Chp. 10: New Shining Beacon

The next day at Beacon, the school year had finally begun as swarms of people swarmed around the paths around Beacon. Professor Ozpin and Glynda watched everything down below from the window of Ozpin's office.
"Things are going to be quite crowded here," Glynda said.
"So are the other Huntsman Academies, Glynda. But most of the new students here are going to be the very first generation of Terran Huntsmen in history. And it will be quite an event," Ozpin said.
"Not to mention busy," Glynda said.
"Now Glynda, the staff will not be alone to teach them. We do have new members here that will be teaching here. All of them are Terran. And we could be learning from them as well," Ozpin said.
"And I will admit, this will change how Remnant and Earth will run from now on," Glynda said.
"Ain't I right?" Ozpin asked as he took a sip from his mug.
"But I still feel uncertain here. I just know that I'll get headaches in the future," Glynda said.
Just then, three Vale Airships fly towards the landing docks. Ozpin takes a sip from his mug as he watches.
"Looks like more students both old and new have arrived," Ozpin said.
Landing Docks
Meanwhile down at the landing docks, the airships proceed to make their landings onto the landing docks. As soon as they landed, students began to board off of the airships. Teams RWBY, JNPR, GRMA, and CFDT, and Oscar, and Ilia all boarded off one of the airships, carrying luggage with them. Jaune held on to his stomach with one arm trying his best not to throw up from his air sickness. They proceeded to walk up the main avenue and up to the academy.
"It sure is great to be back," Yang said.
"And a lot of changes here are gonna be made," Ren said.
"A lot more students here and more new staff members here are just a couple of examples," Allen said.
"Well I wish all the freshmen here good luck. They are all gonna need it for the initiation tomorrow," Kendra said.
"A lot of them will be fighting Grimm for the first time, so yeah," Ricky said.
"Lord give them strength," Jacob said.
"Guys. Look who's up ahead," Oscar said, pointing up ahead.
Everyone looks up ahead to see what Oscar was pointing at. To their surprise and shock, they all saw three familiar faces, Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, and Hazel Rainart. They all ran up to the three to confront them.
"What the hell are you three doing here?" Nora asked.
"Professor Ozpin made a deal with the U.S. government and all three of us are all on parole," Mercury answered.
"He allowed Mercury and I to be students here, but all three of us have to be monitored," Emerald added.
"The both of us have been rebranded into first years, so we're participating in the initiation tomorrow," Mercury said.
Everyone looked down and saw that Emerald, Mercury, and Hazel were all wearing ankle monitors on them. Then soon looked back up at the three again.
"What about you Hazel? Why are you here?" Oscar asked.
"I was given a job here," Hazel answered.
"Job? What kind?" Kelly asked.
"Whatever Ozpin has planned for me," Hazel answered.
"You don't seem thrilled," Ilia said.
"I only agreed to do this to look out for them," Hazel said, gesturing to Emerald and Mercury.
"Awww..." Yang and Kelly cooed as Mercury rolled his eyes and Emerald looked away embarrassed.
"Well just to give you guys a heads up, many people around here are probably gonna give you three a hard time due to your... backgrounds," Jacob said.
Emerald, Mercury and Hazel all looked around them and noticed a few students glaring at them as they walked by. The three looked back at the group in front of them.
"Just try not to cause any trouble," Ruby said.
Hazel nods as he then walks away as Mercury and Emerald follow behind him.
"I guess I better get to the amphitheater," Ilia said.
"Me too. I am a new student here too after all," Oscar said.
"Good luck you two," Rebecca said.
Oscar and Ilia then started to make their way to the amphitheater. And just then a voice called out to them.
"Kelly!"
Everyone turned to see Azumi running up to Kelly with her guitar case and a duffle bag in her hands.
"I am here!" Azumi exclaimed.
"Who's this?" Pyrrha asked.
"Guys, this is my cousin from Japan, Azumi Fukushima," Kelly introduced.
Azumi turns to face Blake and notices her cat ears.
"I love your cat ears. They look so cute on you!" Azumi said.
"Ummm... thanks?" Blake said unsurely.
"So you guys are all friends of Kelly?" Azumi asked.
"Yeah," Jaune answered.
"You guys will like Azumi. Especially since she happens to be the super hero of Tokyo, Sonic String," Kelly said.
"Wait! That was you?!" Jaune gasped.
"A real life superhero is right in front of us!" Ruby said.
"Yep. I really made a name of myself in Japan. And even though my secret identity got exposed, that still won't stop me from helping people," Azumi said.
"That sounds quite noble of you," Pyrrha said.
"I love to stay and chat, but I need to head to the amphitheater," Azumi said.
"See you around, Azumi," Kelly said.
Azumi turned and then proceeded to make her way to the amphitheater.
