Chapter I
After the long day in the early morning before sunrise Zidane was busy creeping to Daggers bedroom. Steiner was outside doing guard duty but was more in on sleep duty. When Zidane saw this he gave a quiet laugh and crept into the room.
Dagger was lying there peacefully to Zidane she was an angel or goddess he didn't care. He smiled, "You're the reason why I wanted to come back and you know what… it was worth it. I love your so much I would go to the end of the world and die for you if I had to."
Zidane quietly crept up beside Dagger, "Hey sleepy head you awake?"
She opened her eyes and saw Zidane next to her, "Well now I am."
"Great! Let's go." He said.
Dagger puzzled, "Where it's still only dawn?"
Zidane rummaged around in Dagger's closet and threw her jumpsuit on her bed and quickly turned away, "That's the point now come on get dressed!"
Still wondering, "Okay."
When Dagger finished dressing they quietly crept passed Steiner, through the double doors, and into the balcony. "Ah the sunrise I haven't seen this in the longest time. I haven't gotten up early enough."
Zidane took a glare at Dagger and back the rising sun, "Hehe the sunrise was my alarm to get up. And as for the sunset, that was you. It reminded me of the time you guys left me during the sunset everyday I stopped and took a look at it to remember."
Dagger smiled, "My sunset was you. It taught me not to lose hope on you and you know what… I didn't. I believed you would come back and you did. You're standing here right next to me in the flesh."
Zidane pulled out a small jewelry box, opened it, and knelt down looking Dagger straight in the eye, "Garnet queen of Alexandria will you marry me?"
Dagger felt a tear of joy run down her cheek, "Yes."
Zidane gently slipped on the ring and both kissed each other as the sun finally rose.
