A/N: I'm back guys!
After falling under the dreadful spell of writers block, I am finally working on this story again! This chapter has been carefully outlined for some time now, so I hope you guys like it. (9/19, I've made some changes to this chapter so if you get a second email on this update... no you didn't.)
*Also, my personal life is getting very hectic and busy, with my wedding day quickly approaching and planning / attending bridal showers etc., it's hard to find time to write out long chapters. Just a heads up for future shorter updates.
May 11th - 8 weeks pregnant
Chrissy's POV
Just yesterday, Chrissy and Eddie had attended her second appointment. The baby was okay, at least from what Dr. Lolli could tell. Their little poppyseed was now the size of a Hershey's Kisses.
Nobody knew still, well, besides their family, and Chrissy wanted to keep it that way. Nearly a month had passed since she had told Eddie, and she hadn't started showing yet. Her small frame still petite as ever.
Only she could visually see and feel the changes in her body. If she squinted hard enough, she could make out a tiny bump, a bump that made her look bloated. Her boobs were constantly sore, and she was always so tired.
Eddie had started becoming more attentive, checking in with the many different doctors she was now acquainted with, making sure she took her prenatal vitamins, and drinking plenty of water; making sure everything was growing okay. The scare had done just that, scared them. Eddie was not taking any more chances, acting like a cautious mother hen, and she the chick.
Chrissy found herself spending less and less time at her childhood home. Her mother was too busy giving her the silent treatment and drinking away her stress. This was fine with her, given that her mother's perfume made her gag now. Just thinking of the overwhelming sent of Chanel No. 5 made her stomach turn.
Liam, her little brother, was always out with his friends or at the arcade, and her father was too preoccupied with…well, work. She loved her family but the pressure to remain the perfect daughter had begun to weigh much too heavy on her.
The Munson household was like stepping outside and feeling the fresh air upon your face after spending hours locked inside a cramped room with no windows. The trailer had become her home. It was freeing, it was cozy and welcoming, but ever since her miscarriage scare from last week, Eddie had nights where he asked her to stay home, while he worked out some kinks with some clients of his. There were nights where he had to move profit out of the house and make a trip for the next month's supply. He had made it clear that he did not want her, or Wayne involved with his business; it was too dangerous, and he really didn't want cops sniffing around.
Wednesdays and Fridays were the nights that Chrissy could spare for others. —going to Anna's house or running around town with some of her friends from the squad, or with Max and "the party", as Max had called them. Friday nights were reserved for the Hellfire Club and occasionally, if she wasn't already busy, Eddie would let her sit in and watch. The gang of nerdy boys had grown accustomed to her cheerful presence, even Mike had started warming up to her. Nobody questioned where she was all the time, or why she would stare at the wall blankly more often than ever, lost in her thoughts. Sometimes, Chrissy found herself absentmindedly rubbing her still flat belly, and she'd pass it off as a stomachache to her friends.
She wanted it to be their secret, and only theirs, even though she knew it couldn't be for much longer.
-However, Ms. Kelly was an exception. She had asked in their last session if she could invite Eddie to join them, figuring it would be beneficial to tell her sooner rather than later and she really wanted his presence there to soothe her anxiety.
Chrissy was perched on the edge of the chair, on high alert. The silence in the cold office made her uneasy. She fiddles with the pick around her neck, a new self-soothing gesture she had started shortly after receiving Eddie's lucky charm.
Her cheer coach had popped in her first period and asked to speak with her privately. She has an idea of what this could intel but she hopes it's nothing major.
Coach Climmons, a woman in her early forties and with an impressive amount of bleached blonde curls, stared at Chrissy. Her expression was wry. She sat up straight and folded her arms. "I ran into your mother at the store the other day."
Chrissy blinks at her for a second before laughing nervously. "Oh, gosh. Did she talk your ear off?"
The corner of her mouth twitched. "Something like that. I asked how your uncle was doing and you know what's funny? She had no idea what I was talking about." she revealed with a forced laugh.
Mentally scrambling for any kind of explanation, Chrissy freezes, her mouth opens and then shuts. Before she can respond the older woman continues, "You lied to me. My family and I prayed for your family, hoping for a quick recovery and you lied to me. To say I'm disappointed is a far cry from the truth. I'm hurt. I've taken you under my wing, mentored you since you were fifteen years old, wrote you a letter of recommendation for Cincinnati University and you lied, straight to my face."
