Michelle Cassadine slipped down the halls silently, un-noticed. She peeked around the corner and smiled. The drug that she had given the guard had worked. After her grandmother had been dragged off by a bunch of nuns, Luke had arranged for her to be placed in a high security psychiatric hospital. Helena couldn't escape by herself this time, she needed help and Michelle was ever so willing. She had been trying to get on her grandmothers good side for years. No one would even suspect her at first. Michelle had lived in Paris for most of her 20 years of life. At one point she would have stopped and considered what helping Helena escape would do to her brother Nikolas but not anymore. He had turned his back on the Cassadines, coincidently, her. The only one who stood by her was Helena and her father but now he was gone. She crept up to the door that her grandmother was behind and worked on the lock. Only a few seconds later the lock popped. Michelle stood smirking in the doorway as her grandmother looked up in shock from her place at the barred window.
"Michelle?" She asked, unsure if what she saw was real.
"Yes grandmother, it's me." Michelle replied.
"But why?"
"To help you of course."
The oh so familiar wicked smiled spread across Helena's face.
"Hurry up, we don't have much time."
She got up and ran to the door, she looked out and saw the drugged guard. "I'm proud of you child."
Michelle beamed and they ran out of the hospital into the waiting get away car, nearby. They had one more stop to make before going back to Port Charles.
"How could this happen?" Nikolas demanded, slamming down the phone receiver.
"What happened?" Lucky asked, coming into the room.
"What has your father done with our mother?"
"What?" Lucky exclaimed. "She's gone?"
"That was the doctor in London, they went in to give her her medication and she was gone."
"Why do you just assume it was my father?"
"Who else could it have been?" Nikolas asked.
