Sango and Miroku watched as the sun went down little by little. They embraced each other, just sitting there on the soft grass.
Sango laid her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arms tightly around her. They watch the final glowing of the sun going down.
Miroku looked down at Sango. She was asleep with her head still on his shoulder.
He smiled down. Then he gently laid her back on the soft grass. He got up and started find fire wood.
Thank goodness for the moon because he wouldn't have been able to see anything but the moon was so bright that everything was so clear.
"Four", he counted to himself as picking the sticks up. He looked back at sango to make sure that she was alright. Yes she was, still laying there contently on the grass.
Miroku went back to searching. "10", he announced out loud.
He walked back to Sango and close but not too close started building a fire. "This should keep her warm", he thought as he looked at her. "She's beautiful", he said while smirking at her.
"Well the fire was made….", he looked at her as he whispered that. He got up and laid down next to her. He closed his eyes.
"Thank you", Sango whispered.
Miroku opened his eyes but Sango had already curled up next to him and was sleeping again.
Miroku smiled and put his arm around her and they slept.
