"I can't believe that we are already here!" said Ginny anxious to get of the Hogwarts express.

"It's good to be back," said Harry. Harry had been going to Hogwarts since he was eleven and he is now 16. His best friends, Ron and Hermione, had been attending the school also.

Hermione looked around the compartment and wondered why Malfoy hadn't showed up yet. He had always stopped in to say a few nasty words to Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Neville before they got off the train. This year she had a feeling that he wouldn't.

"What's wrong?" Ron asked Hermione.

"O, it's nothing," lied Hermione. She wanted to tell her best friends something but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. She knew they would tease her about it.

They stepped off the carriages and hurried into the school. They all put their belongings away and went down to the Great Hall. All of the same teachers were sitting at the teacher's table except the real Mad-Eye Moody was sitting in the Defense Against Dark Arts chair. After the sorting hat sorted the new children and Dumbledore said a few encouraging words, the feast began. There was as much food as there was the previous years.

Ron was digging into his food when he noticed Hermonie starring over at the Slytherin table. "What are you looking at?" Ron asked. He had noticed something was going on with her.

Hermione jumped when she realized Ron was talking to her. "O, o, it's nothing."

Ron said, "Hermione you have been starring at Malfoy since we got here."

"No, I haven't!" Hermione claimed in a how-dare-you-say-that voice.

"O Hermione, do you miss Vicky?" asked Ron.

"NO!" yelled Hermione rolling her eyes.

"Well what are you looking at?" asked Harry.

"Nothing, just Malfoy" said Hermione blankly.

Ron, Harry, Ginny, and Neville looked up and wondered why?
