*Beep**beep**beep*

A sixteen-year-old boy hit the button on his alarm clock to turn it off.  He hated mornings.  The boy yawned and slowly climbed out of bed.  He stretched and walked over to the bathroom to brush his teeth and ran a comb through his short brown hair.  He then quickly got dressed into a pair of blue jeans and a red T-shirt before he left for school.

His high school was rather far away, so he had to take the train to get there.  He made it to the train station and got on.

He noticed that there weren't as many people as usual today.  There were only five other people with him in the car.  There were two boys both wearing matching black trench coats and both had black hair, most likely brothers.  Under their coats they both had on black jeans.  One of them had a dark blue shirt on with the Japanese symbol for 'DARK' on the front.  The other had a red shirt with the symbol for 'LIGHT' on the front.  They both had dark blue backpacks over their shoulders.

There was another younger boy, about 12, in a pair of blue shorts and a cream shirt.  He was probably on his way to school as well as he had a backpack with him and was flipping through a textbook.

There was another boy who had short red/ brown hair.  He was in a plain pair of jeans, a white T-shirt with a lightning bolt, with a black jacket over it.  He also had a backpack on ground with him.

The last person was a girl with blonde hair tied back with a purple ribbon.  She had on a lavender skirt with a white tank top that said WIND on the front in lavender letters.  She also had a purple backpack with her.

He couldn't help but notice there was something familiar about them. He was about to try to start a conversation with one of them when he heard his cell phone ring.  He took it out to answer, not noticing that everyone else in the train car was doing the same thing.

"Hello?"

A familiar voice said to him, "Takuya Kanbara, it is time that you returned."

With that the train gave a jolt and he was knocked backwards.  The last thing he remembered before he blacked out was the faint outline of some sort of creatures forming around himself and the rest of the people in the train.

"It couldn't be…"

Takuya woke up only to find himself on the ground.  He groaned and sat up, taking a look around.  One of the two brothers was desperately trying to wake the other one up.  The girl was looking around confused, while the younger boy was ribbing a bump on his head.  The last boy was just starting to wake up.

This place looks so familiar he thought.  Wait a minute!  He looked around the forest he was in.  "It can't be!"

He stood up and stared at the other people.  "Koji.  Koichi.  Zoë.  Tommy.  J.P."  They all looked at him with wide eyes.

"Takuya!?"

The group all looked at each other for a second before they all lunged in for a big group hug (yes, even Koji.)

"Oh my god how did you…"

"Were did…"

"Why didn't you…"

"This is amazing…"

"…Great to see…"

"I missed you guys!"

After a few minutes of blabbing incomplete sentences, the gang got a hold on themselves and got into a real conversation.

"It's been so long since I've seen you guys," Zoë said.

Tommy nodded his head in agreement.  "Yeah, almost four years."

"It's so weird," Takuya said.  "I hardly recognized you. What ever happened to you guys after we left the Digital world anyway?"

"Well…"

Koji's BF:  Well, that's it for now.

Koichi's BF:  Yep next time we find out how they lost contact and why they were called there again.

Koji's BF:  So keep an eye out for the next chapter.
