The first thing Lin Ye saw was an unfamiliar hall. There were windows that were letting the glow of the moon pass through them, lighting up the hall a bit.

That was good and all but there was something that made him uncomfortable with the new situation he found himself in.

One, he did not see Nian anywhere near him.

Two, he could feel someone holding his shoulders.

Lin Ye broke free from the gasp that was holding him. His hand rushed to Maple and just when Lin Ye was about to pull it out and cut the person, he heard a familiar voice.

"Woah!"

He raised a brow at the figure that was in the shadows. When Lin Ye squinted his eyes at it, he finally knew who it was.

He put his hand away from Maple.

"Ah, sorry, sorry." Mostima put her hands together in front of her and said to Lin Ye apologetically, "I just want to surprise you."

In front of him was a smiling woman that had blue hair. Two staffs could be seen hanging behind her. Although dark, Lin Ye could easily see the features that only she would have.

The horns and halo on her head made him recognize who this person was.

He only knew one person who had both Sarkaz and Sankta traits.

Lin Ye stared blankly at Mostima who suddenly appeared in front of him.

"..."

Unsurprisingly, Lin Ye did not know what to say in this weird situation. Although he wanted to find her, this was not how he imagined it would play out.

"Hey, hey? Can you see me?" Mostima stretched out her hand, dangling in front of Lin Ye, and then deliberately said in a wildly exaggerated voice, "You really can't see me?"

Lin Ye came back to his senses and grabbed Mostima's hand.

"Mostima?!" He shouted. "Why are you here?!"

She giggled at his reaction.

"What are you talking about?" Mostima said with a smile, "Didn't you just come to find me?"

He sighed at her answer.

"I did, but this was not how I thought I was going to find you," He massaged his head. Then Lin Ye remembered something, "Ah, I forgot. I got a call just now."

"Good to know," He smiled at her, "Thanks for telling me this."

"Who is she to you?"

"Huh?"

That caught him off guard. He stared at Mostima and saw she was still smiling at him.

However, there was something different about this one that she was showing to him now. He just couldn't say getting a call from his sister was not something he expected to get when he was breaking into a prison. Seeing that his life was full of unexpected situations, Lin Ye was not that surprised by now.

Then he realized that he did not have his phone on him.

Not in his pocket or in his pocket.

It was gone.

When he looked around he found that there were only the two of them now.

"You have a phone with you just now?" Mostima asked back. Then she looked at one of her staff, "I didn't notice that. Wait a moment… Help me impress him"

Lin Ye saw Mostima take one of her staff, the black one and waved it around.

At first, nothing happened but Lin Ye then noticed the surroundings started to swirl around the staff. When the space around the staff had a portal, Mostima stretched out her hand into the swirl.

After putting her hand into a pocket, Mostima's hand disappeared in the swirl. After a while of moving her hand around, Mostima found something in her little pocket dimension and pulled it out.

It was his phone.

His eyes widened at all of this.

Mostima smirked when she saw Lin Ye look at what was happening. She held out his phone to him.

"Here," Mostima said as she smiled at him, "Your phone."

Lin Ye looked at his phone and back at Mostima's face which had a smile.

"How did you do that?" Taking his phone away from her, Lin Ye asked.

This only made Mostima smile even wider. She put a finger on her lips and leaned in closer to him.

"A secret," She replied as patted the staff in her hand.

Seeing that her lips were sealed tight, Lin Ye smiled and let out a sigh.

He looked back at his phone and noticed when he tried to turn it on, it did not light up.

"Huh?" Lin Ye raised a brow at this "It's broken?"

"Really?"

Mostima rushed to his side and true to his words, when he looked at his phone it was indeed broken. She could easily see cracks on his phone.

This made the smile on her face disappear. She looked back at him.

"Sorry about that," This time she sounded genuine when she apologized now, "I just wanted to scare you. I did not think I would break it."

Lin Ye looked back at her and shook his head at her.

"It's fine," He pocketed back his phone into the inner pocket of his jacket, "Although it might be broken, I can still retrieve the information in it."

Then an Idea popped into her head.

"How about I buy you a new phone later?" She offered.

Lin Ye thought about this.

"Thanks for the offer, I will see you when I am free then," He nodded. Then he remembered something, "I got my phone back but where's my friend?"

This only made Mostima smile cheekily at him. She twirled around for a bit and now stood in front of him.

"Well.." She drawled out, "I could only get you here. She's still in the building safe and sound. So, don't worry."

Far away from them, Nian could be seen storming around the hall. Her body was letting out a worrying amount of heat.

"When I find that bitch, I will tear her to shreds!"

Her screams echoed in the hall.

Luckily for Mostima, the two of them did not hear her of how far they were away for now.

Hearing this Lin Ye let out a sigh of relief.

ut a finger on what it was.

"That woman," She leaned closer to him, "Who's she?"

