Vash walked away from the battlefield with knives flung over his shoulder "calm down now brother ... it is all over," Vash said wonderesly as he stared at the sky ... "We will start anew ... plants and humans."
Hours later ...
Vash met up with Milly and Meryle in town "Vash," Meryle said but he stopped her before she could continue. She didnt't mind she was just happy to see him safe. Then she noticed the bloody heap on his houlder, "Who is that?"
"I-it's my brother," he answered, "and right now he needs medical help."
"Y-your brother? Y-you mean..."
"Yes this is him ... the one who caused so many bad things to happen."
"Wh-why in god's name would you bring him here ..." Meryle asked half-angrily. "How could you do that?!"
Vash slowly turned and lokked at her ... then he smiled, "Because we all ... deserve a second chance."
Milly walked over and as Meryle began to speak Milly placed a hand on her shoulder and shook her head ... she then turned to vash, "There is a hospital over there." Vash thanked her and began to walk towards the hospital but then turned and looked at Milly.
"I wouldn't of won had it not been for him." Milly knew of whom he spoke ... the man she had loved ... the man whose child she now carried in her stomach but, she had not told anyone yet but, it was okay they would know soon enough.
Vash walked on to the hospital and had knives put in the emegency ward. Vash walked into the lobby sat down and drifted off to sleep ...
"Thank you."
"For what ... it's my ideals that resulted in your death."
"No ... it's your ideals that resulted in my salvation"
"Hmmm ... well you enjoying it up there."
"Oh yeah it is ... hmmm looks like trouble ... wake up needle-noggin ... seeya."
"Yeah okay ... I'll see you when it is my time."
Vash awoke in the lobby and heard screams coming from the emergency ward. He ran in there and saw a man on the ground with a bullet wound in his shoulder. Over him stood knives with a gun in his hand sweating like a madman. "VASH!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING ... SELLING ME TO HUMANS ... I SHALL NOT BE TURNED INTO THEIR FUCKING BATTERY LIKE OUR BROTHERS!!!"
Vash looked over his glasses into his brothers eyes "Knives ... YOU IDIOT!!!" Knives was taken aback. "I AM NOT TURNING YOU INTO A DAMNED POWER SOURCE ... I am trying to save your life ..."
"What? Save my life ... what are you talking about ... in a human town ... " Knives questioned.
Hours Later ...
Vash had calmed Knives down for the time being and introduced him to Meryle ("G- gah uhhh hello [nervously]") and Meryle ("OOOOH SO YER THE CRAZY BASTARD WHOSE BEEN KILLING EVERYONE [cluelessly]") ... but little did the brothers know ... they would soon be facing a power unlike any they have ever faced before ...
