Eiji told me his own side of our joint quests later on...

"It was a few days later when I was going to meet Fatgum in a new location, when I was surprised to see Midoriya.

"Oh! Morning, Midoriya! You heading out to your job today? What a coincidence!"

"It's my first day back after a while, and they said I don't need my costume..."

Uraraka and Asui joined us on the lawn with a wave. "Huh!? G'morning! You guys, too?!"

A hero ran up to us as we walked towards the train station. "The station? I'll take you guys there!

"Wow! Thanks a lot!" Uraraka cried.

"Thank you."

"So many heroes."

"Huh?!" said Midoriya as we arrived at the train station. "All on the same train!? I thought you were based in Kansai, Kirishima..."

"I am! Meeting up somewhere different than usual today."

"Same here." said Asui.

A little later, as we all sat together on the train, Midoriya asked, "We're getting off at hte same station? This really is a coincidence!"

"We're meeting our group on-site," explained Asui.

We all practiced poking out our tongues as we walked together in a little group through the streets of downtown Tokyo. "Walking in the same direction, turning the same corner," muttered Midoriya as we rounded - and saw Amajiki with Hado and Togata.

"Hiya!"

"Hey!"

"..."

"And the big three are all here? What the heck is this?" Midoriya finished. We arrived at the building's confernece room as Fatgum had instructed, and found a huge group of pro heroes there, including plenty I didn't recognize, and a few I did - including Mr. Aizawa."

"So many of us!" cried Midoriya. "Wow! What's this about?"

"Ryukyu!" said Hado, running over to our sensei to hug her. "Hey hey, what're we doing here?! I know you said something about a meeting, but what is it?!"

"You'll find out soon," said Ryukyu. "Shall we begin, Nighteye?"

"Thanks to the intel provided byall of you," said Nighteye, who was a pro that dressed like a salaryman, "We're making great strides with this investigation. The small organizatio known as Shie Hasaikai is plotting something. I've called you all to this discussion to share with you exactly what we know. Let's go over everything, setp by step."

We had some time before the meeting started. Uraraka hurried over to Aizawa sensei.

"Sensei!"

"Why are you here, Sensei?"

"I was called over. They asked for my help, so here I am. I've been told the gist of what's going on, and there's something I have to tell everyone."

"Feeling kinda outta the loop, here," I told Fatgum. "Hasai-what now? Wuzzat?"

"They're probably planning to do something rough, which is why we're here to talk about it. And it's got plenty to do with you two.

We all assembled around the meeting room table at last. Me and Amajiki sat with Fatgum. Sir Nighteye's sidekick Bubble Girl started reading from a mission brief. "For the past few weeks or so, here at the Nighteye agency, we have been...uh...conducting an independent investigation of the designated villain group known as Shie Hasaiikai."

"What started all this?" asked another pro hero.

"An incident involving a band of thieves called the Reservoir dogs. The police wrote it off as a mere accident, but there were a few inconsistencies that prompted our investigation."

A guy who looked like a giant centipede stood up. "Nighteye agency sidekick centipeder here. Under Nighteye's orders, I've been following some of the leads. According to my findings, the organization has been making extensive contact with outsiders and underworld dealers throughout the past year. Their goals seem to be the expansion and accumulation of funds. And shortly after we began investigation, they made contact with a member of hte League of Villains. Jin Bubaigawara, who goes by the villain name Twice. They were all very wary of being tailed, so we couldn't pursue them then, but the police have provided further assistance. Their findings confirm some sort of conflict between the two groups."

I shuddered a bit at the thought of the League. An older pro in white with a yellow cloak said, "Something to do with hte League, huh? So that's why you reached out to me and Tsukauchi."

"Where is Detective Tsukauchi?"

"Following up with more eyewitnesses."

The older pro turned to Midoriya and said, "Kid, let's hope it doesn't come to this, but you might get dragged into some nasty business."

"It's no trouble at all!" said Midoriya.

"Friend of yours?" Togata asked him. "From my internship."

Nighteye said, "Continue."

That geezer was with All Might in Kamino...Midoriya sure knows some wild people.

His sidekick went on, "So given these developments, we reached out to all of you for help via HN."

"Skip to the next part," said Centipeder.

"HN?" Uraraka asked.

"The Hero Network," said Nejire Hado. "It's a web service for licensed heroes. You can check out what heroes arll over the country are doing and even put in requests to heroes with quirks that might come in handy for whatever you're working on."

A pro hero in a domino mask snapped, "UA Students or not, what're these kids even doing here? They're just slowing us down. The sun's gonna set before we even get to talking about hte bad guy's plan."

"BALONY!" Fatgum, standing up. "These two are super important participants!"

"You mean us?" I asked.

"This gag's getting old," muttered Amajiki.

