"Attack!" Houki said as she was finishing another duel. She won another duel and her points increased to 3390. "That was too easy." She said with disappointment as she wanted a challenge. She might have won another duel, but it doesn't matter. Houki, Laura, and Charlotte are in great danger and they don't even know it. Meldrick is going to try to turn them against Ichika. The three of them just walked around the streets and was looking around for Houki's next opponent. "There has to be someone around here that I can duel next." Houki said as she already tried to find that next opponent. "I need just one good duel now to get in the finals."

"Maybe we should scour the other duels. You might find a good read on your opponent." Laura said. "Still, you need to find one you have a good chance of winning against while also giving you what you need to get the necessary points. Choosing your next opponent is vital, but you must be careful about it."

"I know." Houki said as she knows what she's doing.

"Hey. Come look at this." Charlotte said as she spotted something quite interesting. Houki and Laura took a look and saw it was a flyer for an aquatic show happening at the aquarium.

"Charlotte, we don't really have time for a show at the aquarium. Maybe when the tournament is over we'll go." Houki said.

"I do not understand the appeal." Laura said. "Fish are for swimming in the sea or to be used as food. Why would you perform with them?"

"Not that. I'm talking about who is in the show." Charlotte said as she pointed to a familiar name on there with Houki and Laura taking a look.

"Wave Arthis?!" Houki said as she couldn't believe it. "Hold on. You don't think it's the same Wave, do you? The same one we met before."

"There's one way to find out." Charlotte said. This seemed like a great idea. Not only do they have a chance to get a good show, but Wave is a skilled duelist himself. If Houki duels him, she might get all the points she needs to enter the finals. The three of them hurried to the aquarium to check this out, but none of them knew was that they were being followed by Meldrick's minions.

'Follow them, my minions.' Meldrick told them as he used his powers to stay in contact with them. 'Keep an eye on them until I give the word to strike. Houki Shinonono could be the perfect weapon to use against Ichika.' Meldrick is putting his sinister plan into place. Now that Ichika took Izanagi, he's not going to go easy on him anymore.

Senshi

Upon hearing that his friends could be in danger, possibly be turned into Meldrick's servants, Senshi and the others hurried to find them. The problem was that the city was huge and they could really be anywhere. The entire city is a dueling field.

"We have to hurry and find Houki and the others before Meldrick does." Senshi said.

"We will. They have to be somewhere." Rin said. "Cecilia, can't you call them or something?"

"I'm trying, but they're not answering for some reason." Cecilia said. "I'm getting awfully concerned for them."

"All the more reason we have to hurry." Senshi said. The fear of their friends being in danger is pushing them to keep going. They can only hope they're not too late, but with no idea where they are, what can they really do.

The Aquarium

Houki and the others arrived at the aquarium to see if their old friend really is there. When they got there, they saw there was a crowd there that was enjoying the show. When they look to the pool, they spotted their old friend, Wave Arthis, just like the flyer said.

"Thank you all for coming! Now be amazed by my friends from the sea!" Wave announced as he guided the animals in there. He held out two rings with both arms. One dolphin jumped through one side while another jumped through the other. It didn't stop there as the dolphins danced around with everyone loving what they were seeing. Wave joined in the show himself. He jumped as far as he could out in the pool, only to have the face of an orca emerge out and he landed with a handstand. Everyone was loving the show and loved Wave in it.

"Hey! Over here, Wave!" Houki called as the three of them went over to the pool. Wave spotted them and was most pleased to see them.

"I remember you three!" Wave said as he jumped off and landed across from them. "Your names are Houki, Charlotte, and Laura. You three are good friends with Ichika Orimura."

"It's good to see you again." Houki said. "What are you doing here?"

"What does it look like? I'm giving quite the show." Wave said.

"I thought you were a duelist, not some sort of circus clown in water." Laura said.

"I take it that means you didn't like the show." Wave said as he felt a bit offended. "Well, as you might remember, I always had a love for the sea, but money doesn't grow on trees. After Dueling Island, I soon found myself at this aquarium. When they saw how friendly and great I was with the animals that lived here, they hired me here to perform."

"That's incredible." Houki said. "Although, I thought you were a duelist. I figured you would be competing in the tournament that Conner is holding."

"Don't be fooled." Wave said as he was quite proud of what he's done. "I might be playing with my fishy friends, but I am a duelist as well. Be hold!" He claimed as he held up his duel disk and showed he had a total of 3390 points. "Many duelists have come through here. I challenged them and won many duels. I am getting closer and closer to the finals. Houki, I take it that you are competing as well."

"You better believe it. Check it out." Houki said as she showed her points were at 2830.

"It would seem that you've gained quite the points yourself." Wave said as he was interested. "I bet a duel between the likes of us would be worth a lot of points."

"Exactly what I'm thinking." Houki said as they were both thinking the same thing.

"Well, looks like you're all in for quite a treat! You all get to see a duel happen right here!" Wave announced as all of them liked the sound of that. Everyone was getting excited to see this duel. Charlotte and Laura hurried up to the stands to see this, as well as Meldrick's minions as a few of them watched the girls as per their orders. As for Houki, she and Wave took their positions with a stand in the pool for them to duel. "I'm warning you Houki, I've made great modifications to my deck since the last time we saw each other."