"Coach, I'm so sorry. I really didn't—"
"No! Please let me continue." She orders, releasing a deep sigh. "Your mother also informed me of your condition. This cheer team, as you know, follows strict policies. Hawkins Cheer does not have pregnant cheerleaders. Little girls in this town look up to you all, they want to be just like you when they're older. My girls set an example for them and I'm afraid you no longer fit within these terms. As of today, you are suspended from the remainder of this season. I need you to have your uniform dry cleaned and dropped off at my office, first thing tomorrow. Do I make myself clear?"
Numbly, she nods. "Yes—yes ma'am." She averts her eyes and looks blankly down at her lap. Her hands are shaking, and she takes a deep breath before moving to stand.
"I will be informing the team later today at practice. You may go back to class now." The coach states, her head down, while signing some forms on her desk.
Chrissy blinks back tears and bolts from the office.
Hastily, she scribbles a note for Anna, slipping it in her locker. The message is short and sweet.
'Meet me in the bathroom. CC'
She paces the girl's room while waiting for first period to finish. Looking in the mirror she flinches back from the image. Her mascara has left black smears under her lower lashes, her eyes are bloodshot, and the tip of her nose is bright red.
Working quickly, she grabs a handful of paper towels and dabs at her face, cleaning away the mess. Gripping onto the sides of the sink, her knuckles turning white, she stares at the reflection before her and tries, in vain, to steady her breathing.
The bell chimes and following its echo is the sound of loud chatter, filling the hallways of the passing period.
A few random girls walk in and head straight for the stalls. Anna soon follows in after them. The second she spots Chrissy she rushes over. "Hey, I got your note. Everything okay?" she asks.
Tears shimmered in her eyes, and she squeezed them shut, releasing a huff of air, trying to control herself. "I um—I just got kicked off the team. Coach said I have to—to return my uniform tomorrow." Her voice sounded wobbly in her own ears.
"Oh my God! What?!" Arms wrap around her, and she feels Anna rub her back. "I'm so sorry Chris. Did she say why?"
She holds onto her friend tightly and then steps away. "She said she knows that I lied, and she knows about the—" She pauses, looking around the bathroom. Other girls talk amongst themselves and seem to not notice them in the corner. "—the poppyseed situation. My mom told her." She finishes slowly and carefully.
Anna nods in understanding at their coding and then walks over to the sinks. "So, what now? Is she just going to replace you with only a few weeks of school left? That seems kind of stupid if you ask me." She scoffs as she applies her bright pink lipstick.
"I don't know, she didn't mention anything about that. She did say she's going to tell the team at practice today."
The snap of Anna's compact closing makes her flinch at the sudden noise. "Oh no! What is her deal?! It's like she wants to cause more drama! She knows everyone is gonna ask questions." She pointed out.
Chrissy just shrugs her shoulders. "If they do, can you… Can you tell them it's just something personal and that I'll tell them later? I'm sure they'll all find out eventually, but I'd rather have them hear it from me first."
Anna pulls her in for one last hug. "Yeah, of course. You know I've got your back. Now come on, I can't be late for Mrs. Yáñez's class."
Eddie and Chrissy walk into Ms. Kelly's office, hand in hand. She had warned him ahead of time that their school counselor knew of their relationship and that she approved of his support with battling her disorder. He also knew exactly why he was invited to join her for this session.
She could sense his worry, if the sweat on his palm was any indication to note, so she squeezed his hand tighter. She too had been anxious for this session and after the events from this morning with coach, she thinks this could be the most intense talk she's ever had with the older woman, but also the most helpful, for she is now lost, - unsure what the remaining of her senior year has to hold now that she's been stripped of her title.
The dim lit room and Ms. Kelly's kind smile eases their tension as they sit in the chairs in front of her metal desk. "Hi Chrissy, Eddie." She nods at them both.
Eddie gives her a tight smile with a little wave, wiggling his fingers.
"I'm glad to see you finally in my office Mr. Munson. I've been trying to get him to come speak with me for the last two years now." She teases to Chrissy with a grin.
"Yeah, well…here I am." He declares, bending his upper half in a mock bow.
The corner of her eyes crinkled, her lips pursed, "Here you are. Thank you for taking time out of your studies to join us today. The last time we spoke, Chrissy, you had mentioned you wanted to share something with me?"
Chrissy offers her a forced smile and crosses her legs, shifting in her seat. "Yes, I did–do. I still do." She pauses and looks over to Eddie before turning her eyes to the nameplate on the desk in front of her. "Earlier this morning I had spoken with Coach Climmons and she…She um…kicked me off the cheer team." she tells her, with an expressionless face. Her tone is careful, calculated.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Did she say why?" Ms. Kelly asks gently.
