BETRAYAL
The saddest sound fills the night,
A lonely figure in the pale moonlight,
Weeping and crying those salty tears,
Crying and crying for what seems like years.
Pale white dress and ebony hair,
Piercing blue eyes and a haunting stare,
Sobbing and sobbing all alone,
Pain and agony to the bone.
A betrayal so deep, tears won't fall,
Wanting to answer deaths sweet call,
Knowing that you can't just be gone,
Knowing you must be there to meet the dawn.
All alone yet in a crowd,
Whimpering and sobbing, not to loud,
Your friends don't care, for they don't know,
The pain is sharp, as the arrow leaving the bow.
Your spirit is shattered, torn and broken,
The prize for winning is a painful token,
Your love for him, flares and flashes,
But he love someone made of ashes.
