Danny and Lita vs Lum Part 3
The Fentons and Makoto/Lita gaze from the window of the former's apartment at the giant ship that's appeared in the sky. It had been floating in the sky for several minutes not doing anything but everyone was watching it anxiously. Danny groans loudly, he is far from happy.
"Oh great! What's happening now!?" He asks. "Did Lum decide to replant the mushrooms? Is she bringing in more freaky aliens to pressure that idiot more?"
"Maybe Lum decided to stop the game and clear all the mushrooms instead?" Lita says hopefully.
The top of the Oni mothership blasts something into the sky leaving behind a trail of smoke.
"Or not." Says Lita.
"Could it be a bomb?" Jack asks.
Maddie tries getting a closer look at it with the magnifiers inside her goggles. But it's so far away that instead she just gets an oddly shaped outline.
"I can't tell it's too far away. But it seems to just be flying in the air. It doesn't look like it's going to strike someplace."
"Maybe it's just like a camera?" Lita suggests. "Like a referee to make sure no one breaks the rules."
"No, they didn't have any issues before." Danny says, remembering when he tried overshadowing Lum but was forced out of her body (very painfully) by an ectoranium energy blast.
Jazz's phone rings. She picks it up and looks at the caller ID.
"It's Benten."
"Ben-Ten?" Danny asks. "Wait, isn't that one of Lum's alien friends?"
"Yes, so she might know what's going on." Jazz answers the phone. "Hey Benten, what's going on?" She asks and Benten answers on the other end. "What? Ok we'll be right there." Jazz hangs up then addresses her family and Lita. "She said that she has something important to share with us. She's going to text the address of where to meet."
"I'm going to invite my friends." Lita says taking out her phone to text.
"Lita, I don't think that's necessary." Maddie says.
"No, it's necessary." Says Danny.
"VERY necessary." Agree's Jazz.
…
A while later, the Fentons and Lita arrived at the marked destination. Waiting with Benten, Ran and Oyuki is Sakura, her uncle Cherry, Sinobu and Inaba. The Fentons pull up to them right when the car being driven by Mamoru pulls up. The Fentons get out of the car right when Minako, Ami, Usagi, Rei and Mamoru do.
"What is this?" Benten asks. "Jazz I said you could invite your family to this not these people. I don't even know them." Benten says gesturing to the guardians in civilian form. Benten groans. Danny's ghost sense goes off.
"I really wish I could have invited that ghost kid and those chicks in miniskirts here for this instead."
"The sailor guardian's sure, but not a ghost." Jack says indignantly.
Kotatsu-Neko reveals himself from behind the stack of logs and glares at Jack crossing his arms.
"Except you, you're good." Jack says immediately and fearfully.
"Benten, this is Lita, a girl I'm seeing." Danny says pointing to Lita. "These are her friends: Usagi, Mamoru, Ami, Minako and Rei."
Ran gasps.
"My Rei, where is he?" Ran says looking around.
"No he means me." Rei Hino says.
"Wait, your name is Rei?" Ran asks. "My boyfriend's name is Rei."
"Weird, can we continue?" Rei asks.
"They are good, trust me. It will reach the guardians." Sakura says before sending a wink to Danny and then the guardians.
Rei Hino winks back while the others (besides Danny) are confused.
"Ok fine. Ran, tell the others what you told us."
…
One explanation later…
"What!?" Every human (or half human) shouts at once.
"An amnesia device? Are you serious?" Danny asks, infuriated.
"Very serious. Lum said that if darling can't say he loves her then she will remove her temptation to go back." Ran says. "She'll make him forget her. But it will also erase the memory of ALL non-earth life from human minds."
Benten continues.
"If Moroboshi won't say 'I love you' then memories of all of us, not just Lum, will be…" Benten says, Oyuki looks down.
"Buried deep within the darkness, eh?"
Danny, Lita and her friends gather around each other and mutter amongst themselves.
"Could that be it?" Rei asks. "That the darkness is metaphorical for memory loss?"
"I don't think so." Said Danny. "When I saw the future myself it really was dark."
"If the device is gonna erase memories of all aliens…and we're reincarnations of aliens, what will it do to us?" Usagi asks, worried.
"We might forget we're the sailor guardians." Ami says. "Forget about the silver millennium."
"Once we're gone the Black Moon clan could make a move, or some other freaky bad guy." Says Minako. "They could…cover the world in darkness, or something."
They break up and face Benten, Ran and Oyuki.
"You guys are Lums friends. You need to talk some sense into her." Rei says.
"Oh I already did." Says Benten. "Right after Ran told us we went straight up to Lum's dad's ship. Lum had gone up there to make some last minute upgrades to the device. I called her out for dragging the rest of us into this. I told her that I liked the earth and I told her that if she released the device then we wouldn't be friends anymore. And you know what, for a second, I think I got through to her."
Benten's serious expression then turns sheepish and embarrassed.
"But…during my argument I…accidentally…activated the device." Everyone stares at her. "It's not my fault! The button was huge and square and it had a cloth over it, I thought it was a table. It just stank into the flood when I put my hands on it."
"It's set on a timer. It will automatically go off at sunset on the final day." Oyuki explains. "Should Ataru grab Lum's horns or say he loves her before then it will deactivate."
"Or else." Danny finishes.
"Or else, yes." Says Ran.
"You said that Lum was making modifications." Usagi says. "What exactly are we talking about here?"
Ran holds out a rolled up sheet of blue-prints.
"I managed to nab this from Lum when we saw her on the ship. She had just finished putting on the finishing touches."
Run unrolled the blue prints so everyone gets an idea of what the amnesia device should look like. All the humans (and the ghost-cat plus the ghost-boy) blink in surprise at the design. The device is shaped like a red oni with one arm raised up in the air and the other holding a large metal bat in the other. It has forms and a silly looking smiley face drawn on it.
"That's the device?" Maddie questions.
"That face is so…goofy looking." Says Usagi.
"Hey, this is top notch on the planet Onoboshi." Benten states. "Anyways, the device possesses an AI. It will continuously monitor Darling and Lum until the final day. Activate and deactivate accordingly. Until then it has enough power to sustain itself and will move continuously throughout the city. It is immensely durable but if it feels threatened the arm thats raised is a massive flame-thrower and it is capable of using the bat in its other hand as a weapon."
Ran clears her throat.
"Now for Lum's modifications." Ran starts.
"Let me guess, she ghost-proofed it." Danny says.
"She included an ectoranium core for energy attacks and had "anti-phasing" cables run throughout its insides, yes." Ran confirms. "She also included the nemesis crystal from her ship."
"Nemesis crystal?" Lita asks.
"Yeah, a crystal from the planet Nemesis." Oyuki says.
All the humans look at her confused.
"Nemesis? The tenth planet in this solar system, after Pluto." Oyuki says.
"Tenth planet?" Mamoru mutters.
"I don't think humans are aware of a tenth planet yet." Danny states.
"Well, anyways. It has the ability to absorb energy and exert it as negative energy." Benten says. "That's what allowed Lum's ship to absorb and redirect attacks from her fight with the guardians on the first day."
Danny and the girls (plus Mamoru) turn to themselves.
"Interesting." Ami says.
"She's used it to power a forcefield surrounding the device for extra protection." Ran says. "Any energy attacks will just be absorbed, converted and blasted back.
"She's also included multiple other weapons systems for potential enemies, ghost or otherwise." Benten adds. "Oh, and she also removed the off-switch which was on the belly."
'Off switch? At the belly, what idiot thought that was a good design idea?' Danny thinks/asks himself.
"Now hold on kids." Maddie says. "Maybe we should just try convincing Ataru to say he loves Lum again."
"You don't know him like we do." Sinobu says. "Trust me, if he knew it would just make him more stubborn. And he's already getting worse."
"He's quite obstinate." Sakura agrees.
"It may be wisest for us not to tell him then." Oyuki adds in agreement.
"IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT!"
"M... Moroboshi!"
Everyone looks around for Ataru. Sinobu lifts a 55-gallon drum and throws it in a random location hoping to hit him and bring him out.
"Woah, easy!" Danny states. "He can't run or talk if he has a concussion."
"Nah it's fine. I've been hit with worse." Ataru says, revealing himself.
"Ataru…"
"What can we say, now that he's heard it all?" Sakura asks.
"Say that you love her, if you don't wanna forget about Lum." Benten tells him.
"No way."
Danny marches up to him.
"Are you serious dude!? You've been stubborn this entire time but now you've gone too far!"
"Shut up! Tell that coward that I'm not backing down!" Ataru replies.
Lum floats down behind him, charged with electricity and mad.
"Who're you calling a coward?"
Ataru turns around and sees Lum sitting/floating cross-legged glaring at him. Ataru glares back.
"Who was it that pushed me to this point?" Lum asks.
"You're the one using one cheap trick after another!" Ataru retorts.
Jack walks up to Ataru.
"Hey kid, you think those alien girls are hot too, right?" He asks, gesturing to Benten, Ran and Oyuki. "If the device goes off you don't just lose one girl in a bikini you lose them."
"I'm not giving in." Ataru says.
"Hey, we don't wanna lose our lives on earth either!" Benten snaps at him.
"You don't have to! You can come back, reintroduce yourselves, start over." Ataru tells her.
"Ok everyone stop!" Jazz says getting between them.
She turns to Lum.
"Lum, you know how stubborn he is, everything you're doing right now, including the device, is only making him more resistant."
Lum dwells on that.
"And Ataru, I'm just going to say this. I think that you should just say the words, not just for Lum or even the world, but also yourself."
"Me?"
"Yes you."
Lum sighs.
"Look, the device has already been activated." Lum says, glancing at Benten who looks sheepish. "I can't turn it off until the game is done."
"Sure you can." Lita states. "You can just let Ataru grab your horns and Ataru you can just say you love her."
"Oni do not throw challenges." Lum states.
"I refuse." Says Ataru.
Benten groans.
"Ugh, forget it! If Lum is Lum then Moroboshi is Moroboshi!"
"You really hate me then!?" Lum yells at Ataru, ignoring Benten.
"YOU IDIOT! IF I TELL YOU THAT NOW YOU WONT KNOW IF IT'S TRUE!"
Ataru covers his mouth trying to catch his words. He has no idea why he just said those things to her now. Everything that's happened that last few days with his utterly unsatisfying attempts at girl hunting (them hurting him with words not fists) seems to have broken him a bit. Lum stares at him wide eyed and blushes. Everyone else looks shocked at him too.
"There he practically said it right now! Game over, right?" Danny asks.
Lum activates her communicator earpiece.
"Daddy, is the device deactivated?"
"No, it's still flying."
"Ok, thank you." She turns back to the humans. "No, it has to be specifically those three words in order."
Benten goes up to Ataru.
"Look, she doesn't even care if you mean it or not. She just wants to hear you say it. You can just say the words now, state you're only saying it to save the earth, then you can tell her for real if you want later."
"That would make me an ass!" Ataru shouts.
"You're being an ass now!" Danny yells back.
"Whatever!" Ataru turns back to Lum. "You think a funny looking robot will make me forget you? Fat-chance!"
"Goodbye, Darling." Lum says before flying off.
Ataru runs after her. When he is gone Jazz sighs in disappointment while everyone else turns to each other.
"We could try to destroy the device." Maddie says.
"That would have been a difficult task even before Lum upgraded it." Ran says.
"Well maybe the Sailor Guardians and the ghost boy will have better luck." Sakura says, motioning the teenagers to go by rolling her head.
"Yes, uh, excuse is mom and dad, me and the girls need to hang out."
Danny slowly steps away with Lita and the other guardians.
"Absolutely not!" Maddie shouts. "You are not disappearing in such a time of crisis."
"Hey, is that a shinigami over there?" Sakura says pointing to the distance.
"A shinigami!?" Maddie questions, readying her weapon. "A death god? A spirit that leads humans to their deaths?"
"Really that's what it is?" Jack says before preparing his own weapon. "You stay here with the priestess kids, we'll handle this."
Jack and Maddie run off, trying to find a Japanese death spirit that doesn't exist. Sakura turns to the kids.
"Oh, FYI shinigami are real and if you see one you should try to banish it straight away. They cause mortals to die early to extend their own life." Sakura says. "And if you find a book with "Death Note" write "[name of shinigami, death by life-force drain."
"Uh…understood." Danny says.
"I'm going to share everything we just learned on social media." Jazz says pulling up her camera on her phone and points it at Ran. "Ran, could you please say what you just told us again?"
…
Ataru runs through the city. He had been chasing after Lum but he ended up losing her. He finally escapes all the people yelling at him to "catch up" or "say (he) loves her" when he takes a break in an alleyway. Ataru drinks his bottle of water and catches his breath.
"Excuse me, Ataru Moroboshi."
Ataru turns around and his eyes nearly jump out of his sockets. It's the Sailor Guardians, all looking at him dreamily.
"You're the guy that's trying to save the earth, right?" Sailor Moon asks.
"That's very noble of you." Says Sailor Venus, striking a pose.
"But you know what would really be noble?" Sailor Jupiter asks.
"Ok stop." Ataru interrupts before Sailor Mars can speak. "Let me guess, you were all going to offer to go on a date with me if I told Lum I love her?"
"Well, actually we were going to offer to kiss you." Says Sailor Mercury.
"No! Tempting, but no. I won't cave in!" Ataru shouts.
Danny makes himself and Tuxedo-Mask visible again.
"Oh thank goodness I really didn't want to have to see that." Tuxedo-Mask says as Sailor Moon gags thinking about it.
"Took the words right out of my mouth Masky." Danny says.
"We could threaten him." Tuxedo-Mask says pointing his cane at Ataru.
"For some reason I don't think that would work." Danny says. "Come on, let's go find Lum." Danny says before he flies away.
Sailor Moon groans.
"Come on, let's follow him." Sailor Moon says pressing her broach.
She lights up and starts hovering. All the other guardians do the same and Tuxedo-Mask taps his cane for the same effect.
"I can't believe that Luna and Artemis didn't tell us we could fly before." Venus says before she and the others fly after Danny.
…
After Jazz posted Rans (re)explanation of the amnesia device it was soon picked up by the local news and broadcasted throughout Tomobiki.
Everyone who thought that the mushrooms overriding the earth became even more terrified upon the prospect of losing their memories. And the few that knew the world wasn't doomed anyways we're worried of losing some of the friends they made.
"Miss Lum, you are being too hasty." Shutaro Mendo says as he watches the news broadcast with his family, up to his neck in fines and financial statements.
"NOOO! Miss Lum NOOO!" Megane shouts from his room. Too afraid to leave it out of fear of being lynched again for knocking out Ataru before he could confess on the first day. The other Stormtroopers are similarly devastated.
Ryuunosuke, who was wiping the blood off her face after having a "disagreement" with her father over her getting her nails gone with Jazz, is crushed by the prospect of forgetting Benten. Her best friend. And she's infuriated over the thought that she would lose her but be stuck with her father. He starts texting Sinobu to turn in the copies that she sent her to the police.
Elsewhere in Japan, citizens react with varying degrees.
Those like Ranma and Co are less concerned because they don't interact with aliens anyways.
Those like Risa and Otani are peeved over possibly forgetting about the most exciting thing to appear on the news in their entire lives.
Squid-Girl and the rest of the Lemon Beach House occupants are feeling mixtures of both.
But those in Mizuno are very upset.

