A STRANGE VOICE IN MY HEAD
Aizawa Shota had always liked to stay in the dark, he was respected and liked among the other strong monsters that ruled the reigns of the other side. Ever since that idiot decided to take a leave to find out god knows who or what, the responsibilities as the leader of the neutral zone only grew.
They had the usual barkings every month, every meeting. It's always the same, either some vampire sneaking inside the werewolve's territory or a werewolf picking up a fight in the vampire's zone. On the other hand, the neutral zone is easy to rule with one basic rule: no killing in here, unless it is the opposite, he's not always needed in those gatherings so there's no one breathing down his neck about assisting every meeting.
There are many things that Aizawa would like to control, but it's better to pretend that everything is alright than to only meet disappointment.
Having agreed on all of that, no one would dare to wake him up from his eighth nap this morning. It's been a while since someone has gone to this part of the library, it's not that the monsters hate it here, there were some bookworms here and there like the very man who looks out for the place or if some new soul came here and needed some data to survive this place. He doesn't hate it here and the quietness he feels at this part of the library is part of his everyday life.
On a normal basis, he would wrapp the intruder with his bandages full of dust and force him on his knees along with his arms up in the air until his body would contort because of the stiffness and soreness. He would've done it if not because of the weird energy emitting from the green haired man's body the moment he turned around the corner when he found out the weird foreplay between the stranger, Bakugou, the alpha with his beta and the son of Endeavor, Todoroki.
"This is your fault, fucking Deku." The blonde alpha looked down at the ghost who had his eyes fixated on the mummy's frame.
"How come this is my fault?!" Izuku's tempted to jab the alpha with his elbow, but his arms didn't even get one inch sideways before Aizawa's bandages came lurking from the ground as a warning as if not to raise his voice. "And it's Izuku not Deku…!"
"Ugh…" Aizawa shifted against the pile of books that resembled a bed and bent his head then his left hand came up to squeeze his nose as an attempt to slow the headache because of the noise they were causing. "My head."
Katsuki used that moment and lowered his head to the side, right over Izuku's ear. "I hate to have my territory invaded." A soothing whisper flowed directly into the ghost's ear.
"Need I remind you that this is a neutral zone?" Izuku felt a shiver down his spine at the slow scratchy remark.
Why was it so scary if he whispered it so softly?
"If there's someone I don't like, what's mine?" Katsuki paused to look at Todoroki's bored frame then went back to look at Izuku. "I'll want to kill him." His voice was so calm as if talking to a child.
"Oh? Well?" Izuku blinked and passed the tip on his tongue inside his left cheek to hold back the smirk that was about to form."Do your worst. I'm already dead anyway." He crossed his arms as he smirked a little.
Izuku had turned his head towards the alpha to say something else but his entire face had been grasped by one hand. Katsuki had placed his thumb under his chin to push back his head while the rest of his fingers put a little pressure at the side of his neck.
In surprise he had closed his eyes for a few seconds then blinked a few times before looking straight into Katsuki's red eyes, never getting used to staring the moment those crimson eyes shift to a dark abyss, never being the first to break eye contact.
Katsuki growled in warning and was not capable of taking his gaze away from the ghost, his teeth ached from stopping himself from purring as they shared a heated gaze.
How much was it gonna take for the ghost to finally submit to me?
The alpha's gaze reminded Izuku of a blazing fire that waited to consume whatever striked his curiosity, which the freckled boy certainly did. He definitely looked like a predator, his eyes spoke from curiosity to such an intensity that made his throat tighten at the sight.
Kirishima laughed nervously as he slowly threw his hand out to cover Todoroki's virgin and innocent eyes, thinking about how stubbornly his alpha was when someone gets on his nerves. His friend had a big temper but stayed calm if he got what he wanted. The red haired man knew that very well from experience so he decided to go along with it and only to get him out of trouble if things got out of hand like right now.
