chapters and editing those so that it fits with my story.

Disclaimer: I still don't own My Hero Academia or Ranma ½!

An Amazon's Challenge!

Ten minutes later, Izuku and Ranma, who was now a happy man once again thanks to some hot water from the elder, were sitting across from said elder and the lavender haired girl from before. Xian Pu, if Izuku remembers correctly. Ranma's father, who Izuku learned was named Genma, was still in Panda form and was now chained to a thick post outside in order to keep him from causing any more problems.

"So, enlighten me, what compelled you three to travel to the valley of cursed springs in the first place? It's not typically a place people go of their own volition." Ku Lon asked.

"Blame my pops for that. He's an idiot who can't even read Chinese and was only going off that the place was a legendary training ground for martial artists. Didn't even bother listening to the guide who brought us there." Ranma said bitterly.

"Surely you don't mean to sound so harsh towards your own father, do you?" Ku Lon asked. "I can understand your anger at being cursed, but this anger towards your father seems excessive."

But Ranma just crossed his arms and said in a firm voice, "My father, Genma, has done many stupid and selfish things ever since I was old enough to remember them, and maybe even before. The earliest I can remember was that he sold me to a complete stranger for a bowl of rice, two small fish, and some picked vegetables, before stealing me back that same night. And in the ten plus years that I have been traveling and training with him, he has done nothing but commit crimes and do stupid stuff that has torn my honor to shreds because of them. I would list his crimes but, honestly, there are too many to count accurately."

All three were silent for a moment, their eyes wide, both from shock, disbelief, and concern, at what they had just heard.

"On second thought, you're right. Your father's an idiot." Ku Lon said.

"Yes. Yes, he is." Ranma said with a nod.

"As for why I was in Jusenkyo, that was actually a complete accident caused by a chain of unfortunate events. Before I explain, let me ask; do you know what quirks are and what they can do?" Izuku asked.

Ku Lon nodded and said, "Though we are a somewhat primitive village of warriors, we are not quite so ignorant to the ways of the outside world. Very few amazons in our village are born with them, but we do know about quirks and how they work. I myself possess a mild longevity quirk that has allowed me to live for as long as I have by extending my lifespan beyond that of an ordinary human. The quirk doctors who studied my quirk were most meticulous in analyzing my quirk and came to the conclusion that, if I take care of myself, I will live for up to four hundred years at the maximum without suffering from the health problems and disabilities that crop up with old age. Unfortunately, my quirk didn't include the feature of retaining my youth, hence why I look like what some Americans would call an 'Asian Yoda'."

"Yeah, I was wondering if your appearance was the result of such a quirk, but I didn't want to be rude by asking such a thing as I know that women in particular can be rather… sensitive… about their age." Izuku admitted.

And he would know. His aunt Mitsuki hates it when somebody mentions her age, especially since her own quirk actually helps her retain a rather youthful appearance so she still looks like she's in the prime of her life. She goes especially ballistic whenever Katsuki calls her a 'hag', which of course leads to arguments that devolve into fights that his uncle Masaru then needs to break up.

Good lord, what is with their family dynamic?

Ku Lon just cackled and waved him off, saying, "It's no trouble, sonny-boy! I understand better than anyone that aging is a natural process. Old Man Time gets us all at some point, and I am currently just over three-hundred years old."

That certainly explained to Izuku and Ranma why the elder looked the way she did, as well as provided a possible explanation as to why she used that staff of hers as a pogo stick to get around.

"So, tell us, young man," Ku Lon said to Izuku. "Are you cursed from Jusenkyo as well? And what quirk do you have?"

Izuku flinched at the mention of having a quirk, which did not go unnoticed by Ku Lon or her great-granddaughter who came and sat down with them.

"I… I don't… have a quirk." Izuku managed to say.

He instinctively screwed his eyes shut as he awaited the ridicule and possible attacks for his quirkless status. The obvious PTSD and anxiety from the abuse he suffered because of his lack of a quirk kicking in big time. Ranma was the first to take notice of this due to his own upbringing by his father, knowing the signs of someone who's been abused when he sees them. And honestly, he was disgusted at how people in his own country, particularly where Pro Heroes are common, can treat people who don't have a quirk WORSE than the Burakumin. They may not have fancy superpowers, but they're still human!

"And why should being quirkless matter? Most everyone in our village is quirkless, and we have trained truly splendid fighters for generations. Even before the beginning of this age of quirks." Ku Lon said. "Your country is truly messed up if they believe that quirks are all it takes to define a human being's worth."

Izuku silently agreed and was put at ease by the elder's words.

"I can't help but agree with you about my home country, Honored Elder. And as for your question about the curse, yes, I do have a curse from the springs of Jusenkyo. I fell into the Spring of Drowned Tyrannosaurus. So, because of this, I end up turning into a T-Rex when splashed with cold water, and hot water turns me back into a human. I also seem to keep my clothes so that whenever I transform into my T-Rex form, I keep my clothes when I turn back into a human. I don't know why that is, though." Izuku said.

"I can't say I can tell you why. This is the first I've heard of someone with an animal curse not losing their clothes when they transform." Ku Lon admitted.