Mizuno
"But if everything not-earth gets forgotten, then what about me?" Miharu asks, worried.
"Hey, it's going to be alright." Yukinari says, patting her shoulders. "We'll just go to Seiren on the last day."
"Yeah, our memories will be safe from the device, then we can just come back the day later." Kirie says.
"But…what about the rest of the town?" Miharu asks, concerned. "And Yukinari, your parents are away on business right now. I don't want to have to reintroduce myself to them again."
Yukinari flinches before looking down at his wife's swollen pregnant belly.
"Yeah, that will be pretty awkward to tell my mom a second time."
"Don't worry." Says Asuka. "Big brother Mendo's family has an army and so does ours." She says that last part while looking at her brother Tobimaro.
"Asuka, for the last time you don't call him your brother." Tomaka says irritated.
"You have an army Ton-Chan?" Kosome asks.
"Oh yes, I mean, our parents probably won't care but I know Shū-chan will do whatever he can." Tobimaro says.
"I could summon Mada to destroy it." Lisa says. "But I'll have to warn Phantom-San."
Asuka eaps.
"No, not her!" Asuka says, thinking about how scary and loud Mada was when she introduced them the other day.
Kazuharu then reaches out with his hands and hugs her.
"Don't worry Asuka-San. I shall protect you."
"MAN!" Asuka screams before throwing him off of her with her unnatural strength.
Asuka screams and runs away, destroying the wall in-front of her in the process while Kirie shakes her head in dismay at Kazuharu who lies injured (as injured as a ANME-gene carrier can get) inside the wall he was thrown into.
"Well, there she goes again." Tomaka sighs.
"Wait, Asuka it's ok." Koyomi calls out.
"You know, you could stop this by telling her that Kazuharu is your OLDER brother." Tobimaro says to Lisa.
"Hmm…Nah."
…
Tomobiki
Lum flies though the skies over Tomobiki. She thinks about her darling, she thinks about how sad she is that he just can't say he loves her. But most of all she thinks of the explanation he gave her for why. She is so lost in thoughts that she doesn't notice the light tugging on her hair.
Then she feels different. She realizes she isn't flying anymore, she's falling. Lum screams as she descends closer to the ground. Lum tries to fly but she finds that she can't. But then suddenly she feels something grab her from under her armpits. She sees a pair of white hands suddenly become visible and then she looks over her shoulder she sees Danny Phantom frowning at her.
"Oh, it's you. Ghost-San." Lum says.
"It's Danny Phantom." Danny says.
Lum touches her horns and she feels ribbons tied around them. Her eyes widened in shock. She tries using her electricity, but nothing happens.
"Yeah, that's the same enchanted ribbon that can take away your powers right? The kind you can't take off yourself?" Danny asks. "Sakura told us about it."
The Sailor Guardians then fly up to come face to face with her. All of them give Lum fierce glares. She tries reaching for her bra and calling for her ship for help but Danny makes her intangible and all of her advanced technology literally falls out of her, including the communicator for her ship. Now Lum is scared, she has no powers, no advanced technology to help her, and she is helpless suspended in the air by seven angry super-powered individuals.
"I made the ribbon." Sailor Mars says. "Not bad craftsmanship if you ask me."
"Lum, let Ataru grab your horns." Danny tells her.
"No!" Lum says indignantly.
Danny lets her go and Lum screams as she falls. Sailor Jupiter flies down and quickly catches her, but the experience still leaves Lum shaken. She pulls Lum up and now comes face to face with Danny.
"Lum, you have no right to make the whole world forget about aliens." He says.
…
Sub-Space
"What a hypocrite." The lead rabbit says watching Danny. "He erased the world's memories of him being a half-ghost and he has the gaul to condemn Lum?"
"He phased all of Lum's weapons out of her and put the ribbon on her. She's a sitting duck." Says another rabbit.
"Yes I see that. But don't worry, there are precautions for that. Just make sure that Lum doesn't listen to whatever they say."
…
Tomobiki
Sailor Mars holds a garlic clove to Lum's face. The oni girl tenses and tries turning her head away from it but the Sailor Guardian priest keeps pressing it against her.
"Just call this whole thing off!" Sailor Mars shouts.
"NO! I WON'T!" Lum shouts, even though she's starting to cry from the garlic.
"Lum listen, were the reincarnations of alien princesses. If your device goes off we could forget we're superheroes, or worse." Sailor Moon says.
"Oh please, that's the best lie you can come up with?" Lum shouts, but flinches again from the garlic.
"It's not a lie, haven't you heard of the Silver Millennium?" Sailor Venus asks.
"Eh…vaguely. Galactic History was never my favorite subject." Lum says.
Sailor Moon groans.
"For me it's math." She says.
"I hate English, but it's really the teacher that's…" Danny stoops himself. "Oh, what am I talking about? Lum for once in your life stop being selfish!"
"I can't just forfeit half-way into the game even if I wanted to." Lum says. "That's against the rules. And so is outside interference."
A large shadow looms over them. Danny and the guardians turn around and they see what's casting it. It's the amnesia device, just as it was described in the blueprints. It is about as large as a building, with the same goofy face. Its eyes look right at them, it analyzes what they are, empowered humans for the guardians and a ghost-human hybrid for Danny and it determines which of its newly added weapons systems are best to deal with each one. Then it speaks.
"OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE PROHIBITED!"
Its eyes glow and its various robotic arms with different guns emerge from the device's body. Its eyes shoot a torrent of green blasts at Danny, which he manages to block (even though it still causes cracks in his shield). The device raises its bat-wielding arm and swings it at the guardians. They try to attack it with their powers but they are stopped by an invisible forcefield. The forcefield blocks the ice and rose attacks while absorbing the energy from their lighting, fire and energy attacks. They go through the Nemesis crystal before channeling the converted energy into the device's bat. It glows with a dark energy before it smacks the guardians away, throwing them off with the force of the hit and the energy released from the impact.
Lum falls and screams but she is caught by a flying pig. It brings her up to meet with Rupa, who is suspended in their air with a chariot. He reaches over and unties the ribbons from around her horns.
"What hooligans." Rupa says.
Meanwhile Danny and the guardians are still fighting the machine. They hit it with everything they got, but nothing they do even touches it. Danny fires his ectoplasmic blasts and even uses his sonic wail on it, but the forcefield just absorbed the eco-energies, channels it through the dark crystal (which causes the evil inside it to grow) and releases the dark energy as a shockwave that sends him back.
Sailor Mars then tries using the fire soul bird and then the burning mandala The device just dodges the attacks at fast speed, but then it zooms to the side of Sailor Mars and smacks her with its bat before she can react. Sailor Mars grunts in pain as the massive bat hits her side and sends her flying. Danny flies up to grab her, catches her by the wrist and swings them both around.
"Ran said that thing shoots fire, right? Can you redirect it?" Danny asks.
"Yeah, why?" Sailor Mars asks.
"Just be ready." Danny tells her. "Fling me at the device. Mercury, you help too alright?"
Sailor Mercury nods.
Sailor Mars flings Danny at the device as hard as she can. The ghost boy flies right at it, accompanied by Sailor Mercury. Danny fires his cold blasts at it while Sailor Mercury fires her own ice blasts. The device says put and simply blocks the attacks with his force field. When the two teenage heroes are close enough it lowers its raised hand and shoots out a massive torrent of fire. Mercury braces herself while Danny creates an ice- forcefield around them. It protects them but still sends them flying backwards.
Mars zooms past them and rushes into the flames, unharmed and bends the energy around her. With the device distracted, Mars absorbs the energy, and prepares to fire it back while shouting:
"Mars Arrow!"
She summons the arrow, now charged even more with the energy she absorbed from the device and fires at it. It hits the device, or rather the forcefield, before it can move out of the way. While the force does send the device back a bit, the forcefield is ultimately able to absorb the energy. Sailor mars is stunned.
'The Mars Arrow is my strongest attack! How…how was that possible?' She thinks.
One of the extra robotic arm-guns fires a ray at her that encases the Sailor Guardian from her ankles up to her neck in ice. The device then releases its converted negative energies absorbed from her attack into a single beam that fires right at her. Sailor Mars screams but thankfully she is pushed out of the way right in time by Tuxedo-Mask.
She gazes at him and blushes while Tuxedo-Mask is just glad that his friend is alright. He then looks towards his girlfriend Sailor Moon who is getting ready to attack herself.
Sailor Moon tries using her Moon-Tiara action on it, but the device just uses its bat to smack it away back at her, which she dodges fearfully. She then tries using her Moon-Body Attack, but the forcefield redirects the kinetic energy right back at her as soon as she hits it.
