Ice Queen

With each breath Sir Integra could feel the cold begin to spread throughout her body, but her mind wasn't focused on how cold she was but rather the prior weeks events. So much had happened so fast, all she could do was stand there and watch her organization fall apart at the seems. She had sent all her troops to their deaths at the Tower of London, as well as Ferguson, and she nearly lost Walter too. She knew that the cost of their lives we're expendable in order to protect London, the Queen, and the citizens, but she didn't like the idea of losing them. Especially when they degraded by they media when they we're turned into the enemy rather than the protectors. Even Integra herself was jailed for three days until they situation could be sorted out. Sure enough their Judas was punished but that still wasn't acceptable to her, they gave theirs lives for their country, to only be abandoned by her. But here she was trudging through 2 feet of snow, with Alucard by her side, on the hunt for more ghouls to protect her country. She questioned why she still was here doing this after being betrayed but the only conclusion she could come to, was that it was all part of her job, and she was a Hellsing; quitting to her would be worst than being betrayed.
Since Walter was injured in the helicopter crash, he remained at HQ with Seras Victoria who was busy training the new the new recruits, while Integra and Alucard trudged through the snow towards the scene of the most recent ghoul sighting. As they walked along Alucard face grew wide with a vivacious smirk over Integra's mental disarray.
"What the hell so damn funny?" Integra snapped at first sight of the Alucard's smirk.

"Nothing, nothing at all" Alucard causally replied with a sigh.

Seconds later their newly acquired silence was ended by low moaning and growling sounds.

"There's the filthy vermin we're looking for." Integra stated while looking at their tracks in the snow. "There's a couple of them, and they've split up; as we should."

"Very well but you must watch your own back then." Alucard replied.

"You don't think I can handle a couple of pathetic ghouls, they're no better than animals, they don't have a chance." Integra snorted back with an evil scowl.

"Yes, but when animals hunt they can also be sly and cunning, for all we know this could be a trap. Ever heard of something call divide and conquer?" Alucard wittedly remarked.

"They are nothing more than mindless zombies, they do not think they live to feed, and follow orders." Integra impatiently replied, "Now lets stop wasting our time with this mere, senseless conversion, they're getting away." Integra trailed off while walking away.

"Fine by me master, Ignorance is your downfall, your goal blocks your path there, you must learn to see with eyes unclouded by your ignorance, to see from someone else's point of view, what you need to see is that your wrong and if I wasn't obligated to protect you, I'd let you fall and have a taste of ignorant you truly are." Alucard replied, with a sigh. He stood there for a moment pondering his master's thought process, before being distracted by the snowflakes falling before his face. He reached up to touch one, but once it touched his hand it collapsed and melted. It was so fragile, even to the small touch. It reminded him of Integra, she was an ice queen made up of hundreds of tiny snowfalls and one by one they were collapsing and melting, to the point where it was only a matter of time before she collapsed. "Or melts" laughed Alucard. "I must be the one there when she melts, I'm sure being there then will have its perks." Followed by the return of that devious smirk.