"You." Aizawa's voice made the other men turn their attention back to him, his demeanor suddenly changed as he sat properly to look at the ghost with scrutinized eyes."You've got some nerve to wake me up at this hour." He's completely focused and anticipating the worst to come, he forces himself to be fully awake and waiting for something to take action but the ghost's face only displays confusion.
Is it just my imagination?
"Name's Aizawa Shota." The mummy straightened and showed his true height. "Who are you?"
"Midoriya Izuku." Izuku said without hesitation as he freed himself from Katuki's hand, fighting the urge to hunch his shoulders from getting too much attention, it was difficult not to because of the gaze of the man wrapped in bandages, vampire and two werewolves stares directed at him . "I came here yesterday…to the uh…Other side?"
Aizawa opened his lips as if to say something else before a bunch of people began to call out for help. Dozens of yells that seemed to be heard from outside of the building made the group of creatures to run out of the library in a hurry.
Izuku follows close behind the group and gasps at the sight of the town's plaza filled with horrifying creatures. "What are those?" He breathes out and fights the urge to gag because of the nauseating smell of blood that gushes into the air. The normally blue and gloomy sky since he arrived yesterday was painted with an ominous purple and filled with gaunt-looking creatures, with wings, five or eight inch claws on hands and feet that could slash away your life into oblivion.
"Demons!" Todoroki bared his fangs, his eyes glowing darkly before quickly flexing his legs and jumped against a demon to take him down.
"Everybody! Get shelter!" Aizawa's voice rumbled all over the place and grabbed the back of Izuku's shirt before he could go anywhere else to place him back into the library. "And that includes YOU also. This conversation it's far from over." The mummy gave him a stern gaze before jumping into the chaos.
Izuku would've stayed adamant into following the mummy's orders and stayed put like a good ghost if not because from afar, he could see a little figure crunching down while taking shelter in the middle of the scene filled with yelling and desperation. It was a woman with brown hair and an unmistakably pink hat which made the ghost's eyes widening in realization.
Uraraka-san!
Without giving it a second thought, Izuku quickly leaped forward to reach his friend in need. The witch was under a pile of carts piled up, the ghost slid sideways all over the floor and rolled on the ground to prevent the demons from grabbing him by the shoulders and lifting him off the ground to take him to god knows where.
Probably to eat him, no doubt.
"Shit!" Izuku slipped with the blood that was all over the floor at the last second and got smashed against his friend when he went inside the pile of carts, ending up with his hands slapped on each side of Ochako's body accidentally. "Uraraka-san! Are you alright?!" The ghost puts some distance between them then shakes the witch by her shoulders in worry.
"Barely, I'm out of explosive potions." Ochako gave him a nervous smile, to which he sighs in relief with a smile.
"Thank god you're okay." Izuku's smile fades as he thinks of what to do, he whipped his head around to find something he could use as a weapon, maybe something he could use as a distraction for the witch to escape, his eyes darted around a few times until he finds a crossbow laying on the ground just a few steps away from them.
Ochako followed the ghost's field of vision and understood exactly what he wanted to do, obviously a bad idea. "No, Izuku."
"Yes, Izuku." The ghost said as he rolled his shoulders and crunched his knees to take a leap into the chaos once again.
"Izuku!" The witch half yelled to her friend as she watched Izuku rolling into the ground and easily avoiding demons on his way. "Izuku! That was dangerous!" She yelled worriedly and almost fainted at the way he picked up the weapon with such naturality and went back under the pile of carts with her. "Do you even know how to use that?!"
"It can't be harder than handling a gun." Izuku hummed as he searched for the trigger like he used to see in medieval movies.
"What's a gun?" Ochako asked and got ignored.
"Now, how do I use this?" Izuku muttered to himself as he maneuvered the crossbow and pointed at some random demon up in the air. "Oh! Did it!" He chirped after he pulled the trigger and to the witch's surprise it hit the target.
"What the hell was that?!" Ochako said in complete awe as she saw the man in front of her, he was like in some kind of spell.