Sailor Jupiter prepares to use her Supreme Thunder Dragon on it while Sailor Venus pulls out her chain and prepares to use her Venus Love and Beauty Shock attack. But Sailor Mercury jumps in the way.
"Wait!" She shouts.
"What are you doing?" Venus shouts.
"We have to destroy that thing!" Shouts Jupiter.
"We can't! It's just redirecting our attacks back at us!" Mercury argues.
"Then what are we supposed to do?" Sailor Moon asks, flying next to them.
Alongside her is Tuxedo-Mask and a thawed Sailor Mars and Danny Phantom joins them.
"There's gotta be a limit to that thing, right?" Danny asks.
"I think I have an idea." Sailor Mercury says. "If we give it too much energy to absorb at once, and then fire another attack at it right when it's about to redirect it, the energy could instead be blasted back."
"That thing can absorb a lot." Danny says.
"Danny scream as loud as you can!" Mercury says. "Girls, we're going to perform the Sailor Planet Attack."
All the guardians nod in approval at this plan. Danny turns to Tuxedo-Mask.
"Are you necessary for this?" He asks him.
"No, it's just the girls."
"Good, catch me."
Danny flies ahead and faces the amnesia device alone. They stare each other down until the device's eyes start to glow green again. Danny takes a deep breath in and screams at the top of his lungs. He releases a ghostly-wail stronger than he had ever released before. He uses all his energy into the attack, screaming at the top of his lungs at the machine. The forcefield works just as it did before, and deep within its core the unholy creation of consciousness containing echo-energies and negative energies grows even stronger thanks to it. Danny runs out of breath and energy and he stops screaming. He reverts back to human form and nearly passes out. He falls and is caught by Tuxedo-Mask.
"I think I'm going to be out for a while." Danny says weakly.
The converted energies channel around the device and build up to be released back as a powerful blast as the Sailor Guardians watch from directly below it.
"It looks like it's gonna blow." Sailor Venus shouts.
"It's time, girls!" Sailor Moon shouts.
The Sailor Senshi grabs hands and prepares to perform the Sailor Planet Attack. They say one at a time:
"Moon Crystal Power!"
"Mars Star Power!"
"Mercury Star Power!"
"Jupiter Star Power!"
"Venus Star Power!"
The together: "Sailor Planet Power!"
All the girls are engulfed in a colored energy, green for Jupiter, yellow for Venus, pink for Sailor Moon, red for Mars and blue for Mercury. The energies combine and from the center of their circle a massive stream of white light blasts towards the amnesia device, right when it's about to exert its dark energies. Just as Sailor Mercury predicted, when their energies hit the dark-ecto energies, it forced the device's blast back causing internal damage to the machine. The amnesia device's forcefield shattered as the remaining Sailor Planet energies bombarded it. Danny and Tuxedo-Mask watch this take place in utter amazement at the girls' combined power.
"Woah." Danny says.
"You wanna hear something even more amazing?" Tuxedo-Mask asks. "As strong as that attack is, it's nothing compared to the power of the Silver Crystal. Sailor Moon destroyed Queen Metalia, who resisted the Sailor Planet attack, with one hit from it."
Danny turns to him in shock.
"Ok seriously, where were they in my evil future selves timeline!?"
The amnesia device loses its robot arm weapons, some of its metal skin tiles are torn off and electricity sparks out of its damaged areas. When the energy attack stops flowing, the machine is beaten up, its smile is replaced by a frown and it is hardly able to float in place. The guardians fly up and join Danny and Tuxedo-Mask.
"It's weakened, we can take it down now!" Sailor Moon shouts.
"Are you ready Danny-Kun?" Sailor Jupiter asks.
Danny attempts to transform back into a ghost but he is still weak and when he tries the rings he usually generates disappear.
"I'm still worn out, but I would love to see you finish it off."
Suddenly, Sailor Jupiter is grabbed by a giant hand. She struggles to break free as she is pulled back by an oni soldier. His wrist retracts back into his arm as his massive hand continues to grip around Sailor Jupiter's whole body. She tries using her electric powers but it doesn't phase him.
"My power is that I'm like rubber. Your electricity can hurt me." The oni soldier says.
At that moment, dozens of Oni soldiers descend down accompanied by a massive Oni male and an Oni woman in a tiger-striped cheongsam dress who looks like an older version of Lum. Some of the soldiers have laser rifles, others apprehend the guardians with their powers.
Sailor Mars is encased in a block of ice by another Oni, who has cold energy coming out of his hands.
Sailor Mercury is restrained in a miniature sandstorm keeping her arms and legs restrained as an Oni makes circular hand gestures.
Sailor Venus tries attacking them with her chain, but a small scream of electricity hits it and shocks her. Venus then has several guns pointing at her head and heart. She looks over at the one who shocked her, it was Lum, with the ribbons removed and Rupa on a floating pig-pulled chariot next to her. They and Lum's parents confront Danny, Tuxedo-Mask and Sailor Moon while some of the other Oni soldiers start working on repairing the device. The free soldiers keep their weapons pointed at the three teenagers. Some have the basic laser rifles while others have the same kind of guns that Lum used to paralyze him when they first fought. One also has a device that absorbs and redirects sonic waves, specifically pointed at Sailor Moon.
"Say, aren't you the boy from that weird American family?" Lum asks Danny.
"Oh yeah, we're weird." Danny says sarcastically.
Danny is pulled out of Tuxedo-Mask's arms by Lum's dad's large hands.
"Danny-San!" Tuxedo-Mask shouts, but he is immediately kept back by Oni with lasers.
Lum's father holds Danny up close. He is immensely strong, Danny cant break his grip as the Oni warlord holds him by the neck close.
"So you're the one who's been tormenting my daughter?" Mr. Invader says furiously.
"Your daughter is a selfish spoiled-"
Before Danny can finish that sentence he is shocked by electricity. At first he thinks it's Lum but when he looks around he instead see's it is her mother releasing volts of electricity from her palm, glaring at him hatefully. She speaks in her native language, untranslatable to Danny and the guardians but the other Oni hear it as: "Silence boy!".
Danny tries transforming again and when the rings appear Mrs. invader pulls out a small green ectoranium stone from her pocket. She sends her electricity through it and green electricity shocks Danny. It hurts twice as much as it did before and he is forced back to human form.
"You've attacked my daughter and interfered in her game with my son-in-law. You will be lucky to face life imprisonment." Mr. Invader tells Danny, then he turns to the rest of the guardians. "All of you are."
"Mr and Mrs. Invader. Please." Rupa says. "While I understand your anger I owe the ghost-child and the electric one a debt. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be marrying Carla when we go home."
Jupiter hears this and smiles at him, glad that her advice helped.
"Well, actually Carla said that she still would have said yes even if I used my original proposal method, but the way they convinced me to go about it instead was…sweeter. So I will have to ask you not harm or imprison them."
"It's ok daddy." Lum says. "The amnesia device is almost fixed. And we have an idea on how to keep them occupied."
Mr. Invader reluctantly lets Danny go and he changes back into his chest form. He is still restrained by the many Oni pointing their guns at him and he forces them into a line along with the other guardians. Lum approaches them with the bag Rupa gave her. She pulls out an oddly-shaped mushroom from it.
"You're gonna crush us under giant mushrooms!?" Sailor Moon shouts fearfully.
"These aren't those kinds." Rupa says.
"They are the kind that make clones." Lum says before blowing the spores from the mushroom at the guardians and Danny.
They cough as the Oni step back or let their captives go. Small mushrooms just like it start growing on the teenagers skin, to their horror. They jump off their hosts and grow larger. Danny and the guardians watch in horror as the mushrooms become perfect replicas of themselves, the only difference being that their expressions are blank and emotionless. The amnesia device floats behind them and Lum approaches the clones.
"You will stay with the device and keep away your originals if they try to attack it again." Lum orders them.
"Ok." All the clones say at once.
"They probably don't need to." Says the Oni engineer. "I enhanced its awareness features and speed. I also increased the power to the basic forcefield under the repulsion field and repaired the weapons system. Which I increased too."
Lum claps her hands and smiles.
"Alrighty then, now that that's settled. I'm going to go pick up my gadgets." Lum says before flying to the ground below to get the devices she had in her bra that Danny phased out of her.
Danny and the guardians look around at the oni soldiers, the amnesia device and the clones of themselves.
"You should go now." Rupa says.
"I hate to admit it, but I don't think we can win this one." Sailor Moon says.
Danny glares at him.
"Thanks a lot, Rupa." He says before flying away.
The Sailor Guardians reluctantly join him, but they fly away as Rupa calls out.
"Hey, I saved you from prison! And possibly the galactic colosseum. You could have been on your way to being a gladiator right now!" He calls out to Danny as he flies out of sight.

