Weeks Later
Haley and Sage were on an adventure of sorts. Haley was choosing to focus on her job. Which was to take pictures.
She had an idea to create a collage showcasing the aspects of Tree Hill she loved.
Through The Eyes Of Small Town America.
Is what the collection was being called. From the photography agency. Haley worked for.
She was paid to take pictures and videos of her travels. Since Tree Hill was her home base she had alot to work with.
Sage's laughter filled the air as she raced towards the seating area.
Near the water.
"Wait for momma Sage." Haley instructed.
Sage was very curious and loved to throw herself into anything.
Get her face hands and body covered. From bubble bath. Cake batter to sand and mud pies.
Haley made $1,838 per month. She was left with 424 a week.
So she made sure Sage had all she needed and with the rest she spent on herself.
At the echo of a basketball dribbing close by.
Haley turned her head. Not sure what to do at the sight of Nathan.
"Momma. Look. Ball."
"I play!" Sage proclaimed.
"No Sage. We have to go now." Haley replied.
"You don't have to rush off. We're going to be friends."
"We can share the same space." Nathan reassured her.
"Momma. I want ball." Sage repeated.
"We'll go to the store and get you one." Haley replied.
"I know me coming back here made it seem like a reunion with us was possible."
"Maybe it was wishful thinking. Maybe i was just naive."
"We're both different now. I want you to be happy."
"And i want to be happy. I just wish we could find it together." Haley proclaimed.
"We still can. Just tell me she's my daughter." Nathan replied.
"She's not." Haley said.