"Also," Fatgum added, turning to Uraraka and Asui. "Also I'm seeing plenty of unfamiliar places here! I'm Fatgum! Nice to meetcha!"

"So round and cute,"they said.

"Ah! Have some candy!" he tossed them some.

"Hasaiikai was once suspected of dealing in illegal substances," said Sir. "Which is why I've called in a hero familiar with such things."

Fatgum said, "Back in the day, I squashed loads of dealers like that! And then during Red Riot's debut battle the other day the perp went and shot up Tamaki here with a type of drug I've never seen before. A drug that destroys quirks."

'So what about you?" he asked me...

Well, Musha's call came in. As I headed out for the train station with Hagakure and Aoyama, I noticed that quite a few of my classmates seemed to be headed in the same direction - Jirou and Shoji, Yaoyoorzu and her friend from Class 1B, even Iida; all of them were headed out at the same time.

"Oh hey, morning Jirou!" I called out. "Going to your work study? Me too!"

"Yeah," Jirou replied. "First time back in a while, no costume."

"Good morning, all!" Iida salted us with a chop. "It seems too be a busy day for work studies."

"Indeed," said Yaoyorozu. There was something odd in her tone.

"I'll walk you kids," Midnight-sensei appeared out of nowhere. "No point in taking villain risks!"

"Thanks!" said Hagakure.

"Merci, mademoiselle," added Aoyama.

When we arrived at the train station, I noticed that the others were in fact going to the same downtown train station that I was.

Jirou asked Yaoyorozu, "I thought you were a little further out."

"Yes, I am. But today Mr. Majestic asked that I meet up in downtown Tokyo."

"As did Mr. Manual!" Iida added. "Strange coincidence."

"Did Mr. Musha asked you to meet here too?" Yaomomo asked us. I nodded. "YEp yep yep! What d'you suppose it's all about?"

"Must be a big deal," muttered Jirou.

Our group drew a large number of stares on the train, a very odd collection of young pro heroes. We all headed downtown and found ourselves headed, indeed, to the same place: A towering skyscraper in the heart of the city. We all took the elevator to the top floor. Through it all, I did my best to marshall the others and keep them from making too much of a fuss; of course, by now they'd all started to learn protocol.

In the conference room, many pro heroes were assembled. Mr. Manual and Arrow; Death Arms, Uwabami, Tigress, Gang Orca, and Miss Midnight, who had somehow beaten us there. And of course, Mr. Musha.

"Hey Mr. Musha!" I called out as we joined him and his sidekicks.

"Sensei," I overheard Yaoyorozu saying to Majestic, "Is this it?"

"Yes, Creaty. Sorry for the secrecy, but we're trying to keep this meeting from catching too many eyes."

"And Miss Midnight," Yaoyorozu added. "Why are you here?"

"I got the summons from Majestic here," said sensei, smiling in an odd way at Majestic. "Thought it sounded exciting."

"What exactly is going on? You guys got a clue?" I asked Jirou.

"Some idea," she replied. "But I figure they'll explain it all.

With a word, a gesture from someone, we knew it was time to assemble for the meeting. Majestic stood at the head of the table with a police officer by his side. I sat with my friends and teammates.

"We've been gathering information for some time," began the officer, "on this case. All of your agencies have had run-ins with this group of villains over the last few weeks. There have certainly been more, and a few agencies who did so that could not appear. Police around the country have been sharing intel, however, so between us we should have enough people to successfully explain. Everyone here has had an encounter with a villain in a Noh theater mask calling themselves after the seven deadly sins. They have been appearing frequently at a long series of disconnected crime scenes lately. We attained information from the Ryukyu hero agency that they recently encountered the ones known as 'Lust' and 'Greed', working with a telekinetic villain called MAgus to steal a large pile of forbidden goods. They could respectively paralyze and read the minds of victims nad demonstrate superhuman strength."

Majestic turned to Iida. "Manual's agency?"

"We encountered a villain known as Sloth," said Mr. Manual. "She was also facilitating a theft. She could slow down teh human body with a wave of her hand."

"Ours," said Musha, "encountered Gluttony and Envy. Gluttony was capable of absorbing and dissolving matter. Envy has possession powers."

"And we," said Gang Orca. "Encountered Wrath." There was a silence, and he looked oddly at Tigress. "Who could paralyze victims with a scream. She was working with a mystery agency known only as NIGHTMARE."

A shudder passed around the room.

Majestic added, "And our agency encountered Pride, who can cause victims to lose equilibrium, which rounds out hte lot. Ours caused some seemingly pointless chaos, just as we were preparing to interview a murder suspect. The two events may be unrelated, but they may not be. There have been similar sightings at other crime scenes all over Japan. Their identities are unknown for certain, but there are many suspects. What remains to be done is to determine the point of all their criminal activity. That is what we are here today to achieve."
