I gave my blood, sweat and tears for this.

My friends from home don't know what to say.

And I saw something they can't take away.

Days Later

I've been giving Haley some space since the big friend group meeting at my house.

Hearing and digesting what happened between her and Dan was alot more for me to take then i expected.

Finding out she kept the child. Was a shock.

I wasn't able to hide that.

I love her. I do.

But loving her and seeing proof of something so horrific.

Bringing that drama and possible media scandal

To my doorstep. Is more then i can deal with right now.

I'm honest. It may seem unfair. Cruel even.

But this is is where i am. Nathan thought to himself.

As he pulled up to Haley's house.

Got out of the car. And walked up to her front door.

He bawled up his fist and knocked on the front door.

Minutes later. He was met with

Haley's face. Her eyes lit up. And expression of joy and relief on her face.

She went in for a hug. Then decided against it.

Seeing that Nathan wasn't moving towards her.

"Is everything okay.? Do you want to come in.?" Haley asked.

"No i think we should just talk out here."

"I'm not ready for this Haley. Being a presence in this kid's life."

"It would be confusing and complicated." Nathan explained.

Her brown eyes went wide. She quickly put her guard.

"I get it. I understand. I think us being friends wil be better for all involved."

"I didn't mean to waste you're time. I should go." Haley replied. Before closing the door and locking it shut.

Haley backed herself against the wall.

Wrapping her arms around herself.

The DNA test results falling from her pocket.

Dan was Sage Biological father.

Haley felt sick. And shaken to her core.

"Momma. I Up." Sage announced. Walking over to where her mom was on the floor.

The little girl had her mom's brown/blond hair and the Scott blue eyes.

Haley smiled warmly wrapping her arms around her daughter.