No, saying that was a lie, it was like he was a completely different person. It was scary how the ghost who had just arrived yesterday, with those eyes full of innocence and confusion as if he had never killed an insect. Grasping that weapon hitting the target, with an amazing and calculating control behind those green irises to kill the demons.
"Did I ever tell you what my job was when I was alive?" Izuku smirked a little as he relaxed his shoulders, it felt good to carry a weapon once again. From the corner of his eyes he could see how Katsuki pierced a devil's eye sockets with his claws then slashed them out and lots of blood dripped from the grotesque scene, its body shook a few times until it died and the werewolf finally jumped back.
"You were a what?! Van Helsing?!" Ochako let out a horrifying sound that came from the bottom of her throat as she witnessed in front of her. Her fear feels worse as the minutes go by, seeing a demon was not rare but having demons attacking, tearing creatures apart like it was some playtoy was another.
"...No." Izuku winced a little as he watched the alpha getting fun at pulling demons apart with a monstrous strength. "I was a detective." He chuckled a bit despite seeing such a grotesque scene.
"What do we do now?" Ochako said in tears the moment a demon landed over the piled carts that sheltered the pair, everytime the devil swung a tail or an arm as an attempt to get them out made a cracking sound as an indication that the wood wouldn't last for long. "Izuku! Are we gonna die? No! I've never been kissed! I'll die single!" She put her arms around his middle and buried her head against his chest, she just held him for dear life.
Iida was having a hard time as he protected Chiyo-san who was healing injured monsters while his mind was weavering into forgetting it all then mend into the caos to find his missing friend, he could hear her scream in terror.
Izuku licked his lower lip nervously as he glanced from the witch's shoulder to find Katsuki who was walking towards them with a deadly expression. "I'll cover you." He bit his lips to the point of almost drawing blood as he watched how the werewolf planted hard on his heels, his eyes glowed a dangerous red. "Run as fast as you can towards the library." He added as he watched the library man looking out for her and shouted her name out loud.
Katsuki made eye contact with Izuku for a brief second before turning his eyes to the devil, and with a sinister smile he leaped himself against the demon that was trying to get the pair of friends off the carts.
"What about you?" Ochako looked at him watching the crossbow with uncertainty, it seems that he's almost running out of arrows.
Before the ghost could even respond to her, a calm voice made him turn his face to the side to find out the handsome vampire from earlier crouching down and with the flick of a hand got rid of the crumbling piles above them.
"What are you doing here, Midoriya?" Todoroki stood at his full height and looked down at the pair with sheer interest then threw a hand out to reach the ghost but retrieved it before he could even touch him. "Odd." He muttered to himself as his arm fell to his side once again.
The vampire had almost jumped at the animalistic growl that the alpha let loose at him, almost. Although it made Ochako jump several inches from the ground, she knew about werewolves and if she was correct, she had to be careful not to clutch to the ghost this time and allow the werewolf the sight of where her hands were at all times.
That ghost was someone who had nothing to do with Katsuki yet he kept having strange feelings swirling within him whenever he was near him, be it at the library or the time when they first met. There was not a single thing that Bakugou Katsuki liked about Deku, he was nagging and too brave for his own good. He had to admit that watching the little bastard handle himself against the demons with a crossbow was definitely a turn on.
Izuku did his best to ignore Katsuki's gaze over his frame then answered hesitantly. "Uh…helping a friend in need? Believe me, I was about to follow Aizawa's orders but I saw her alone and with no means of escaping this hell." He rambled and scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "I had to help her."
Ochako didn't dare to utter a single word and only nodded multiple times as an answer, having the son of the vampire lord was really hard to process, sure she's seen him a couple of times but just from meters away. He doesn't really have this approachable aura around him like Izuku does and because of that, she strongly believes that's the reason why the ghost is able to talk to the vampire with ease.
Todoroki looked satisfied with the answer, then looked towards Katsuki who was lurking over the demon's dead body and furrowed his eyebrows in thought.
Izuku gave a blinding smile at the vampire then stood up on his own. "Uraraka-san, here." He gave the witch a comforting smile as he helped her back on her feet.