"So, how'd you end up in Jusenkyo anyway, Izuku?" Ranma asked.

"I think I was hit by a teleportation quirk that sent me there, as one minute I'm in Japan and the next thing I know I'm waking up in a valley full of cursed springs. Which, by the way, I didn't know were cursed at the time. But I'd rather not talk about the events leading up to my sudden teleportation, if that's okay." Izuku explained.

Ranma had his suspicions about what it was that Izuku was hiding, but he chose to hold his tongue. He may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, mostly thanks to his father, but he knows how to read people. It comes with the territory of being a martial artist.

"Okay, if you don't want to talk about it, I won't force you. But if you ever need to vent, I'm willing to listen." Ranma said.

Izuku just nodded, grateful for the offer. Most people wouldn't be so willing to listen to him go on a rant, especially Bakugo who would just explode him using his quirk if he tried.

"Anyway, I wandered around for a bit in an attempt to figure out where I was, when all of a sudden I was bowled over by a redhead girl who was chasing a panda. Now that I think about it, I think that was you and your father, Ranma." Izuku further explained.

"Let me guess, we ended up knocking you into one of the pools." Ranma guessed.

"Yeah, and then due to a lack of balance on my part, I fell back into the same pool and once I came out of it again and got my bearings, I realized that I had turned into a literal Tyrannosaurus Rex." Izuku said.

That got Ku Lon's attention.

"A T-Rex, you say? You fell into the Spring of Drowned Tyrannosaurus?" Ku Lon asked.

Izuku nodded and replied, "Yes I did, and let me tell you I freaked out a lot when I first transformed. I didn't even know that magic existed until it happened."

Xian Pu looked completely lost as she looked at her great-grandmother and asked, (Great Grandmother, what is this particular cursed spring that you speak of? This is the first I have ever heard of it.)

(It is one of the cursed springs from the Jusenkyo Valley, Xian Pu. An ancient spring that has been around since what is now known as the Late Cretaceous Period and is the only one of the prehistoric springs to have, for lack of a better term, survived all the way into this age of quirks. Nobody has fallen into this particular spring since our ancestors first built our village.) Ku Lon explained to Xian Pu.

Which Izuku had translated so Ranma could understand what she was saying.

"I still say that your curse is better than mine. At least you stay a guy when you transform." Ranma said, crossing his arms.

"Oh, don't be such a sourpuss." Izuku said. "You may turn into a girl when splashed with cold water, but at least it's reversible. And look at it this way: women are far from being weak. Just think of the Rabbit Hero, Miruko. She's the strongest female hero in all of Japan and the number five hero in Japan because she worked her tail off to take a quirk that seemed useless to everyone else and turn it into her greatest strength."

Ranma had to admit, Izuku had a point there. He always knew that women weren't as weak as his father tried to make him believe, but that didn't mean that he wanted to be one.

"Speaking of martial arts, are you boys practitioners?" Ku Lon asked.

"Yeah, I am. Pops has been training me in the Anything Goes Martial Arts since I can remember. I'm pretty much the best martial artist out there, barring those on the Masters Council." bragged Ranma.

Only to get chopped on the head by Izuku.

"And as a martial artist, one must also strive to be humble." Izuku said with his eyes closed. "It's one thing for one to be confident in one's abilities, but there is a very fine line between confidence and arrogance."

Ranma pouted at Izuku for that, though he will deny doing so for the rest of his days but conceded that the green haired boy had a point.

"As for me, well, I haven't been doing martial arts for very long. Only about six months now. But I'm self-taught in the arts of Dragon Style Kung Fu, Boxing, and French Kickboxing." Izuku replied.

(You mean Savate?) Xian Pu asked.

(That, yes.) Izuku replied.

"Well, how about a spar, then, sonny-boy?" Ku Lon asked Izuku.

"A spar?" the green bean asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. You see, since you are self-taught in the martial arts, I would like for you to spar against my great-granddaughter so that I may see how well you can fight and what you need to improve on. Plus, it will be a good way for you to gain experience fighting against a real opponent aside from those weakling bandits that I've heard about." Ku Lon explained.

Izuku thought about it for a moment. The elder had a point. If he was going to really become a great martial artist, maybe even a quirkless hero, then he was going to need experience fighting against real opponents.

"Very well, then, I accept this challenge, elder." Izuku said.

Ku Lon nodded and asked that he and Ranma wait outside and prepare for the spar, smirking when their backs were turned.

It seems as though she has a hidden agenda.

***To Be Continued…***

Ending A/N: So, I just thought that I should let you all know that it happened once again. I have once again caught Covid-19. I don't know how I did, I've been doing everything that I could to prevent infection: I've been masking, washing my hands and using hand sanitizer, and maintaining social distancing! And yet I still got it… AGAIN! So, I'm stuck quarantining again, so I ask that you please be patient with me, since I probably won't be able to upload frequently this month as I focus on recovery. Also, I had intended to add a fight scene in this chapter, but with how under the weather I've been feeling these past couple of days I couldn't think of one that would flow well with my story. Anyways, thanks for reading, and I'll see you all in the next update.
