Lavender's Secret
Part 2 When Harry had guided Lavender up the stairs from the main hall leading from on the school grounds of Hogwarts, he poised carefully flushed as if dead because of his lightning shaped scar aching him horribly. But he remained silent, covered in murky mud from him and Lavender. Surrounding Harry and Lavender were the many portraits moving of witches and wizards in beautifully decorated frames, after their legs climbing the floors of stairs they came to a stop toward a portrait of a heavyset woman in a silk pink dress. "Password?" she asked in a smooth voice "Lions courteous", responded Harry rubbing his scar slightly. The portrait swung open to reveal walls of red and gold with drawings of tapestries, by the fire were two armchairs and one long couch in red. Lavender went to sit on the long couch and Harry followed carefully behind her as to not make any noise, he sat down close to her and peered at the fire then leading his emerald eyes to meet hers he leaned in on her to whisper in her ear sweetly "I know this is awkward but trust me it is worth the touch". She was keen on the idea of him being there for her even before she finally saw Voldemort's crimson slit snake eyes. "I'm surly no use to you then because I'm not here to give my body one night of fun then nine months of pain!" she yelled and jumped up, stomping her way toward her dormitory up the flight of stairs. Harry started to brush his cloak and uniform to get the stiff dirt off, sadly he made his way toward the boys bathroom out of the common room down the corridor. But on his way he watched a broad shouldered man wearing a pitch black mid loose shirt and tight pants underneath his bellowing onyx cloak coming toward a door. Harry panicked and tried to remain steadily calm but the ballistic scene made him squirm even more at the face of the man. Harry saw that the dark man had not seen him down the corridor so he continued to walk past the doors to the boys bathroom. Then all of a sudden, he was grabbed with such a force that he barely could stand up straight to balance his feet properly, his eyes met the darkness until a bright light was brought inches from his face and he finally saw what had pulled him in that freezing room that he felt was completely dead. Professor Severus Snape. His frosted black eyes shown beautifully but Harry could never love such a man like that, Snape's greasy looking hair dangled straight close to Harry's horrified face and that skin so pale like maybe even sallow could bring melancholy in his torn heart. "So, Potter taking a midnight stroll I see?" Snape spoke softly "Er. no, I was on my way to the boy's bathroom!" Harry responded quite sharply. "Potter, are you picking a fight with me?" Snape said angrily "No, I just need to use the restroom." Harry said getting angry. "5 points from Gryffindor Potter for your attitude!" Snape snapped, Harry felt like jabbing Snape with his wand and fleeing back toward Gryffindor tower but his guilt held him back from losing more points to Gryffindor and giving Snape the credit of satisfaction. "Harry Potter, maybe you should stay here after all." Snape said differently from his normal sarcastic voice. Harry was shocked to hear how Snape had called him by his full name and was so calm instead. Something was strange, something was changing in this room.