"Because she's a bitch. The coach– not Chrissy!" Eddie concurred, with his hands held up in a defensive manner. He had been livid when she told him the news, pacing up and down a deserted hallway, cursing under his breath.
At this, Ms. Kelly's eyes flash to Chrissy, waiting for an explanation.
"Well, she had found out about some things I had been lying to her about and she was hurt, but yeah, she was a bit harsh." she explains with a shrug, her eyes refusing to look at her face, still trained in front of her.
"Do you want to talk about these things, or do you want us to skip this for now?" Ms. Kelly asks her.
Chrissy reaches over to hold Eddie's hand. "No, I want to talk about them– I need to. She had found out that I'm…I'm pregnant." she confessed, her voice soft.
The counselor's brows shot up. At a loss for words, her dark eyes turn soft, something close to pity settling deep within them. "You're pregnant Chrissy? How–how long have you known?"
"She found out almost a month after spring break." Eddie chimes in.
Ms. Kelly snapped her focus on him. "And are you the…?" she questions with caution.
"He is."
"Yep."
They both answer, their words overlapping each other. Eddie casts an awkward smile at the older woman, who lays her pencil down and sits back in her leather chair, processing the news.
Chrissy leans forward and lays a hand on top of the desk, now trying to look directly in the counselor's eyes. "Besides her and our family, no one else knows. I wanted to tell you because I do respect you Ms. Kelly and I didn't want to keep lying to you too. You deserve to know the truth." she explains.
Ms. Kelly nods in understanding and offers her a sad smile. "I do appreciate that, Chrissy. Thank you. How are you feeling about all of this? You said that your family already knows, how do they feel about it?"
With a great sigh, Chrissy sits back into her seat. "They were–are–furious with me. Disappointed. We didn't really get to sit down and tell them, like we are now, with you. They all kind of found out on their own." She shakes her head and lets out a dark chuckle. "As for me, everything is changing and I just–I feel like I can't control anything. My body is changing, I'm always exhausted, and morning sickness is apparently an all-day thing–who knew?! The other day, I was at Eddie's place, and I felt nauseous, so I jumped up to run to the bathroom and I didn't make it in time. I literally threw up– in my hands!" She cries, lifting her hands and making a cupping motion, demonstrating the action.
Eddie smirks at the memory. "It was pretty impressive." Chrissy cringed as she lightly kicked his shoe.
Ms. Kelly writes something down in her notes before looking back up at the two teens. "I can see how all of this would feel very troubling and unstable. This is a lot for anyone to handle, especially for a young couple, like you two. You are both still growing up and now you have another life that you are responsible for." She says, smiling at both of them. "Things may seem unpredictable right now, but you do have control, Chrissy. You can still control your happiness and your health. You control the outcome of your grades, who you chose to spend your time with and how you spend it. From what you've told me, I really do believe that you both are a good support system for each other."
She looked down at her lap, a smile tugging on the corners of her lips. "Yeah, I think so too."
"I also know that we have talked about the stress being in cheer has had on you for a while. I think maybe being off the team will lift some of this tension and allow you to focus on your goals. Perhaps it is even a blessing in disguise."
Chrissy can see how she would come to this conclusion, a blessing in disguise, but was it? Is all of this some fucked up 'blessing'? Then what's the lesson to be learned here? Tears threaten to fill her eyes again just thinking of it again. She offers a weak shrug, "Maybe. It just feels so unfair. I've worked so hard for so long to be captain of that team. I have given years of my life for her. Blood, sweat and tears just to be thrown out like I'm tras-" she stops herself, covering her mouth and turns her head towards the brick wall, hiding her face.
A warn hand touches her shoulder. "Here baby." Eddie hands her a tissue, keeping his hand on her shoulder and rubbing it gently. "It's okay, let it out." His voice is low and delicate, like he's speaking to a frightened animal.
"He's right. It's perfectly normal and reasonable to be sad or frustrated by this, to mourn even. It's a big change for you. I think for certain changes in our lives like this, it's helpful to view them as one chapter coming to an end and another one beginning." Ms. Kelly consoles her.
Chrissy dabs at her eyes, her mouth lifts in a sad smile. "A new chapter." she repeats softly, nodding to herself.