"Bring it on." Houki said as she readied herself. 'I remember when Ichika dueled him that his strategy is to try and conceal his monsters, make it difficult to know what I'm attacking. I'll have to be diligent here.' She thought.

"Let's duel!" They both said as their duel started and they had 4000LP.

"I'll start this duel." Wave said as he went first. "I'll start by playing my field spell: Deep Blue Sea!" He played a field spell and the water they were standing in changed in tone as it looked more like they were standing in the ocean than a pool. "This field spell gives all fish, aqua, and sea serpent monsters 500def points. What's more is that after they attack, I can switch them to face-down defense mode and rearrange them if I want. Next, I'm activating the Water Hazard spell! When I have no monsters on my field, this spell allows me to special summon a water attribute monster."

'This is what he did against Ichika. He tried hiding his monsters and swarmed the field with them.' Houki thought as she knew what to expect.

"I activate Water Hazard! That allows me to summon my Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness to the field!" Wave said. He summoned out his monster as this warrior rose up with 1800atk points. "Next, I'll summon a monster facedown and that ends my turn."

'Weird. If his field spell is suppose to help his monsters when their in defense mode, why would he summon his warrior in attack mode?' Houki wondered. 'He's up to something, but should I play it safe or go on the attack.'

"Do you think Houki will be okay?" Charlotte questioned.

"I believe so, but Wave can be a tricky opponent. She'll have to be clever." Laura said.

"It's my turn now! I draw!" Houki said as she drew her next card. "I'll start my turn by summoning Yumira the Healing Light to the field! I can summon this monster when I have no monsters on the field, but her attack points are cut in half." She summoned out her female samurai as it rose up with a shining light. She had 2000atk points, but that all dropped to a mere 1000.

"That monster had more attack points than my warrior. Why would you give that up?" Wave questioned.

"It's so I can activate this. I activate Disturbed Mind Adjust!" Houki said. "When I have a warrior on the field who has attack points lower than their original, this spell card restores them to normal until the end of this turn!" Yumira's attack points increased back to 2000. "I bet you're planning to switch your monster to defense mode and gain more power, but that won't happen. I activate Frontline Battle! This spell card prevents monsters from switching battle positions during battle. Yumira, attack! Take out his Sea Serpent Warrior!" Her samurai drew her sword and gathered light around it to attack.

"Playing that spell was rather clever, but all you really did was waste it." Wave said. "It's true that I had something planned, but it wasn't to have my warrior switch to defense mode."

"Say what?" Houki questioned.

"From my hand, I activate the ability of Octo Stealth!" Wave said. "When a water attribute monster is the target of an attack, I can switch it out with this monster!" In a puff of black smoke, he reclaimed his warrior and switched it out with an octopus that had a black cloud stamped on its head. It also had 1600def points. "What's more is that my field spell gives it extra power!" His octopus gained more power as its defense points rose to 2100. "You can still attack if you want."

"Yumira, stop your attack!" Houki said as she was forced to stop her attack. "I'm out of moves for right now. I end my turn."

"And since we reached the end of this turn, Yumira loses that power." Wave said as Yumira lost all her power and went back to 1000.

"Yes, but since this is the end of my turn, Yumira's other ability activates. She grants me 400LP for every monster I have on the field." Houki said. Yumira shined a light on Houki and her life points increased to 4400.

"My turn!" Wave said as he drew his next card. "I know just how to start it. I'll start by flip summoning my Electro Eel!" He flipped summon his face-down monster and it turned out to be a teal eel with orange spots running down it's back and it having 900atk points. "Next, I activate my eel's ability. By destroying one card I have on the field, I can add another card to my hand that's the same type as it. I don't really need Water Hazard anymore, so I'll destroy it to add another spell card from my hand." His eel unleashed some electricity and destroyed his spell. "I think I'll take my Sea Beast Ritual."

"Did you say ritual?!" Houki said as she didn't like the sound of that.

"I did, and you know what that means." Wave said as he took the card from his hand. "You know what that means, but you have other worries right now. I re-summon my Sea Serpent Warrior and switch my octopus in attack mode!" He summoned out his warrior again with his octopus changing modes and had 400atk points. "Now, Sea Serpent Warrior of Darkness, destroy her Yumira!" He had his warrior attack and it slashed against her only monster with Houki's life points dropping to 3600. "That means my other two can attack you directly!" His other two monsters each attacked Houki and her life points dropped even more to 2300. "Now that they attacked, all three of them are switched to facedown defense mode, and I can rearrange them." Wave said as his monsters hid under the water and Houki can't tell who is who. "I'm sorry, Houki, but you are no match for the mighty power of the sea. It's a harsh and cruel mistress, and you are about to experience it's wrath." Houki could be in real trouble. If she doesn't figure something out, she's going to end up being fish food.

Meldrick

"Keep a close eye on her my minions. I'm on my way." Meldrick said as he was ready to leave the dock and put his plan into action.

"You're not going anywhere." Meldrick stopped himself from going anywhere. He looked and saw someone walking out of the shadows: Evil Ryu.

"Who are you?" Meldrick said.

"That's not important. All you need to know is that you have something I want, and I intend to get it." Evil Ryu claimed as he was ready to do whatever it takes to get his hands on another artifact.