At the Lucky Dragon Hotel
No one is happy with the way the day went. Lita in particular is kicking over the kitchen table in a fit of rage while Danny is running his hands through his hair. He groans loudly.
"I can't believe this, we almost had her!" Danny shouts.
"We can certainly take her one-on-one." Says Rei. "Without her gadgets she's of little harm to us."
"It's a little hard to fight someone who has weapons that can counter our attacks and who has an entire superpowers alien army." Says Minako.
"Now they have clones of us? CLONES!" Lita shouts. "As if the gadgets weren't enough now we have to face clones of ourselves."
"What are we gonna do?" Sailor Moon cries. "I don't wanna forget who I am!" She literally cries and Mamoru pats her back.
"We could just blast the device and the mother ship out of the sky with the Silver Crystal, but the darn black crystal forcefield will just repel it without at least an equal or greater force against it." Says Ami. "But we would only be able to hit one at a time, whose left could counter us before we can attack them again. Plus that would be killing."
"Maybe you can just focus on the amnesia device."
The guardians and Danny turn around and they see Benten, Ran and Oyuki in the window. The three girls are suspended with Benten's air bike while floating next to them is a small Oni child who essentially looks like a smaller boy version of Lum in tiger striped shorts and a single horn on his head.
"Hey, saw your fight." Benten says. "You guys did good, up until Lum's dad came along."
"Whose this?" Danny asks, pointing at the oni child.
"This is Jariten, he's Lum's little cousin." Ran says.
"Just Ten." The little oni says.
"He has something he wants to share with you." Says Oyuki.
Ten floats up to Danny and the guardians, looking a little nervous while the teenagers eye him suspiciously.
"I talked to my Okaa-han." He says.
"Your what?" Danny asks.
"His mom." Lita whispers to him.
"She agreed that in four days, on the final day of the competition, she will call Oji-chan and Oba-san-"
"Uncle and aunt." Lita translates to Danny. "Lum's parents to him."
"-She will tell them that she has had a fire fighting accident, and she wants to see them." Ten says. "Actually she did have an accident but just a twisted wrist, nothing major but she agreed to help use it as an excuse to get Oji-chan and his army off earth."
The guardians and Danny stare at him.
"And you're going to do that because….?" Danny asks.
"Because I like earth, ok. And there are people I would miss." Ten says.
"Lum's acting crazier than usual." Benten says. "Just destroy the device."
"Well, no army of technologically advanced super-powered aliens will definitely help, but they upgraded the device's defense system." Says Ami.
"And, again, there are clones of us." Lita says.
"The mushroom clones are near mindless." Says Oyuki. "All they can do is follow orders."
"You can take them if you attack them right." Says Ran.
The guardians and Danny glance to one another.
"You know, our combined attacks on the device's forcefield worked. It was just the oni showing up that made us lose." Minako says.
The teenage heroes all nod to each other.
"Ok, so for the next four days, we will train with each other as hard as we can." Usagi says. "We'll get ready for our clones and once we beat them we'll work together to destroy the device again."
"Ten, can you promise to get your uncle's army out of here?" Danny asks.
"Positive." Ten says.
"Alright, I think we can make that work." Danny says. "We should start training right away."
A buzzing sound comes from Danny's pocket and he takes his phone out. He sighs at the caller ID and sees that it's his mom.
"Excuse me a second." Danny answers his phone. "Hi mom."
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, YOUNG MAN!?" Maddie shouts on the other end.
"Hold on, I have to take this." Danny tells the guardians as they walk away, just as his mother is telling him that they were talking about how they can possibly destroy the device themselves.
When he is gone Ten smiles at the girls.
"So, are any of your girls single?" He asks.
They all stare at him disturbed. He turns to Rei.
"I make fire too." Ten says before he breathes out fire from his mouth that takes the shape of a heart and Rei gags.
"Yeah, he's kinda a little Moroboshi." Benten adds.
"Hey, don't compare me to that moron!" Ten shouts at her.
"I'm hoping he grows out of it."

