A Child

A child of destruction

A child of caring

A darkness claims her

Yet light shines through her

Held in fear

With only hope

A child feared

A child of hope

Longing for friendship

To escape a lonely heart

Longing to live

Imprisoned by death

Until once again

Reborn in the light
