* Prologue** Flashback *
" The repairs to the engines are almost done," announced Quatre.
"Oh yeah?" questioned Heero quietly. None of the other pilots took notice of the quietness though, just the same old 'Perfect Soldier'.
" That Howard sure is quick when it comes to getting his work done, huh? I'll make my move quickly too," said Duo, moving one of the white chess pieces.
"I wonder if it will make up for our delays," said Trowa moving forward a black pawn.
"Now what move should I be making?" wondered the braided boy and looked up as Wufei moved one of the white pieces instead.
"An excellent play" remarked Trowa.
"Offense is the best defense if you're only defensive you limit yourself," was all that Wufei offered, moving back to lean on the wall again.
"Thanks for the good tip Wufei," said Duo, "Heero, want to play?" but all he got was silence. The four turned their attention to the wing pilot who was holding his cup and staring intently at the table.
"Is something wrong Heero?"
And at that moment had Heero not been so damn stoic, he would have surely burst out laughing. 'Something wrong? For you there is…if you only knew.'
Beep! Beep! Beep!
"Let's go!" the five said and left all the while the boy known as 01 had been thinking who much longer he would have to wait before he could continue with his plans.
* End Flashback *
'…Just a little longer and then they shall come to know the truth….just a little longer' thought a figure watching a boy with messy Dark Brown hair and Prussian blue eyes.