Sub-Space
"Shall we have Lum's father tell his army to stay while just he goes?" A rabbit asks the leader. "Or maybe have him realize it's a ruse?"
"No its fine." The lead rabbit says. "I ensured that the oni mechanics would make even more upgrades as they repaired the device and increased its power. They won't be able to destroy it before the game is done."
Inaba listens to his bosses discuss their plans and he turns to the screens showing Danny and the Sailor Guardians at the hotel. He imagines that if Sinobu was here, she would urge him to do something about this, and he does.
Inaba makes his way over to the forge and he begins crafting his own door knob. He knows he can't interfere with the doors his bosses have created, but he can still give Danny and the guardians the one bit of help they need. He creates the knob and creates the door, just hidden behind two other doors pressed together so that the other rabbits don't notice.
…
Later that Night
Danny lies asleep in bed, exhausted after his fight and subsequent training with Lita and the other guardians. While he has the edge against them in super form, he was no match for any of them in human form even with them going easy. Rei made him do so many pushups. He tosses and turns in his bed as he hears a soft voice call out to him.
"Danny….Fenton…" The voice calls out softly.
Danny ignores it and tries to sleep, but he hears the voice call again. This time he sees a mental image of Mount Tarouzakura.
He still continues to try to ignore it, until the voice calls again to him, followed by the image of a green, slightly translucent baby mouth speaking those words.
Danny opens up with a startle. He nudges his sister who is sleeping in the other bed next to his. He whispers for her to awaken.
"Jazz. Hey, Jazz. Can you hear anything?"
Jazz doesn't answer, she just turns in her sleep. But she appears to be restless, she mumbles: "No, Flynn no. Don't leave."
Danny is at first curious what that means. But he decides it's just dream nonsense and gets out of bed. He creates an ecto-ball to give him some light.
"Danny….Fenton..."
That eerie voice calls again and the ball in Danny's hands dissolves. He tries to summon it again but he cannot create another echo ball. Danny even tries going full ghost, but no rings show up. Now Danny is worried, he seems to have lost his powers. He becomes startled when he hears static from the other room, sees light shining from the crevice of his doorway.
Danny slowly makes his way to the door and peeks his head through the opening. He sees that the tv has somehow turned on, despite his parents still being fast asleep in the other room. Danny sees the screen change and shows Danny stepping into the ghost-portal and becoming a halfa. It shows Danny turning too and from a ghost at various points. It shows Danny sneaking out of the girls locker room. Him fighting Skulker. Danny sneaks out of the girls locker room. Then Vlad, then Pariah Dark and finally Dark Danny. Danny freaks out and tries turning off the tv with his remote, it doesn't work. He tries using the knobs on the tv, nothing changes. Danny even tries unplugging the tv, but the screen is STILL showing.
"Danny…Phantom…."
The eerie voice calls again. This time the screen on the tv shows Mt. Tarouzakura.
"Follow…my…voice…"
The balcony window to the room opens wide. A fog starts forming and when it clears two arrow signs made of ice point towards the outside and Danny sees various objects in the room (the table, the tv, knives in the kitchen) move and point towards the door. At the same time, Danny feels his power returning. He creates a ball of energy in his hand to test it and then takes his ghost form.
"This town keeps freaking me out more and more." Danny says before flying out the window.
He follows the repeating voice: "Danny…Danny…Danny…" as it leads him closer to the mountain. Danny is worried, whatever is calling him seems to have great power. It seems to be able to take his powers away and cause strange things to happen. But he feels that only bad things will happen if he ignores it.
Danny follows the voice until it leads him to Mt. Tarouzakura, one of the mountains within Tomobiki. He hears the voice call louder to him and Danny flies down the opening at the top. Danny descends deeper into the crater, he prepares to phase through the rock at the bottom so he can follow the voice, but the rock moves out of the way for him. Danny questions this, but intones forward. He flies down, descending deeper and deeper into the mountain. Deeper and deeper into the earth. Finally, when Danny must be miles underground, he enters a chasm like space and floats around in the darkness, creating a ball of light to help him see.
He hears voices. Not like before, but many different voices saying different things at once. Danny looks at his feet and he sees what looks like younger versions of Ataru and Sinobu running around playing together.
Danny tries to touch them but they phase right through him.
"How ironic." Danny mutters to himself.
More apparitions appear.
He sees a girl with long black hair, a green skirt and a Japanese school/sailor top. She is holding a cat and facing the opposite direction from a wooden trap-door. The door bursts open and a ray of light pops out. The light takes the form of many hands and they grab onto the girl and pull her down the hole.
Danny tries to grab onto her but the apparition disappears.
Then he sees an apparition of Ataru, in his running track suit, holding Lum's bra while the oni girl glares at him covering her chest. She screams at him to give it back, but when she flies to grab it, Ataru moves out of the way and grabs his horns. "Can I get married now?" He asks, and then Lum latches onto him, to his displeasure as he calls out to the apparition of Sinobu, who walks away angry.
"This must have been how they got quote-un quote married." Danny realizes.
He then sees a little girl playing by herself in the sand. He can tell by her green clothes, her auburn ponytail and beautiful green eyes that this is a younger version of Lita. He gasps as she sees her run into the arms of a woman who looks like a taller version of her and a taller man. Danny gasps, this must be her parents. He then sees the apparition change to little-Lita crying while facing her parents' graves. Danny looks sadly at the vision of young Lita.
But the next apparition catches Danny off guard.
He sees himself as a toddler. A younger version of his older sister Jazz, about four or five years old, is playing peekaboo with 2-3 year old him and laughing. But then Jazz turns to the side.
"Hey Flynn. Come play with Danny for a bit!" Jazz shouts.
"Flynn?" Danny says in shock. "Jazz was mumbling about a "Flynn" in her sleep? They knew each other when they were kids?" He asks himself.
A seven year old boy enters the illusion and Danny gasps. He looks just like Jazz, except a couple of years older. He has the same orange hair but with green eyes, wearing a dark t-shirt with a blue stripe going across
"Sure sis, but first I was going to go check out that awesome thing mom and dad have been working on in the basement." Flynn says. "You know, the ghost-portal thing?"
"SIS!?" Danny says in shock.
He stares at the apparition of this "Flynn" child. Danny thinks it can't be possible, but he wonders, did he have a brother?
"Mom and dad said not to go down there." Jazz tells him. "They said it's dangerous and something could happen."
"It will be fine." Flynn says before rubbing little Danny's head and walking down the stairs.
"What happened to him?" Danny asks.
He gets his answer when the apparition changes. He sees his mom entering the lab looking angry.
"Flynn Fenton!" Apparition Maddie shouts as she walks down the steps. "Your father and I told you not to come into the lab, it's dangerous! You are in so much trouble young….man."
The apparition of Maddie looks around the lab, at the unfinished ghost-portal, and sees that her oldest son is nowhere to be found. She looks around some more, checking under desks, calling out for her son but not seeing him anywhere. Maddie then decides to check the security camera footage.
Danny is concerned himself. The memories of Maddie watching this footage manifests as a second apparition behind them. As the apparition of younger Maddie watches the events on the screen Danny turns around to see a 3-D rendering of it.
Flynn examines the ghost unfinished portal. He kicks it and smiles happily.
"I can't wait for mom and dad to finish making you." He tells the machine. "I really wanna meet a ghost."
Danny eyes his supposed brother curiously, when he was that age he would have screamed and ran away from a ghost. Actually, he would have done the same at 14 before getting his powers. Flynn continues.
"Dad says that ghosts are dangerous and need to be destroyed. Mom says that if they are real they should be dissected. But there's gotta be one friendly ghost, right? Like on tv." Flynn touches the machine. "I mean, if I died and became a ghost, I wouldn't be mean. I can't be the only one. I wanna meet them."
The apparition of Maddie and Danny both gasp when they see a portal open up. Ironically, it is placed right at the opening of the Fenton Portal.
Flynn checks it out and he sees an empty void of green and back energy, its the ghost zone.
The apparition of Maddie and Danny realize the same thing.
"A natural ghost-portal." They speak at once.
"I…I've theorized that natural portals open up connecting our world to the ghost-zone but I didn't think it was possible." Apparition Maddie says shocked.
"Oh, trust me they are real, mom." Danny says to the apparition of his mother. "I've learned about them from the Infi-Map."
Flynn reaches his hand out and touches the portal. He pulls his hand out and finds green goo on it. Flynn turns around and eyes it curiously, not noticing a shadowy silhouette appearing in the portal right behind him. It is a humanoid figure, it looks like it has spider legs on its head and it's carrying a spider-staff. It reaches its hand through the portal as Flynn is completely oblivious.
Danny and Maddie gasp.
"FLYNN!?" Maddie shouts at the screen.
The boy screams as he is grabbed from behind and dragged into the ghost zone. The portal quickly closes behind him. Maddie shakes the screen as she cries out her son's name.
"FLYNN!"
She runs to the place where the portal was and collapses, crying.
Danny gasps in shock and horror as the apparition of his younger mother breaks down sobbing.
"My baby…no…"
Next Danny sees visions of his younger mother, now with a furious and determined face, working on designs and building ghost-hunting weaponry. She works hard in creating the ghost portal. She takes classes on Judo and kickboxing and practices fiercely with training dummies as his father watches her sadly and knowingly why she's so determined to kill any ghost she sees as much as him now.
Danny can hear the apparition of his mothers thoughts.
"Kill them all!" "Blast them to bits!" "Tear them apart! Molecule! By! Molecule!" "Protect my family. They aren't going to take them away from me again!"
The voices silence and Danny looks at the vision of his mother with sadness and shame. He feels terrible for ever thinking she or dad would hurt him for being a ghost. They were only so determined because they already lost one. Sure, maybe his dad was always a bit overeager to fight the supernatural, seems to run in the Fenton side of the family considering what his pilgrim ancestor was like, but now Danny feels like he has a deeper understanding of them. And he thinks about how crushed they would be if they actually did manage to hunt him in ghost form. Of course that's even considering what he watches right now was actually real. FOr now he only has one question:
"What the heck is this place?"
The apparitions clear and Danny turns around to see something that really makes his eyes jump out of his sockets. He had seen a lot of crazy things in this town. He's faced a lot of powerful creatures. But nothing compared to what he was facing just now. It was a giant tree made out of green energy. And all the way at the top of it is a giant baby made of the same energy. Danny recognizes it from his dream, this is what was calling him.
Danny pulls out his thermos and tries sucking it in, but it does nothing. He tries firing a blast at it but it just goes harmlessly through the entity.
"What are you?" Danny asks.
As soon as he asks he hears the voice of a memory. It says: "The personal histories of each one of us...countless voiceless memories...blanket the city like dead plankton silently falling deep in the ocean."
Another voice says: "The town itself is starting to have its own consciousness."
Then he sees an apparition of Mendo. It says: "If we consider that the whole town of Tomobiki, including ourselves...forms a single living organism…"
Danny's eyes widen in realization before he faces it again.
"You…you're the consciousness of Tomobiki?" Danny asks the entity. "Created from all the memories of everyone that lives here."
It only responds: "I…am…still…no…more…than…the…memories…of…this…town."
"Just memories huh?" Danny questions. "So tell me, what do you think Lum's amnesia device is going to do to you?"
He sees various apparitions of Lum, smiling, flying, being mad and zapping Ataru.
An apparition of Mendo says: "Lum is something extraterrestrial….In other words, she's a beautiful, foreign particle."
"I…led…her…here…once…" Tomobiki's consciousness says. "She…is…my…most…valued…treasure…but…I…do…not…want…to…risk…forgetting…"
"Then stop her." Danny says. "It shouldn't be too hard with your power."
"No…the…surface…world…belongs…to…you…"
A small green rod flies out of the entity's forehead. It floats before Danny and it materializes in his hands as a piece of paper with "強さと力" written on it. Thanks to the translator device Danny knows that it means "Strength and Power". It radiates with green energy.
"This…charm…will…make…you…stronger…than…ever…" The entity says. "It…is…only…temporary…and…it…only…works…once…so…use…it…wisely…"
Danny nods and puts the paper in his pocket.
"Thank you. But can you tell me about Flynn?" Danny asks.
"I…only…know…what…your…family…remembers…ask…them…"
Above them a light shines. It reaches closer towards Danny and it engulfs him.
When Danny opens his eyes again he finds himself back in his bed and sees Jazz sleeping next to him. For a moment, he wonders if everything was just a dream, but then he feels something crumble in his pocket. Danny reaches in and pulls out the glowing paper. Danny takes a deep breath in and lets out a big sigh. He puts the paper under his pillow and goes back to sleep. He's going to need it for the training he'll be doing.