Izuku found it very strange how the atmosphere had changed now that Todoroki was with them, he noted from looking around that the demons were clearly avoiding the powerful monsters. The demons knew better than to meet their monstrous strength, he was not ignorant, he saw how easily Todoroki and Katsuki slaughtered demons in seconds. Demons dropped one by one, he saw how the pair of monsters ripped their hearts out if he could call it a heart, sinked their prominent teeth deep into their gross flesh and many more things.
"It's been decades since the last time they made a ruckus." Todoroki said calmly at the distance.
"Decades?" Izuku said confused and in his head doing the math. "Just how old are you?"
Todoroki counted several years in his head before giving an answer."About 117 years old." He shrugged his shoulders like it was not such a big deal."You?"
"...25." Izuku stuttered a little before answering.
"What're you doing here?" Katsuki's voice called out as he lacerated a demon's throat, making his way to stand by Izuku while Todoroki's eyes narrowed a bit when Izuku did not seem to react to his demand and for a person who just got into the other side, to watch such a scene would quiver at least.
Could it be the reason why Bakugou was so smitten with him?
Or something else?
"What?" Izuku crossed his arms and because of Katsuki stepping closer to him and height difference he was forced to look up at him.
Todoroki and Ochako remained silent. Katsuki had never been more grateful for the pair of monsters to allow him to take the lead. He feels anger flaring up, his face twisted into a scowl and the wolf stirs inside then his eyes flashed a dangerous red.
Ochako stiffened noticeably and swallowed hard at that, then her hand went to grab Todoroki's cloak instinctively.
"What did Aizawa tell you?! Eeeh!" Katsuki's voice adopted a low tone and his eyes narrowed into slits."Oh! That's right." He raised an eyebrow as he gritted his teeth. "To get shelter, shitty Deku!"
"It's Izuku! Not Deku!" Izuku yelled at the alpha and in a blur, he pointed backwards with the crossbow still in his hand and aiming perfectly at a demon's head without having to look at it to know exactly where to aim. Such behavior makes everyone jump in their place, including Katsuki.
"I get to call you whatever the fuck I want!" Katsuki threw a hand out to grab Izuku's cloak and leaned into him, obviously entering Izuku's personal great pleasure in seeing the ghost's Adam's apple move and taking note for later.
"Need any help, Midoriya?" Todoroki cleared his throat which made Katsuki to step back from Izuku and gave a slight nod towards the witch. "A way to get to safety, perhaps?"
"Help Uraraka-san first." Izuku looked dead serious and his eyes wouldn't take no for an answer. "Iida-kun is worried sick about her."
"Then, please excuse me." Todoroki said to Ochako before taking his arm under her knees while his other hand wrapped around her back. The witch didn't have time to utter a single 'Eeep!' before she was suspended in the air by the vampire and in milliseconds she was in Iida's protective and very warm arms.
Ochako's face turned bright red before jumping out of her librarian friend's arms and fought the urge to whine at the loss of warmth then murmured countless apologies.
Iida looked stupidly at his empty arms, one moment he was helping injured monsters then the other, Todoroki's face came into view and placing Ochako's frame into his arms. The pair had only a few seconds of daze and before he could even lecture her of not being careful she was out of his reach then ran at an amazing speed that could rival a vampire to reach Chiyo.
"Kurogiri." A blue haired guy with creepy looking hands all over his upper body snapped his fingers at a mysterious mist beside him as he watched the scene before him. They were told to create some ruckus until they could find Yagi Toshinori's scythe at his castle, most of the creatures had gathered here but no demon had said anything or found anything yet. "Bring me the stranger." The guy with green hair shooting arrows at the devils had a familiar aura that resembled him, he had no proof but also no doubts.
"My pleasure."
"Oi." Katsuki was genuinely concerned although he was perfectly able to mask it with hostility in his voice. "How many you have left?" He nodded towards the weapon in the ghost's hands then up to look at him straight in the eyes.