"Nian?" Lin Ye finally understands what she means now. He smiled at her, "She's my little sister."

"Sister? You have a sister?" It was her turn to be surprised, "She's looked nothing like you."

Lin Ye chuckled at this.

"You're right," He hummed, "But she's my sister nonetheless."

"Is that so…" She smiled at him, "Good to hear you meet good people."

Her smile was what he remembered how it was now.

Less frightening and more…

Comforting.

"So, can you tell me how you know I am here?" Mostima asked, "Not even Exusiai and Emperor know about this."

"Diana told me," Seeing there was no problem with telling her this, he truthfully answered.

"Diana? Who's that?" Mostima raised a brow at this.

"I almost forgot that is not her name," Lin Ye nodded, understanding her confusion, "She's a LIberi with red hair. Hot tempered. Angry resting face."

"Ah! Her!" Mostima instantly knew who he was talking about, "She's Diana now? Much better than Suffering, I guess."

"So she's changed her name a lot huh?" This intrigued him, "Why? And who is she?"

Mostima placed both of her hands on her hips and smiled at him.

"She's a friend of mine, no matter how much she tries to deny that," She smugly told him, "To understand who she is, you need to know who I am first."

Lin Ye nodded and kept quiet to let her continue.

"So I am what you called a Legatus or the department that I am in is the Legati. The Legati serve as peacekeepers. We envoyü to numerous countries, which helps to reduce tensions and earns us the title of Nuntii Apostolici," Mostima explained to him in detail, "However, Laterano does not give us their full trust when going to other countries. Maybe one of us will leak information about Laterano. This is where the Nuncio comes in. They are overseers for us. And mine is that person you met."

Lin Ye nodded at this new information.

"Then why does she change her name?"

"That is just one of the things that they needed to do," Mostima answered. "They need to change their name once every month."

Lin Ye nodded.

Mostima then walked closer to him.

"What else did she tell you?"

"Well, she did tell me about the thing in you."

This made Mostima's eyes widen. Then she hurriedly closed his mouth and put her finger on her lips.

"Shhh!" She said to him, "What would happen if people heard us?"

Lin Ye was confused by this. He gently pushed her hand away from her mouth.

"You don't need to worry," Lin Ye reassured her, "No one can hear us."

She narrowed her eyes at him.

"How can you be so sure?"

Lin Ye then flicked the white earring that was on his ear.

"I have a charm on me that makes sure no one can find me." Lin Ye smiled at her, "You don't need to worry."

Mostima stared at the earring and narrowed her eyes at it.

"So that was why you were so hard to find," Mostima said, making Lin Ye confused.

Just as Lin Ye was about to ask more of her, Mostima took a step back and turned her back to him.

She held out her hand to him and stared at him with a smile on her face.

"Let's go somewhere else."

Lin Ye stared at her hand and looked back at her smiling.

After debating with himself for a while, Lin Ye took her hand.

And for a second, the smile on her face could light up the whole building with how bright it was now.

A door on the top floor slowly opened up. Two people could be seen talking through it. The girl who was leading the other was holding his hand as she guided him.

Lin Ye saw that they must be on the top floor of this very building.

How?

Well because the only thing that was on this floor was a roof and no wall.

Mostima let go of his hand and walked to the edge of the floor. She stopped just a few steps away from the end.

"Come here!" She called, "The view is amazing."

Lin Ye walked to her side and saw her smiling at him.

Before she could say anything, she pointed up.

"The sky is beautiful today."

Lin Ye followed her finger. The moment he saw it, his eyes widened.

His eyes were now glued to the sight in front of us.

The moon lit up the dark night sky. The stars around it seemed to be dancing while twinkling in the sky. Without a cloud in the sky and less light being this late, Lin Ye could see the full beauty of the night sky.

"It's beautiful." He muttered while his eyes were on the sky.

While Lin Ye was focusing all of his attention on the sky, Mostima had something else to stare at.

Her gaze was locked on the two portals of Lin Ye's soul. And from what she was seeing at the moment, his soul was something that made her glad to be alive. The light that was coming from the celestial bodies in the sky was being reflected by his eyes, making them like portals to the very night sky.

And his face…

That was the thing that made her heart beat faster. The smile on his face glowed brighter than any star twinkling above them.

At this very moment, it was the first time Mostima felt glad that she was living.

"Yeah," Smiling to herself, Mostima smiled at the man, "It is."

After saying this, Mostima walked away from him.

Hearing her steps, Lin Ye looked away from the sky and turned around to see Mostima staring at him.

Still had a smile on her face.

"Did Diana tell you about why I am like this?" She asked.

Lin Ye did not need to think too long to understand what she meant.

"You broke the Law." Lin Ye muttered.

"Yes."

She nodded and then she slowly took off her shirt and jacket. Tossing away those clothing to the side, the only thing that was covering her was now her bra.

"That, and what is inside me."
