From The Beginning
Summary: The very beginning of Illusen's life. Deals with her connections to other members of the Fellowship and story of the ring. Definitely AU. Duh!
Disclaimer: It's pretty obvious that I don't own any of Tolkien's characters because I am obviously not Tolkien and will never be as good a writer as him. But I can try right? And unlike Tolkien I'm not making any money of this, which I'd like to be doing.
Prologue: Birth
Elrond Peredhil paced the hall outside his wife's bedroom nervously. His three children, Elladan, Elrohir and Arwen sat on the floor across the hall from the door watching him. They spoke silently to each other.
" I wonder how long he'll pace like that?" Elrohir asked his twin. "I bet you he'll do it till the new baby comes" Elladan replied. "I hope it's a boy" Elrohir stated "Me too" his twin replied.
Suddenly Arwen piped up and asked her father "Ada (father) where do babies come from?". But he just kept on pacing and pacing until finally they heard a baby's cry coming from inside Celebrian's room.
Moments later a healer came out with a perfect little elven baby wrapped in a blanket, she closed the door behind her and looked to Lord Elrond. "It's a girl," she said " her ladyship wishes for you to name her, they are both sleeping".
The three other children watched their father stare at the little bundle as Arwen jumped up and down saying, " it's a girl, it's a girl, yes!!". Elrond beckoned for his children to come closer and the healer lowered down so they could get a better look at the elven baby. " Illusen" said Elrond " her name will be Illusen."