Ms. Kelly glances up at the clock on the light pink wall. "Looks like we are running out of time. Let's continue this discussion next time, okay Chrissy?" She says to the blonde before looking at Eddie. "- and Eddie? Please know that you are more than welcome to come chat with me if you need to. I can imagine that the next few months are going to be a lot for you both and juggling your studies on top of this can be challenging." she stresses.
He clears his throat and nods. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea."
Chrissy smiles fondly at the exchange, feeling relieved and hopeful.
Laying in Eddie's bed, cuddled up, Chrissy listens to the calming sound of his heartbeat. She knew he had to drop her off at home soon, it was a Wednesday night and he had to meet up with someone later for a deal and then go in for training at his new job at the music store. Her finger lightly traces the strange tattoo, of the puppet, on the inner part of his arm.
An idea pops into her mind and she sits up, startling Eddie. "I just got an idea…"
"And what might that be, Sunshine?" He asks, playing with the ends of her hair.
She looks at him and her eyes fill with mischief. "We should enjoy the last day with my cheer uniform." Her voice dropped low and suggestive.
His eyebrows shoot up in surprise and he stammers, "Tha–that IS a good idea but maybe we should just–"
Her face falls, rejection creeping its way through her chest. "You don't want to? Really?" Scoffing, she gets up off the bed and stands with her hands on her hips. "Why are you being like this?" she questions him.
Eddie stares up at her in confusion. "What? It's not that I don't want to, baby, I've just been tired lately."
"Me too but still…You haven't touched me since before the scare Eddie. Do you– do you not want me anymore?" she asks quietly, her arms coming around her small frame to hug herself.
His eyes widen and he sputters, trying to think of a response. He shakes his head frantically, his hands coming up to follow the motion.
"You know I'm right! It's like you're scared you're going to break me or something. I'm not fragile Eddie. God! Why won't you just fuck me?!" she yells, frustratingly horny.
He moves off of the bed and, in a blur, grabs her and pushes her back on the mattress. His lips capture hers in a heated kiss and she moans into it, bringing her hands up and into his hair.
Her hands grasp at his shirt and start pulling it up and over his head. He helps her, tossing it off into the corner of his messy room. His lips travel down from her mouth to the edge of her jaw and further, to her neck, nipping and licking at the smooth skin.
Layers of clothes get discarded and they both touch and nip wherever their lips could reach. Eddie begins to pull on the lining of her panties when she stops him, sitting up, her breath coming out in huffs. "Let me put on my uniform. Don't move!" she orders, pointing her finger at him.
He throws an arm over his eyes and tries to steady his breathing.
Moments later, she tiptoes back into the room, fully dressed in her cheer uniform. She eyes the handcuffs that hang from the handle on his closet door. Her hand quickly grabs the cuffs, and she hides them behind her back. Walking around the bed, she tries to stay quiet as her hand reaches out and grabs his wrist. In a flash, she moves to straddle his hips while locking his wrist in the cuffs.
Eddie watches her with wide eyes. "Hey, hey now–where did you find those? Chrissy–baby, I don't– ah! Careful with the pinch." he warns, his hips squirming under hers. She sits back and admires her work while tracing his bare chest, her tongue sticking out adorably.
His arms are up over his head, wrist locked together, and he lays helpless and hard beneath her. Chrissy giggles before leaning down and hushing him with a sensual kiss. He groans into her mouth, leaning up into the kiss. She pulls away and he tries to follow, whining when she sits back again.
"I've missed feeling you inside me sweets. Do you wanna see how much I've missed you?" she asks in a low sultry tone, her hand running down her own body. She palms her breasts, gently, and rocks her hips against his, feeling him harden through his boxers. She settles back further, leaning back and spreads her legs, showing off her bare cunt.
Eddie groans, his hips jerking at the sight. "No panties? Baby, you aren't playing fair." he huffs.
Chrissy could feel her body react to his words and her touch, her nipples hardened and strained against her shirt. She felt a wetness form between her thighs. Feeling daring, she wanted to put on a little show for him, so she threw her head back and moaned as her fingers reached down and touched her wet folds. "I'm so wet Eddie." she breathed.
She plays with herself, rubbing at her clit, sliding her fingers through her lower lips, smearing her wetness over her opening. Her hips roll and she begins to pant as she slips a finger into her warmth. "Yes-fuck baby! Add another finger." he moans beneath her, watching her motions closely.
She adds a second finger and moans. She was so warm, so wet. Her thighs began to shake and she looked down to see his dark eyes watching her hand with such an intensity she nearly came undone right then and there but she wasn't done just yet.