"Today, I am going to show you what affects the gadgets I had in my bra would have had on the ghost and the guardians!Now, we are going to see how the gadgets I had on me would have worked against them." Lum says cheerily.
"Wait what?" Danny asks.

Armored Lum vs Danny, Round Two
Lum stands in front of Danny wearing the anti-ghost mech-suit she used to beat him the first time they fought.
This time, Danny takes out one of his parents gadgets, the Fenton Zapper and ecto-energy in electrical form hits Lum. She giggles.
"Electricity? Do you even know me?" Lum asks as she absorbs the energy.
Danny smirks.
"It's electric ghost energy."
Sure enough, once Lum has absorbed it all she starts being hurt by her own armor. She screams as the ectoranium core causes her agony and she quickly forces the pieces off her body. She groans and pants in relief of the pain.
"Guess I should have done that in the first place." Danny says putting the Fenton Zapper away.
"I feel weird." Lum says, grabbing her head.
"Yeah, you were just shocked by your own armor."
"No, I mean weirder than that."
Lum groans and she starts to glow with blue energy and her hair and eyes turn black but it also changes color. It looks pink from one view in the light and blue, green and yellow from others. Danny gasps and steps back.
"What's happening too…" Lum asks, then she suddenly splits into two. Danny gasps in shock as they look at each other surprised. "Me?" They speak at once.
The Lum's suddenly notice that they are flickering between being tangible and intangible as they split into four more copies. They all gaze at each other surprised.
"Of course, I hadn't considered that putting it in your system would give you ghost powers." Danny laments.
One of the Lum's flies through the ground, her head just above the floor. Another Lum hiccups and an ecto-storm appears overhead. Lightning strikes around the area and Danny avoids it.
"Hey! Easy!" Danny shouts.
"Sorry, I'm new to…!" Lum says cheerily.
"Wait, what?" Danny asks.
Lum's eyes flash and suddenly Danny's pants fall down. Danny screams and tries covering himself with his shirt while the other Lum's giggle at him.
"Well, in folklore Oni are known for being bringers of bad luck." Rei says.
The main Lum stops glowing and her hair returns to normal. All the other Lums vanish and the storm above them goes away. She shrugs.
"Hmm, guess I used all my ghost electricity up."