"One." Izuku groaned as he saw the last arrow then stiffened as if anticipating something, something really bad about to happen. "Huh?!" He must've sensed it because a black mist suddenly surrounded his whole body.
"What the…?!" Katsuki looked surprised and saw how Izuku disappeared into thin air, his scent banished for a second before it reappeared right above him. "Great."
Before he knew it, Izuku's feet were not touching the ground and his eyes were looking at the sky. Something had managed to teleport him into a demon's grasp, he was being grabbed by his ankles and upside down. Luckily he still had the crossbow but sadly with only one shot to save his life.
Just my luck.
The alpha was reluctant into helping the ghost that just got kidnapped by a demon, probably to get eaten or something.
He can probably handle himself.
Yes.
Those were his thoughts until his body betrayed him, every muscle and every fiber of his body appeared to strain to force out his next movement. He cracked his neck from side to side a few times and groaned in frustration, the power in his thighs allowing to take a leap in the sky and to land over the demon's back.
The demon grabbing Izuku's ankles struggled to fly correctly in the sky because of the extra weight on his shoulders making the ghost look up to find the alpha looking down at him with exasperated eyes.
"M-Mister werewolf?" Izuku furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at the werewolf above them and lost his grip on his ankles in surprise, causing him to be upside down again which made the raincoat that covered him from the cold rolled down to cover his head along with his shirt once more. "Eeep!" He squeaked at the feeling of the cold air against his exposed stomach.
Huh.
"Not bad." Katsuki chuckled huskily as he roamed his red eyes over Izuku's exposed skin.
Who would've thought that this little ghost would have those muscles under that pile of clothes.
"What did you say?" Izuku groused as he managed to pull his cloak from his face a little to find out that the alpha looked like he was enjoying the entire situation which made the ghost cross his arms to cover his stomach. "What are you doing?" He said in disbelief as he struggled in the demon's grip on his legs.
"HELPING YOU? OBVIOUSLY!" Katsuki yelled at him as he evaded the demon's attempt to wiggle him off with his wings. "What? No thanks from you?"Katsuki's eyes gleaming vividly with madness while piercing the demon's flesh with his claws as if to vent his anger, making the demon scream in pain at that.
"THANK YOU!" Izuku yelled at the alpha as he struggled with the demon, he managed to point to the devil's head and shoot his last arrow with such precision that it killed him instantly.
Because of the lifeless body falling down and nothing constricting the ghost's body, Katsuki smashed against Izuku, they flew up in the air and rolled. The freckled man closed his eyes expecting a very bad landing, but met with a rather not so hurtful landing along with a growl of discomfort.
Not dead?
The ghost opened his eyes to find out that his landing was the very handsome werewolf with pretty red eyes. Realizing the situation and only then, Izuku got on his knees to look down at Katsuki along with his palms flat against the blonde's toned stomach with no shirt on. He definitely hadn't noticed the lack of clothing until now, he was pretty sure that the werewolf had a shirt on at the library. "Okay, we gotta stop meeting like this." He said awkwardly as he sat with his full weight over the werewolf's lower stomach and clearly ignoring how the alpha grunted in surprise. "This is how rumors begin, you know?"
A pair of werewolves were biting a giant demon on each side of his prominent neck, they pierced its disgusting flesh until it died then pulled out and finally jumped back.
Kirishima spit the remaining blood from his mouth and whipped his mouth roughly then nudged his friend with his elbow. "Do you think…?" He brings up what he sees from ahead of them as he pressed his back against his fellow werewolf with yellow hair, Kaminari Denki.
"Uhm." Kaminari whistled at the sight, the new ghost had their alpha pinned to the ground and strangely enough, the lack of punishment coming from their alpha. "Yeah, give it a month or so, three months tops."
"Nah, our alpha hasn't got himself a mate. I'll say more." Kirishima licked his canines and gave him a wolfish grin. "Wanna bet on it?"
Their alpha was quite clumsy when it comes to wooing someone.
Hell. It was the first time he's shown interest in someone other than his pack.
