{ Battle ; Twofold!! (Part 2) }

It can be clearly said that Earth Dragon Noce is much larger, heavier, and stronger than most dragons at his level.

With a ferocious, wild snarl showing most of his teeth, he glared at the little people and then indiscriminately moved forwards, creating a rumbling on the ground equivalent to that of a Type 4.0 Earthquake with each step he makes.

However, even if he was several times stronger than his normal humanoid form, he does have a big disadvantage - his massive size leads to a slower movement speed, and that is something Lock's party needs to take advantage of.

The soldiers, knowing what to do, had started to carry the unconscious Dragon Kalars to safety, whilst calling for the Arsenal Drivers to come and support Lock's party.

This battle of theirs was going to be harshly destructive.

[ Cue BGM: Attack on Dragon ]

Sifrit grabbed the hilt of his massive sword, and began coating it with dark energies before going into another stance.

Lock, Stella and Lucia were now beside him, readying their weapons, except Lucia, who readied her spells silently.

"That dragon... it's massive!!!" Stella commented, feeling intimidated not just from Earth Dragon Noce's (E.D.N.'s) size but also the aura of bloodlust coming out from him.

"Mass Agility Booster!" Lucia spoke out her Divine Magic spell's name quickly before evading a massive swipe from Noce's massive claw with her partners.

Then, feeling the boost of his agility, Lock proceeded to dash towards E.D.N. and swing his spear several times to the rocky scales, only to find out that it wasn't too effective, but still effective. It's as if he struck a hard stone at several years back, expecting it to split open, only for it to get chipped.

That's exactly what happened at this moment. His instincts flared up in two fractions of a second, making him dodge a strike from E.D.N's claw, yet was a little too late to dodge the other claw.

Lucia pushed Lock off, taking the strike while her arms were crossed.

And she definitely felt it as she was launched backwards, only planting her feet to the ground to slow herself down while gritting her teeth. Once she stopped, she breathed out a sigh of relief whole her arms started shaking.

"Lock, are you okay?" She bluntly asked, glancing behind her to see an awestruck Knight General.

"W-what about you?!" He shouted, genuinely worried about her.

"My arms are just bruised, nothing else to say than just a light wound. Now focus! I still have around 85% mana remaining as of now!" Lucia replied, healing her bruise easily with magic before pulling Lock back up and hesitated when

Then, they saw Sifrit and E.D.N. clashing against each other with shockwaves appearing right between their colliding sword and claws.

It appears that Sifrit was visibly starting to struggle, as E.D. Noce punched the Abyssal Dragon with intense force that blew him away from their place of battle, then focused on the three Lis Humans.

Feeling something dangerous coming for them, the party prepared.

Then, Noce started launching massive fireballs from his massive head, forcing Lucia and Lock to move in order to evade the fireballs. And then, Stella looked a little annoyed as her flaming rapier shined.

She stood as a red aura enveloped her, and before long, she attacked using her rapier, splitting apart the fireball that was coming for her with a wide flaming arc of energy which then hit Noce with a massive explosion, she followed up by sending more arcs of flaming energy towards said dragon.

"Flare Cross-Slash!!!" She shouted, sending two more arcs that were stronger than the previous ones to Noce, but the dragon barely evaded it, making him start breathing fire towards Stella. The princess was getting tired just by the use of her previous attacks, and for some reason, her mana was burning itself out!

"Hey! Right over here! And thanks for the distraction, Stella!" Lock shouted, making Noce stop breathing fire and turned around while the earth rumbled under his steps.

His multiple golden eyes narrowed, seeing that Lock was ready to dash forwards, his spear pointed towards Noce, the difference right now is that his spear was glowing with magical energy covering it.

Lock was grinning very confidently, and it irritated Noce.

"Cocky, aren't you!?" Noce shouted, before Lock vanished before his sight, leaving a nonchalant Lucia alone, and then a loud boom resounded throughout the area, originating from where Lock was supposed to be.

Basically, he went to the Mach speed of 1.7, so how is that possible? Lucia started casting as many ability boosting spells as possible to Lock and his spear, in order to strengthen and reinforce his entire body several times and make his spear sharper and better.

"Exceed Burst: Dead Stinger!!!" Lock shouted, as a figure of the grim reaper appeared behind him, ready to reap the Dragon with him.

Then his spear hit Noce right on his chest, piercing it and giving his reinforced draconic body a webbed crack that was on his chest that was really painful to him. The force that the hit has also travelled throughout his body, rattling his bones and heavily damaging his organs except his brain.

"GuHAH!?!?!?" Noce coughed out blood.

However, Lock wasn't done yet, as he started wildly slashing his spear towards the damaged chest of E.D.N, swiftly cutting off the thick, rocky scales with his spear. Noce was becoming horrified, yet he was too late.

"You're wide open!!!" Lock shouted, throwing "Silver Wasp" to the bare, wounded chest of Noce.

"No...! I, the... Great... KUH! Earth Dragon... Has... fallen!!!" Noce shouted, slowly reverting to his normal, humanoid form with Lock's spear lodged onto his chest. Unfortunately, it was where his heart was.

And thus, Noce died.