Meanwhile by the landing docks, Jesse and Jacket were both carrying duffle bags as they started to make their way up to the Huntsman Academy.
"Ugh... why the hell did you convince me to drink again?" Jesse asked as he rubbed his head.
"It was our last day of freedom before going to school. We're gonna need some form of fun before coming here," Jacket answered.
"You mean you wanted some form of fun and drag me into your fun before coming here to Beacon," Jesse said.
"Whatever you say, Jesse. I just want to share the moment with you. I never forced you to do it," Jacket said.
"Let's just find the amphitheater. It's where all the new students are to going to," Jesse said.
As they walked up the path, the two noticed Teams RWBY, JNPR, GRMA, and CFDT, and Azumi all talking with each other.
"Ain't half of those guys the main cast of RWBY?" Jesse asked.
"Looks like it," Jacket answered.
"Huh. Neat," Jesse said.
Jesse and Jacket walked away to find the amphitheater. Just then, Watson walks up with a duffle bag. He turned his head and saw the four teams interacting with each other.
"Oh my God. It's them!" Watson said.
He took out his iPhone and then took a picture of them.
"Lucas is gonna freak when he sees this," he said.
As Watson was sending the picture he took, Ruby and Yang turned and noticed him.
"Hey Ruby, isn't that the kid Uncle Qrow told us about?" Yang asked.
"When he was in Brazil? Yeah, I think so," Ruby answered.
"Let's go talk to him," Yang said.
The two half sisters walked over to Watson as he then looked up in surprise upon seeing them approaching.
"Hel-looooo!" Yang greeted in a singing manner.
"They're talking to me! They are actually fucking talking to me!" Watson thought.
"Uh, hi there. I've met your uncle," Watson spoke.
"Yeah, he told us about you," Ruby said.
"Yeah, I'm Alexander Watson. But my friends just call me Watson," he introduced. " No need to introduce yourselves since I and well, many people know who you are."
"Yeah, we obviously figured," Yang said.
"I wish I could stay and meet the others, but I need to go to the amphitheater," Watson said.
"Will take later then," Ruby said.
"See ya later," Watson said as he walked away to the amphitheater.
Teams GRMA, CFDT, and JNPR, and Weiss, and Blake all walked up to Ruby and Yang.
"Who's that?" Britney asked.
"Will tell you later. Right now, we should head to our dorms," Yang said.
"Yeah, and get ready for our classes," Rebecca said.
Everyone was about to make their way to the dorm room buildings until a new voice called out.
"Jacob?"
They all stopped in their tracks, Jacob froze in place upon hearing the voice.
"Oh, God. Please no," Jacob muttered under his breath.
Everyone turned to see a young woman with long dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears a leather purple bustier, topped by a silver bird insignia, connected to a brown leather skirt, and a brown belt with a silver buckle. She also wore a pair of knee thigh purple boots with silver designing and metallic gauntlets.
"It's great to see you again, Jakey-Poo!" the girl said.
"Uhh… Jacob? Who is this?" Robert asked.
"Why is she dressed up like a discount Wonder Woman," Jaune asked.
"And why did she call you Jakey-Poo?" Britney asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm Hera Kingsley. And I'm Jacob's girlfriend," the girl known as Hera answered.
"Girlfriend?!" everyone excluding Jacob asked in shock?
"FUCKING WHAT?!" Britney screamed.
"Correction; ex-girlfriend," Jacob said.
"I didn't know you have an ex," Ricky said.
"And there's a good reason why I never brought her up," Jacob said.
"Come on. I know what I did and just want us to get back together again," Hera said.
"Sorry, but Britney here has already taken Jacob," Weiss said.
"Oh. Well just remember, I'm all available for you if you decide that we should get back together again," Hera said as she then walked away.
"I don't like her," Britney said.
"Yeah, she looks like she gives off that 'mean girl' vibe," Kendra said.
"What happened between you two?" Pyrrha asked Jacob.
"I'll tell you about it later," Jacob said.
Suddenly, something zooms right in front of the group and stops right in front of them, revealed to be Doctor Oobleck with his clothes covered in wrinkles and coffee stains.
"Professor?" Weiss spoke.
"Welcome back students. And it's 'doctor' by the way," Oobleck said.
"Great to be back here again," Ruby said.
"Hey Doctor Oobleck, no offense, but why are you looking so messy?" Kelly asked.
"And smell like you haven't showered in a while?" Ricky added.
"I haven't slept in weeks! I have spent that time studying your world known as Earth. And might I say everything about your world is all fascinating," Oobleck said.
"You can say that again," Robert said.
"I came to welcome you all back here, especially those of you that are Earthlings. This is history of the making were all in," Oobleck said.
"Thank you," Britney said.
"I'll be seeing you all in my class soon," Oobleck said before he zoomed off.
"We all better get going," Ren said.
They all then walked away to the dorm room buildings.