"Do you wanna fill me up? Fill me up with your come—make me keep all of it inside me." she pants, her eyes holding his scorching gaze.
Eddie bits his lip and groans deep in his throat. "Wanna come deep inside you baby. Fuck! Baby, please let me touch you." he whines.
Laughing softly, Chrissy stops her fingers, pulling them from herself and then sits up and hovers over him. With her sticky fingers she traces his lips. His tongue peeks out to licks them.
"Be patient my sweets." she whispers before stealing a kiss. Eddie opens his mouth for her and their tongues dance and caress each other. He nipples on her bottom lip, bringing it in between his teeth. Moaning, she pushes against his chest and moves back down to his hips.
Her fingers hook into the hem of his boxers, and he lifts his hips to help her slide them off. His cock springs free, precum glistening on the tip in all its glory. She leans down and licks it off, causing Eddie to gasp and chokes out a groan.
Her tongue licks along his length and then she moves back to the tip, sucking around it. She moves her hand to his side to hold his hips still. She sucks him for a few seconds before releasing it with a pop. Moving her thighs to settle just right, she takes hold of his cock and lines him up to her hole.
Looking down at him from her hooded eyes, she slowly sinks down. They both moan together as she takes him inch by inch. When she took him as far as she could, feeling him bottom out inside her, she placed her hands on his chest and began to rock her hips. Finding a nice, slow, steady pace, she rode him. The bottom of her cheer skirt bunched up around her thighs, covering and hiding where they were joined.
Eddie pants and moans under her, "You feel so good. That's it baby, ride my cock. Fuck–you're so sexy sitting on it like it's your throne."
"Mhmm– it is. It's mine." she breaths, her voice breaking slightly, sounding high pitched.
"All yours, baby."
A new wave of heat was beginning to build inside Chrissy, and she decided that she didn't want slow any longer. Picking up her pace, she takes off her top and then leans forward onto his chest. Bare chest against bare chest. Her face hides in the crook of his neck as her hips rock and roll into his.
There was no going back now, her body needed this release as much as it needed air, and her heartbeat matched the pace of their movements.
Then, all at once, her eyes clenched shut as the rush caught up with her and tipped over the edge. Her back arched, she moaned loudly against his skin and as her pussy clenched around his cock, she came fast and hard. Tingles ran through her body as she shook over him.
"Yes baby, come on my cock. Good girl—ugh—so good." Eddie purrs in her ear.
Chrissy pants as she recovers, nuzzling up along his jaw and neck. She gives him a sweet peck and then sits up. "Okay, now where's that key?"
"It should be somewhere in that top draw." he tells her.
She leans over to the side and then digs through the clutter of his nightstand. "Found it!" she announces happily.
Eddie jerks his hips as a reminder of his still hard dick. "Oh, thank God!" he breaths with a laugh.
As soon as Chrissy undoes the lock, Eddie quickly moves and takes hold of her waist, flipping her around. "Now it's my turn." he whispers, his lips close to her ear. A shiver runs through her at his words and she's more than ready, – ready to go again.
Later that week, Anna and Chrissy find their prom dresses while shopping around in a nearby town. Chrissy buys a yellow gown, which she was thankful for the tulle skirt to hide her tiny bump, and Anna picks a bright pink dress. They walk down the sidewalk, heading towards Anna's car, arms looped and their bags swinging from their hands.
"I can't believe Connor asked you finally! Is he going to wear a neon pink bowtie?" Chrissy wonders, grinning at her friend.
Anna snorts, "I doubt it but that would be kind of sweet, right? What about Eddie? Is he going to show up wearing his Hellfire club shirt?" she teases back.
Chuckling, Chrissy lightly elbows her side. "Not if I have a say in it. I don't know if he even has a suite that he could wear."
"He did like, actually ask you, right?"
At this, Chrissy pauses before shrugging. "I mean, if we're already dating, does he have to? I thought it was kind of a given…"
Anna clicks her tongue. "Yeah, but you know how some guys are. You gotta spell it out for them." she points out.
She hums in response, going quiet. Would she have to ask him? Did he plan on going with her or not? He hadn't mentioned anything as of yet about the prom, busy with his deals and working at his new job at the music store.
Her stomach begins to turn from nerves, and she quickens her step, pulling Anna along.
End Notes: I feel ehhhhh about this one. Hope I'm not boring you all with my slow ass plot. :')