The Paralyzer Ray
The Sailor Guardians are right in the middle of doing their poses which summon their attacks. And then a Ray hits them and they stop moving. They move their eyes to gaze at the shooter. It's Lum with a long rifle-like laser that mounts on her shoulder.
"One time Sakura got possessed by a sake spirit and I tried shooting her with this to paralyze her. It didn't work because she drank so much alcohol." Lum says.
"I figured this would happen someday." Rei says. "We take too long to attack sometimes."

Portable Portal Thrower
Lum places a small rectangular device onto a hula-hoop, she says "Ghost Zone", and it creates a tear in reality from the hoop. Danny sticks his head through it and he comes back looking impressed.
"Wow, it's the actual ghost-zone. I'm impressed, Lum."
His smile falls when he sees Lum sticking the Fenton Zapper to a device with a rod sticking into the ghost zone. The rod seems to suck in ectoplasm, it powers the zapper and it sends more ecto-electricity into Lum.
"What are you doing?" Danny asks.
"Nothing, nothing." Lum says turning it off.

Shrinking Devices
"Hey, do you have anything that can make me shorter?" Lita asks.
Lum holds up a bottle and an odd looking device that looks kind of like a square flower head.
"I have a Ray and a miniaturizing bottle." Lum says.
She accidentally points the ray at Danny, causing him to get sucked into it, and shrink to fit inside in the process. Meanwhile the machine goes off and hits Lita as well as the other guardians with a red energy wave. Causing them to slowly shrink until they are mouse sized. They gaze up at the gigantic looking Lum.
"I wanted to be shorter, not tiny!" Lita yells at her.
"Sorry, I'll reverse this, I promise." Lum says setting the bottle down and Lita helps Danny climb out of it.
"Oh great, I'm tiny again."
"Again?" Ami asks.
"It's a long story." Danny tries to fire a blast of ecto-energy, but it's very small and sizzles away.
"Why are your powers weaker?" Sailor Jupiter asks.
"Less ectoplasm." Danny explains.

Transformation Aerosol Spray
Lum holds out an aerosol can.
"Just spray yourself with this and think about what you want to look like and you'll become it."
Lum sprays herself and when the gas clears she looks like Danny Phantom, to the real one's shock. Then she sprays herself again to look like Sailor Jupiter. Then to look like an asura. Then back to herself. She gives the cab to Danny.
"So I just think of what I want to look like?" Danny smiles then sprays himself.
Lita's eyes jump out of their sockets when the gas clears. Danny looks just as he did before, in the face, except he is now taller than her by several inches (as much taller than her as she was to him before) and quite muscular. He smiles coyly at Lita, who is gazing up at him and blushing.
"What do you think?" Danny asks her.
"Danny-Kun…I…you didn't need to do this. I thought you were cute before." She says.
"Thanks, but-"
Danny grabs her under her arms and easily lifts her up to face level. Lita blushes even harder now from how strong he is in human form now.
"-I think it's nice for me to be able to do this to YOU for a change."
They are about to kiss but Ami takes the spray and uses it on herself. When she emerges she's the striking image of Lita. Both Danny and the real Lita are surprised.
"Woah, so this is what it's like to be as tall as Makoto." Ami says. She then looks down at her new chest and sticks it out. "I must say Lita, you DO have the best…talent."
"Hey! Stop staring at my chest!" Lita shouts.
Suddenly a little girl who looks like Usagi but with pink hair quickly snatches the can from her.
"GIVE ME THAT!" She shouts.
"Chibiusa? When did you get here?" Lita asks.
"No time!"
Chibiusa sprays herself and when the spray fades she looks at herself pleased and relieved. She now looks like Usagi, she's just as tall and just as curved but still has her own clothes and hair color. She squeals in excitement.
"YES! I'M FINALLY A LADY!
Lum isn't amused.
"If all you wanted was to grow bigger and look older you didn't need to waste good spray. I have rays for those. Or a pair of earrings.

Sandwich Nail Polish
Kim holds the bottle in her hands facing the guardians and Danny. They are confused.
"I'm sorry did you say 'sandwich?'" Rei asks.
"What? Does it turn you into a sandwich?" Usagi asks.
"Honestly at this point it wouldn't surprise me." Danny says.
Lum spills some of it onto Danny and Mamoru. Instantly random objects start colliding with both of them. First Usagi and Lita are pulled into their boyfriends. There is mutual blushing on both parts but they pull them off. But then some nearby cars start folding into them. Danny phases out but Mamoru is stuck. After Danny phases him out two the very concrete under them cracks into squares and closes in on the guys. To their displeasure.
"No, it just makes a sad witch out of any solid surface it touches." Lum says.
Danny, unamused, simply phases the polish stain out of his shirt and does the same to Mamoru.

The Fourth Dimensional Bottle
Lum holds an opaque jug out in front of them.
"This bad-boy can suck up anything! Go ahead and try it."
Danny shrugs and fires ectoplasmic blasts at Lum. But just as she said, the bottle simply sucks it inside. Now the guardians are curious.
"Moon Tiara Action!"
"Aqua Shine Illusion!"
"Supreme Thunder!"
"Burning Mandala!"
"Crescent Beam!"
One attack after the other is simply absorbed by the bottle. The guardians are stunned and Ami is the most curious.
"Is there a black hole in there or something?" Ami asks but Lum pulls the bottle away.
"Careful, you don't wanna get sucked in too."

Fantastical Chewing Gum
Lum chews a stick as Danny looks at her skeptically.
"Lum, you're supposed to be showing me more of your space gadgets, not chewing gum." Danny says.
"I am." Says Lum before she blows a bubble.
The bubble takes the form of pac-man. Specifically pac-man eating three pellets that lead to a power-pellet.
"Wow, that's some pretty cool gum!" Danny shouts.
"You should blast it now." Lum tells him.
"Why?"
But when Pac-Man reaches the power-pellet it sends a shock wave out. The energy hits Danny and he suddenly becomes blue with white outlines. Danny looks shocked and worried as pac-man starts charging at him. Danny flies away in a hurry as the gum-video game character chases after. Danny tries firing blasts at it but Pac-Man just eats them.
"Don't worry! The power pellet only lasts ten seconds. You can kill him then!" Lum shouts.
Sure enough when the ten seconds are up and Danny stops glowing, the Pac-Man that was gaining up on him immediately runs the other way. Then dies, in the traditional Pac-Man way, when Danny blasts it.

The Resurrection Gun
Lum fires a Ray at a pile of chicken bones and it returns to being a living chicken. The guardians and Danny clap their hands.
"Amazing!" Usagi shouts.
"So cool!" Says Lita.
"I know Sam would love that!" Danny says.
"You just gotta make sure that the bones are all the same." Lum says.
"Or else it won't work?" Danny questions. Then he sees a pink, freakish bird-thing run past him with a triceratops skull shaped body, Ram horns, a large beak and red stars for eyes. The teenage heroes are all horrified. "Nevermind."

Pocket Time Machine
Lum holds out a tiny tiger-shaped device in her hand and the teenage heroes are all stunned. She attaches it to a cup and a portal opens up in the hole. They look through it and they see young Lita with her parents at a park. To demonstrate, Lum throws a brick at the hole, the hole shrinks it, sucks it in, then expels it normal sized in the past. Lita's father wonders where a brick came from.
"I can't believe you have an actual Time Machine!" Ami shouts. "That small! In your pocket!?"
"Mom! Dad! You're gonna-" Lita shouts, but Rei pulls her away and Lum closes the portal. "Sorry. I couldn't help it."
Rei pats her head in understanding.
"Actually, there are portals in the ghost zone that can lead to various places and even times." Danny says. "I located them and traveled there with the Infi-Map."
"But was it as exact as my device?" Lum asks.
"No, but it was when I included a medallion from the ghost of time with it." Danny says.
"Ok, you needed two ghost items. My people can make these devices and I just needed a cup." Lum teases.
"She's got you there Danny." Minako says.