Kaminari hesitated for a moment while scratching his right ear before answering. "How much are we talking about?" He grabbed a wooden plank at his feet to swing it against an ugly looking demon head and shattered it into pieces. "I'm a little broke at the moment." The guy with yellow hair dusted his hands of any splinters.
"I'll give ya the vinyl record I found the other day for your friend who's especially fond of music." Kirishima said with a sly smile.
"You…!" Kaminari's face burst into flames as he looked around, monsters were pretty occupied slashing and killing demons all over the place. "...Deal." He groaned as he gave him the thumbs up before taking a leap against a demon.
"Don't worry! I won't tell Jirou!"
"Bro! Not cool!"
"How does it feel to have me on top this time, huh?" Izuku's lip curled playfully as he watched how the werewolf's red eyes widened a fraction before settling into his normal intimidating stare. "N-No!" Izuku waved his hands frantically as he realized his very suggestive way of talking so he cleared his tone, holding his breath as he waited for the worst to come. "I didn't mean it that way…!" The green haired man's cheeks were completely red while he was gaping his mouth and his thighs tightened around Katsuki's hips, he traced each line of the other man's muscles with his eyes.
"Don't get fucking used to it, ghosty boy." Katsuki didn't miss the way he was being checked out and smirked, baring one canine before his smile turned into a full manic grin. He grabbed the back of Izuku's thighs and pushed him backwards, avoiding another demon from crashing against them in the process. "I'm always on top." He added and leaned his full weight over the ghost and forced him more into the ground as he straddled his hips. He threw a hand out to reach the other man's neck and put a little pressure with his fingers over the sides of his neck but not close enough to choke him and as if to point out what he just said. "Understood?" He purred with insanely dark and black heated eyes.
Izuku just gasped as the hand holding his neck shifted into grabbing his chin to hold his gaze towards the alpha above him. "I…"
"Be a good little Casper and don't die." Katsuki's voice dropped a few octaves as he got on his feet then rushed to reach his beta and another member of his pack.
"What part of taking shelter did you not understand?" Aizawa gave the ghost an exasperated look as he approached the ghost laying on the floor then his gaze shifted to Uraraka in relief who was being hugged by Iida behind a wall then back at Izuku. "Well…" The mummy gave him a rare smile then as he remembered how the new guy managed to kill a great amount of demons with just a crossbow. "Looks like you can't judge a book by its cover." He nodded at him in recognition.
Izuku slowly got on his feet and was about to open his mouth when a strange voice snapped his attention from the mummy.
It's time.
"What did you say?" Izuku said quietly as if in a trance and blinked slowly.
Take it.
Aizawa looked at him strangely at his odd behavior and lowered his bandages that were lurking in the air. "What are you talking about?"
Use it.
"That voice. Don't you hear it?" Izuku threw his pointing finger towards the sound to find out that it led towards the fountain at the town's square making the mummy's eyes widened as he saw what the ghost was pointing at.
"Boy, that's just a statue."
A bright light blinded Izuku's vision for a second as if to get his attention, it was the same strange feeling in his gut when he first came here, his eyes followed the light and his eyes met the same fountain with the statue of a man wielding a scythe. It seemed that he wasn't the owner of his body because the very moment his eyes locked with the lifeless ones of the sculpture his feet moved closer to the fountain.
"Oi! What are you doing?" Aizawa's worried voice was heard in the distance but Izuku paid no mind. "That's dangerous!"
The more Izuku gets near the fountain the more he gets near a blue haired guy with hands all over his body, the boy gives a creepy grin as he approaches the freckled man.
Take it.
"Take what?" Izuku didn't mind getting his shoes soaked wet as he entered the fountain then stood at the base of the sculpture but before he was able to lift up his hands to touch the figure of the skinny man he got surrounded by some black mist and got crushed against the grim reaper's chest while having scythe at arm's length. The weapon that was supposed to be a decoration, a mere representation of the real weapon, felt hot against the back of his arm and made the tip of his fingers tingle.
Use it.
