It was a normal day in Springfield. Birds were chirping, Homer was
driving to work, Bart and Lisa had gone to school, and Marge decided to do
the lawn mowing. She went outside and smelled the fresh morning air, then
went over to the lawn mower, which was aged but was still doing fine. She
then turned it on and began mowing the lawn, which had desperately needed
trimming. She was doing great until suddenly Ned Flanders bounced over to
her. "Hi diddly ho Marge! How ya doin'?" shouted Ned in her ear. Marge lost
control of the lawnmower and swerved to the side, getting chlorophyll on
her clothes and leaving a brown mark on her knee. The heel on her left shoe
broke off and got under the lawnmower, emitting a large metal crunching
noise and sending red bits of shoe material all over the place. She glared
up at Ned.
"NED! What was that for?!" exclaimed Marge, standing up and brushing
herself off.
"I've just got the HOLY SPIRIT inside o' me! Here! Have an 'I Love Jesus'
pin!" blabs Ned, attaching a pin to her shirt. "Gotta scram! I don't wanna
be late for church now!" says Ned, bouncing away to his car, which he had
put a sign on that said, "Jesus is the lord! Sinners shall be forgiven!" on
it, along with a white marble cross. Mr. Burns had been walking along the
sidewalk and saw the cross.
"AHH! It burns! It burns Mr. Burns!" screamed Mr. Burns, diving through the
window of a women's fashion store.