Alien Crockpot and Oni fertilizer.
Lum introduces two items to Danny. One is a technological crockpot and the other is a bag of "fertilizer" filled with large mineral stones.
"Go on, say any food you like." Lum tells Danny.
"Uh, ok. Nasty Burger and fries."
The croc pot then fills with nasty burgers and fries. Danny is stunned, they look just as they do from the fast food place back home. He is cautious though, he inspects a burger and makes sure it's normal. He then eats it and his eyes light up.
"This IS a Nasty Burger!" He shouts. "Wait, what's the catch? Will I turn into a burger now!?"
"Not unless you ask for food from a specific Star system." Lum says. "Just don't ask for too much at once or all the food will get mixed together."
Danny calls out more food items.
"Pepperoni pizza! Fried Chicken! Mac-n-cheese!"
The croc pot then fills up with said foods. Danny rolls up some mac-n-cheese and chicken with a pizza. He takes a bite and he squeals in delight.
"What's the limit?" Danny asks.
"No limit. It just needs to be charged." Lum says.
"Lum, you gotta share this with the world!" Danny says. "This can end world hunger!"
"The world is hungry?" Lum asks.
"Look up world problems." Danny tells her. "Now what's with the fertilizer?"
"Oh, this is Oni fertilizer. It has a strange effect on earth plants."
Lum introduces a small flower seed to one of the crystals and pours some water on it. The seed rapidly grows into a flower, and to Danny's surprise it keeps getting bigger and bigger. Soon it's eight feet tall. Strangest thing is, it also grows a mouth.
"Hey, can I get some chicken?" The mutant flower asks.
"If we fought again I would have used it on this fossilized Blood-Blossom seed I found." Lum says holding up the dried seed to Danny's face.
"Uh, no thank you." Danny says.

Gigantisizing Candy
Usagi sees Ten eating small candies from a box that has the image of an Oni runner on it. She eyes them and her mouth waters.
"What's that?" Usagi asks.
"Candy." Ten says. "You want one?"
"Yes please!" Usagi says.
Ten is about to give her one, but he hesitates.
"Wait, I feel like I'm forgetting something…oh well. Here you go."
Ten gives Usagi the candy and she promptly eats it. She flinches…
Meanwhile, Lum is showing off her last device to Danny and the other guardians. It's a small hand bend ray gun.
"Ok, this device I just got this morning. I made it myself, it's completely original." Lum says.
"What's it do?" Danny asks.
"It's a-"
"Wait, where's Usagi?" Rei asks.
Ten flies up to the group panicked.
"Uh, Lum. We have a little problem.
The teenagers are shocked when they follow Ten and they find Usagi, now over twenty feet tall, trying to keep her body hidden by hiding in an alleyway. Her clothes are ripped on the ground and she is crying her eyes out.
"What the! How did this happen!?" Ami shouts.
"Usagi! Are you alright!?" Mamoru asks in concern of his, now giant, girlfriend.
"I…I'm fine! Just don't look at me!" Usagi shouts between tears.
"I…uh…gave her one of my candies." Ten admits.
Lum slaps her forehead.
"Ten! How many times do you need to make the same mistake!" Lum snaps. "You CAN'T give Oni candy to EARTHLINGS! They will grow from over nutrition!"
"I'm sorry Lum." Ten says.
Lum sighs and floats away.
"I'll go get the antidote.

The Dub-Gun
Usagi, now returned to normal size and wearing a large sweater and sweatpants to cover herself, sits with her friends as Lum shows off her last invention.
"I call it a Dub-Gun!" Lum says.
"Why do you call it that?" Usagi asks and Lum fires the lazer at her.
She shrieks and the other teenagers gasp in shock. Usagi rubs her eyes and Mamoru comforts her as she is surrounded by the other teenage heroes.
"Usagi, are you alright!?" Mamoru asks.
"What did that crazy alien do to you now?" Rei asks.
Usagi groans, then answers.
"I don't know. It didn't hurt. My throat just feels weird. Huh?"
Usagi finds that her friends are all staring at her horrified. They shriek asking "What was that!?" To Usagi's confusion.
"Hey, what is wrong?" Usagi asks.
To her shock everyone, including Mamoru, is covering their ears.
"Usagi please, for the love of heaven don't talk while you're like this!" Lita shouts.
"It's the most horrible sound I've ever heard!" Shouts Danny.
"What is wrong with my voice?" Usagi asks and the other guardians scream in agony before collapsing. "Guys!? What!? What is wrong!?"
Lum and Ten fly up to her, both wearing earmuffs.
"What did you do to me!?" Usagi asks.
Lum shows her the dial on the gun.
"I had the setting set to Ballantine." Lum says. "You can't hear yourself but you sound like a shrill old woman." Lum then zaps herself. "I set mine to BBC." Lum says, now with an English accent. "Baby Ten, will you go get us some crumpets?"
"Uh, I don't know what crumpets are but I can go get some cookies." Ten days before flying away.
Usagi approaches her and scoffs.
"I sound bad? You sound Cockney!"
"How dare you talk to Princess Lum that way!" Lum shouts back at her.
"You sound like you have as many miles in your voice as a Ford Fusion!" Usagi shouts.
The two girls continue to yell at each other with their new accents. Ten comes back in with a plate of cookies, but seeing the two argue prompts him to back away slowly.

Note: Flynn Fenton is a concept from Butch Hartman also known as Exodus. However in the original concept Flynn is said to be 22 yet in "Prisoners of Love" It is said that Jack and Maddie have only been married for 18 years and Jazz herself is 16 so I changed it so that Flynn is just a year or two older than Jazz. Or perhaps Hartman did not consider he would face Danny until a couple years after cannon. Anyways, here Flynn/Exodus is 18.
The Paralyzer Ray
- Episode 179 (manga chapter 278), Sakura ends up getting possessed by a Sake spirit and causes ruckus. Lum attempts to help by hitting her with a paralyzer ray. But it doesn't work excuse the alcohol and drank acted as a antidote.
Portable Portal Spawner
- Episode 192 (manga 309), A small rectangular device that, like the time machine, opens portals from openings. If the opening is small it will adjust the users mass so they can go through it without an issue. Lum uses it to go too and from the Electric Jungle after being taken there by Shingo. She chooses not to leave outright (initially) because Ataru was being his usual self and she wanted him to come get her.
The Shrink Ray
- Ray: Episode 14 (chapter 23/24 manga), Lum uses a device to shrink Ataru and Mendo, later herself, small so she can place them in a device with zodiac signs to determine which one is most compatible with her. The device concludes they were the same level of idiocy and Lum chooses Ataru.
- Bottle: Episode 161 (chapter 272 manga), Ten buys a bottle from a guy selling them in space and accidentally shrunk Lum with it. Lum needed to get a bigger bottle sold separately to change herself back.
Transformation Aerosol Spray
- Chapter 220 in the Manga. It is one of Ten's toys. Ataru uses it to turn himself into various girls to get close to others.
Sandwich Nail Polish
- Chapter 265 manga, Ten buys this nail polish after seeing an alien advertisement for it on tv. He tricks Lum into applying it on Ataru as he sleeps and throughout the whole day things keep smashing his hand: toast, doors, shoes, clothing, desks, desk, pails, Mendo's sword, etc.
The Fourth Dimensional Bottle
- In the manga, Ataru and Ten used it when they were working together to clear snow. Ten would met the snow with his breath and Ataru would suck it up with the bottle.
Fantastical Chewing Gum
- Chapter 275 manga, another toy owned by Ten, when you chew the gum and blow a bubble it becomes whatever the blower was thinking about, even people. However the creations only last a few minutes and they dissapear immediately when zapped by electricity. Ataru takes it from Ten and uses it to create duplicates of Benten and Oyuki making out with each other, a lightsaber that cuts Mendo's katana, copies of himself to avoid Lum, among other things.
The Resurrection Gun
- Episode 47 (chapter 130 manga), Lum uses this device on a collection of fossil parts that were collected by Ataru, Sinobu and Mendo. The pieces are revived into a single being dubed he "Fossil Creature".
Pocket Time Machine
- Episode 28 (manga chapter 83), a small device that, like the Portal Spawner, sticks to an item and creates a portal into the past from an opening. If the opening is small it will adjust the users mass so they can go through it without an issue. Lum uses one to go back in time to when Ataru was a young boy and train him to be faithful to her. It doesn't work because even then, Ataru couldn't help himself from chasing girls.
Alien Crockpot
- Episode 168 (chapter 280 manga), this bowl came from a different alien species but it was accidentally dropped infront of Tomobiki High school. It magically creates any food spoken to it.
Oni fertilizer
- Episode 29 (chapter 66 manga), Ten uses the fertilizer to grow flowers to impress a pretty flower shop girl. It makes the plants grow gigantic and talk.
Gigantisizing Candy
- Episode 2 (chapter 82 manga) Ten enjoys eating these candies, however he innocently gives one to a sparrow which causes it to enlarge so big that it becomes mistaken for a penguin. The "penguin" ransacks Tomobiki high for everyones lunches but finds that she is now too big to feed her hatchlings. Ten fixes this problem by giving the hatchlings the candies too. In the manga the hatchlings grow just a bit bigger allowing the mother to feed them, in the anime they grow as big as adult humans and Ten makes the mother grow bigger into a kaiju to feed them (giant flies that Ten also made).