"Some familiar energy you got there ghosty boy." Tomura put a finger under his chin in thought as he glanced at the ghost.
"Huh?" Izuku looked down at the demon, because of the prominent stature of the grim reaper, the ghost had to whip his head down to look at the mastermind of the ruckus happening at the square. "Who?"
"Did Yagi tell you to hide it?" Tomura scratched his neck in frustration.
"Hide what?" Izuku said, clearly confused.
It's time.
The man with pale blue hair suddenly bursted into laughter again and started cackling like a mad man and stopped as if he had never laughed before. Witnessing his erratic behavior was frightening, a small smile bloomed on his lips, though the mischievous glint in his eyes was still terrifying.
"Come on, tell me where it is and maybe I'll spare your life." Tomura shook his hand to the side offhandedly and pulled a strange mist around Izuku's neck. "Probably." He added as the noose around the other man's neck tightened.
"What are you talking about?!" Izuku yelled as he kicked out his legs violently to try to get the dark noose on his neck to loosen. "I just got here yesterday!" His outburst stunned the demon to silence at the fiery look in his green eyes.
A black mist rushed to stand next to the blue haired boy."Tomura Shigaraki, they found nothing." Kurogiri finished making Tomura start to murmur to himself as he grabs his head in desperation.
The two demons shared an alarmed look the moment they heard a growling sound near them, they had no time to think before a pair of werewolves and a mummy had them kissing the floor with their faces.
The mist restraining Izuku released him and the ghost slid against the statue until his bottom landed inside the fountain and got soaked from head to toe. He rubbed his throat to soothe the pain and regained some needed air then heard the same voice again.
Take it.
"Aizawa Shota." Shigaraki gave the mummy a look full of hatred as his hands were held by the mummy's old bandages, the bastards knew they could turn into crisps if he could touch them.
"You fucking move." Katsuki began to chant while having his hand looming over the solid part of the mist man, right over his heart should be then putting some pressure before ripping the flesh. "And I'll kill you." He finishes with an ugly smile, meaning that he had no hesitation in taking the heart between his fingers to squeeze it into his fist.
Kirishima felt Katsuki's rage as he pinned the mist guy against the floor, he was not dumb enough to tell him to be careful when he could sense the alpha's anger so palpable that everyone at the square could feel it.
There's no time!
Hurry!
"What do you need?" Izuku whispered under his breath as he turned his head towards the grim reaper made of stone hoping for it to come to life or something. Izuku's eyes darted in different directions then his eyes encountered a light coming out of the scythe's blade, that specific shine that comes out when a sharp metal is reflected with light. The fingers holding the weapon suddenly started to move in an awkward way because of being asleep for too long as if for him to grab it, the ghost guessed.
It's time to wake up.
That was when the ghost wasted no time and reached out for the scythe's handle then with all his might, he swung it against the floor with supernatural strength he didn't know he had. The impact made such a shockwave that only affected the demons, sended a comforting warmth towards the rest of the monsters while the grotesque remaining demons disappeared out of sight. Only the demons of high caliber such as Tomura and Kurogiri remained intact, some of their energy got drained out but they could still fight.
The pair of demons prepared themselves for what was about to come until they began to hear something crack, making the rest of the monsters stop whatever they were doing to look at the fountain until they heard a booming voice that everyone thought was long lost.
"HAVE NO FEAR! FOR I AM HERE!"
SNEEK PEAK FOR NEXT CHAPTER:
"How about we go easy today?" Izuku gave Yagi a small smile as he stretched, having very limited experience with fighting grim reapers, more like none. "Perhaps a bit of theory. Not to brag, but I'm a pro at that." He pointed at himself with his thumb proudly.
"Of course young Midoriya." Yagi Toshinori rolled up his shoulders then made the scythe spin between his bony fingers. "Let's start with the basics today."
.
.
.
"How could that-!" Izuku groaned after he flew backwards ad got slammed against the dirt. "Pile of bones be this strong!" He argued as he pushed himself from the ground.
